<span>The use of hypermedia as an instructional medium is growing rapidly with developments and enhancements in instructional and computing technologies. Much of the popularity of the medium is derived from its capacity to convey large amounts of information to learners in structured and associated ways which promote student centred and independent learning. Recent developments in multimedia technologies and software, and enhanced networking facilities through the Internet, have led to new and exciting opportunities for hypermedia systems development. This paper provides an overview of the potential of hypermedia as an instructional medium and discusses research that has investigated learning outcomes. It provides an overview of instructional design considerations to guide developers and designers of hypermedia systems.</span>

This article discusses ongoing cultural challenges faced by distance education providers seeking to deliver programs of study transnationally. Focusing on a key period of distance education during the late twentieth century, this discussion begins by tracing the impact of global economic and technological developments, such as the growth of megauniversity enrolments, privately owned education providers and the Internet. The 1990s saw intense interest in the use of Internet-based applications for distance learning and the subsequent arrival of important new actors in this marketplace, such as Blackboard and WebCT. The author then examines some of the key cultural challenges arising from this convergence of economic, educational and technological dimensions of globalisation, such as the problematic use of models of independent learning in distance delivery. Turning to future trends, three recent developments in the Internet pose significant challenges to these markets and approaches: open courseware and other initiatives seeking to provide open access to educational resources; the diffusion of user-generated applications, tools and environments; and the fragmentation of online information sources. These trends invite education providers to reflect on the cultural dimensions of distance education. It is argued that while new approaches to e-learning present new opportunities to enhance distance learning, certain key lessons from the 1990s should continue to inform the contemporary development of distance education.

In the background backs Indonesian learning results obtained by the students is very low because the method of learning that are not relevant. Classroom action research aims to determine the implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) to improve learning outcomes Indonesian grade IV A SD Negeri 78 Pekanbaru on instructional materials do. The experiment was conducted in two cycles each cycle two meetings and one daily tests. Each cycle stages are: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data from the activity of teachers and students in the can from the observation sheet, while, learning outcomes in getting the daily test results. The results showed the activities of teachers and students has increased, in the first cycle of meetings I obtained a score of 33 (68.75%), in the first cycle of meetings II obtained a score of 38 (79.17%), the second cycle of meetings I obtained a score of 40 (83 , 33%), and the second cycle II meeting obtained a score of 44 (91.67%). And in the first cycle of the first meeting of student activity data obtained a score of 27 (56.25%), in the first cycle II meeting increased with the acquisition of a score of 36 (75.00%), and the second cycle first meeting increased to 41 (85.42 %), the second cycle II meeting increased to 45 (93.75%). Learning outcomes of students has increased, this is evidenced by: the preliminary data the number of students who reach KKM amounted to 10 students (28.57%) with an average of learning outcomes at 65.37. Increased in the first cycle by the number of students who completed totaling 26 students (74.28%) with an average of learning outcomes at 76.00. And the second cycle increases with the number of students 32 students (91.42%) with an average of learning outcomes at 86.86. Based on these results it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model NHT can improve learning outcomes Indonesian grade IV A SD Negeri 78 Pekanbaru.

The creation of library intranet pages providing a range of search tools and the teaching of customised information literacy lessons aim to better utilise library resources and improve students’ research skills and learning outcomes.

This correlational research aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence, independent learning and learning creativity with the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Blahbatuh. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires and tests. The sample used is a number of 80 people who are determined by the cluter random sampling technique. Hypothesis test used is simple and multiple regression with a significance level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 46%. There is a significant relationship between independent learning and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 39%. There is a significant relationship between creativity and mathematics learning outcomes, the relative contribution is 64%. There is an influence between emotional intelligence, independent learning and learning creativity with mathematics learning outcomes of students with a relative contribution of 62%.

