The strategy of improving the quality of character education through the so-called tazkiyatun nafsi method is an effort to improve the quality of character education in Indonesia by inculcating the Islamic values from an early age to the children or the generation of the nation. Data collection is done through such methods as observation, interview, and documentation. The informants are the head of Madrasah, akidah akhlaq teacher, Quránic studies teacher, guidance and counseling teacher, and some students of MI Sabilillah Lamongan. While to analyze the data is by using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques that will explain the phenomenon that occurred in a school. The result shows that the improvement of character education quality applied by using the tazkiyatun nafsi method is to familiarize the students to perform either fardhu or sunnah prayers for example dzuhur prayer, dhuha prayer in addition to familiarizing them to read the Qur'an and familiarizing them on the importance of dzikir, istighfar, and reciting the prayer on the Prophet. In every implementation of education, there are always supporting and inhibiting factors. The factors that support the implementation of quality improvement of character education through the tazkiyatun nafsi method are among others teachers are never tired to educate the students, the principal who always provides good policies on the implementation of KBM, including foundation circles, community organizations, and the last is the enthusiastic students of MI Sabilillah Lamongan, while the most dominant inhibiting factor is lack of available places.

This study aims to identify and explain the management of character education in terms of planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring in improving the quality of education in State Senior High Schools (SMAN). This research was descriptive qualitative. Sources of data in this study were principals, vice principals, and teachers. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis techniques included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. Based on data analysis, it was found that character education management is started from planning students’ character education by determining the goals, constructing programs or school activities, and integrating character values. Furthermore, the organization of character education is carried out by dividing the tasks and the person in charge of the activity or program. Next, the implementation of character education is through the integration of character values in all subjects, in the school daily activities, in school programs, as well as building communication and cooperation between schools and parents of students. Lastly, character education is done through supervision consists of observing students’ behavior and scoring mentioned in students’ discipline book.

<p><em>Geguritan as one of the traditional literature is widely used by the authors to pour the brilliant idea of character education through the medium of art language that is strung together based on the diction that is very ungrateful. Through geguritan, a person has indirectly got a character education that is able to build a good mindset, words and deeds. The development of technology and communication in this era of globalization has gradually eroded the interest of teenagers to know and learn traditional literature. Learners are more interested in the things that smelled of technology, especially social media and override traditional literature, one of which is literature geguritan. Geguritan Suddhamala as one of literature geguritan loaded with character values that can be used as guidance in improving the quality of education quality. The relevance of character education in Suddhamala geguritan is divided into three namely divinity / humanity, humanity, and environment. The entire field of character has relevance to efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.</em></p>

Parenting is a process in the family, the interaction of parents and children. The family is where a child is born, the first place a child gets an education, consisting of father, mother and child. The family also became the main central place of character education formation of children. Family education is the fundamental or foundation of subsequent children's education. In the society of the nobility and in general people Sasak known to have the motto of Lomboq Mirah Sasak Adi meaning Lomboq straight meaning. Mirah is a true gem, an elegant precious metal that is very expensive. Sasak comes from sa'sa 'sa'i, sopo, seke' which means one. Adi means something that is very high value. Therefore, the true (mule jati) "straight road" is a very noble path, a very high value, as the only path to be followed by the sasak. and the road is a straight path (siratulmustakim) commanded by Allah SWT contained in the Qur'an and Al Hadith. In the process of learning guidance and counseling teachers are teachers who are tasked to provide guidance to students who are problematic and who are not problematic if considered important by the teacher guidance and counseling, therefore the role of teachers guidance and counseling in the learning process is needed, because learners have problems are diverse

Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), is research and development that is commonly called (R&D). The subjects of this study were Students of grade VII of SMP Negeri 18 Bengkulu City with 27 students and 2 teachers. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive analysis as outlined in the form of percentages. Data collection instruments and techniques with a questionnaire. The results of the study stated that the products developed were feasible with expert validation scores, , in expert I, Content eligibility aspects "very good" 100%, aspects of conformity with character education "very good" 97%, didactic aspects "very good" 93%, construction aspects "very good" 100% and technical aspects "very good" 93%. whereas the final result of the assessment was conducted by expert II, the aspect of Feasibility of "very good" content was 100%, the suitability aspect of Character Education was "very good" 97%, the Didactic aspect was "very good" 100%, the construction aspect was "very good" 100% and the technical aspect was "very good” 96%. While overall the quality of LKPD percentage of students' responses to LKPD based on Character Education is "very good" with a percentage of 86% and the results of teacher responses are "very good" with a percentage of 93%.

