<p>This study aims to describe the increase in students' creativity in solving <br />mathematical problems and student response after learning the methods of what's another way. To achieve these objectives with the class action research conducted qualitative descriptive approach. Research subjects were students in grade VII SMP N Semanding, Tuban. Data collection techniques, to find out the creativity problem solving is done through task-based interviews. To study the response of students is done through questionnaire responses of students. Analysis of data creativity problem solving creativity refers to the three indicators, namely fluency, flexibility, and novelty. The results showed that subjects with good levels of mathematical ability, moderate and less intelligent, creativity in solving problems increased after the applied method of what's another way. The quality of students' creativity in solving the problem tends to be low. Being the response of students towards learning by using the "what's another way" is very positive. <br /> <br /><br /></p>

Abstract. The research objectives are: (1) Knowing whether the approach to the mathematical investigation can improve the ability to solve open mathematical problems; (2) Knowing how the level of activity of students and lecturers in learning through a mathematical investigation approach. This type of research is Class Action Research. The research subjects were Students of Mathematics Education FKIP UMSU Academic Year 2018/2019. The object of research is the ability of lecturers to manage student learning and activities in the implementation of learning and the ability of students to solve open mathematical problems through an investigative approach to material numbers. The results of the study show that (1) The approach to the mathematical investigation can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities; (2) The approach to the mathematical investigation can increase the level of student activity. From the results of the initial test the ability to solve open mathematical problems an average value of 3.17, the average value of student cycle I tests is 10.73 (56.66%) students who have the ability to solve open mathematical problems and average test scores the second cycle was 12 (83.33%) students who had the ability to solve open mathematical problems. Based on the conclusions above, this study suggests that consider the application of a mathematical investigation approach in order to improve the quality of mathematics learning.Keywords: Mathematical Investigation, Problem-Solving, Open-Mathematics.

