The research project aims to enhance organic nutrient management in livestock farms using microbial and enzyme inoculations, with a particular focus on the phosphorus biogeochemical cycle. In order to do this the first approach consists of characterising the chemical and biological properties of farm slurries as a baseline to evaluate possible amendments of the intrinsic properties of the slurry. Consequently, it is pivotal to consider properties such as plant nutrients, i.e., phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium, as well as the microbial community within the slurry. Likewise, attention needs to be paid to soil chemical and biological properties, e.g. pH, salinity and organic matter, as well as to the variety of organisms inhabiting the soil, in order to determine the impact of inoculation on phosphorus cycling and nutrient availability for plant use. Furthermore, it is important to know how soil and its productivity may be influenced by the addition of the inoculated slurry. Of particular interest are also the soil properties which have an effect on plant growth. The pH of soil and, notably, nutrient availability and retention capacity are some of the features on which to direct the research in order to assess the quality of soil and, as a result, the production of a grass crop in livestock farms. The characterisation of these properties will be performed using a variety of approaches, beginning with analysis at laboratory- and mesocosm-scales and progressing to a fieldwork approach in order to evaluate the results directly in a farm system.

An experiment was conducted at Horticultural Research Centre, SVP University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut (UP) during Rabi season of 2018-19 to assess the impact of different INM doses on yield and quality parameters of garlic. A total of ten treatments consisting of combinations of inorganic fertilizers, organic fertilizers and bio-fertilizers like T1- (Control), T2RDF (100:50:50 kg NPK ha-1), T3-RDF + 20 kg sulphur + FYM 20 ton ha-1, T4- RDF + 20 kg sulphur + VC 4 ton ha-1, T5- 75% RDF + 40 kg sulphur + 5 ton FYM ha-1+ PSB 5 kg ha-1, T6-75% RDF + 40 kg sulphur + 2 ton VC + Azotobacter 5 kg ha-1, T7- 75% RDF + 40 kg sulphur + FYM 3 ton + VC 1 ton+ PSB 5 kg + Azotobacter 5kg ha-1, T8- 50% RDF + 40 kg sulphur + FYM 5 ton + VC2 ton + PSB 5 kg ha-1, T9- 50% RDF + 40 kg sulphur + FYM5 ton + VC 2 ton+ Azotobacter 5 kg ha-1and T10- 50% RDF + 40 kg sulphur + FYM 5 ton + VC2 ton + PSB 5 kg + Azotobacter 5 kg ha-1 were used in Randomized Block Design and replicated thrice. Out of these an application of T7 (75% RDF + 40 kg sulphur + FYM3 ton + VC 1 ton ha-1 + PSB 5 kg + Azotobacter 5 kg ha-1) was found to be significantly superior in term of yield and attributing parameters of garlic.

Cloud Gaming is a cutting-edge paradigm in the video game provision where the graphics rendering and logic are computed in the cloud. This allows a user’s thin client systems with much more limited capabilities to offer a comparable experience with traditional local and online gaming but using reduced hardware requirements. In contrast, this approach stresses the communication networks between the client and the cloud. In this context, it is necessary to know how to configure the network in order to provide service with the best quality. To that end, the present work defines a novel framework for Cloud Gaming performance evaluation. This system is implemented in a real testbed and evaluates the Cloud Gaming approach for different transport networks (Ethernet, WiFi, and LTE (Long Term Evolution)) and scenarios, automating the acquisition of the gaming metrics. From this, the impact on the overall gaming experience is analyzed identifying the main parameters involved in its performance. Hence, the future lines for Cloud Gaming QoE-based (Quality of Experience) optimization are established, this way being of configuration, a trendy paradigm in the new-generation networks, such as 4G and 5G (Fourth and Fifth Generation of Mobile Networks).

Increased canola production costs and acres have driven Oklahoma (OK) farmers to ask more questions about their nutrient management recommendations in their production system. A study was conducted in 2011–2013 at Lahoma and Perkins, OK, to evaluate the effect of applying diammonium phosphate (DAP, 18-20-0:N-P-K) directly with seed on crop stand, grain yield, and grain quality of canola. In addition, the impact of proportion nitrogen (N) applied as a preplant and topdress was also evaluated. Diammonium phosphate was banded with the seed at planting at 0, 17, 34, 51, 67, and 84 kg DAP ha−1. Remaining N was applied as urea (46-0-0) either as split (40% preplant and 60% topdress) application or as topdress only. Stand count reduction of up to 71% was observed with seed-placed DAP. However, loss of stand did not impair grain yield due to canola’s ability to compensate for open areas via branching. Application of DAP of up to 84 kg ha−1 with seed may be possible; however, soil and climatic conditions should be considered when deciding how much DAP will be placed with seed. Moreover, when climatic conditions limit early season growth and favor late spring growth, applying all N at topdress (no preplant) tended to provide greater canola grain yield.

