Background and Objectives: Due to Covid-19 lockdown period undergraduate medical institutions across the country are moving towards e-learning for continuity of education. The purpose of this study is to determine the perceptions of students towards e-learning and to analyze medical students’ perception on e-learning vs. conventional learning. Materials and Method: This was a descriptive cross sectional study conducted by distributing an online semi-structured questionnaire consisting Likert scale to undergraduate medical students of Kathmandu Medical College. Data assembled from the survey were analyzed and Statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) 24 version software was used for data analysis. Result: A total of 273 students were enrolled in this study. Most of the students, 83.9% (229) had the perception that conventional teaching method was the best method for learning as compared to e-learning method 16.1% (44). The students mentioned that conventional method of learning is more effective to increase knowledge than e -learning (M= 3.87, M= 2.80) which was statistically significant (p=0.000). Conclusion: E-learning was the only option for students to study during lockdown period. But students preferred conventional method of learning as compared to e-learning. It might be due to some disadvantages of e-learning, eg. Technical difficulties, lack of interaction with teacher  and patients, etc. So, these measures have to be addressed for improving e-learning for betterment of teaching-learning activity during these types of circumstances in future.

Students were often confused and forced into silence when they communicate in English. This condition became a problem during the teaching-learning process and may eventually lead to poor communicative competence. Inductive teaching method, which employs authentic materials can be a solution to address the aforementioned condition. The objective of this study is finding out the effects of implementing inductive teaching method. using authentic materials, to the students’ communicative competence. Participants were 61 fourth semester students (22 males and 39 females). enrolled in a three-year diploma program in Travel and Tourism Business Study Program, State Polytechnic of Bali.  Data are collected through classroom action-based research procedures. By conducting a quasi-experimental design, the collected data were analyzed by paired t-tests and mixed design ANCOVA. The study reveals the English communicative competence of the students significantly increased, shown by the mean score on the post-test, namely 63.05 in the control group and 84.43 in the experimental group [t = -23.485, p=.000] at the level of p<.05. In addition, their learning motivation and interest also increased as it is shown by the result of the questionnaires. Limitations and suggestions for successful applied action-integrated instruction and implications for future research are provided.

The purpose of this study is to know the internalization improvement of scientific attitude of Biology Education Student - PMIPA FKIP UR through the application of Inductive Teaching Methods in the Basic Physics Practical course. The approach used in this study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with cyclic pattern which consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. After two time actions, the results of the assessment of the scientific attitude of the students increased from 28.46% to 51.50% in cycle 1 and to 79.96% in cycle 2. In general, the indicator scientific attitude has been quite embedded in students. Assessment of student activity increased from 12.56% to 65.50% in cycle 1 and to 78.06% in cycle 2. This result shows that the learning activity by applying the Inductive Teaching Methods has been understood by the students. Assessment on student performance in the implementation of the lab also increased, from the average of 80.55% in cycle 1 to 81.87% in cycle 2. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that through the application of inductive Teaching Methods in the Basic Physics Practical course in Biology Education Study Program PMIPA FKIP UR can escalation the internalize scientific attitude of student.

Based on the depicted reality, the researcher feels chalenged to know how is the implementation of Community Language Learning (CLL) method, to investigate its strengths and weaknesses, as well as to find out students’ difficulties in teaching s6peaking.This research entitled The Implementation of Community Language Learning (CLL) in Teaching Speaking. This research is conducted on the second semester students of English Education Study Program who are taking Speaking For General Communication II on the second semester students at one of universities in Cianjur. This research aims to know how the implementation of CLL and to investigate its strengths and weaknesses, as well as to find out students’ difficulties in learning speaking through CLL.This research uses qualitative method which employs several techniques in collecting the data. This research applied photovoice as a technique to increase the student’s ability in speaking English guiding. Photovoice is suitable technique in teaching speaking skill in English guiding because it gives student chance to communicate with different context and different social by photo as a learning media. This reviews were taken from Beverly Palibroda (2009) Photovoice implementation and Speaking Assessment from Brown Lavinson (2004). This research was conducted by three cycles such as: pre-test, cycle I and cycle II. In composing this research the writer used qualitative descriptive method by classroom action research (CAR).             The result of this research showed that the mean score in pre-test before implementing Photovoice clearly showed that the ability of the subject under study was relatively “ fairly satisfactory ” in the level of mastery of speaking rubric. There were increasing in cycle I after implementing Photovoice technique. The result of the data analysis of the reflection score in cycle I showed increasing the mean score of 7.11 It was higher than the result of pre-test. In the cycle II, which the treatment was more intensive in order of weakness of the students had been known. The result of the data anaysis of reflection or post-test in cycle II that the mean score was 8.18. The different between mean score in cycle I and II was 1.07. The rates of dementia are on the rise as populations age. Storytelling is commonly used in therapies for persons living with dementia and can be in the form of life review, and reminiscence therapy. A systematic literature review was conducted to examine the range and extent of the use of digital technologies for facilitating storytelling in older adults and their care partners, and to identify the processes and methods, the technologies used and their readiness levels, the evidence, and the associated outcomes. Eight electronic databases were searched: Medline, EMBASE, PsycINFO, CINAHL, Abstracts in Social Gerontology, ERIC, Web of Science, and Scopus. We included 34 studies. Mild cognitive impairment or dementia represented over half of medical conditions reported in the studies. Overall, our findings indicate that the most common use of digital storytelling was to support older adults’ memory, reminiscence, identity, and self-confidence; however, the level of evidence of its effectiveness was low.