Dalam mengerjakan permasalahan matematika, pasti ada yang mengalami suatu hambatan dalam proses pemecahannya yang menyebabkan terjadinya suatu kesalahan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita berdasarkan tahapan Newman pada materi bangun datar segiempat dan penyebab mereka melakukan kesalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dengan metode tes tulis dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah 3 dari 32 siswa kelas VII-D SMP Negeri 2 Nganjuk yang dipilih berdasarkan banyaknya kesalahan yang dilakukan saat tes tulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal cerita tentang bangun datar segiempat, yaitu (1) kesalahan dalam membaca soal, (2) kesalahan dalam memahami soal, (3) kesalahan dalam mentransformasi soal, (4) kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses, dan (5) kesalahan dalam menuliskan jawaban akhir. Penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan tersebut adalah siswa kurang teliti dalam membaca dan mengerjakan soal, belum paham materi dan belum terbiasa mengerjakan soal cerita dengan tahapan Newman. Kata kunci: analisis, kesalahan, soal cerita, tahapan newman, bangun datar segiempat.  In working on mathematical problems , there must be someone(s) who got some obstacles in the process of solving it which causes an error in the learning process. This research aims to describe students errors according to Newman’s Error Analysis in solving rectangular word problem and why they are doing that. This research used a qualitative-descriptive approach with the written test and interview method. The research subjects were 3 of 32 students from class 8­th-D Public Middle School 2 Nganjuk which is chosen based on the number of errors made during the written test. The results of this research shows that the students made some errors in solving mathematics involving rectangular word problems such as reading error, comperhension error, transformation error, process skill error and encoding error. The reason students make these mistakes are (1) students are not careful in reading and working on problems, (2) students doesn't understand the material, (3) and students are not usual to working on word problems using the Newman’s  method. The purpose of this study was to examine the mathematical concepts of students in solving the problem of polyhedron of cubes and cuboids with assisted of Schoology media. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive approach. This study describes the ability to understand mathematical concepts that owned of students with Schoology media. Research subjects is three students selected by purposive sampling based on conditions and situations that occured during the current co-19 pandemic. The data collection used consists of tests of understanding the ability of mathematical concepts. Based on the results of research showed that the ability to understanding students' of mathematical concepts with Schoology-assisted able to provide understanding of material polyhedron of cubes and cuboids by the average results of students getting value 91,67. Where the first student is able to reach an understanding indicator of mathematical concepts from given by agreeing to the concept, classifying objects according to certain properties, giving concepts in various forms of mathematical representation, explaining the relationship between one concept with another concept, and applying the concept in problem solving . While the second and third students can only reach four indicators from the second indicator given. Abstrak Penelitian ini didasari atas banyaknya kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam mengerjakan soal cerita matematika menyebabkan terjadinya kesalahan. Kesalahan siswa harus segera dipecahkan agar tidak terulang dan mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Pemecahan ini dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengetahui dimana letak kesalahan yang terjadi, jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan dan faktor penyebabnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis letak dan jenis kesalahan serta faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa menggunakan tahapan pemecahan pemecahan masalah Polya. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode tes tulis dan wawancara. Tes tulis yang diberikan berupa soal cerita matematika pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel. Subjek penelitian yaitu 3 siswa dipilih dari 36 siswa XI IPA4 SMA Negeri 1 Cerme. Subjek penelitian dipilih berdasarkan banyaknya kesalahan yang dilakukan pada saat tes tulis, kemudian diwawancarai. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa dalam mengerjakan soal cerita dengan materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel, terjadi kesalahan pada masing-masing indikator dalam tahapan pemecahan masalah Polya, di antaranya (1) kesalahan dalam pemahaman soal, (2) kesalahan dalam perencanaan penyelesaian, (3) kesalahan dalam pelaksanaan rencana penyelesaian, dan (4) kesalahan dalam pemeriksaan kembali. Siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam bentuk kesalahan konsep, kesalahan prinsip, dan kesalahan operasi. Faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa yaitu tidak memahami makna soal, lemahnya pemahaman konsep, tidak fokus dalam pengerjaan, lingkungan dan cara belajar siswa. Dari letak, jenis dan faktor penyebab kesalahan yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini dapat digunakan oleh pendidik sebagai pertimbangan dalam merencanakan pembelajaran agar kesalahan serupa tidak terulang. Abstract This research is motivated by the number of difficulties students faced while solving mathematics story problem which causes errors. Student’s error needs to be solved immediately to not affecting the learning result. To solve them, we needs to identified location of the errors occur, types of mistakes are made, and what are the causes. This research use a qualitative-descriptive approach. This research aims to analyze the location, type of errors, and the causes using Polya’s problem-solving steps. To collect data, this research using written test and interview methods. The written test is in the form of mathematics story problem involving the linear equation of three variables. The research subjects were 3 of 36 students from class 11th Science 4 State Highschool of Cerme. Research subject is chosen based on the number of errors made during the written test then interviewed. The result of this research shows that in order to solve problems, errors occurs on each Polya’s problem-solving steps indicators, such as (1) errors in understanding the problem, (2) errors in devising a plan, (3) errors in carrying out the plan, and (4) errors in looking back. The type of errors made by students were concept error, principle error, and operation error. The factors are not understand the problem, low concept, not focus, cognitive factors, and their learning environment. This study aims to determine the strategy of the Journal of Community Development of Thought Media and Development Da'wah in improving the quality of its articles. The research method in this article uses a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling as a technique for withdrawing the informants. This research uses interviews and documentation studies in data collection. The results of this study are grouped into two parts, namely strategies to improve the ability of journal managers to operationalize OJS, and strategies to improve the quality of articles. Field findings show that training is carried out by bringing in experts, participating in training conducted by the Faculty Journal House and also the University Journal House, as well as several other similar trainings. The second group is the strategy to improve the final quality. There are three things, namely forming a team with clear job descriptions, giving rewards and punishments for the success of the achievements obtained by the journal. The last one is the participation of journal managers in training.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the readiness of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of education to face the industrial revolution 4.0. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach at SMP Pangudi Luhur Salatiga. In this study, the analysis unit was used, namely facilities and infrastructure, while the observation unit was the principal, deputy head of the facilities and infrastructure sector, and educators. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation using triangulation techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out interactively with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Conclusions from the study: (1) the planning of facilities and infrastructure has been carried out well; (2) the procurement of facilities and infrastructure has not been carried out properly, the priority scale is determined by the foundation not the school; (3) the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure has not been carried out optimally; (4) the elimination of facilities and infrastructure has never been carried out by schools, items that are no longer used are put into school warehouses; and (5) there are developments in facilities and infrastructure in the field of technology, while the human resources that are owned are still not professionally trained. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan sarana dan prasarana dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan untuk menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif di SMP Pangudi Luhur Salatiga. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan unit analisis yaitu sarana prasarana, sedangkan yang menjadi unit pengamatan yaitu kepala sekolah, wakil kepala bidang sarana dan prasarana, dan pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pengamatan, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Simpulan dari penelitian: (1) perencanaan sarana dan prasarana sudah dilakukan dengan baik; (2) pengadaan sarana dan prasarana belum dilakukan dengan baik skala prioritas ditentukan oleh yayasan bukan pada sekolah; (3) pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana belum dilakukan secara optimal; (4) penghapusan sarana dan prasarana belum pernah dilakukan oleh sekolah barang yang sudah tidak digunakan dimasukkan kedalam gudang sekolah; dan (5) adanya perkembangan sarana dan prasarana dalam bidang teknologi, sedangkan sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki masih belum yang terlatih secara profesional.

