ABSTRAK  Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan keterampilan menekan biaya produksi dan meningkatkan pendapatan petani sawi melalui penggunaan pupuk organik cair di Kelurahan Gunung Anyar Tambak Kecamatan Gunung Anyar Kota Surabaya. Pada masa pandemi covid 19 ini pasokan pupuk kimia tersendat dan mengakibatkan harga pupuk semakin mahal. Pada tahun 2010 pemerintah memunculkan wacana global untuk kembali ke alam (back to nature) di sektor pertanian, di antaranya dengan pemanfaatan bahan alam (bahan baku hayati). Untuk itu kegiatan ini memanfaatkan gulma yang terdapat diarea pertanian tumpang sari dimana area pertanian ini terdapat lahan untuk tanaman sawi, jeruk dan jambu kristal namun sebagian lagi merupakan area tambak ikan yang banyak terdapat gulma seperti kangkung liar dan buah yang sudah busuk. Dengan demikian, dilakukan pembuatan pupuk organik cair dengan menambahkan mikro organisme EM4 kepada bahan baku yaitu gulma. Diperoleh hasil bahwa penggunaan pupuk organik cair ini dapat menurunkan biaya produksi dan meningkatkan produktivitas sawi dan hasil pertanian lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara diperoleh adanya peningkatan pendapatan petani sebesar 22% dari penggunaan pupuk organik cair ini. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah produk berupa pupuk organik cair yang dibuat sendiri oleh peserta pelatihan dan meningkatkan motivasi para petani untuk mengembangkan secara mandiri alternatif pupuk organik sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Kata Kunci: Pupuk organik cair, biaya produksi, gulma ABSTRACT This service activity aims to provide skills training to reduce production costs and increase the income of mustard farmers through the use of liquid organic fertilizer in Gunung Anyar Tambak Village, Gunung Anyar District, Surabaya City. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the supply of chemical fertilizers stagnated and resulted in increasingly high fertilizer prices. In 2010 the government raised a global discourse to return to nature (back to nature) in the agricultural sector, including natural materials (biological raw materials). For this reason, this activity utilizes weeds found in the intercropping agricultural area. This agricultural area has land for mustard, citrus, and crystal guava plants but partly is a fish pond area with many weeds such as wild kale and rotten fruit. Thus, a liquid organic fertilizer was made by adding EM4 micro-organisms to the raw material, namely weeds. The results show that liquid organic fertilizer can reduce production costs and increase the productivity of mustard greens and other agricultural products. Based on the interview results, it was found that there was an increase in farmers' income by 22% from the use of this liquid organic fertilizer. The output of this activity is a product in the form of liquid organic fertilizer, which is made by the trainees themselves and increases the motivation of the farmers to develop alternative organic fertilizers according to their needs independently. Keywords: Liquid organic fertilizer, production costs, weeds

Many sources of raw materials which allegedly can enrich the nutrient content in the organic fertilizer. The weakness of organic fertilizer for this is the low level of nutrients contained in them.This study aims to determine the nutrient content contained in various combinations of organic fertilizer raw materials with rabbit animal waste as the main raw material.This study aims to determine the nutrient content in various combinations of organic fertilizer raw materials with rabbit animal waste as the main raw material. The research concluded (a) Organic fertilizers are made from various materials raw has fulfilled SNI 19-7030-2004 about the specifications of Organic Waste Compost. (B) A combination of organic fertilizer raw materials significantly affect the nutrient content of manure. Abstract The emergence of the CoronaVirus Disease in 2019, until now has had a negative impact on various sectors of people’s lives including the agricultural sector. Smallholder oil palm farming has also experienced a negative impact due the pandemic. This research aims to knowing the situation of smallholder oil palm farming before and during pandemic; and to knowing the readiness of farmers to manage smallholder oil palm farming; and to knowing the sustainability of the management of smallholder oil palm farming during the pandemic. This research was conducted in STM Hilir Subdistrict, Deli Serdang District, North Sumatra, Indonesia, which was carried out in September - December 2020. The data used were primary and secondary data which were analyzed descriptively with income analysis method and simple tabulation. Based on the results of data analysis, concluded: smallholder oil palm farming during the COVID-19 pandemic was not stable, due to an increase in production costs of 20.2%/month, and a decrease income of farmers by 6.69%/harvest season/ha. In period of COVID-19 pandemic-19 59% of farmers said they are ready to develop their farming in a sustainable manner. Sustainable management smallholder oil palm farming during the pandemic is going well, based on indicators of ecological conservation, where farmers tend to use organic fertilizers. In accordance with the results of the study suggested; so that the government provides continuous counseling to farmers, provides incentives, subsidies for production facilities for farmers, so that farmers continue to apply health protocols in carrying out their farming activities.

