One of the people who have the right to receive the zakâh mentioned in the eight aṣnâf is fî sabîlillah (people who are in a jihâd). Jihâd and all the means relating to it are the initial meaning agreed upon by most of ulama. The term fî sabîlillâh has been understood further in the context of the construction of places of worship and Islamic centers. This meaning expansion the term fî sabīlillah certainly needs to be seen in relation to maqâṣid al-syarî‘ah, especially in relation to ‘illat as one of the main instruments of maqâṣid al-syarî‘ah. The discussion by using ‘illat concluded that the development of the meaning of fî sabîlillâh to other than jihâd is permissible as long as it is intended to help individuals who struggle for the sake of the establishment of religion by financing their activities. Furthermore, this meaning is more in line with maqâṣid al-syarî‘ah.

The aim of this study was to examine how the transfer of the affairs of disabled people from the state to the municipalities had proceeded. The process of the transfer was examined and then the largest municipality, Reykjavík, was chosen for a closer examination on the policy and implementation concerning services for disabled people. A qualitative study was conducted in the autumn of 2012. Eight interviews were taken with key professionals who had been involved directly in the transfer or worked on the affairs of disabled people before or after the transfer. A specialist in the affairs of disabled people was interviewed at the Ministry of Welfare and at the Association of Local Authorities in Iceland. Furthermore, a key professional was interviewed in each of the six municipal services in Reykjavík. The interviewees believed that having decided on and gone through with the transfer was the right thing to do. They believed that services closer to the people who need it would be a better choice. The person that uses the services only needs to go to one place in order to receive it, instead of two as before. However, the interviewees had not seen a considerable improvement in the services as expected. A considerable additional funds are needed for the affair. The transition from the state to the municipalities was not sufficiently prepared. The affairs of disabled people requires a lot of interdisciplinary work as well, which the interviewees thought was proceeding well.

The Indonesian Constitution has mandated health services for its people. Everyone has the right to receive health services, while the state is obliged to provide health services. The implementation of public health services faces problems concerning the president regulations about the increase of health insurance fee. The House of Representatives does not agree with the increase in health insurance fee, because the government should be responsible for the realization of public health services. This research uses normative legal research methods. The results showed that the government's policy of raising fees was considered unfair and burdensome to the people of Indonesia.Health services for the people of Indonesia has been mandated by The Indonesian Constitution. The denial of health services is a violation to the Indonesian constitution. The people have the right to get health services, whereas the state is responsible for providing health services. Therefore, even though the government raises fees, people expect the government to cancel the increase of the fee. Abstraction           :            In just a decade, the truth that actually becomes a pillar in a life together turned out to be a lot of coloured falsehood and lies. The practice of manipulating the truth is rife because humans are in the post-truth era, an era where people are busy hiding the truth without making them feel dishonest. This situation is supported by the emergence of digital media which produces a lot of lies without going through the verification process. The claim of truth has been displaced by ‘believability’ and the institutionalization of lies is deliberately carried out to manipulate the truth. As a result the real news is a lie accepted as truth. And conversely the news that actually needs to be accepted as truth is considered a lie. This certainly brings harm to the people who should have the right to receive true news. In this situation, media literacy needs to be done so that people are responsible for promoting and spreading the right news based on the virtue of honesty. It requires hardwork and commitment, not just embrace the right for everyone to speak, but also to hear and listen, to discern which is the truth as best we can, not just for our present, but it will be very valuable for our future.

The influence of globalization that occurs today has made information and communication technology became something very important for society because it presents a world without boundaries, distance, space, and time. This has made changes to the lifestyles of the people as well as changed the social, economic, cultural, security, and law enforcement. This research was conducted with the aim of describing the rights and obligations of the parties in an Instagram trade agreement and the legal consequences of negligence on an Instagram trade agreement. This research was conducted using normative legal research methods. The results of this study showed that the rights and obligations of the parties to the engagement on Instagram are regulated in the PK Law. Consumers and business actors have their respective rights and obligations. In addition, the legal consequences for a debtor/party who has the obligation to perform in the engagement but has committed negligence, namely: he must pay compensation suffered by the creditor/party who has the right to receive achievement (vide Article 1243 of the Civil Code); he must accept the decision of the engagement accompanied by payment of compensation (vide Article 1267 of the Civil Code); he must accept the transfer of risk from the moment of failure (vide Article 1237 paragraph (2) of the Civil Code); and he must pay court fees if litigated in court (vide Article 181 paragraph (1) HIR).

