Education is an important pillar in the development of children's cognition. Since the beginning of human civilization, it was there that education emerged. Education is a series of ways of acquiring knowledge and self-perfection by humans continuously or continuously. Humans are not free from limitations and shortcomings so that to complement these limitations and shortcomings, humans must process, one of which is through the acquisition of knowledge through education. Education obtained by humans is not only through formal education but early education obtained by humans is through the family environment and the community environment.

The title of the research is The Role of Parents in Shaping the Character of Children in the Globalization Era in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. In the current era of globalization, there are many influences, both positive and negative. This negative influence must be avoided because it can affect a person's habits, attitudes, and behavior. Character education is one of the important things that must be applied in the family environment. Parents must reflect good attitudes and habits in interacting in the family environment and in the community environment. This is important for fostering good attitudes and habits in children. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the role of parents in improving children's character in the era of globalization, Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. What factors can influence the formation of children's character in the era of globalization, Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. What efforts are made by parents in shaping children's character in the era of globalization in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. This study aims to determine the role of parents in shaping children's character in the era of globalization in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. The subjects of this study were 6 parents and 6 children in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data analysis in qualitative research is by doing data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City has been good in shaping children's character in the era of globalization.

<pre><em>Human are creatures that struggle intensely with education. That is why humans are called the animal educandum and animal educandus at the same time as educated creatures and educational creatures. In other words, humans are creatures who are always involved in the process of education, both those done to others and to themselves. Weak character in the Indonesian people by fighting bad characters. The mental revolution in the nation consists of 18 characters that must be resisted, namely negative thinking, delaying work, not focusing, lacking in confidence, always pessimistic, lazy, ignorant, easy to give up, greedy, selfish, wasteful, dishonest, anti-change, avoid responsibility, lack commitment, underestimate quality, feudal and hypocritical. Because this condition is background of the birth in  character education consisting of 18 characters contained in the Indonesian nation's education, namely: religious, honest, tolerant, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love for the country, respect for achievement<span style="text-decoration: underline;">,</span> friendly / communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading, caring for the environment, social care, and responsibility </em>(Jurnal kalangwan, Vol. 6, No. 1, Maret 2016:82).<em> Character education has the same essence and meaning as moral education and noble moral education. The aim is to shape the child's personality so that they become better</em><em> </em><em>human beings, good citizens and citizens. Entering the millennial era, various changes occurred very rapidly. The main characteristic of the change that is happening in this millennial era is the rapid cultural change, so that the impact of educational institutions is </em><em>doubtful, so</em><em> that character education is not sufficiently taught within the school </em><em>environment, but</em><em> </em><em>more importantly</em><em> to be taught in the family environment because the family environment is the first and foremost child learning place. </em><em>As well as character education can be made through a good community environment. Because of character development, it is influenced by the community environment where they live and play. The influence of society is very influential in association in the current millennial era. Because of new trends and new understandings adopted from westernization and globalization. So the way to grow character education through the family environment is the first and foremost place, supported by education in the school and community environment.</em></pre>

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konteks deradikalisasi Islam melalui pendidikan multikultural berbasis kearifan lokal. Untuk maksud tersebut, dilakukan penelitian mendalam pada masyarakat Cigugur. Penelitian menghasilkan temuan bahwa sikap toleran, saling menghargai, saling menghormati, dan bahkan saling bekerja sama yang tercipta dalam kehidupan masyarakat Cigugur yang multi agama dan multikultural didukung oleh aktualisasi pendidikan multikultural berbasis kearifan lokal yang mencakup tiga dimensi, yakni dimensi waktu, dimensi tempat, dan dimensi isi. Menurut dimensi waktu, pendidikan diselenggarakan dalam tiga fase, yakni sateuacan nitis (sebelum nitis), sateuacan boboran (sebelum lahir), dan saatosna boboran (setelah lahir). Menurut dimensi tempat, masyarakat Cigugur menyelenggarakan pendidikan di lingkungan keluarga (pendidikan informal), lingkungan sekolah (pendidikan formal), dan lingkungan masyarakat (pendidikan nonformal). Sementara, menurut dimensi isi, terdapat etika sebagai pedoman dan tuntunan berperilaku sosial yakni berupa cara ciri manusia dan cara ciri bangsa. This article aims to describe the context of the de-radicalization of Islam through multicultural education based on local wisdom. For this purpose, conducted in-depth research on Cigugur society. The study produced findings that tolerance, mutual respect, and even cooperate with each other in Cigugur society that’s multi-religious and multicultural, supported by the actualization of multicultural education based on local wisdom that includes three dimensions, namely the dimension of time, the dimensions of the place, and dimensional content. According to the dimension of time, education was held in three phases, namely “sateuacan nitis” (before mariage), “sateuacan boboran” (before birth), and “saatosna boboran” (after birth). According to the dimensions of the place, the people Cigugur education in the family environment (informal education), school environment (formal education) and community (non-formal education). Meanwhile, according to the dimensions of the content, there are ethical guidelines and guidance in social behavior, namely “cara ciri manusia” and “cara-ciri bangsa”.

