This correlational research aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence, independent learning and learning creativity with the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Blahbatuh. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires and tests. The sample used is a number of 80 people who are determined by the cluter random sampling technique. Hypothesis test used is simple and multiple regression with a significance level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 46%. There is a significant relationship between independent learning and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 39%. There is a significant relationship between creativity and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 64%. There is an influence between emotional intelligence, independent learning and learning creativity with mathematics learning outcomes of students with a relative contribution of 62%.

Learning without students’ center tends to create less passionate students in following the lecture. They tend to ignore their lecturer. They have less attention, and try to create ineffective conditions, therefore, the learning atmosphere will become less effective to achieve the intended goals.  The purpose of the research is to determine the process of learning, the implementation of High Touch approach, and factors that influence its implementation. Classroom action research approach was used at  department of mathematics which involve students who enroll at academic year 2016/2017 IAIN Bukittinggi. The research was done in two cycles in which one cycle conducted three meetings. The instruments used were observation, essay questions, and tasks given to students. The results show that there is an improvement in students’ participation and activeness in learning when their lecturer builds learning experience through reinforcement, affection, guide, directive action, and good modeling by student–center andself-learning activities, and independent learning skill orientations showed in cycle I and II. It implies that implementing high touch may lead students to be more active, creative, and fun in learning.

The independence of student learning in recent years was discussed in several articles. Through the development of an independent attitude in learning, students can diagnose learning difficulties and find the right solution to solve them. This study was aimed at finding out how the influence of learning independence on students' accounting learning outcomes. The type of research used is ex-post facto quantitative research. The population of the research is all students of class XI of Public Middle School in the city of Yogyakarta, with a total of 156 students. The instruments used were questionnaires and multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Validity and reliability of the questionnaire were measured using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) through the Lisrel 8.80 application, while the validity and reliability of MCQs were measured using Rasch approach through the Quest application. Several questionnaires in the form of questionnaires and documentation were used on the testing instrument. The number of instruments for learning independence was 19 statements. The closed statement form used a Likert scale consisting of five alternative answers. The number of MCQs is 18 questions. There were 18 valid statements found after going through the calculation of validation, reliability, difficulty level of the question, and distinguishing power. Simple regression was used for the data analysis technique. The results of the study show that the learning independence variable has a significant and positive influence. It can be seen from the learning independence variable, which has a value of 2.187 and a significance value smaller than 0.05 (0.030 <0.05).

Abstract Background: Medical terminology is usually difficult for students to memorize such long and unfamiliar sound words. It really makes challenging for healthcare students. Ordinarily, there’re a variety of ways to learn medical terminology such as memorizing root words or making flashcards. However, students often get half the results with double the effort. Methods: In order to help students learn medical terminology more easily and interestingly, an online chatbot, Termbot, has been produced in this research that aims to provide learners with an interesting method to enhance their medical terminology by using Termbot on the online platform ©LINE at any time. Compared to traditional independent learning with online interactive learning, the Termbot is a great tool for students in memorizing English medical terminology by playing the Termbot online crossword puzzles. In this study, the experimental method is used to check whether Termbot affects students’ academic performance in learning medical terminology. Also, the experimental samples are divided into the experimental group and the control group. As the name implies, the experimental group is the group that accepts experimental operations, while the control group does not accept any experimental operations so that the researcher could compare the differences between the two groups to show the results of the experimental operations.Results: The interaction between students and Termbot via Line, students can use the online crossword puzzles provided by Termbot to help improve their learning of medical terminology. The experimental result in this study has shown that students trained with Termbot have made significant progress in learning such long medical term words. In addition, the result has also shown that the online Termbot has the potential to improve the learning process and learning outcomes.Conclusions: As students change their learning behaviors, the use of Termbot has improved their learning effectiveness, which clearly proves that it is a very useful learning tool. Without a doubt, Termbot is not only a great help for students’ learning medical terminology but can also be used to assist word learning in other fields.Trial registration: Not applicable.