Farming is currently carried out with organic farming, so compost is needed to replace chemical fertilizers. The use of fertilizers made from organic raw materials is highly recommended, because fertilizers made from compost can help help nutrients in the soil, besides compost can also be made from raw materials that are around our environment.. Using compost can help farmers save on production costs, because compost can be made from unused raw materials. For example, compost derived from cow dung, usually does not have a price and benefits, it turns out that it can be used as a raw material for making compost so that this utilization can reduce production costs that are usually incurred by farmers. The purpose of this service is to provide knowledge to partners that it turns out that the livestock waste they cultivate can be used as raw material for composting so that livestock waste in the form of cow dung can be overcome and can also help farmers reduce costs incurred for farming which is also they do. Compost made from cow dung is very helpful in soil fertility and can be seen directly by its benefits for plants and soil. Conclusion The use of cow dung into compost is to reduce livestock manure waste. This community service activity is concluded to have improved the participants' knowledge, understanding, and skills by an average of 81.25%

AbstractIn anti-dumping procedures, the EU authorities have adjusted State-distorted input costs in the constructed normal value to market benchmarks. This methodology increases the amount of anti-dumping duties and hence import barriers to foreign goods produced with low-priced raw materials. Such cost adjustments are based on certain EU anti-dumping provisions that implement corresponding World Trade Organization (WTO) rules under which the cost of input must be derived, as a principle, from the records of target companies in the exporting country if those records, inter alia, reasonably reflect production costs of the product under investigation. But in the case of input costs distorted by the government, the EU authorities have typically deviated from this principle relying on alternative sources on the grounds of unreasonable costs. While the EU jurisprudence has so far been generally lenient towards this methodology as applied to significant distortions in the raw material (upstream) market, the recent WTO appellate ruling in EU–Biodiesel is rather negative on its use in the presence of the valid domestic records. This article examines the EU anti-dumping practice as reviewed in both EU and WTO judicial proceedings and discusses some legislative reforming options under both regimes. It concludes that the WTO anti-dumping rules should be amended to allow market-oriented cost adjustments in the normal value, on the one hand, and ensure parallel export price adjustments, on the other.

Organic materials that are generally used as raw material for organic fertilizer granules (POG) is a natural organic material that has been degrade, smooth and dry. One of the main raw materials are always used with a very high percentage of usage, is manure. Manure potential in Indonesia is very high, amounting to 113.6 million tons per year, or 64.7 million tons per year to the island of Java. From this amount, it will be generated numbers POG production potential of 17.5 million tons per year (total Indonesia) or 9.9 million tons per year for the island of Java. While the realistic POG production predictions figures made from raw manure is 2.5 million tons annually, a figure that has been unable to meet the number requirement of POG greater than 4 million tons per year. Therefore, in producing POG, it should be to maximize the using of the potential of other organic materials so that the use of manure can be saved. With the use of a small amount of manure (maximum 30% for cow manure), it would be useful also to avoid the production of POG with high Fe content.keywods: organic material, manure, granule organic fertilizer

In the mountainous canton Grisons, much visited by tourists, the forest has always had an important role to play. New challenges are now presenting themselves. The article goes more closely into two themes on the Grisons forestry agenda dominating in the next few years: the increased use of timber and climate change. With the increased demand for logs and the new sawmill in Domat/Ems new opportunities are offered to the canton for more intensive use of the raw material, wood. This depends on a reduction in production costs and a positive attitude of the population towards the greater use of wood. A series of measures from the Grisons Forestry Department should be of help here. The risk of damage to infrastructure is particularly high in a mountainous canton. The cantonal government of the Grisons has commissioned the Forestry Department to define the situation concerning the possible consequences of global warming on natural hazards and to propose measures which may be taken. The setting up of extensive measurement and information systems, the elaboration of intervention maps, the estimation of the danger potential in exposed areas outside the building zone and the maintenance of existing protective constructions through the creation of a protective constructions register, all form part of the government programme for 2009 to 2012. In the Grisons, forest owners and visitors will have to become accustomed to the fact that their forests must again produce more wood and that, on account of global warming, protective forests will become even more important than they already are today.

