Inpatient  Malnutrition rates are quite high and distributed in almost all hospitals for all types of diseases and socio-economic sufferers. This study aims to examine the nutritional status, total patient intake, and factors that influence the total intake of newly hospitalized patients at Muhammadiyah Lamongan Hospital. The study was conducted from November to December 2019 in the internal, surgical, and Obgyn departments of the Muhammadiyah Lamongan Hospital. A total of 80 patients were selected as samples using the accidental sampling technique. The results showed that 87.5% of patients were hospitalized due to non-communicable diseases such as diabetes mellitus, acute and chronic kidney failure, cirrhosis, acute myocardial infark, and others. Only 12.5% are treated for infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, meningitis, diarrhea, and others. Calculation of BMI in patients shows that 10% of patients are obese, 30% are overweight, 50% are normal and 10% are malnourished. 24-hour recall results showed that 100% of patients could not meet energy and nutrient requirements (<80% of energy and nutrient demand figures). The average patient is only able to meet 24% of energy, 17% protein, 24% carbohydrates, and 18% fat. As many as 35% of patients complained of nausea and 22.5% of them were accompanied by vomiting. The number of patients said that decreased appetite because abdominal pain (35%), 25% patients experienced shortness of breath. Many patients complained that their bodies were weak / without strength (95%). Appetite also decreased due to difficulty chewing (17.5%) and difficulty swallowing (22.5%). Physical conditions like weakness accompanied by other eating disorders can be the cause of the patient's decreased food intake. This has led to a decrease in nutritional status in patients due to inadequate energy and nutrient need (especially those who have to go through a long period of hospitalization).

The frequency of celiac disease (CD) has increased along time, with relevant changes reported in geographical variations, clinical presentation and nutritional repercussions. In recent years, some celiac patients are presenting overweight/obesity, but it is unclear how frequent this is and to what extent undernutrition remains a concern. This is relevant because CD tends to be overlooked in overweight patients. With this in mind, we assessed age at diagnosis, clinical characteristics and nutritional status of 155 celiac patients diagnosed between 1994–2017 in four pediatric hospitals in Santiago, Chile. Since 2003, the number of patients diagnosed has increased (p < 0.0033), coinciding with antitransglutaminase and antiendomysial antibodies becoming available to public health systems. In 2000, 4.5% of patients were asymptomatic at diagnosis, suggesting that active search is not routinely applied. Gastrointestinal symptoms plus failure to thrive were significantly more frequent under 2 years (p = 0.0001). Nutritional status has improved at diagnosis and during follow up, but undernutrition remains more frequent in children <2 and <5 years (p < 0.002 and p < 0.0036, respectively). Overweight at diagnosis was reported in 2002 and obesity in 2010. After initiating treatment, since 2010, patients changing from undernourishment to overweight has sometimes been observed after only 6 months on a gluten-free diet.

Stunting in Indonesia was the fifth ranks in the world, influenced by many factors, some of which are the height of the parents and the nutritional status of the mother during pregnancy. The purpose of this research was to determine the correlation of parent height characteristics and maternal nutritional status during pregnancy based on Upper Arm Circumference (UAC) with stunting incidence in toddlers aged 24-59 months in the working area of the Berbek Public Health Center Nganjuk Regency. The research design used correlation analytic research design with observational method with case control approach. The independent variables consisted of parental height characteristics and maternal nutritional status during pregnancy based on UAC, and the dependent variable was stunting incidence. The population was 2266 respondents of under-five children aged 24-59 months. The sampling technique used quota sampling consisted 96 respondents. This research was conducted from 22 July to 22 August 2019 in three selected villages namely Sumberurip, Sumberwindu and Semare villages. Data analysis used chi-square test α (0.05). The results showed that almost all mothers and fathers had normal height characteristics, almost all respondents had the nutritional status of the mother during normal pregnancy. Analysis of height, circumference of the mother, and nutritional status of the mother during pregnancy based on Upper Arm Circumference (UAC) was obtained ρ value = 0.036; 0,000 and 0,000 <α 0,05. It meant that there was a correlation between parental height characteristics and maternal nutritional status during pregnancy based on Upper Arm Circumference (UAC) with the incidence of stunting in children aged 24-59 months in the Berbek Public Health Center Nganjuk Regency Parental height and nutritional status of the mother during normal pregnancy, it will have the opportunity to have a child with good growth.

In health service, nurses are at the forefront of providing health care, if the nurses don’t provide the care and not accompanied by EPEEP implementation (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) it will have an impact on decreasing client satisfaction. From the results of the preliminary survey the nurses have not done EPEEP implementation method (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) properly. And the achievement of patient satisfaction in the pandoria room of Awal Bros Batam Hospital from the results of satisfaction survey in September 2018, very satisfied category was 46%, satisfied category was 54% and less satisfied category was 2%. Therefore , it is necessary to implement EPEEP (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) in providing services to clients. This study aimed to determine the Relation between EPEEP Implementation Methods (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) With Patient Satisfaction at Pandoria Inpatient Awa Bros Batam in 2019. This type of research was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach, 129 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained by observation sheets on nurses about EPEEP implementation (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) and provide satisfaction questionnaires to clients. The study was conducted in February until March 2019 in the Pandoria room. Analysis of the data used Chi square. There was a relationship between EPEEP implementation method (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) with patient satisfaction and with nurses inpatient at Pandoria Awal Bros Batam Hospital, and the p-value was 0.00 (p <0.05). It can be concluded that the implementation of EPEEP (Explain, Pain, Elimination, Environment and Plan Of Return) can affect client satisfaction. Suggestions for future researchers can conduct research related to how long the nurse responds if there are patients who call or press the bell (Patient Calls) and for the Home Pain as an input to perform research related to nurse daily activity, because Pandoria Room compared to other inpatient rooms was the room with the highest number of patients and the highest mobile patients.
