This study sought to determine the influence of grammar and vocabularies mastery on the  students ability of  translate in the Kudus Islamic University. The approach articles used in this study is a quantitative approach because researchers wanted to test the hypothesis that shaped assosiative hypothesis (is the hypothesis that asks a relationship between two or more variables). This approach is said to be a quantitative approach because the existing data in the form of numbers and statistics used in analyzing it. Meanwhile, the method used is research Correlation, because the correlation study researchers wanted to uncover the relationship of variations in the correlation coefficient. The results of this research are: 1) the effect of gramatikan mastery to capability students of translate in the Kudus Islamic University as 0.4925 rhitung score greater than 0.317 rtabel. This shows a significant correlation while the coefficient of determination between X1 and Y of 24.25303%. 2) the effect of vocabulary mastery to capability students of translate in the Kudus Islamic University as a score of 0.605 rhitung greater than 0.317 rtabel. This shows a significant relationship coefficient of determination between X2 and Y amounted to 36.62499%, 3) The calculation Ry.X1X2 0.589, ryx1 0.492 and 0.605 ryx2 greater than 0.317 rtabel. This shows that there is a relationship multi positive correlation between mastery of vocabulary and grammatical to capability students of translate in the Kudus Islamic University and acceptance of the hypothesis.

THE RELATIONSHIP OF STUDENTS' UNDERSTANDING LEVEL OF ANIMAL MORPHOLOGY CHARACTERISTICS WITH THE ABILITY TO MEMORIZE ANIMAL LATIN NAMES IN GRADE 10 IPAAbstractAnimal taxonomy subjects often use animal's Latin names. Many students think that this subject is annoying because it is dominated by memorizing animal's Latin names, even though memorizing becomes a prerequisite for understanding. Meanwhile, most of the language materials memorized need an understanding before the memorizing process. This study aimed to find a relationship between the level of students' understanding of an animal's morphological characteristics and the ability to memorize animal's Latin names at the Xth grade of IPA students in SMAN 3 Jember. This study used a quantitative approach with a type of ex post facto. The test obtained the data. Then it was descriptively and inferentially analyzed by Kendall correlation. This research indicated that 56 students who answered test of the level of understanding animal's morphological characteristics and the ability to memorize animal's Latin names resulted in a correlation coefficient of score 0.673, and significance 0,000 < 0.05. Therefore, if the level of students’ understanding of an animal's morphological characteristics increased, the ability to memorize animal's Latin names at the Xth grade of IPA students in SMAN 3 Jember also increased, conversely. AbstrakNama latin hewan sering digunakan dalam materi taksonomi hewan. Banyak siswa beranggapan bahwa materi tersebut membosankan karena didominasi oleh menghafal nama latin hewan, padahal menghafal menjadi prasyarat pemahaman. Sementara itu, sebagian besar materi bahasa yang dihafal membutuhkan pemahaman sebelum proses menghafal berlangsung. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui hubungan tingkat pemahaman karakteristik morfologi hewan dengan kemampuan menghafal nama latin hewan pada siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 3 Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis eks post facto. Data didapatkan menggunakan instrumen tes. Kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan korelasi Kendall. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 56 siswa yang menjawab tes tingkat pemahaman karakteristik morfologi hewan dan kemampuan menghafal nama latin hewan menghasilkan koefisien korelasi 0,673 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, jika tingkat pemahaman karakteristik morfologi hewan meningkat, kemampuan menghafal nama latin hewan pada siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 3 Jember juga meningkat, begitupula sebaliknya.

In this competitive world, it is essential to grab the sportive nature of sports persons. For different personality type of the individual the motive to engage in sports also varies from person to person. The aim of the present study is to determine the relationship between personality and motivation among sports persons and to identify the gender difference of personality and motivation factors. The sample of this study was 120 sports persons out of which 60 were males and 60 were females belonging to the age range of 18 -30 years. The mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s correlation coefficient were used for analysing the data. Results indicate that there is no significant relationship between Personality and Motivation type of sports persons.

Dental and oral health education is one of the efforts to improve dental and oral primary school age is the ideal age to train motor skills of a child. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and actions about maintaining oral health in children aged 11-12 year SDN 020583 Binjai city year 2016. In this case the researcher took a type of correlation study which aims to reveal the relationship of knowledge with actions on maintaining dental and oral health in children aged 11-12 years. The sample in this study were students aged 11-12 years in SDN 020583 in the city of Binjai as many as 32 people the instruments used in this study were questionnaires containing 20 questions. Data is then analyzed in the form of table characteristics of the level of knowledge and behavior of the respondents then presented. The results of the study r count (0.581)> r table so that the alternative hypothesis is accepted there is no significant relationship, then there is a relationship of knowledge with actions about the maintenance of teeth and mouth in children aged 11-12 years in SDN 020583 in Bandung 2016. t count: in the results of this calculation show that the value of t count (18,182)> t table (2,042). If t count> t tables of alternative hypotheses are accepted, it means that there is a significant relationship, then there is a relationship of knowledge with actions on maintaining dental and oral health in children aged 11-12 years in SDN 020583 in the city of 2016Keywords: Knowledge, actions of the child's teeth and mouth