Improving the quality of character education needs to be done in all aspects including through cultural contexts. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education based on local wisdom through Orek-Orek dance. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative research. His research sites are Paron Elementary School and Kedungputri 1 Elementary School, Ngawi District. Data collection techniques include study documentation, observation and interviews. All this time the character education is still needed until now because of the declining moral continually occur in the generation of this nation and nearly brought the nation to a destruction, It is necessary to find repair solutions, one of which is to implement character education in the world of education. This research uses qualitative research, the procedure of data collection used were: Observation, interviews, and Library. The method of qualitative data analysis techniques through three stages, they were data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. The results showed: The  Planning of character education shows that  all the teachers make learning program by entering values into the character of learning, holding management planning in improving the quality of education, and planning of student activities, the value obtained by the mandate, responsibility, humanity, nationalism, curiosity, logical thinking, critical, work hard, creative, independent, self-confidence, respect for diversity, tolerance, solidarity, care for the environment, patriotism, courtesy, collaboration, innovation, work hard and living clean behavior. The implementation of character education shows the teachers put character values to the students during the learning, conduct management and policy agenda in support of character education in schools , and organize student activities, the value obtained are the care each other, independent, sense of desire of knowledge, love of country, care about the environment, creative, innovative, work hard, respect for achievement, togetherness, available, self-contained, obey to social rules, respect for diversity, discipline, responsible, and Nationalist. The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality of Islamic education which includes: input, process, output. Specifically on the object of study in this study, namely in SD/MI Unggulan Ash-Shiddiqiyyah-3 di Purworejo. This type of research is qualitative. Using an educational sociology approach. Data collection was obtained directly from informants through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, data verification, and affirmation of conclusions. An important finding in this study is that SD/MI Unggulan Ash-Shiddiqiyyah-3 di Purworejo cannot be said to be a quality school. Because, the three components of education quality have not been fulfilled, namely: overall input, process, and output.

The biggest hope for a better life in our society is through good quality of education. Through education, everyone will also be exposed to the truth. The tutoring program reported in this paper attempted to improve the quality of education for children in Dumpit, Tangerang. There were a great number of children who were not able to to go to school due to their parents’ difficult situation. In addition, these children’s parents paid little attention to their children’s physical appearance, health care, and behaviors. Through this tutoring activity, the students were exposed to the importance of education, moral and characters, and healthy living. Some materials given to the early age students included basic calculating, writing, reading, and singing. For elementary students, they were tutored in math, science, language, arts, civilization, and social science. For secondary level students, they were tutored in math, physics, biology, chemistry, accounting, language, economics, geography, sociology, history, and civilization. The mentoring methods used varied depending on the number of students and their characteristics. The mentors did their best to make learning active and fun so that the students did not get bored. We hope that this tutoring program is beneficial to the students and might have a good impact on the students and their neighborhood as well as the tutors.

Rendahnya kapasitas guru dan kualitas guru disebabkan beberapa faktor, diantaranya yaitu rendahnya level dari pendidikan guru. Guru yang tidak memahami secara mendalam substansi ilmu keguruan, mayoritas guru menjalankan profesinya hanya sebatas dengan rutinitas mengajar biasa, tanpa memperhatikan nilai-nilai pendidikan bagi peserta didik. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah membawa imbas terhadap kapasitas serta dapat mengembangkan kualitas guru serta meningkatkan kompetensi-kompetensi guru, sehingga berdampak positif dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu tindakan yang di implementasikan dalam memajukan pendidikan yang terdapat di Indonesia yaitu dengan membina kepala sekolah yang tak hanya berkompeten dalam satu bidang tapi berkompeten dibidang lainnya. Penelitian ini memiliki dampak kepemimpinan kepala sekolah kepada kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian korelasi fungsional. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, serta kuesioner. Teknik analisis data dibantu dengan menggunakan SPSS 21. Penelitian ini menampakkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan bagi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Aspek yang berperan dalam kepemimpinan kepala sekolah serta cara kerja guru yaitu dengan  keinginan serta pemahaman guru akan perbaikan kinerjanya dan gurupun siap dibimbing demi terciptanya bobot pendidikan yang berkapasitas tinggi. Kepala sekolah mendukung peran serta guru dalam aktivitas KKGKata kunci: kepemimpinan, kinerja guru, pengaruh. EFFECT OF PRINCIPAL LEADERSHIP TO TEACHER PERFORMANCEABSTRACTThe low performances of teacher and the quality of teachers due to several factors, including the low level of teacher education, teachers who do not deeply understand the substance of science teacher, the majority of the teachers run the profession is limited to regular teaching routines without paying attented to the educational values for learners. Leadership of a principal can have of effect on performance as welling as to improvisation of the professionalism of teacher and then improve teacher competencies in ordered to have a positive of impact in the learning of process. One from the government's steps in advancing educations in Indonesia is by fostering principals who are nohing only competent in one field but competent in other fields. This research aims to determited the influence of principals from leadership on teacher performance. This research uses quantitative approach and type of functional correlation research. Data were collected through observation techniques, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques assisted by using SPSS21. This results showing that there is influence between principal leadership and the teacher performance. Aspects that play a roling in the leaderships of at principal and the performanced of teacher that is with the desire and awareness of teachers will improve performance and gurupun ready in guidance for the creation of quality education quality. The principal supports teacher participation in KKG activities.

Brawls between students that occur between students in educational institutions make the moral quality of students worse. Moral education can be done from an early age as a foundation for further education. One way is done with stories arranged in fables. This study aims to describe the moral values ​​contained in the Collection of Friendship Fables by Chandra Wening to be interpreted and taught to children. The research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The object of this research is the stories contained in the Friendship Fable Collection. Data collection applies library techniques, listening techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data in the study were analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results showed that the moral values ​​contained in the Friendship Fable Collection by Chandra Wening consist of religious moral values ​​and social-moral values. Religious moral values ​​include patience and hard work. While social moral values ​​include: help, respect, and affection. This research contributes to understanding and practicing how moral education to everyday life from an early age.