This study discusses the role of parents in character education for young women according to Islam. This research library research. The main and first character education for children is the family environment. Education in the family is very important and is the main pillar of character building for a child. The family as the smallest social unit is the most important educational environment and is responsible for educating their children. The education provided by parents should provide a basis for children's education regarding the socialization process and their life in society. Good parenting styles will have a good impact on children's development as well as should. The success of character building in children is influenced by the role of parents in educating children. Parents play an important role in forming an intimate and long-lasting interaction system characterized by personal loyalty, love, and affectionate relationships

At this time character education can no longer be ignored because of the role that is very important to improve the moral and morals of children because the moral children of today's nation are getting away from the good word with the modern era of changes that are cultivated in information technology that is growing rapidly renewal. In this PKM activity, to overcome the apparent problems, the team of lecturers Prodi PAI offers PKM implementation with the form of Character Education Education as a Pillar in Building Moral And Child Morals held at PKBM Luthfillah, which is opened for PKBM and general participants. Considering many people who do not have formal education or equality, this counseling is expected to be useful and equip the community about understanding the guidance of Islam in educating children at home in general and about the procedures for the implementation of personal Islamic character education that can be maximally endeavored by each family members, both the head of the family and the representatives and all their members, so as to assist the government in socializing character education for the grass root community in practice level.

Acts of corruption have harmed many people and even tortured themselves. Corruption precaution through education way is considered not effective and encouraging since it could not eradicate corruption act which was committed by each layer of society even from educated to regular people. Moreover, it is not sufficiently enough vanished with the law approach and enforcement. This study is an empirical qualitative research conducted through a literature review and social reconstruction approach. Specifically, the study explains how the concept of a visible anti-corruption character education on religious and national culture-based utilized as a strategic step to instill anti-corruption education among students. The results revealed that the embedding and developing students must be built upon faith and piety to Allah SWT, the optimal noble character, and being settled to the family environment. The learning concept of this notion is varied and arranged systematically, comprehensively, and proportionally according to the percentage of proposed effectiveness.Keywords: Anti-Corruption Education, Religion & National Culture

Hindu teachings contain a lot about character education, morals, ethics and manners. Moral education can be seen in the story of Sundara Kanda, which is a sub of Itihasa in the Ramayana epic that tells the journey of life with various obstacles and tests that must be faced with full fortitude, strength and determination. Every event that occurs in the Sundara Kanda story is a unified narrative unit in resolving the conflict of every event. The setting in this story uses the setting of Mount Mainaka, Alengka Palace, Taman Angsoka, Kiskinda kingdom. The character is Hanuman who becomes a central figure, then there are goddesses Sitā and Ravana. The accompanying figures are Trijata, Wibisana, Anggada, Jembawan, Sugriwa, Laksmana and Rama. Rahwana as the Antagonist, then there are also giants. His mandate is loyalty and determination in carrying out dharma. Character characters contained in the Sundara Kanda story include characterization displayed through the use of the character's name, through the appearance of the character, and characterization through the author's speech. In accordance with the characters contained in Hindu teachings, namely in the book of Bhagawadgita, the characters in the Sundara Kanda story can be grouped into two characters namely daivi sampad and asuri sampad. The values ​​contained in the character of the Sundara Kanda story include religious, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, discipline, and hard work. As a whole, the character's character value is a national character that should be inculcated and developed to the wider community, in order to shape the attitudes and behavior of a person in carrying out the duties and obligations that should be carried out both towards oneself, the family environment, society, nation and state.

One of the visible forms of worship is reading, studying and practicing the contents of the Koran. The ability to read the Koran properly that is owned by a person will increase the enthusiasm to deepen it. Thus, fluency and accuracy in reciting the recitation of the Koran is very important for everyone, because it will lead to validity and failure of one's prayers, and also an encouragement to deepen the study of the Koran. This research was conducted at Lambung Mangkurat University in the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP), the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and the Faculty of Medicine (FK). The focus of research on students' religious behavior is assessed by their ability to read the Koran by the behavior they display in their daily lives. The method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis techniques. Data were collected using participant observation and dept interview techniques. The interview approach used was structured interviews and free interviews. The research was conducted for two months, (October-November, 2019). Data checking was carried out through focus group discussions. There are three categories that this research produces: first, students who have high quality; second, students who have medium quality; and third, have low quality in reading the Koran. The factors that become the difference in quality are caused by the influence of the family environment, the influence of the previous educational environment, and the influence of the community environment.

The purpose of this study is to describe the value of characters found in fairy tales. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with content analysis techniques. The theory used is the theory of children's literature and character education. Source of research data in the form of a fairy tale entitled The Story of Candidate Charcoal by Pramoedya Ananta Toer totaling 100 pages published by PT. Lantern Dipantara in 2003. Data validity was tested using data triangulation and method triangulation. Data analysis is carried out in stages: a) identification of fairy tales as research objects; b) data reduction; c) data presentation; d) interpretation of data according to children's literary theory and character education; e) inference (Miles & Huberman, 1994). The results of the study found fourteen character values, namely: wise, socially caring, fond of reading, prominence, compassion, democratic, good decision-makers, good citizens, care for the environment, religious, respectful, cooperation, curiosity, and brave character. This research shows that fairy tales can be used as teaching materials for character education. However, development research needs to be done regarding increasing crime in the community. Various efforts in transmitting the values of character education to students have been carried out both in the family, school, and community environment.
