The author of the article discloses the prospects of development of the world feed production for aquaculture based on the analysis of key innovative technological and market trends. The author specifies that shortage, high cost, low ecological compatibility of traditional raw materials - fish flour - are among major limiting factors in the development of production of feeds for aquaculture. This fact, in turn, limits sustainable development of aquaculture both in Russia, and in the world in general. The article presents the overview of a current status of the world industry of feed production in aquaculture, where the regional situation is studied, as well. For the first time, there is given the outlook of innovative technologies in feed production based on the alternative sources of protein (on the example of projects of leading aquabiotechnological companies) which will determine industry’s objectives for the mid-term perspective.

Modern domestic feed production is developing at a fairly steady pace, which is facilitated by the increase in the volume and scale of production in the livestock sector. Today, domestic agricultural pro-ducers fully provide the domestic market with pork, poultry and egg. the efficiency of the development of the livestock sector depends on the quality of feed and the fattening system by more than 60%. All this proves the relevance and prospects of studying the dynamics of the development of feed production in order to im-prove the manageability of this area of management, organizational support, identify potential risks and de-velop effective solutions to minimize them. As the basic provisions of the study, it is worth noting: key produc-tion segments of the domestic feed industry; production volumes of mixed feeds, premixes, feed additives and concentrates in Russia; market leaders in the production of mixed feeds at the time of 2019.; the reasons for the transition of large companies to self-feed; the negative factors (risks) which impact on sustainable devel-opment of the Russian market of animal feed; scenarios of development of domestic fodder production in the short term (2–3 years) taking into account the most pressing problems and uncertainties (distribution COVID-19; higher prices for imported feed additives; devaluation; grain yield; volatility of prices for raw materials and components, logistics, etc.); substantiation of the prospects for the development of the Russian food complex against the background of the strengthening of the global problem of hunger and food security.

On-farm compound feed production from self-produced raw materials is favorable to agricultural enterprises under present-day conditions. The authors carried out a comparative technical and economic study of the conventional and modular small-scale on-farm compound feed plants with a capacity of 2 tons per hour, designed for agricultural enterprises with an average livestock population of 6…8 thousand pigs. The proposed modular plant consists of two modules – the operative storage of raw materials and the main module of grinding and mixing. Modules with installed equipment are delivered and placed on a light foundation, connected by transport equipment and with tanks for raw materials and fi nished products. The conventional factory is a technological line housed in a hangar and used for crushing, metering, and mixing raw materials. It consists of a separator, a hammer mill, weighing equipment, a mixer, containers for raw materials and fi nished products, transport, and aspiration equipment. The technical and economic analysis has shown that the erection and operation of the on-farm modular enterprise require 41% less capital investments than a traditional compound feed plant of the same capacity. The use of a small-scale modular plant will reduce operating costs by 23.8% (from 3094 to 2358 thousand rubles), increase the specifi c economic eff ect from the compound feed production by 1.6% (from 8.64 to 8.78 thousand rubles per ton) and return on margin by 4% (from 10.2 to 10.6%), reduce the payback period by 42% (from 0.8 to 0.46 years), and increase the net present value by 3% (from 66167 to 68216 thousand rubles), as compared to a conventional enterprise. The modular on-farm plants producing loose compound feed with a productivity of up to 3 tons per hour are profi table and economically sound as they can increase production effi ciency of compound feeds for farm animals.`

The procedure of traceability of finished product, the regulating actions for tracking of products, beginning from the raw materials used for production of the single-part randomly chosen consumer package of a product and ending with shipment of this product to distributing facilities and also for tracking of processing of randomly chosen raw materials are offered. The traceability system does not guarantee a complete elimination of risk from arrival to the enterprise of improper raw and other materials, but allows tracking and identifying a source of nonconformance, after receiving of problem in quality of finished product. If a source of nonconformance is raw or other materials, then the manufacturer can allocate responsibilities for damage to property to the supplier of these raw or other materials. The procedure of traceability provides carrying out of training exercises at least once a year for determination of efficiency and working capacity of the current system of traceability, and also for identification and elimination of bottlenecks. For monitor and control over the stages of a process flow on the basis of the available database were proved the critical parameters of production process of confectionery, which control will allow to receive a safe product with the set technological and end-user performances. For monitor and control over the stages of a process flow on the basis of the available database on product traceability were proved the critical parameters of production process of confectionery, which control will allow to receive a safe product with the set technological and end-user performances. The accepted system eliminates a possibility of sales of products of nonconforming quality and allows to go back from the established control procedures that promotes the productivity enhancement.