Learning without students’ center tends to create less passionate students in following the lecture. They tend to ignore their lecturer. They have less attention, and try to create ineffective conditions, therefore, the learning atmosphere will become less effective to achieve the intended goals.  The purpose of the research is to determine the process of learning, the implementation of High Touch approach, and factors that influence its implementation. Classroom action research approach was used at  department of mathematics which involve students who enroll at academic year 2016/2017 IAIN Bukittinggi. The research was done in two cycles in which one cycle conducted three meetings. The instruments used were observation, essay questions, and tasks given to students. The results show that there is an improvement in students’ participation and activeness in learning when their lecturer builds learning experience through reinforcement, affection, guide, directive action, and good modeling by student–center andself-learning activities, and independent learning skill orientations showed in cycle I and II. It implies that implementing high touch may lead students to be more active, creative, and fun in learning.

TRAINING OF RESOURCE LITERACY AND LEARNING MATERIALS ON THE INTERNET FOR PAUD TEACHERS IN NGAGLIK DISTRICT, SLEMAN. Learning media and resources are parts of Early Childhood Education instructional design. Nowadays, learning media and resources include not only natural environment but also cyber space in internet. However, some Early Childhood Education teachers are not aware of the potential of using these learning media and resources in their teaching practice. Therefore, an in-house training of learning media and resources literacy was designed for Early Childhood Education teachers in District of Ngaglik, Sleman Regency. This training was attended by Rumah Anak Pintar Islami and Smart Child Al-Mubarok Pre-Schools. The outcome of the training was better understanding on learning media and resources in the internet which the teachers can use in their teaching practice.

This study aims to develop a learning model by using web-based moodle e-learning videos to support student learning outcomes in Computer subject. This research is motivated by the development of technology increasing rapidly, the demand for efficiency is increasing. Video e-learning media is a very good breakthrough, and demands for modernization in the world of education. The research method in this study was conducted using the R and D method. The study began with preparing teaching materials that were previously used, preparing teaching materials from the latest sources, collaborating old teaching materials with new teaching materials, reviewing instructional materials that have been compiled, refining materials teach according to directions, make video tutorials based on teaching materials, tutorial videos that have been uploaded to youtube, video links that have been uploaded on youtube are combined with e learning, the final step is done by perfecting the web-based e learning video teaching material by doing several test times , evaluating, and correcting as needed.  Keywords: learning models, video learning, moodle e-learning

This study aims to determine: (1) the feasibility of interactive learning media based on Adobe Flash CS6; (2) differences in motivation and learning outcomes using interactive learning media based on Adobe Flash CS6 and using chemistry learning media on the internet; (3) the influence of motivation on learning outcomes. This study uses R&D ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) method. The population was all students of second grade at SMA Negeri 1 Padangsidimpuan. The samples were taken by using purposive sampling, there were 60 students from two classes at the second grade. The data collection instruments were tests and questionnaires. The results: (1) the feasibility of interactive learning media based on Adobe Flash CS6 shows the mean is 4.5, which is very suitable to use; (2) motivation and learning outcomes using interactive learning media based on Adobe Flash CS6 shows 94.7% and 87.17 which is higher than the motivation and learning outcomes using chemistry learning media on the internet, namely 88.5% and 79.67; (3) the effect of learning motivation in learning outcomes using interactive learning media based on Adobe Flash CS6 is 18.6%. The results of this study is used as an input for teachers and prospective teachers in using interactive learning media to create fun learning and increase motivation that will have an impact on learning outcomes.

In the era of Industry 4.0, the Internet-of-Things (IoT) performs the driving position analogous to the initial industrial metamorphosis. IoT affords the potential to couple machine-to-machine intercommunication and real-time information-gathering within the industry domain. Hence, the enactment of IoT in the industry magnifies effective optimization, authority, and data-driven judgment. However, this field undergoes several interoperable issues, including large numbers of heterogeneous IoT gadgets, tools, software, sensing, and processing components, joining through the Internet, despite the deficiency of communication protocols and standards. Recently, various interoperable protocols, platforms, standards, and technologies are enhanced and altered according to the specifications of the applicability in industrial applications. However, there are no recent survey papers that primarily examine various interoperability issues that Industrial IoT (IIoT) faces. In this review, we investigate the conventional and recent developments of relevant state-of-the-art IIoT technologies, frameworks, and solutions for facilitating interoperability between different IIoT components. We also discuss several interoperable IIoT standards, protocols, and models for digitizing the industrial revolution. Finally, we conclude this survey with an inherent discussion of open challenges and directions for future research.
