Technology development can’t be denied a great role and contribution in the life. The world has undergone a technology transition through the first, second and the third revolutions. Every revolutions having its own progress and achievement.  Now, the world will facing the new revolutions of the industrial revolutions 4.0, which is based on the emergence of supercomputer, smart robot, also unmanned vehicle and variety technologies. Industrial Revolution 4.0 also pushed up the mobile applications as a medium in every life and it’s an inevitable transformation. All parties need to be prepared and adapted to face the challenges of the Industrial Revolutions 4.0 to remain competent. This study aims to identify teaching methods for PSMZA lecturers in the face of the challenges of the Industrial Revolutions 4.0. The study was conducted qualitatively in the form of a document evaluation. Some previous reports were reviewed through findings from the conference and journal, identified as a literature review, data were collected and analyzed using a matrix table. Researchers suggested that polytechnic management set the strategy by increasing the training and seminars on the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and taking other effective measures to ensure that lecturers are prepared to take on the challenge. The PSMZA lecturer is advised to increase knowledge in information technology, further reading and training remain competent in the current Industrial Revolution 4.0.

The industrial revolution 4.0 is a digital-based era that demands the quality of human resources (HR) who have high skills. The Education and Training Center (ETC) is one of the institutions that plays role in increasing the quality level of human resources. This study aims to see the effect simultaneously and partially between the competence of instructors and infrastructure on the quality of ETC graduates in the face of the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. in Indragiri Hulu Regency. The population in this study consists of all ETCs in Indragiri Hulu, there are 15 ETCs and all ETCs were sampled. Multiple regression and correlation analysis using SPSS 22.0 was used to determine whether or not there is an influence and relationship between variables. The results of the study concluded (1) the competence of instructors and infrastructure simultaneously had a significant effect on the quality of graduates. (2) Instructor competence partially has a significant effect on the quality of graduates. (3) Facilities partially has a significant effect on the quality of graduates. The variable that has the greatest contribution to the quality of ETC graduates in Indragiri Hulu Regency is the competence of the instructor followed by infrastructure. In this case, of education it will be very difficult for ETC graduates to compete in the world of work. Because this is a factor caused from within the ETC itself.

In the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and integration of the Vietnamese economy into the global economy, Vietnam's education and training has been increasingly developed and increasingly deeply integrated into the world. The development of teacher training programs is considered an urgent issue, a prerequisite to contribute positively to the development of education and training in the country. However, the first period of integration shows that teachers have many limitations in practical skills, soft skills, and foreign languages when working in a modern environment. These limitations are due to many factors; one of the basic factors is that the training programs at teacher training facilities are mainly focused on knowledge towards approaching content. Therefore, the development of training programs in general and teacher training programs in particular in the direction of developing necessary skills that society requires learners to have, in order to work and develop their qualities after graduation, to meet the integration needs in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0 is an important trend in the world and especially for Vietnam in the current period. CDIO stands for words: Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate. It is a solution to improve the quality of training to meet social requirements, on the basis of determining the outcome standards, developing programs and training plans; It is also the idea of universities, technical institutes of the United States and Sweden in the early 90s of the last century with the intention of training students after graduation with full knowledge and skills such as: communication skills, personal skills ... and immediate access to the labor market, meeting the needs of the business. In this article, we focus on the solution to develop teacher training programs under the CDIO approach to meet the requirements of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 in higher education institutions in Vietnam.

The importance of preserving the environment from waste and its pollution lies in many matters such as preserving people health, enhancing the aesthetic character of cites, attracting tourists, and protecting society from environmental disasters. The environmental wastes are the main dilemmas in our daily life and in the world at large. With the existence of modern technology, development and the field of the internet, many solutions have been undertaken to get rid these dilemmas. In this paper, a smart waste system based on internet of things (IoT) technique has been proposed using ESP-32 Wi-Fi microcontroller. This system can be adopted to avoid the accumulation of waste in the streets that distort the face of civilization, also to reduce the burden of workers and limit the workforce. The system is based on a multiple sensors in the garbage baskets, as they measure the waste level by using ultrasonic sensor, the moisture percent and temperature degree using DHT-22 sensor. The sensors data are processed by ESP32 microcontroller and displayed to both LCD screen using I2C protocol and mobile application using IoT cloud. System baskets automatically open their covers when the person approaches with a distance less or equal to 30 cm to throw garbage. Any approval waste basket is automatically discharged through an underground dump system using conveyor belt if the basket is full by 80% garbage and/or the basket moisture reaches to 40%.

