The value of local genius have a big role to influence the public’s attitudes andparticipation, in order to create an equal role between men and women in governmentpolicies. Therefore, we need to identify which local genius have an added value, so that thelocal government could put more interest on it when they make the policy (JPJMP). Thisresearch was conducted in two areas in Sumatera Utara, Kabupaten Karo and KabupatenNias Selatan with the qualitative method. The data collection was done by in-depthinterviews with the institution that responsible to implement the responsive gender budget(ARG), community leaders, and traditional leaders. Focused group discussion also done tosynergize the opinion that was founded in the interview. The results of this research wasconcluded that the regional government of Kabupaten Karo and Kabupaten Nias Selatanstill have not identify the local genius that have added value and to be developed intothe policy making of RPJMP.

This study aims to determine the role of community leaders in shaping the personality of adolescents, the efforts made by community leaders, as well as the obstacles faced in the formation of the personality of teenagers in Tanjung Village. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The research background is located in Tanjung Village, District Bathin VIII, Sarolangun District. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviewand documentation. The results of this study indicate that: The role of community leaders in the formation of adolescent personality is good, by olding programs specifically designed for adolescents so that teenagers can follow and can avoid the form of juvenile delinquency, as well as cooperating with parents as people in the first example by his child. Data collection techniques are through informants. The stages in analyzing the data are: reduction, data presentation and conclusion making. Based on the results of this study indicate the state of personality of adolescents is not good, the efforts made by community leaders in shaping the personality of adolescents in entrepreneurship is good, the obstacles faced come from adolescents, teenage parents, youth education, and communication and information technology that makes adolescents difficult to entrepreneurship. In conclusion, community leaders can shape the personality of adolescents in entrepreneurship, but it must be supported by teenagers and teenage parents themselves. His advice to community leaders must never stop making activities that can make teenagers' personality in entrepreneurship better.

This study aims to analyze the form of verbal and nonverbal texts in public service advertisements in the Regional Government of Bone Regency using the semiotics of CS Peirce. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data is sourced from text in the PSA of the Regional Government of Bone. The data collection procedures used in this study are recording and note taking techniques. The results showed that the verbal form of PSA Local Government uses the meaning of denotation and connotation, Bugis philosophical expressions. The nonverbal text forms are dominated by the photo of the head of Regional Government, because the photo has perfect representation ability, compared to other nonverbal elements. Photos of the Bone regent and deputy regent of Bone are as icons and the logo of the local government of Bone is as a symbol. The traditional clothing that is used and the traditional house that is the setting for PSA are as indexes.

Role of posyandu cadres in empowering the community of BintanPurposeThis study aimed to determine the role of posyandu cadres in empowering the community in Kawal village, Gunung Kijang district, Bintan regency.MethodsThis study used a qualitative method with a case study design and purposive sampling technique, with the cadres of posyandu. Data collection was done by in-depth interviews and focus group discussion (FGD), with triangulation of sources and methods.ResultsThe role of cadres are as a health motivator, with the extension officers of the health and medical services as well as cadres being able to identify the needs, barriers and help to coordinate in providing health services.ConclusionPosyandu cadres have high social spirit created by the combination of internal and external motivation, resources and potential as well as experience developing ability, with the social spirit capable of inspiring, activating, stimulating, mobilizing and motivating people.

This study aims to build the new concept of sharia value added. Value added is the main concept of measuring income to find out the performance of an entity. Meanwhile, the sharia value added is the economic, mental and spiritual value added. The kaamilah sharia value added with the Qur'anic morals is a construction of the value added concept. This study used a qualitative method with the type of literature study research, namely research in which data collection was carried out by collecting data from various literatures. The results of this study were the concept of kaamilah sharia value added with the Qur'anic morals, namely economic value added (in the form of money), mental and spiritual value added (in the form of altruistic sense, pleasure, brotherhood sense, justice, truth, honesty and trust, preserves nature, and the sense of God's presence) which is obtained, processed, and distributed in a halal manner and in which morals are attached as a vein in all aspects of life to carry out the mandate and responsibility of the intrinsic owner of property, namely God.

