This research aimed to determine the improve in mastery of students' physics concepts through the application of an advanced organizer model on material momentum and impulses. The research method used was quasy experiment with pretest posttest control group design. The research population is all students of class X MIPA SMAN 1 Rumbio Jaya which is a sample of research with class X MIPA 1 as an experimental class totaling 23 students and class X MIPA 2 as a control class of 24 students. The research instrument used the concept mastery test questions. Data were analyzed descriptively by looking at absorption, learning effectiveness and the results of students' concept mastery scores and analyzed inferentially using the T-test. Descriptive analysis results obtained an average absorption of experimental class students by 81.61% with the effectiveness of learning categorized effectively. Furthermore, for the mastery of the concept of each experimental class indicator on the first and second indicators obtained very good categories, the third indicator obtained the medium category and the fourth indicator with a low category. The results of inferential analysis obtained a significant increase in the mastery of student concepts in the class applying the Advance Organizer learning model to the classroom with conventional learning. Based on the results of the research, the advanced organizer learning model can improve students' mastery of the concepts in the material momentum and impulses of class X SMAN 1 Rumbio Jaya.

This research is based on the problems the generic life skills of students who are still low. The effort that can be done is to apply the Advanced Organizer learning model assisted by project in the excretion system material at SMAN 3 Sukabumi. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of Advance Organizer learning model assisted by project on generic life skills of students of SMAN 3 Sukabumi. The type of research used quasi-experiment with Nonequivalent control group design. In this study the sampling technique used purposive sampling. The samples in this study were grades XI8 and XI5. The instruments used test questions, attitude scale, observation sheet and response questionnaire. The results of data analysis showed that the average N-gain test scores of experimental class 0.77 and a control class 0.47. The average attitude scale of the experimental class 80% and the control class 83%. The average observation sheet of the experimental class 91% and the control class 73%. The average response questionnaire of the experimental class to material 89%, to learning model 83% and to generic life skills 84%. Based on the prerequisite test data the results of the study were normally distributed and homogeneous. The result of research by hypothesis testing with the Z-test show Zhitung=8 > ZTabel=1,96 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion is that the Advanced Organizer learning model assisted by projects has an influence on students' generic life skills.Keywords: Advanced Organizer assisted by the project, generic life skills

The learning process of physics at school, the topics is sometime less relatedto the existing dailylifephenomenon.This condition causes low improvement of students' cognitive learning result. In this case, it was a necessary to apply a learning model to improve student learning result by applying phenomenon based learning model (PhenoBL). Quasi experiment in the form of nonequivalent control group design as the model of the research. The instrument to collect data used test of student cognitive at pretest and posttest, respectively. The Data was analyzed by descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of descriptive analysis show the average absorption rate of experiment class is 71.05% and control class is 63.33% which both classes are in a good category. In the paired sample t-test results stated an increasing of students cognitive learning outcomes from pretest to posttest. This can also be seen from the inferential analysis in that means there was a significant differences between experimental class and kontrol class. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of PhenoBL model can improve student learning outcomes of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru on optical material.

Mathematical communication skills of students are still relatively low. One learning model can improve students 'mathematical communication skills and at the same time students' mathematical disposition is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The aim to be achieved is to find out the improvement of students 'mathematical communication skills and mathematical disposition using PBL models in terms of students' initial mathematical level. This research is an experimental research design with pretest posttest control group design. The research population was Grade VII students of SMP 9 Langsa. Students are grouped into two classes namely the experimental class and the control class randomly selected from eight parallel classes. The instrument used was a test of mathematical communication skills and a mathematical disposition questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using two-way ANOVA. The results showed that improving students 'mathematical communication ability and students' mathematical disposition by applying PBL learning models is better than students applying conventional learning models. There is no interaction between the PBL learning model with student level on mathematical communication skills and students' mathematical disposition. Abstrak Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah. Salah satu model pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan sekaligus disposisi matematis siswa adalah model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan yang ingin dicapai ialah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan disposisi matematis menggunakan model PBL ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pretest postest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Langsa. Siswa dikelompokkan menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang dipilih secara acak dari delapan kelas paralel. Instrumen yang digunakan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket disposisi matematis. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan anova dua arah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan disposisi matematis siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran PBL lebih baik dari pada siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran PBL dengan level siswa terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan disposisi matematis siswa. AbstractThis study aims to examine the effect of the application of the Jurisprudential Inquiry learning model to students' ability to argue. The research approach uses a quantitative approach with the Quasi Experiment method with The Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The study population was all grade X students in SMA Dua May. The sample was students of class X IPS 1 and X IPS 2, each of which numbered 32, the samples were taken by purposive sampling. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential statistics using the independent sample t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, there are significant differences in the ability to argue between groups of students who learn to use the Jurisprudential Inquiry Learning Model and groups of students who learn by using the Conventional Learning Model. Where is t-count> t-table (10,639> 1,697). Jurisprudential Inquiry learning model influences 23.14% in the experimental class on the ability to argue students. Thus the Jurisprudential Inquiry learning model has a positive effect on students' ability to argue. Keywords: Learning Model, Jurisprudential Inquiry, Ability to Argue. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran yuriprudensi inquiry terhadap kemampuan berargumentasi peserta didik. Metode metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Quasi Eksperimen. Desain quasi eksperimen adalah The Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X di SMA Dua Mei. Sampelnya adalah peserta didik kelas X IPS 1 dan X IPS 2 yang masing-masing berjumlah 32, sampel diambil dengan cara purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan statistic inferensial menggunakan uji-t independent sample test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berargumentasi yang signifikan antara kelompok peserta didik yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran yurisprudensi inquiry dengan kelompok peserta didik yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dimana thitung > t-tabel (10.639 > 1,697). Model pembelajaran yurisprudensi inquiry berpengaruh sebesar 23,14 % pada kelas eksperimen terhadap kemampuan berargumentasi peserta didik. Dengan demikian maka model pembelaran yurisprudensi inquiry berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berargumentasi peserta didik.