The fourth industrial revolution (4IR) is gradually gaining momentum in a wide range, and as it gathers pace, innovations are becoming faster, more efficient, and widely accessible than before. However, due to the outbreak of Covid 19, the world had seen a shift in the traditional ways in all aspects of human activities, especially in the socio-economic sector. This paper explores the effect of Covid19 on the development of the fourth industrial revolution in the Southern African region and will review the literature on pandemic and its effect on industrial revolutions. It will also review the literature on the fourth industrial revolution, the spread of the Covid 19 pandemic, and its effect on the development of the fourth industrial revolution in Southern Africa.

The educational world in Indonesia experiences a phenomenon in the face of the era of industrial revolution 4.0, this can have a significant impact on the world of education. Many scientists, experts, organizations, educational institutions, universities make strategies in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0. One of them conducted by the Federation of Information and Communication Technology Teachers) held a workshop in Jakarta, 6-7 October 2018 themed "Dynamics of ICT / Informatics Learning Policies in the Age of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Increased Competence of ICT/Informatics Teachers on 21st Century Learning". This study aims to determine the ICT-based learning strategies applied at Public Senior Scondary School 1 Sungai Rotan in the face of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. Sources of data obtained by researchers from teachers as the object of research at Public Senior Scondary School 1 Sungai Rotan and obtained from the latest information in the world of education related to the era of industrial revolution 4.0. The data of this study were collected using the method of documentation and direct interviews with subject teachers. The findings of the data obtained were then analyzed by researchers that at Public Senior Scondary School 1 Sungai Rotan had a reliable strategy in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0 because it was proven in every learning that all teachers had applied ICT-based learning, the use of laptops (computers) and the internet was the wrong one that should not be ignored which is integrated in the curriculum.

As the scientific and industrial revolutions came to a head in the 19th century, and society became increasingly secularized, the traditional social order underwent radical change in a very short time. During this period, people began to feel disconnected from the traditional belief systems that had helped them make sense of the world and of their lives. In these conditions, people may not literally commit suicide, but a kind of spiritual death – spiritual death – becomes a real danger. It occurs when people give up to resignation and surrender in the face of what they see as the pointlessness of existence.

Generally speaking, the issue of humans are technological addicts due to the Industrial Revolution 4.0 already has been described as a serious one where most of the humans nowadays actually can’t live without a single type of technology because we’re now living our life to the fullest with technology development. This issue makes most of the country in this world, including Malaysia, are alert with these problems, while some have described it as a normal or generated issue that will not affect our lives and it just a part of the revolution of the world. Thus, this research will lead us to a deeper knowledge about the scenario behind all of these scenes that occur right now. Moreover, this research also will approach the issue of humans are technological addicts by doing some interviews with society such as students, and lecturers who are addicts with the technology and help them to overcome this problem. The findings showed that it is just a natural issue but the scene behind it, the causes can be related to our natural human need for stimulation, interaction, and changes in the environment with great efficiency especially when we are dealing with stress. Furthermore, the finding showed that the role of parents, society, and follow-up techniques could solve this problem slowly but surely.