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between achievement motivation and students' mathematics learning habits with student achievement. This research is a correlation study consisting of two independent variables, namely achievement motivation and students' mathematics learning habits, and one dependent variable, student learning achievement. The research was conducted in Bima City 5 Middle School Class VIII-B in 2017 with a sample of 23 people taken by proportional random sampling. The results of this study produce three conclusions, namely: There is a positive and significant relationship between achievement motivation and student achievement with a correlation coefficient (ry1) of 0.90 and a coefficient of determination (r1y1) of 90% with a regression equation Ŷ1 = 53.832 + 2.579X1. A positive and significant relationship between students' mathematical learning habits and student achievement, with a correlation coefficient (ry2) of 0.74 and a coefficient of determination (r²y2) of) 74% with a regression equation Ŷ1 = 7.102 + 0.742X2. Positive and significant relationship between achievement motivation and mathematics learning habits of students with student learning achievement with a correlation coefficient (ry12) of 0.830 and a coefficient of determination (r²y12) of 83% with a regression equation Ŷ12 = 3.177 +0.062 X1 + 0.753X2. The conclusion of this study is that student learning achievement can be improved through increasing achievement motivation and students 'mathematics learning habits as indicated by the determination coefficient of 0.830 which means the contribution of achievement motivation and students' mathematics learning habits with student learning achievement is 83%.

This research consists of two independent variables, the disaster knowledge and environmental culture, and a dependent variable of disaster preparedness behaviour. The objective is to determine the relationship between disaster knowledge and environmental culture with disaster preparedness behaviour, as well as the relationship between both of the together with disaster preparedness behaviour. The study was conducted through 166 students of three senior high schools in the District of West Karawang, West Java, which taken by proportional random sampling. The method of survey was employed in this study and the data analyzed by statistical test of correlation and simple linier regression as well as multiple linear correlation and regression, which was conducted at significance level of α = 0.01 and α = 0.05. Based on the results, it was found that there was a positive and significant relationship between disaster knowledge and disaster preparedness behaviour with a correlation coefficient value of ry1 = 0.22 and a coefficient of determination value of (r2) = 0.049. There is a positive and significant relationship between environmental culture and disaster preparedness behaviour with a correlation coefficient value of ry2 = 0.25 and a coefficient of determination value of (r2) = 0.064. There is a positive and significant relationship between disaster knowledge and environmental culture together with disaster preparedness behaviour with a correlation coefficient value of ry12 = 0.32 and a coefficient of determination value of (r2) = 0.097. Thus, it can be concluded that student’s disaster preparedness behaviour can be improved through either disaster knowledge and environmental culture.Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua variabel bebas, pengetahuan kebencanaan dan budaya lingkungan, serta satu variabel terikat yaitu perilaku siaga bencana. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan kebencanaan, budaya lingkungan dengan perilaku siaga bencana, serta hubungan keduanya secara bersama-sama dengan perilaku siaga bencana. Penelitian dilaksanakan melalui 166 siswa di tiga sekolah menengah atas, Kecamatan Karawang Barat, yang diambil secara proporsional random sampling. Metode survey digunakan dan data dianalisis dengan uji statistik korelasi dan regresi sederhana serta korelasi dan regresi linear ganda, dilakukan pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,01 dan α = 0,05. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pengetahuan kebencanaan dengan perilaku siaga bencana dengan nilai koefisien korelasi ry1 = 0,22 dan koefisien determinasi (r2) = 0,049. Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara budaya lingkungan dengan perilaku siaga bencana dengan nilai koefisien korelasi ry2 = 0,25dan koefisien determinasi (r2) = 0,064. Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pengetahuan kebencanaan dan budaya lingkungan secara bersama-sama dengan perilaku siaga bencana, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi ry12 = 0,32 dan koefisien determinasi (r2) = 0,097. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku siaga bencana siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui pengetahuan kebencanaan dan budaya lingkungan.

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the relationship of understanding of working drawings to learning outcomes practices lathe machining techniques; (2) the relationship of learning outcomes lathe machining engineering theory with practice learning outcomes lathe machining techniques; and (3) the relationship of understanding of working drawings and learning outcomes lathe machining engineering theory with practice learning outcomes lathe machining technique class XI student of SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan Academic Year 2015/2016. This research is a correlation study. Members of the study population consisted of 149 students. Samples were taken based on the formula slovin is 110 students. Sampling was conducted using Proportional Random Sampling technique. In this research, there are two independent variables that relationship understanding of working drawings and learning outcomes theory lathe machining techniques, as well as the dependent variable is the result of learning practices lathe machining techniques. Methods of data collection using tests and documentation.Data were analyzed using partial correlation formula and double correlation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between the understanding of working drawings to learning outcomes practices lathe machining techniques. Evidenced by the price of r count larger than r 0.285 0.186 table. It shows that the higher a person's understanding of working drawings, the higher the learning outcomes the lathe practice machining techniques; (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning outcomes lathe machining engineering theory with practice learning outcomes lathe machining techniques. Evidenced by the price of r count larger than r 0.250 0.186 table. It shows that the higher the yield learning theory lathe machining techniques a person, the higher the learning outcomes the lathe practice machining techniques; and (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between the understanding of working drawings and learning outcomes theory lathe machining techniques together with the learning outcomes the lathe practice machining techniques. Evidenced by the price of R = 0.372 and p = 0.000 smaller than 0.05. It shows that thehigher a person'sunderstanding of working drawings and learning outcomes theory lathe machining techniques a person, the higher the learning outcomes the lathe practice machining techniques.