We are living through serious problems of environmental pollution, which causes great risks to the well-being of the population. These problems are presented by the bad planning of urban growth, and many times in very bad quality. Industrialization grows in the cities without having an order and an appropriate planning to avoid the damage in our environment. The construction sector is largely responsible for this global pollution that is experienced today. As the years go by, architects aim to improve the quality of their construction and improve our quality of life. New projects arise with strategy and planning, developing a new type of architecture which contemplates the damage it would do to the environment and how this issue could be solved based on its construction development. The profession of architects, or urban planners who are involved in the development of cities, are responsible for creating new developments by designing the impact of climate change. The architectural community carries a great responsibility in designing with the flows of materials, energy, climate change, causes and solutions in mind. Architecture must involve sustainability in its construction process and know how to implement it to cause an environmental impact to satisfy the common welfare.

Conservation agriculture (CA) is characterized by three principles: minimum tillage, even the total absence of tillage in the case of direct seeding (NT), permanent soil cover by mulch, and diversification of crops. Its main objective is to control soil degradation by conserving the physical and biological properties and fertility of the soil, which leads to an improvement in productivity, while preserving the environment. Conventional tillage (CT) used in the arid and semi-arid environments of Morocco (particularly in the study site area of Merchouch) compromise the productivity of established crops in these regions. The work presented consists in the study of the impact of NT on the physico-chemical properties of the soil, especially organic matter (SOM), bulk density (BD), soil moisture (θg), and structural stability (SS) in semi-arid zones. The results show that the use of the NT system positively influences the accumulation of SOM, especially at the soil surface horizon (0-5cm). Concerning θg, there is a significant difference between the two treatments (NT and CT) at the average of the three depths and especially at the horizon 20-40 cm so NT increases the water retention capacity. This study also shows that the mean weight diameter (MWD) of the 3 tests (water, ethanol, and rehumectation) is higher for NT compared to CT. This shows that no-till helped to build a good soil structure over time, which is highly desirable for improving agricultural productivity and conserving natural resources, especially water.

In the world more than 100 types of crops are cultivated on the fodder purposes, including perennial grasses, corn, fodder and forage crops account, which provides about 70% of the livestock’s necessity. Among the perennial grasses, the leading position, both in areas under crops and the yield, is alfalfa crop, which is grown in 165 countries around the world according to the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, especially in the countries of Americas (20-25 million hectares). Furthermore, the palatability ratio of green and dry alfalfa is significantly higher, compared to other legumes perennial grasses. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of alfalfa forage production in the modern forage production. This paper presents the current issues of growing alfalfa on different backgrounds of mineral nutrition. In our country its acreage needs to be expanded to 350 hectares (40% of the acreage of perennial grasses), because the farming biologization without the inclusion this crop in the field, forage and farms crop rotation is theoretically impossible and not feasible. In order to obtain the high biomass of at least 23 tons per hectare and agriculture biologization on gray forest soils of the Republic of Tatarstan we recommend to cultivate alfalfa mixed with awnless rump and meadow fescue in the ratio of 0,70:0,15:0,15. In households with high use of chemicals so that to obtain for more than 36 tons per hectare of green herbage mass in polyspecific grasses, it should prevail crop components (awnless rump and meadow fescue), which are in a leading position, according to the impact on the agro biological properties of the soil of Kama zone of the Republic of Tatarstan.