The ceramic industry in Purwakarta is one of the industry icons that continuously decreases competitiveness. To improve the competitiveness of the industry, collaboration between actors or institutions that have roles and functions in the development of the industry is needed. The purpose of study is to analyze the relations among actors or institutions, the factors that influence collaboration among actors and to build collaboration models in the development of ceramic industry in Purwakarta, Indonesia.  This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used interviews and focus group discussion. Data analysis uses interactive model using mactor analysis  The results of study show that relations between actors show that the development of the ceramics industry in Purwakarta is managed independently, not collaboratively. This research suggests that the development of the Purwakarta ceramics industry needs to be done by using a collaboration model with one institution acting as a leading sectorIndustri keramik di Purwakarta adalah salah satu ikon industri yang terus menurunkan daya saing. Untuk meningkatkan daya saing industri, diperlukan kolaborasi antara aktor atau institusi yang memiliki peran dan fungsi dalam pengembangan industri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara aktor atau institusi, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kolaborasi antar aktor dan untuk membangun model kolaborasi dalam pengembangan industri keramik di Purwakarta, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan diskusi kelompok terfokus. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif menggunakan analisis mactor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antar aktor dalam pengembangan industri keramik di Purwakarta dikelola secara parsial-mandiri, bukan secara kolaboratif. Penelitian ini menyarankan dalam pengembangan industri keramik Purwakarta perlu dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan model kolaborasi dengan satu lembaga yang bertindak sebagai leading sector.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe the aspects of pluralism in literature as a portrait of socio-cultural society and to describe the aspects of pluralism as a literary material for character education, in particular, the affirmation of student nationalism. Methodology: This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. Data source are literary works containing pluralism dimensions in poetry, fiction, and drama genres. Data collection through library study techniques and in-depth interviewing and Focus Group Discussion. Data analysis is done by reading the method of the semiotic model including heuristic reading (language level) and hermeneutic reading (interpretation level of meaning). Results: Result of research and discussion are the aspect of pluralism in literature is a portrait of socio-cultural condition of diversity at society and the aspects of pluralism can be stressing as a literary material for character education, especially the affirmation of nationalism of school students. Implications: Thus, pluralism literature is a literature that expresses the notions of diversity that reflect the real portrait of the Indonesian nation.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi dan fenomena sosial budaya secara empirik. Metode yang digunakan adalah survai data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan Fokus Group Discussion (FGD) sumber data adalah pejabat pemerintah, tokoh adat, tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, dan para pemuda di Provinsi NTT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gatra sosial budaya dapat memperkuat ketahanan nasional masyarakat NTT untuk berpacu bersama daerah lainnya di Indonesia. Di propinsi NTT, gatra “Sosial Budaya” termasuk kategori cukup tangguh, gatra “Kerukunan Sosial” dan “Perilaku Sosial” sangat tangguh, gatra “Pendidikan” dan “Kesehatan” termasuk dalam kategori kurang tangguh, “Penya-kit Sosial” dan “Ketertiban Sosial” termasuk dalam kategori tangguh, Indikator “Keluarga” dan “Pemberdayaan Perem-puan” dalam kategori cukup tangguh.Kata kunci: Pengukuran, Gatra Sosial Budaya, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT)______________________________________________________________ MEASUREMENT OF SOCIOCULTURAL DIMENSIONS IN THE PROVINCE OF EAST NUSA TENGGARAAbstract This study aimed to investigate socioclutural conditions and phenomena empirically. The data sources included government officials, traditional leaders, religious figures, community leaders, and youth in the Province of East Nusa Tenggara (ENT). The findings show that sociocultural dimensions are capable of strengthening the national endurance of the ENT society to go along together with other provinces in Indonesia. In the province of ENT, the sociocultural dimensions are moderately strong, the dimensions of social cohesion and behaviors are very strong, the dimensions of education and health are not strong, the dimensions of social pathology and order are strong, and the indicators of family and women’s empowerment are moderately strong.Keywords:  measurement, sociocultural dimensions, East Nusa Tenggara (ENT) SimakBaca secara fonetik

