Abstrak: Pendidikan merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sumber daya manusia agar menjadi manusia yang memiliki karakter dan dapat hidup dengan mandiri. Membangun karakter melalui pendidikan mutlak sangat diperlukan, bahkan tidak bisa ditunda. Pendidikan karakter bisa efektif dan berhasil ketika dilakukan secara lengkap mulai dari lingkungan rumah tangga, sekolah dan masyarakat. Karakter yang harus ditanamkan pada siswa antara lain yakni ; cinta Tuhan serta alam semesta dan isinya, belajar untuk tanggung jawab, disiplin, mandiri, jujur, hormat serta sopan, dapat bekerja bersama, percaya diri, kreatif, kerja keras dan tidak pernah menyerah, keadilan kepemimpinan, baik dan rendah hati. Sedangkan akhlak mulia adalah seluruh kebiasaan manusia yang berasal dari diri yang secara sadar didorong oleh keinginan dan tercermin dalam perbuatan baik. Dengan demikian jika karakternya mulia mendarah daging pada siswa, karakter mulia akan secara otomatis tercermin dalam perilaku siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Akhlak Mulia, Siswa Sekolah DasarAbstract: Education is an effort to improve the ability of human resources to become human beings who have character and can live independently. Building character through education is absolutely indispensable, cannot even be delayed. Character education can be effective and successful when done in full starting from the household environment, school and society. Characters that must be instilled in students include; love God and the universe and its contents, learn for responsibility, discipline, independent, honest, respectful and polite, can work together, be confident, creative, work hard and never give up, leadership justice, kind and humble. While noble morals are all human habits that originate from the self which is consciously driven by desire and reflected in good deeds. Thus, if his noble character is ingrained in students, noble character will automatically be reflected in student behavior in daily life.Keywords: Character Education, Noble Character, Elementary School Students

Idea about integration and interconnection of science and the Qur'an is not a new phenomenon in the treasury of Islamic sciences epistemology, because the grand theme of the Qur'an has a transformative and responsive function in answering the dynamics of today's nature problem which requires solving by a saintific-religious approach. In a more specific context to teach science to elementary school students (MI), many urgency benefits for the formation of religious and scientific character of children. Learning science that is designed by integrating and interconnecting science and the Qur'an can be a vehicle laying the groundwork to provide an indept understanding of the connection of the existence of this universe with the Being Substance of the Creator of the universe. When this provision is deeply rooted and forms a belief, and continues until the adult child, the character always "thirsty" towards the science will be transformed into his personality. Fiqur students like this is highly expected, because it can realize the ideals of the creation of scholars Muslim who have the breadth of science, skilled experimenting science, and have religious spiritual depth. The quality of human resources such as this can be the next generation of the nation that is able to contribute positively to the development of the nation and state, especially for the Indonesian nation that philosophizes Pancasila and the Constitution with the main principle on belief in God Almighty

The purpose of this study was to develop and test the effectiveness of the character education module based on the school literacy movement. This type of research uses Research and Development (RnD). The research subjects used were fifth grade elementary school students in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data was collected using observation sheets, interview sheets, photos of activities, and filling out questionnaires. Sources of data obtained from filling out questionnaires, observations, and responses from school principals, class teachers, subject teachers, students, and school committees on the implementation of the module. The resulting module is validated by material experts and module experts. Small group trials were conducted in fifth grade SDN Mojoluhur, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Meanwhile, product use trials were carried out in fifth grade SDNs in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and using the t-test to determine the effectiveness of the module. The questionnaire instrument test used validity and reliability, while the quality of the module in the study used expert validation. The results showed: (1) a character education module developed based on the school literacy movement for elementary schools; (2) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is declared valid, the percentage of eligibility criteria for the validator is 75% (feasible) and 83% (very feasible); (3) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is effective for instilling character education in elementary school students. This is shown in the t test the effectiveness of -121.696 1.86 was obtained and the average student character questionnaire before and after using the module increased by 30.08%; (4) the results of teacher responses from observations showed 75.6% (good).

The purpose of this study is to determine elementary school students’ level of self-regulation skills—goal setting and to develop strategies to achieve these goals. Survey method is used in the study with the participants of 368 students. The study was conducted at two elementary schools in Incesu and Kocasinan provinces of Kayseri and students filled a five-item Likert type scale. Data were analysed using statistical analysis program and 0.05 significance level was accepted. The result shows that the average grade of girls was higher than the boys, the average of 5th grades was higher than 6th grades and the average of the school in the city centre was higher than the school in the rural area. Also, there was a significant difference between the self-regulation scores of the grade levels in the favour of 5th grades. Lastly, the self-regulation score of the students living in city centre was higher than that of students living in village.   Keywords: Self-regulation, elementary education, survey research, elementary students

This study aims to describe the values ​​of character education in the fairy tale Bawang Merah Bawang Putih and its relevance for strengthening the character of elementary school students. The data of this research is the story of Bawang Merah Bawang Putih which was obtained from the fairy tale book by Runna Aulia and Ghais Ramadhani. The data collection technique used is documentation. This stage of the data analysis technique is carried out by data condensation. Presentation of data, as well as conclusions and verification of research results. The results of this study are 5 character values ​​contained in the fairy tale Bawang Merah Bawang Putih, such as the value of the character of hard work, the value of the character of discipline, the value of the character of responsibility, the value of the character of social care, the value of the character of curiosity. This study also found 5 character values ​​that exist in strengthening character education, such as the value of telligiosity, nationalism, integrity, independence and mutual cooperation. The characters in this fairy tale can also be used as learning content at school. there are good examples so that students can find good learning to be applied to everyday life such as the school environment, community and family environment.

If we agreed that human beings and their thoughts are the products of an educational process that they obtain, it can be said that the nature and behavior of humans that damage the environment are caused by the education that they got less optimal in strengthenig environmental wisdom. Because of that the lesson of Islamic Education should be able to be optimally given early for children, such as children of primary school. Environmental-oriented of Islamic Education needs to be given to students such as teaching them about the importance of caring for and preserving the environment and its functions. The focus of this paper is conceptual discussion of environmental oriented Islamic education in elementary schools concerning the basis, significance and implementation. Problem that want to be revealed through this paper: First, in Islam, what underlies the importance of Islamic education with environmental wisdom given to elementary school students? Second, why does Islam strongly emphasize the importance of strengthening environmental wisdom through Islamic education? Third, how should Islamic education with environmental wisdom given to elementary school students?
