The existence of the covid-19 pandemic in early 2020 hampered all normal human activities, including library activities as one of the actively visited sources of knowledge and information backwards. The temporary suspension of library services is conventionally implemented to anticipate the spread of the covid-19 virus. This researchs aim to determine the role of TBM Jatmika based on six basic literacy according to the world economic forum and the national literacy movement as well as the relationship between basic services between libraries and TBM, where this linkage ultimately includes innovation and alternative library services through indirect synergy efforts. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research and approach by presenting a factual description of the research field. The subject of this research is the general public, especially those around TBM Jatmika. Meanwhile, the object is TBM Jatmika itself. In collecting data, the technique used by researchers was by means of online interviews via the WhatsApp application with Umi Aam as the manager of Jatmika's TBM; conduct literature searches of sources related to the study material; as well as browsing the web and social media owned by TBM Jatmika. The results of this research are TBM Jatmika trying to perfect six basic literacy in his contribution to educating children and the community, especially in the surrounding areas through his programs and routine activities; the variety of collections owned can be accessed by a certain number of visitors considering the existence of covid-19, coupled with the presence of staff and volunteers as assistant managers and mentors with adequate facilities; there are processes that link the continuity of implementation, coordination, activities and relationships with other communities in fulfilling the needs and goals of establishing the Jatmika TBM; provide basic services in the form of lending and borrowing books, reading books on the spot, educational services, and membership services. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that the presence of TBM Jatmika has participated in the innovation of library services in the aspect of external relations in the way that has been previously stated in the research results, but once in the face of a pandemic like this, it is still necessary to create new programs which relevant and effective in order to maximize its service and function as a new adaptive and innovative community reading park in the mission of educating the nation's life. Keywords: library sevices, innovation in pandemic, reading park, jatmikaABSTRAKKeberadaan pandemi covid-19 pada awal tahun 2020 menghambat segala aktivitas normal yang dilakukan manusia, termasuk kegiatan perpustakaan sebagai salah satu sumber ilmu dan informasi yang sebelumnya aktif dikunjungi. Pemberhentian sementara layanan perpustakaan secara konvensional diterapkan guna mengantisipasi penyebaran virus covid-19. Internal migration constitutes a major source of steady flow of population in India, and reports published by the World Economic Forum (WEF),1 2017 state that interstate migration in the country has doubled during 2001–2011, compared to the previous decade.2 In developing countries, such migration is often considered to be an effective way for income diversification for the economically marginalised sections of the society, even though its effect on ‘human development’ is oft debated. This article would engage with this debate and bring out how migration from the Indian part of the Sundarbans to other parts of the country is not only changing the demography of the region but is also having a strong impact on the local perception and attachment towards the deltaic landscape. By bringing in ethnographic details from a village in the Indian Sundarbans, which was predominately inhabited by the fishing community earlier, this article would bring out how traditional occupations like fishing are slowly losing their popularity in the face of the lure of out-migration, as the very identity of the ‘indigenous’ Sundarban fisher folks—who were once rightfully considered to be the true conservator of the forests—is changing. From there, this article would engage with the broader debate of rethinking whether migration can be considered as a positive indicator of development in such ecologically fragile areas like the Sundarban deltas, which used to indeed have a distinct economic, social and cultural life of its own.

The qualitative literature related to health and science journalism often states that little is known about the perspectives of journalists. This is, in part, because of individual studies being like scattered pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. In this article, the authors report the results of a qualitative metasynthesis aimed at reassembling the qualitative literature involving health and science journalists. Comprehensive literature searches gave a data set of 21 studies whose synthesis produced 14 metathemes and four taxonomic groupings. This synthesis is used to show the state of qualitative knowledge and the potential for future research.

AbstractIn the face of world economic crisis, it is worth considering ‘what changes in thinking are needed to revive the global economy?’ Traditional management methods have already lost much of their potential. Keeping the compliance of job category with human nature is an important factor supported by insourcing. The purpose of this study was to answer the question whether the current economic situation in the world is more profitable to firms sending domestic jobs overseas, or perhaps - in the end - it is better to use insourcing services, providing employment to workers in their home countries

