This study aims to describe the leadership style of madrasah heads in improving management ethics in MAN 1 Jambi City. This study uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques using observations, interviews, and documentation. The results found that in improving management ethics in madrasah, the principal adhered to a democratic leadership style. The application of democratic leadership to establish management ethics goes well, resulting in positive values such as values of service orientation, integrity, commitment, discipline, cooperation and all actions based on ethical criteria, namely in terms of benefits, the fulfillment of rights, the justice side, and the maintenance side. There are three values of management ethics obtained, namely personal value as an ethical standard, terminal value (purpose); and instrumental value.

This study discusses the Leadership Style in Improving Management Ethics at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jambi City. This research uses qualitative research. The methods used in data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation. The author found that the leadership style in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jambi City was a Democratic Leadership Style. Management Ethics at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jambi City is also running well, this can be seen from its terminal value, namely vision, and its instrumental value, namely mission and always applying positive values such as service orientation, integrity, commitment, discipline, and cooperation. With the existence of a Democratic Leadership Style, Management Ethics will automatically be good so that the vision and mission of the madrasah will be achieved effectively and efficiently. The results of this paper suggest that the head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jambi City continues to strive and maintain a Democratic Leadership Style and teachers and administrative staff to always apply service-oriented values, integrity, commitment, discipline and work together in achieving the vision and mission and the destination of MAN 1 Jambi City.

Abstract This study aims to analyze and illustrate the leadership role of the madrasa head in improving teacher performance in MIS Asy Syarifiyah, Cikampek District, Karawang Regency. The study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection is done by using methods a) observation, b) interviews and c) documentation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the headmaster of the madrasa uses a democratic leadership style and has performed its role as a madrasa leader in improving teacher performance by making plans and implementation through coaching and development. So that between leadership and planning styles as well as the implementation of the headmaster has a causal relationship or cause and effect that makes the teacher as a professional educator to realize the objectives of the madrasah better. Introduction. This study aims to find out about the leadership style of the Head of the Library at Special Library of Dinas Pendidikan Kota Yogyakarta.. Data Collection Methods. Descriptive qualitative type of research in which data are collected through interviews and documentationData Analysis. The theory used is a leadership style based on Ralph White and Ronald Lippit, namely autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire. For the analysis knife, four types of objects of observation are used, namely communication, supervision, direction and decision making.Results and Discussion. Leadership style applied by the Head of the Library at Special Library of Dinas Pendidikan Kota Yogyakarta is democratic. This conclusion is drawn after looking at 4 objects of observation that can translate the leadership style of the librarian, namely: communication, work supervision, direction, and decision making. Of these four things, the head of the library always involves the participation of his employees with the aim of exchanging ideas with each other both in terms of completing work and in solving a problem.Conclusion. The results showed that the leadership style applied by the head of the library used a democratic leadership style.

There has been only limited research focused on the assumption of leader stress and affective well-being. Hence, this study aims to determine the relationship between leadership style and employee stress level at workplace. This study primarily took a quantitative approach for data collection and analysis. Questionnaires were distributed at three branches of banks located in Kuching, Sarawak and to their employees. The findings show that there is a relationship between autocratic leadership style and employee stress level at workplace. The strength of the relationship is weak due to r = .461, p = .002. The findings also show that democratic leadership and transformational leadership have no relationship with the employee stress level at workplace.Keywords: leadership style; employee stress

The study aims to investigate the impact of the head teacher`s leadership styles on the teacher`s job satisfaction and work motivation. A sample of total one hundred thirty-five were included in the study total of 122 teachers and 13 head teachers were randomly selected from different schools of Karachi for the data collection. The questionnaire was developed for the data collection which consisted of different sections comprised of demographic variables, leadership styles of head teachers, and job satisfaction and work motivation of teachers. The data was collected from different schools of Karachi by visiting in person and with the permission of head teachers and teachers. One sample t-test was implied to examine the data and results indicated that positive leadership style influences the teacher`s job satisfaction and work motivation. The results of the study also revealed that most head teachers apply the democratic leadership style as they liked to take recommendations and ideas from their teachers to make decisions and to maintain a positive relationship among the group. The study recommends that school heads must improve and encourage the staff to participate in the decisions making which leads to motivating them for better performance for themselves and for the institution.

The purpose of this studywas to know how was the influence of democratic leadership style, organizational culture, and lecturers’ performance. How did the democratic leadership style affect lecturer performance. How did the organizational culture to affect the lecturers’ performance.This paper was based on the results of research conducted at STKIP Hamzanwadi Selong college whichwas domiciled in Pancor Selong Sub-district, Lombok Timur regencyof Nusa Tenggara Barat Province using survey method, taking samples from one population and using questionnaire as the instrument. Data collection technique was done through questionnaire with descriptive-verification design. The grain validity test is performed through empirical tests of instrument grains. The collecting data were analyzed using F-test and t-test. The results of testing hypothesis and data analysis showed that the democratic leadership style had a significantly influence on lecturers’ performance. Organizational culture had asignificant effect on lecturer’s performance.