This study aims to analyze whether the difference that occurs in the cost of raw materials, direct labor, and factory overhead costs between the standard costs and the actual costs in PLTU LATI is a difference that is favorable or unfavorable. Data collection techniques with field research and library research. The analytical tool used is the analysis of the difference in raw material costs, the difference in direct labor costs and the difference in factory overhead costs. The hypothesis in this study is that the difference allegedly occurs in the cost of raw materials, direct labor costs, and factory overhead costs at PT Indo Pusaka Berau Tanjung Redeb is a favorable difference. The results showed that the difference in the cost of producing MWh electricity at PT Indo Pusaka Berau Tanjung Redeb in 2018, namely the difference in the price of raw material costs Rp. 548,029.80, - is favorable, the difference in quantity of raw materials is Rp. 957,216,602, - is (favorable) , the difference in direct labor costs Rp 2,602,642,084, - is (unfavorable), and the difference in factory overhead costs Rp 8,807,051,422, - is (favorable) This shows that the difference in the overall production cost budget is favorable or profitable. This beneficial difference shows that the company is really able to reduce production costs optimally in 2018.

Subject. This article analyzes the implementation of the government programme of the Krasnodar Krai, Development of Agriculture and Regulation of Markets for Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Food. Objectives. The article aims to assess the measures of budget support for the agricultural sector of the Krasnodar Krai. Methods. For the study, we used a correlation and regression analysis of official statistics. Results. The article finds that the government programme of the Krasnodar Krai, Development of Agriculture and Regulation of Markets for Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Food has a positive impact on the progress of production in the agriculture of the region, but it does not contribute to the growth of investment in the industry. Conclusions. It is necessary to move from targeted support for individual agricultural producers to the creation of a modern sectoral infrastructure.

Fertilization is an action in plant care. Fertilization provides additional nutrients for the soil. Fertilization has a large influence on plant growth and production. Fertilization consists of organic and inorganic fertilizers. Both of these fertilizers must be balanced so that the nutrient content can be maintained properly. The use of fertilizers an organic fertilizer that is widely used, but the use of chemical fertilizers on an ongoing basis will reduce the level of soil fertility. This must be balanced with organic fertilizer. One of the organic fertilizer is guano fertilizer. This fertilizer is fertilizer made from animal waste, namely bats. This fertilizer has a very good content including nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Knowledgethis fertilizer will still be low, so that an introduction and practice about guano fertilizer is needed. Therefore a community service activity was carried out on the development of the manufacture of guano fertilizer. Guano fertilizer development is carried out in the form of granules (granules). The targets of this service are vocational students who are related to agriculture. Vocational students are selected as the young generation to know about organic fertilizers and are able to contribute to the implementation of the agricultural industry. Community service activities were carried out with a presentation of the theory and practice of making guano fertilizer. As a result of this activity, students learned about organic fertilizer, namely guano fertilizer and its contents, nutrient content in the soil, balance in maintaining nutrient content in the soil, the practice of making guano fertilizer, and the creation of granule form from guano fertilizer.

<p>The number of iron sand reserves is mostly spread in the coastal waters of Indonesia, from the coast of Sumatra, the southern of Java to Bali, the beaches of Sulawesi, beaches in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), and the northern coast of Papua. Total reserves for ore are 173,810,612 tons and metal as much as 25,412,652.62 tons. But its utilization was not optimal because PT. Krakatau Steel, and PT. Krakatau Posco has produced steel plates only 24,000 to 36,000 tons per year. While the need for steel plates for the shipping industry each year requires 900,000 tons per year. With the need for raw material for steel plates in the form of iron sponges with Fe ≥ 60%, PT. Krakatau Steel is still imported from abroad. The proof is PT. Krakatau Steel before and during the year 2000 still imported Iron Ore Pellets from the countries of Sweden, Chille and Brazil for 3,500,000 tons per year. This condition is the cause of the national steel industry unable to compete with the foreign steel industry because imported raw materials are subject to import duties. This is an opportunity to build a steel raw material company because all this time the steel raw material industry in Indonesia has only two companies. This condition encourages the manufacture of iron sponges, with the process of making iron sponges with technology adapted to installed production capacity. This study analysed the manufacture of iron sponges using Cipatujah iron sand, as raw material for the manufacture of iron sponges, with the results obtained in the form of iron sponges with the highest levels of Fe ≥60.44%. This can be used for the purposes of raw materials for steel making PT. Krakatau Steel (PT. KS), because so far PT. KS claims that Fe &lt;60% local sponge iron products. This can encourage the independence of steel raw materials, which impacts on the independence of the defence industry. But the government must also protect and prioritize steel raw materials for national production for national steel production. With the national government steel industry, the consortium of vendors supplying raw material (iron sponge) to maintain the quality and supply of continuous sponge iron.</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: iron sand, iron pellet, iron sponge</p>