<span class="fontstyle0">The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between the television shows that children saw on imitation behavior of children aged 4-5 years in Pojok, Mojogedang, Karanganyar. The approach in this study uses a quantitative approach with a type of correlation. This research was conducted in December 2018 by using a sample of 77 children and parents in Pojok, Mojogedang, Karanganyar. Retrieval of data from this study using questionnaires distributed to parents. The results of the hypothesis test of the Spearman Rho correlation show that the significance value is 0,000 &lt;0.05 which means the hypothesis is accepted, namely the relationship of television shows to the imitation behavior of children aged 4-5 years in Pojok, Mojogedang, Karanganyar. The results of the Spearman Rho Hypothesis Test also show a correlation coefficient of 0.657 which means television shows had a strong influence on the imitation behavior of children. The result of the data show that the higher the television show that the children sees, the higher the imitation behavior that is raised, the lower the television show that the children sees, the lower the imitation behavior that is raised. The conclusion of this study is that television shows become models for children’s imitation behavior</span> <br /><br />

The study aims to determine the relationship of PJOK teachers professional competence to the implementation of the 2013 PJOK curriculum in elementary schools in Tambaksari sub-district. This research is a descriptive correlation study, which is the subject of research is all PJOK teachers in Tambaksari sub-district, amounting to 42 teachers. In collecting data using two questionnaires, namely (1) questionnaire to find out the professional competence of PJOK teachers and (2) questionnaire to find out the implementation of the 2013 PJOK curriculum, which was made through Google and distributed through the PJOK teachers working grup (KKG) Tambaksari sub-district. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis to determine the percentage of respondents anwers, norm reference assessment (PAN) to determine score criteria, product moment correlation analysis and coefficient of determination. Based on data analysis, obtained the professional competency value of PJOK teachers in Tambaksari district with an average of 40.21 in the classification is quite good, the value of the implementation of the 2013 PJOK curriculum in Tambaksari district with an average of 44.38 in the category is quite good, and correlation coefficient of 0.358 with a significance of 0.020, when compared with r table then r_(count) > r_tabel (0.358 > 0.304) so that it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the professional competence of PJOK teachers and implementation of the 2013 PJOK curriculum in elementary schools in Tambaksari sub-disrict. Calculation of the coefficient of determination of 12.82% which means professional competence can affect the implementation of 12.82% and 87.18% influenced by other factors.

This study aims to find out both partially and simultaneously the relationship of Exercise Regularity (X1 ) and Diet (X2 ) with the Incidence of Degenerative Diseases (Y) among the residents of Housing Kanjuruhan Asri, Malang City. The study uses a purposive proportional random sampling survey method. The instrument of the study was a questionnaire that has previously been validated by the Pearson’s Product Moment validity test and Spearman Brown’s reliability test (Split Half). Data were analysed using the Spearman’s Rank and Multiple Correlation techniques. The results showed that Regularity of Exercise (X1 ) had a correlation coefficient of 0.881 and Diet (X2 ) a correlation coefficient of 0.963 with the Degenerative Disease Incidence (Y). Also, Regularity of Exercise (X1 ) and Diet (X2 ) had a simultaneous relationship with degenerative disease incidence (Y) with a correlation coefficient of 0.966. The results of the Coefficient of Determination (R2 ) test of 0.932 explained the contribution of the influence of the variables Exercise Regularity (X1 ) and Diet (X2 ) to the variable Degenerative Disease Incidence (Y) of 93.2%; which is quite high. Therefore, it is concluded that there is a significant relationship both partially and simultaneously between Exercise Regularity (X1 ) and Diet (X2 ), and the Incidence of Degenerative Diseases (Y) among the residents of Housing Kanjuruhan Asri, Malang City. The purpose of this study was to determine the student’s self concept relationship relationship and emotional intelligence on student’s achievement in eleventh science grade SMA Se-kota Tebingtinggi Academic Year 2016/2017. Questionnaire was used to know the self concept and emotional intelligence, while the learning out comes gotten from student’s biology exam score in last semester document. From the results of the test data requirements known that the relationship of self-concept and emotional intelligence on students achievement, that calculated by testing the coefficient of determination,  percentage of contribution obtained 59,29% for self-concept of students, 54,76% for the emotional intelligence of learning, and 62,4% for the emotional intelligence and self-concept on student biology achievement. From the research, results can be obtained that Ha accepted because there is a significant relationship between self-concept and emotional intelligence on student’s achievement in eleventh science grade SMANegeri Se-kota Tebingtinggi Academic Year 2016/2017.