Without doubt Great Britain led the world into the Industrial Revolution, and for a considerable period up till the second half of the nineteenth century it could rightly consider itself as ‘the workshop of the world’. The author traces up till recent times why it was that Great Britain lost that position, mainly because of its reliance on engineers learning on the job by picking things up for themselves and learning by rule-of-thumb and ignoring the need for a soundly based education and well planned training. Since the end of World War II various attempts have been made to rectify this position, but without much success, until the Finniston Committee Report. The organization of the Engineering Council, set up in 1982 on the recommendation of the Finniston Committee, is considered, and in particular its responsibility for the engineering profession and for changing the public's perception of industry and the engineering profession. The author expresses his opinion on the initial education and training of engineers. He comments on the need to reconsider whether mechanical engineering as presently taught is a viable subject, or if a course spanning mechanical and electronic engineering is needed. He sees the objective of engineering education as being a design for total life cost, and he explores how this may be achieved within a total technology concept. Finally, he considers how to achieve better university/industry collaboration which is at the heart of effective education and training of engineers. He describes the Technology Centre concept recently set up in the Queen's University of Belfast, which integrates the services and resources provided for local industry and those required by the engineering departments of the University as well as providing for continuing education and training. He sees this as the way ahead in achieving close collaboration with industry.

AbstractThe main goal of this targeted agenda program (TAP) was the establishment of an international network that would be able to advise on how to improve education and training for chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN)) responders. By combining the members of the TAP group, the CBRN Task Force of the World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WADEM) and the European network of the Hesculaep Group, an enthusiastic and determined group has been established to achieve the defined goal. It was acknowledged that the bottlenecks for education and training for CBRN responders are mainly awareness and preparedness. For this reason, even basic education and training on CBRN is lacking. It was advised that the focus for the future should be on the development of internationally standardized protocols and standards. The face-to-face discussions of the TAP will be continued at future Hesculaep expert meetings. The intention is that during the 16WCDEM, the achievements of the established network will be presented.

Większość ze zgłoszonych w latach 1945–1950 oddolnych propozycji reform Polskiej Akademii Umiejętności (PAU) miała na celu dostosowanie Akademii do pogłębiającej się specjalizacji w świecie nauki. Omawiana w artykule, nieznana dotąd, inicjatywa filozofa Romana Ingardena miała charakter odmienny. Projektowany przez niego Instytut miał być ośrodkiem służącym stałej współpracy naukowej między uczonymi reprezentującymi nauki przyrodnicze i humanistyczne. Korzystając ze źródeł archiwalnych i publikacji, omówiono również okoliczności powstania tego pomysłu. Opisano także powody, dla których inicjatywa ta nie została wdrożona. Ingarden uważał, że badania prowadzone w ramach pracowni eksperymentalnych Instytutu powinny objąć podstawowe zagadnienia praktyczne, zarówno odnośnie do całych zbiorowości, jak i poszczególnych ludzi. Miały dotyczyć m.in. natury człowieka, jego roli na świecie, odrębności i pokrewieństwa w stosunku do innych istot żywych. Ingarden proponował także przetestowanie w ramach Instytutu nowych metod badań i wyszkolenie w ich stosowaniu licznych naukowców. W praktyce idea powołania Instytutu Nauk o Człowieku PAU była sprzeczna z ówczesną polityką władz państwowych. In the face of threat. The Attempt to appoint in 1950. interdisciplinary Institute of Human Research of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences Most of the proposals for reforms at the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, submitted in 1945–1950, concerned the adaptation of the Academy to further specialization in the world of science. Discussed in the article, the previously unknown, initiative of the eminent philosopher Roman Ingarden was of a different nature. The institute, he was designing, was to be the center of permanent scientific cooperation between scientists from natural and humanities sciences. Using the archive sources and publications, the circumstances of this idea creation were also discussed. The reasons why this initiative was not implemented were also described. Ingarden believed that research conducted as part of the Institute’s experimental labs should cover basic practical issues both for entire communities and individual people. They were to concern, i.a. the nature of man, his role in the world; separateness and kinship to other living beings. The philosopher also proposed testing new research methods at the Institute and training numerous scientists in their application. In practice, the idea of establishing the Institute of Human Sciences of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences was contrary to the policy of the state authorities at that time.