As reproduction by surrogacy increases, the problems arising from surrogacy contracts also increase. Countries around the world are being asked to solve never-before-seen legal problems arising from surrogacy agreements. When trying to solve the newly arisen problems, the rights of the child born from the surrogacy contract tend to be overlooked. Enacted laws try to solve the enforceability of the contract and protect the rights of the parties involved— such as, who are the legal parents of the child if both sides of the agreement wish to keep the child. However, few of these laws address a situation where the opposite is true, a situation in which neither side wants to keep the child. In these situations, the primary focus should be the rights of the child, not the rights of the people involved in the contract. The law should be up to date and ready to protect the well-being of the child—a person who never asked to be born. Specifically, rights such as the citizenship of the child, the right to financial support, the right to inherit, and the right to identity should be protected. The Comment discusses how prepared U.S. and Texas law is to handle problems arising from a surrogacy contract in which neither side wants to keep the child. In this case, a child with intended American parents should have the right to be a U.S. citizen, the right to receive financial support from a party involved in the contract, the right to inherit, and the right to know his or her identity. These problems may not be currently present, but with the increase of surrogacy use, it surely could be an issue in the future.

SummaryFor assessment of differential renal function (PF) by means of static renal scintigraphy with Tc-99m-dimer-captosuccinic acid (DMSA) the calculation of the geometric mean of counts from the anterior and posterior view is recommended. Aim of this retrospective study was to find out, if the anterior view is necessary to receive an accurate differential renal function by calculating the geometric mean compared to calculating PF using the counts of the posterior view only. Methods: 164 DMSA-scans of 151 children (86 f, 65 m) aged 16 d to 16 a (4.7 ± 3.9 a) were reviewed. The scans were performed using a dual head gamma camera (Picker Prism 2000 XP, low energy ultra high resolution collimator, matrix 256 x 256,300 kcts/view, Zoom: 1.6-2.0). Background corrected values from both kidneys anterior and posterior were obtained. Using region of interest technique PF was calculated using the counts of the dorsal view and compared with the calculated geometric mean [SQR(Ctsdors x Ctsventr]. Results: The differential function of the right kidney was significantly less when compared to the calculation of the geometric mean (p<0.01). The mean difference between the PFgeom and the PFdors was 1.5 ± 1.4%. A difference > 5% (5.0-9.5%) was obtained in only 6/164 scans (3.7%). Three of 6 patients presented with an underestimated PFdors due to dystopic kidneys on the left side in 2 patients and on the right side in one patient. The other 3 patients with a difference >5% did not show any renal abnormality. Conclusion: The calculation of the PF from the posterior view only will give an underestimated value of the right kidney compared to the calculation of the geometric mean. This effect is not relevant for the calculation of the differntial renal function in orthotopic kidneys, so that in these cases the anterior view is not necesssary. However, geometric mean calculation to obtain reliable values for differential renal function should be applied in cases with an obvious anatomical abnormality.

This research article focuses on the theme of violence and its representation by the characters of the novel “This Savage Song” by Victoria Schwab. How violence is transmitted through genes to next generations and to what extent socio- psycho factors are involved in it, has also been discussed. Similarly, in what manner violent events and deeds by the parents affect the psychology of children and how it inculcates aggressive behaviour in their minds has been studied. What role is played by the parents in grooming the personality of children and ultimately their decisions to choose the right or wrong way has been argued. In the light of the theory of Judith Harris, this research paper highlights all the phenomena involved: How the social hierarchy controls the behaviour. In addition, the aggressive approach of the people in their lives has been analyzed in the light of the study of second theorist Thomas W Blume. As the novel is a unique representation of supernatural characters, the monsters, which are the products of some cruel deeds, this research paper brings out different dimensions of human sufferings with respect to these supernatural beings. Moreover, the researcher also discusses that, in what manner the curse of violence creates an inevitable vicious cycle of cruel monsters that makes the life of the characters turbulent and miserable.