Feed is still one of the problems in aquaculture because it takes about 70% of operational costs. High prices is caused by imported raw materials for feed production. One possible effort to overcome this problem is to find alternative local raw materials to replace imported fish meal. The purpose of this study was to examine the proximate content of shrimp shell wastes from processing shrimp crackers (Paneus sp.) to be used as shrimp flour. Samples were colledted three times in a month, at the beginning, middle and end of the month. The waste of the heads, shells and tails of the shrimp were turned into flour for laboratory testing through proximate analysis. The data were tabulated using the Microsoft Excel softwareand then analyzed descriptively by comparing the nutrient content of shrimp waste flour with the feed requirements of mariculture. The results showed that shrimp shell flour contained protein, fat, carbohydrates and ash content of around 27.4%, 2.07%, 14.84% and 47.27%. while the resulting randemen ranged from 81.75%. Therefore, shrimp shell flour can be used as an alternative raw material for preparing marine fish feed.

Polychlorinated biphenyls have been used as lubricants, insulators, heat conductors and fireretardants; due to their elasticity they have also been widely used in varnishing. Currently their use is in marked decline because of their toxicity and were banned under the Sotckholm Convention (Rossi et. al., 2010).

The article presents statistics on the number of pigs and poultry in Ukraine and Odessa region for 1990-2019 and the results of the calculation of needs for premixes and protein-vitamin supplements (PVS) in Ukraine, and in particular, in Odessa region, the average increase and volumes of compound feed consumption. The main purpose of the calculation is to determine the production potential of premixes and compound feeds in Ukraine and in the region, the cost of compound feeds in poultry farming using different types of premixes and PVS.According to the Main Department of Statistics in Odesa Oblast, the number of pigs has decreased over the past five years, and the number of poultry has increased by 7.3%.The calculation of the need for premixes and PVS is determined by the volume of feed production, the need for which depends on the number of livestock and poultry, data on their average growth and consumption of feed. The method of calculating the number of pigs and poultry (forecast) depending on the needs of the population in livestock food, as well as the results of the forecast of the number of pigs and chickens in Ukraine and Odessa region for 2020-2023, which amounted to 5702, 0 and 173.0 thousand goals, 224.8 and 3.3 million goals, respectively. The calculations taking into account the export-import potential of raw materials showed that in the Odessa region there is a shortage of capacity, namely: P mf forecast = 104819.6 thousand tons.  0, P mf forecast ≥ M year, ie 104819.6  9000.0 thousand tons, so in the Odessa region should provide a feed mill with a capacity of 15 thousand tons per shift in two shifts is appropriate and reasonable. The potential of production and sale of compound feeds in the Odessa region, which is up to 8500 thousand tons of feed, 85 thousand tons of premixes and 2430 thousand tons of PVS, calculated the main producers and consumers of feed products. The estimated economic efficiency of the use of feed enriched with complex premixes, as a result of which it is possible to reduce the cost of obtaining 10 eggs to 280 million UAH. per year, and in the fattening of suckling piglets - zeko-nomity in the production of pork up to 3.15 million UAH.

Assessment of the quality of separation of hydrocarbon raw during its field preparation is necessary to determine the efficiency of the entire technological process of preparation. The absence of complex criteria for assessing the quality of separation for multi-stage processes does not allow one to obtain unambiguous solutions in justifying the process flow diagrams and equipment for separation. We have analyzed the typical technological scheme of separation of hydrocarbon raw materials and existing criteria for separation processes. It is proposed to use the criterion for a comprehensive assessment of the separation processes of hydrocarbon raw materials, allowing calculating the efficiency of the process, taking into account the possible production of intermediate fractions and their qualitative composition