This research aims to describe the headmaster’s leadership style at SD/MI (Primary School) Muhammadiyah in Banyumas Regency. This is a descriptive qualitative research. Subjects in this research are headmasters and teachers at SD/MI Muhammadiyah in Banyumas Regency, namely MI Muhammadiyah Wangon, SD Muhammadiyah Cipete, and MI Muhammadiyah Pasirmuncang. Data collection technique used in this research is interview. Data validity is checked using technique of source triangulation. The findings show that the leadership style implemented by headmasters at SD/MI Muhammadiyah in Banyumas Regency is a democratic leadership style. This is shown in the way the headmasters carry out their leadership function. For example, as a leader, the headmaster gives information, evaluation, motivation, and innovation for school development, runs situational and non-authoritarian leadership, behaves wisely, and gives directions, examples, as well as rewards. The headmaster always prioritizes a sense of unity and togetherness with the school community. The headmaster uses a strategy of getting close to the community. In dealing with problems, the headmaster solves them calmly and gracefully and discusses them in deliberations in accordance with the development of the problem, and after the decision the problem can be resolved properly. Moreover, the school principal is open to accepting opinions, criticisms and suggestions from staffs.

The aim of this study is the creative problem-solving capacity of the organization with leadership behaviors of human resources managers and employees to examine the relationship between career satisfaction and is tested empirically. Research within the scope of the required data structured questionnaire method, operating in the province of Aydin was obtained from 130 employees working in five star hotels. Democratic leadership style according to the factor analysis, easygoing, participants converter, and releasing autocratic leadership dimensions were determined. According to the analysis, the dependent variable with a significant level of research and positive leadership style has been determined that no relationships. Regression analysis revealed that the leadership of the relationship with the creative problem-solving capacity of democratic leadership in style when found to be stronger than other leadership styles, while the variable describing the career of the employee satisfaction level of the maximum it was concluded that the creative problem-solving capacity of the organization. Research in the context of human resources on the very important for organizations, leadership behavior, creative problem-solving capacity and career satisfaction studies analyzing the relationships between variables it seems to be quite limited. The discovery by analyzing the relationship between the aforementioned variables, can make significant contributions to knowledge in the literature and are expected to form the basis for future research.

Background: Nurses in charge of the Emergency Room are required to have more ability than nurses serving patients in other units. Emergency Room is an initial service in a hospital. One's leadership style will greatly affect the effectiveness of a leader. The selection of the right leadership style can lead to the achievement of individual or organizational goals. Objective: To know the various leadership style used by the head of room in improving the performance of nurses of Emergency Room RSUD in in Special Region of Yogyakarta. Method: This research includes quantitative research type, using cross sectional approach. The population of this study was the head of the treatment room. Secondary data of nurse's performance is taken from nursing care which is written in medical record file of Emergency Room of RSUD in Special Region of Yogyakarta. Results: The performance of nurses at Emergency Room RSUD A in the good category was 100%. The performance of nurses at Emergency Room RSUD B in the enough category was 45%. The performance of nurses at Emergency Room C in good category was 80%. The performance of nurses at Emergency Room RSUD D in good category was 55%. The performance of nurses at RSUD E in the good category was 95%. The result of cross tabulation between leadership style and nurse performance of RSUD in the whole DIY with good performance is leader who use democratic leadership style equal to 35%. Conclusion: Most of the nurse's good performance in Emergency Room is followed by democratic leadership style of head of space.  Keyword: leadership style, head of space, performance of nurses

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membuktikan adanya pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawa dewan pelaksana pengelola masjid agung jawa tengah. Peneletian ini menggunakan metode sensus data dari 119 responden. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji parsial (uji t) variabel gaya kepemimpinan demokratisdi peroleh nilai t hitung 6,125 > 1,657 (t tabel) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, artinya gaya kepemimpinan demokratis berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dewan pelaksana pengelola Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah. Variabel disiplin kerja di peroleh nilai t hitung – 1,419 < 1,657 (t tabel) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,159 > 0,05 artinya disiplin kerja tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan dewan pelaksana pengelola Masjid Agung Jawa TengahBerdasarkan hasil uji F (simultan) diketahui bahwa F hitung > F tabel (20,337 > 2,68), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara simultan atau bersama – sama gaya kepemimpinan demokratif dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif sigifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada dewan pelaksana pengelola Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah. Hasil pengujian koefisien determinasi (R2) terhadap variabel gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dan disiplin kerja menunjukan pengaruh terhadap kinerja kariawan pada dewan pelaksana pengelola Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah sebesar 24,7%. Sedangkan sisanya (100% - 24,7% = 74,3%) dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. This research uses census data method from 119 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of data analysis using a partial test (t test) democratic leadership style variables in the t value obtained 6.125> 1.657 (t table) with a significance level of 0.000 F table (20,337> 2.68), so that it can be concluded that simultaneously or together the democratic leadership style and work discipline have a significant positive effect on employee performance on the managing board of the Central Java Grand Mosque. The results of testing the coefficient of determination (R2) on the variables of democratic leadership style and work discipline showed an influence on the performance of caribou on the managing board of the Central Java Grand Mosque manager at 24,7%.