Tirto Arum Baru Kendal Agro Tourism is one of those affected by Covid-19 pandemic. Due to that condition, the manager has to change the marketing strategy that has been carried out. The purpose is to analyze Tirto Arum Baru Kendal Agro-tourism marketing strategy employed in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic using the 7P marketing mix (Product, Price, Promotion, Place, People, Process and Physical Evidence) and a SWOT analysis. This research used qualitative descriptive approach, analyzing managers, employee and visitors as research subjects. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data validity technique used triangulation to compare the results of data collection. The data analysis technique uses data reduction and data presentation to draw conclusions. This research used qualitative descriptive approach, analyzing managers, employee and visitors as research subjects. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The result of the research showed that the marketing strategy analysis carried out by the Tirto Arum Baru Kendal Agro Tourism is in accordance with the 7P marketing mix components. In addition, the implementation of health protocols carried out during the pandemic is used as an example by the Regional Government for other recreational facilities in Kendal Regency.

Abstrak  Mengembangkan Kemampuan Berhitung Permulaan Dengan Metode Jarimatika pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di PAUD DINDA KIDs Kecamatan Bukitraya Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena terdapat permasalahan dalam kemampuan berhitung permulaan pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di PAUD DINDA KIDs Kecamatan Bukitraya Kota Pekanbaru. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode jarimatika dipilih karena dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung permulaan pada anak. Usia 4-5 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak-anak usia 4-5 tahun di PAUD DINDA KIDs Kecamatan Bukitraya Kota Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 10 anak. Objek penelitian ini adalah kemampuan berhitung permulaan pada anak terutama kegiatan membilang dan mengetahui hasil penjumlahan atau pengurangan bilangan 1-10. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, checklist, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui metode jarimatika mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung permulaan anak. Peningkatan dapat dilihat pada hasil penelitian pratindakan dengan rata-rata persentase 37%, setelah dilakukan tindakan pada Siklus I dengan rata-rata persentase 55% dan siklus II dengan persentase rata-rata 88%, dan sudah memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan indikator yang telah ditetapkan sebesar 80%.  Kata  Kunci :  Konsep, Bilangan, Metode Jarimatika Abstract Developing Preliminary Counting Ability With the Jarimatika Method for children aged 4-5 years in DINDA KIDs PAUD, Bukitraya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted because there were problems in the ability to calculate at the beginning of children aged 4-5 years in PAIN DINDA KIDs, Bukitraya Sub-District, Pekanbaru City. Learning by using the Jarimatika method is chosen because it can improve the ability to begin counting in children. Age 4-5 years. This research is a Class Action Research. Subjects in this study were children aged 4-5 years in DINDA KIDs PAUD, Bukitraya District, Pekanbaru City, totaling 10 children. The object of this research is the ability to calculate the beginning of the child, especially the activities of numerating and knowing the sum or reduction of numbers 1-10. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, checklist, and documentation. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive. The results of the study showed that through the Jarimatika method it was able to improve the ability to begin counting children. The improvement can be seen in the results of pre-action research with an average percentage of 37%, after the action in Cycle I with an average percentage of 55% and cycle II with an average percentage of 88%, and has met the criteria of success of indicators that have been set at 80 %.   Keywords: Concept Numbers, Jarimatika Method

This study aims to determine the factors that cause high IQ students who experience learning difficulties so that learning outcomes are low (underachiever). This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to the interpretive-constructivist model. The research subjects were 2 elementary school students who had high IQ but had low learning outcomes under the Minimum Completeness Standard (MCS). Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the factors causing the underachiever were: burdening with the characteristics of not caring about learning and the inability to do learning assignments and a family environment with caring but possessive parents 'attitudes and parents who were more concerned with learning than facilitating students' potential.

This study is motivated by the writer�s preliminary observation to some of the students at SDIT; the mastery of their Arabic vocabularies is not maximal yet. It could be caused by many factors; including the teachers who tend using the old methods such as a drill or with the help of images in teaching Arabic. The purpose of this study is to know the quality of learning Arabic class V SDIT Al-Qonita Palangka Raya by using make a matching model. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection is through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that this model is very suitable to be used in learning Arabic, not only proved to be loved by the students in class V SDIT Al-Qonita Palangka Raya but also effective to achieve the related learning objectives. In the case of learning Arabic in SDIT Al-Qonita Palangka Raya, considering the class is not big class, so they make a matching model is able to improve the learning in general, in terms of making students understand easily, easy of evaluation, easy to master, easy to train these four language skills (istima', Kalam, qira'ah, and kitabah).