The last decade witnessed an explosion of interest in cancer stem cells (CSCs). The realization of epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) as a CSC-related disease has the potential to change approaches in the treatment of this devastating disease dramatically. The etiology and early events in the progression of these carcinomas are among the least understood of all major human malignancies. Compared to the CSCs of other cancer types, the identification and study of EOC stem cells (EOCSCs) is rather difficult due to several major obstacles: the heterogeneity of tumors comprising EOCs, unknown cells of origin, and lack of knowledge considering the normal ovarian stem cells. This poses a major challenge for urgent development in this research field. This review summarizes and evaluates the current evidence for the existence of candidate normal ovarian epithelial stem cells as well as EOCSCs, emphasizing the requirement for a more definitive laboratory approach for the isolation, identification, and enrichment of EOCSCs. The present review also revisits the ongoing debate regarding other cells and tissues of origin of EOCs, and discusses early events in the pathogenesis of this disease. Finally, this review discusses the signaling pathways that are important regulators of candidate EOCSC maintenance and function, their potential role in the distinct pathogenesis of different EOC subtypes, as well as potential mechanisms and clinical relevance of EOCSC involvement in drug resistance.

Cell transplantation is now being explored as a new therapeutic strategy to restore function in the diseased human central nervous system. Neural grafts show long-term survival and function in patients with Parkinson's disease but the symptomatic relief needs to be increased. Cell transplantation seems justified in patients with Huntington's disease and, at a later stage, possibly also in demyelinating disorders. The further development in this research field will require systematic studies in animal experiments but also well-designed clinical trials in small groups of patients.

The primary intension behind this study is to assess and compare policies that deliver inclusive outcomes to economic growth and development across economies of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The EU and Norway (the most inclusive country in 2018) were added into the study as a benchmark countries. As a result of the comparative analysis based on the World Economic Forum Inclusive Growth Policy and Institution Framework, we argue in favor of policies that would increase broad-based human economic opportunities and consequently both equality, and economic well-being of CEE economies. Positive strong influence on inclusive growth and development is associated with the employment and labor compensation policy that allows people directly increase their incomes; the basic services and infrastructure policy which is a necessary ground for present and future human and economic development; the asset building and entrepreneurship policy should provide diminishing inequality and rising economic opportunities by fostering medium and small business creation and enlarging possibilities of home and other asset ownership. In addition, an effective and inclusive redistribution state system of CEE economies should accentuate on supporting broad-based economic opportunities (like productive employment possibilities, asset building and entrepreneurship possibilities), along with infrastructure and human basic services development, rather than solely on social fiscal transfers.

AbstractResilience in the face of major life stressors is changeable over time and with experience. Accordingly, differing sets of neurobiological factors may contribute to an adaptive stress response before, during, and after the stressor. Longitudinal studies are therefore particularly effective in answering questions about the determinants of resilience. Here we provide an overview of the rapidly-growing body of longitudinal neuroimaging research on stress resilience. Despite lingering gaps and limitations, these studies are beginning to reveal individual differences in neural circuit structure and function that appear protective against the emergence of future psychopathology following a major life stressor. Here we outline a neural circuit model of resilience to trauma. Specifically, pre-trauma biomarkers of resilience show that an ability to modulate activity within threat and salience networks predicts fewer stress-related symptoms. In contrast, early post-trauma biomarkers of subsequent resilience or recovery show a more complex pattern, spanning a number of major circuits including attention and cognitive control networks as well as primary sensory cortices. This novel synthesis suggests stress resilience may be scaffolded by stable individual differences in the processing of threat cues, and further buttressed by post-trauma adaptations to the stressor that encompass multiple mechanisms and circuits. More attention and resources supporting this work will inform the targets and timing of mechanistic resilience-boosting interventions.

AbstractUnderstanding facial signals in humans and other species is crucial for understanding the evolution, complexity, and function of the face as a communication tool. The Facial Action Coding System (FACS) enables researchers to measure facial movements accurately, but we currently lack tools to reliably analyse data and efficiently communicate results. Network analysis can provide a way to use the information encoded in FACS datasets: by treating individual AUs (the smallest units of facial movements) as nodes in a network and their co-occurrence as connections, we can analyse and visualise differences in the use of combinations of AUs in different conditions. Here, we present ‘NetFACS’, a statistical package that uses occurrence probabilities and resampling methods to answer questions about the use of AUs, AU combinations, and the facial communication system as a whole in humans and non-human animals. Using highly stereotyped facial signals as an example, we illustrate some of the current functionalities of NetFACS. We show that very few AUs are specific to certain stereotypical contexts; that AUs are not used independently from each other; that graph-level properties of stereotypical signals differ; and that clusters of AUs allow us to reconstruct facial signals, even when blind to the underlying conditions. The flexibility and widespread use of network analysis allows us to move away from studying facial signals as stereotyped expressions, and towards a dynamic and differentiated approach to facial communication.