The focus of this study is the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by hypermedia-based e-books on the results of integral calculus learning. The objectives of the study are (1) to describe the students’ learning outcomes of integral calculus which are taught through problem-based learning model with the help of a hypermedia-based e-book, and (2) to find out the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model with the help of a Hypermedia-Based e-book on integral calculus learning outcomes. This research employed an experiment with a posttest only control design. The study population was all students from the Department of Mathematics Education, Halu Oleo University in the 2017-2018 academic year. The study sample consisted of 60 students distributed equally in two classes namely the experimental class (30) and the control class (30). The Problem Based Learning model with the help of a hypermedia-based e-book was applied in the experimental class while the traditional learning model with the help of printed teaching materials was applied in the control class. The PBL learning model steps consist of (1) presenting contextual problems, (2) forming cooperative groups, (3) analyzing problems cooperatively, (4) presenting the results of group discussions, (5) reflections. Data were collected using the test of integral calculus learning. Then the data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The descriptive analysis included the mean value, variance, and standard deviation, while the inferential analysis included the data normality test, the data homogeneity test, and the average difference test. The results showed that the students' integral calculus learning outcomes taught with Problem Based Learning model was categorized well, and the PBL learning model effectively improved the integral calculus learning outcomes.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi model pembelajaran mandiri program pendidikan kecakapan hidup perempuan di PKBM Bina Cipta Ujungberung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun lokasi penelitian dipilih dilaksanakan di PKBM Bina Cipta Ujungberung Kota Bandung. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) proses pembelajaran model pembelajaran mandiri pada program kecakapan hidup perempuan, meliputi kegiatan perencanaan mencakup kegiatan menentukan tujuan, menetukan instruktur, mengalokasikan waktu, merekrut peserta, menyusun kurikulum, menyusun materi, menentukan sumber belajar, menyiapkan saran dan prasarana, menyusun pembiayaan, kegiatan pelaksanaan mencakup kegiatan pengelolaan kelas dan peserta didik, pengelolaan instruktur, mennetukan metode dan media pembelajaran; kegiatan evaluasi mencakup evaluasi hasil belajar dan evaluasi proses pembelajaran. The location of the research been conducted at CLC Bina Cipta Ujungberung Bandung, The results of this study are: (1 ) learning model of independent learning in life skills programs women, includes planning includes activities set goals, determine the instructor, allocate time, recruiting participants, develop curricula, organizing material, to determine the source of learning, to prepare suggestions and improvements, arrange financing, implementation activities include classroom management activities and learners, instructors management, menentukan methods and learning media; evaluation activities include evaluation of learning outcomes and learning process evaluation. Teachers do not apply interesting learning models that can stimulate students in learning. In addition, the lack of learning media that can facilitate students in learning has an impact on students' low science learning outcomes. This study aims to develop a learning video about Animal Movement Organs to improve students' understanding in learning. This type of research is development research. The model used to develop the product is ADDIE. Techniques that collect data are interviews and questionnaires. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The subjects of this study amounted to 4 experts. The analysis technique in this research is descriptive qualitative statistical analysis and descriptive quantitative. The results of the research are the test results from the content experts of the developed media subjects get a value of 4.71 (very good), the test results from the learning media experts get a value of 4.75 (very good) and the results of the validity test of the developed media teachers get a value of 4 .83 (very good). It can be concluded that the learning video media regarding animal movement organs based on video scribe is feasible to be applied in learning. The implication of this research is that the developed media can make it easier for students to understand the material of animal movement organs and can facilitate students in independent learning.

This study aims to study the influence of learning environment, learning motivation and learning independence of the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA SMAN 9 Pangkep. This type of research is ex-post facto research. The sample in this study was class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 with a total of 69 students. The results showed that the partial way is positive and significant influence of learning environment on the learning outcomes about 14%, positive and significant influence learning motivation towards the mathematics learning outcomes about 34% and learning independence had a positive effect and significant to the learning outcomes about 32%. Meanwhile, learning environment, learning motivation and learning independence had positive and significant impacts together on the mathematics learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA of SMAN 9 Pangkep with a coefficient of determination R2 = 0.50 that supports environmental learning, motivation learning and independent learning supports 50% of the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA at SMAN 9 Pangkep.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan belajar, motivasi belajar dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Pangkep. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 dengan jumlah total 69 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial lingkungan belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 14%, motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 34% dan kemandirian belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 32%. Sedangkan secara simultan lingkungan belajar, motivasi belajar dan kemandirian belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Pangkep dengan koefisien determinasi R2 = 0,50 yang berarti lingkungan belajar, motivasi belajar dan kemandirian belajar memberi pengaruh sebesar 50% terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Pangkep.

Much of the popularity of the medium is derived from its capacity to convey large amounts of information to learners in structured and associated ways which promote student centred and independent learning. Recent developments in multimedia technologies and software, and enhanced networking facilities through the Internet, have led to new and exciting opportunities for hypermedia systems development. This paper provides an overview of the potential of hypermedia as an instructional medium and discusses research that has investigated learning outcomes. It provides an overview of instructional design considerations to guide developers and designers of hypermedia systems.</span>