Availability and understanding about the importance of spatial data, especially Village Maps, forrural communities are still minimum. Ngargosari Village, a village in Samigaluh District, KulonProgo Regency, was almost never used spatial data or maps to support the development.Whereas, UU 6 of 2014 concerning Villages states that Village Maps are the basis of informationand support systems in policy making. Village Map is a basic thematic map that containselements and information such as regional boundaries, roads/ infrastructure, topography,waters, facilities, and land use, which were presented in image maps, maps of facilities andinfrastructure, as well as land cover maps and land use (Perka BIG No. 3 in 2016 concerningTechnical Specifications for Presentation of Village Maps). Therefore, this community serviceaims to emphasize an understanding of the importance of Geospatial Information. Thecommunity is involved in making Village Maps through participatory mapping. The methods thatwere used are a remote sensing approach, field survey, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD)involving the Village Head, Village Officials, Hamlet Heads and Community Leaders. The resultsof this service are in the form of a map of the image of the Ngargosari Village which containsinformations about the boundaries of the village administration and hamlets, and also regionalfacilities and infrastructure.

This research was carried out on the basis that none of the people in this world, both simple and advanced who do not have a religion, even though they understand the religion in the simplest sense. The Akit Tribe is one of the Remote Indigenous Communities (KAT) that still survive in Riau Province. These people have interacted and interacted with other communities and their lives were no longer isolated. Thus, their culture has come into contact with the culture of other communities, including in religious life. Based on this phenomenon, this study was conducted to see their religious life after interacting and touching other cultures. This research is a descriptive study using qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used are in-depth interviews and observations. The informants of this research are the chiefs, traditional leaders, community leaders, religious leaders, and formal leaders. The results of this study indicate that the process of contact with other cultures slowly leads to changes in the culture of the Akit tribe, including in matters of religion. Nevertheless, formally they have embraced certain formal religions, but in practice they still retain their old beliefs and traditions. Thus, in religious life, the Akit Tribe people practice syncretism.

Budaya merupakan cipta, rasa dan karsa manusia atau, dapat diartikan dengan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan budi atau akal. Hasil akal atau pemikiran, cipta dan karya manusia merupakan suatu wujud kebudayaan yang selalu berkembang dalam masyarakat, yang dimana pemikiran, perbuatan atau tindakan-tindakan yang dilakukan oleh manusia secara terus-menerus pada akhirnyaakan melahirkan sebuah tradisi. Tradisi Paru Udu memiliki nilai yang berbeda dengan tradisi dengan daerah lainnya yang ada di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan tradisi Paru Udu dalam ritual Joka Ju di Desa Mbuliwaralau, dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalam pelaksanaan tradisi Paru Udu dalam ritual Joka Ju. Subyek penelitian yaitu ketua adat, tokoh adat dan tokoh masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif bersifat deskriptif dengan melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tradisi tersebut mengandung nilai sosial, nilai budaya, dan nilai ekonomi. Nilai social meliputi nilai material nilai vital dan nilai rohani. Nilai rohani meliputi nilai religius dan nilai moral yang didalamnya terdapat nilai kerukunan, nilai musyawarah, nilai kebersamaan dan nilai gotong-royong. Culture is human creativity, taste and intention or, can be interpreted with matters relating to reason or reason. The results of reason or thought, human creativity and work is a form of culture that is always developing in society, where thoughts, actions or actions carried out by humans continuously will eventually give birth to a tradition. The Paru Udu tradition has a different value from the tradition with other regions in Indonesia. The research objective is to determine the implementation of the Paru Udu tradition in the Joka Ju ritual in Mbuliwaralau Village, and the values contained in the implementation of the Paru Udu tradition in the Joka Ju ritual. The subjects of the study were the traditional leaders, traditional leaders and community leaders. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis uses descriptive qualitative analysis methods by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the tradition contained social values, cultural values, and economic values. Social values include material values, vital values and spiritual values. Spiritual values include religious values and moral values in which there are values of harmony, values of deliberation, values of togetherness and values of mutual cooperation..