An experiment was conducted during 2013 -2019 to study the impact of intergrated nutrient management through organic matter recycling (OMR) on the soil properties, leaf nutrient status and yield of coconut and its components crops at Regional Coconut Research Station (AICRP on Palms), Bhatye, Maharashtra, India. The experiment was laid out in 0.40 ha with four treatments namely T1, T2, T3 and T4. Results showed that, INM practices significantly improved the soil physico-chemical, biological properties and leaf nutrient status, whereas it was more prominent for the T1 treatment. The soil organic carbon content during post experimental period gradually increased in the organic recyclable treatment under cropping system (0.80 to 0.86%) compared to monocropping (0.60%). The recyclable biomass produced from the system varied between 9.0 - 18.0 t/ha/year and vermicompost produced was 4.8 to 10.2 t/ha/year by composting through earthworm. The nut yield (147.2 and 138.4 nuts/palm), copra output (25.75 and 23.06 kg/palm) and oil output (17.11 and 15.72 kg/palm) under treatment T1 and T2 were on par and differed significantly compared to monocrop. This research has purposes to know how the impact of the effectiveness of the technology information application to the quality of financial report in the regency area governance. This methods used into this research is verification descriptive. The data collected by spreading questioners that use semantic defferensial scale on its scoring. To assess the impact of effectiveness of the application of information technology (X) to the quality of financial report (Y), then used simple linear regression. Where as to know how much the impact that is given to the variable of independence, then use coefficient of determination. The result of the analysis shows that the applied of effectiveness information technology has positive impact to the quality of financial report in regency governance. Effectiveness of the application of information technology give impact 53,0% to the quality of financial report of the official regency governance, the agency and office in the environment of Sukabumi regency. While the rest 47,0% is the impact of another factors outside effectiveness of the application of information technology.

Objectives: The objectives of this study were to describe the impact of systemic sclerosis associated interstitial lung disease, on quality of life, to estimate the correlation between quality of life and severity of lung disease and to assess the impact of interstitial lung disease on caregivers. Methods: Seven investigators included systemic sclerosis associated interstitial lung disease patients from December 2019 to April 2020. Sociodemographics and clinical data were collected. Patients reported outcomes and questionnaires were used with 1 generic patients reported outcome (EQ-5D-5L), 1 specific PRO (Brief Interstitial Lung Disease) and 2 self-reported questionnaires on impact of SSc complications and impact on caregivers. The correlation between forced vital capacity and EQ-5D-5L score was estimated with a multivariate linear regression model adjusted on several covariates. Results: In all, 89 patients were included. 26.4% were males, mean age was 58.2 ± 14.5 years. Mean EQ-5D-5L score = 0.79 ± 0.22 (median = 0.85). Mean EQ-5D-5L visual analog scale score = 60.8 ± 20.4 (median = 61.5). Mean King’s Brief Interstitial Lung Disease score = 58.4 ± 12.7 (median = 58.0). After adjustment on covariates, a significant correlation between forced vital capacity and EQ-5D-5L score was found with an increase of 0.003 of the EQ-5D-5L score for a 1% increase of FVC (p = 0.0096). No significant correlation between forced vital capacity and the EQ-VAS and King’s Brief Interstitial Lung Disease score were found. The impact of SSc on other organs was significantly correlated with EQ- 5D-5L score, respectively, for the impact scores on the lung system (p = 0.0003), heart system (p = 0.0182), Raynaud’s syndrome (p = 0.0015), digestive system (p = 0.0032), joints/muscles (p = 0.0003), skin (p < 0.0001), kidney (p = 0.0052) and gastro-oesophageal reflux (p = 0.0063). Significant correlations between King’s Brief Interstitial Lung Disease score and lung system (p < 0.0001), heart system (p < 0.0001), digital ulcers (p = 0.058), digestive system (p < 0.0001), kidney (p = 0.0004), skin (p = 0.0499) and gastro-oesophageal reflux (p = 0.0033) scores were found 68.5% of patients reported their need for a caregiver to help them in their daily life activities. Conclusion: Our study highlighted the strong burden of systemic sclerosis associated interstitial lung disease` for patients, especially with an impact on quality of life, on other organs manifestations and need for caregivers in their daily life.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to identify levels of self-compassion in adults who do and do not stutter and to determine whether self-compassion predicts the impact of stuttering on quality of life in adults who stutter. Method Participants included 140 adults who do and do not stutter matched for age and gender. All participants completed the Self-Compassion Scale. Adults who stutter also completed the Overall Assessment of the Speaker's Experience of Stuttering. Data were analyzed for self-compassion differences between and within adults who do and do not stutter and to predict self-compassion on quality of life in adults who stutter. Results Adults who do and do not stutter exhibited no significant differences in total self-compassion, regardless of participant gender. A simple linear regression of the total self-compassion score and total Overall Assessment of the Speaker's Experience of Stuttering score showed a significant, negative linear relationship of self-compassion predicting the impact of stuttering on quality of life. Conclusions Data suggest that higher levels of self-kindness, mindfulness, and social connectedness (i.e., self-compassion) are related to reduced negative reactions to stuttering, an increased participation in daily communication situations, and an improved overall quality of life. Future research should replicate current findings and identify moderators of the self-compassion–quality of life relationship.