The learning outcomes of class X SMA PGRI METRO students based on the Pre-survey results are still many who have not met the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) ≥ 65. In the learning process students are less active to ask questions and less accustomed to collaborating with other friends. One alternative learning is to use an advanced expository type organizer learning model. the advanced organizer type expository learning model is a learning model that directs students to the material they are going to learn by recalling concepts related to the previous material so that students are able to discover new knowledge by expanding the understanding of the basic concepts of students. So the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using an expository type advanced organizer learning model on the learning outcomes of class X SMAPGRI Metro. This study uses a QuasiExperimental Design research design. The quasi-experimental design used in this study is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively statistically. The subjects of this study were the eleventh grade students of SMAPGRI Metro which numbered 26 students. The results showed that t count> t table is 6.802> 2.056 so that it rejects the null hypothesis (H_0). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: the advance organizer type expository learning model has an influence on student learning outcomes.

 This research aimed to determine the differences in the improvement of students' physics learning independence through the application of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model. This type of research used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample was determined from the population of class XI IPA students of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru, based on the results of the normality and homogeneity tests of the population. Classes that were declared normal and homogeneous, two classes were randomly selected as the control class (36 students) and the experimental class (36 students). The data collection instrument used a student learning independence questionnaire for pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained the independent learning average of the experimental class was 2.71 with the high category and the control class 2.47 with the low category. The results of the inferential analysis show that there are significant differences in student learning independence before and after learning by applying the TAI learning model. Therefore, the use of the TAI learning model can improve the learning independence of class XI IPA students of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru on the material of optical instruments.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual pada pokok bahasan hidrokarbon terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan  eksperimen semu dengan rancangan nonequivalent pre-test post-test control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Penebel tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimendan siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Siswa di kelas eksperimen dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kontekstual dan siswa di kelas kontrol dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran discovery. Data hasil belajar kimia siswa dikumpulkan dengan cara testing menggunakan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Analisis deskriptif hasil belajar kimia siswa dideskripsikan berupa skor rata-rata pre-test dan post-test siswa. Analisis inferensial hasil belajar kimia siswa menggunakan analisis kovarian (Anakova) dengan taraf signifikansi 0.05 dan uji dilakukan dengan bantuan SPSS 16 for windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa. Skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen (73.42) lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol (64.26).  Katakunci: model pembelajaran kontekstual, model pembelajaran discovery, hasil belajar kimiaABSTRACTThis reseach aim to describe the influence of the contextual learning model to chemistry student’s achievement. It is a quasi-experiment reseach with nonequivalent pre-test post-test control group design. The population was the eleventh-grade student’s of SMA Negeri 1 Penebelon academic year 2018/2019. The samples werethe students of XI MIPA 1 class as experimental class and the students of XI MIPA 2 class as control class that selected with cluster random sampling technique. The students in the experimental class learned through the contextual learning model and the ones in the control class learned through the discovery learning model. The data on the chemistry student’s achievement were collected through the test of the achievement test. The data were analyzed through descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysisof chemistry student’s achievement were described in the form of the mean score of student’s pre-test and post-test. Inferential analysis of chemistry student’s achievement were used covarian analysis (Anacova) with 0.05 significance level and it was performed by the assist of SPSS 16 for windows. The results showed that there were the significant effect of contextual learning model to the chemistry student’s achievement. Abstract The aims of the research are analyze the improvement of students’ concept mastery and science process skills through the implementation of Brain based Learning using integrated instruction of webbed and connected types on the topic of Global Warming.  The method adopted was quasi experiment with the pretest-posttest control group design. The research instruments employed consisted of written tests of concept mastery and science process skills in the forms of multiple choice questions, observation sheets of the implementation of instruction for teachers and students, and response questionnaires for teachers and students. Research results show that there was not significant difference between the use of Brain based Learning model of connected compare to webbed types in improving students’ science process skills and concept mastery, with mean N-Gain scores for students’ both of them in the webbed-integrated and connected-integrated classes were both categorized as moderate. In addition, results of teachers’ and students’ response questionnaires reveal good responses to the learning model. Menggunakan metode penelitian Quasi Experiment dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes penguasaan konsep dan tes KPS berbentuk tes tertulis jenis pilihan ganda, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran bagi guru dan peserta didik, serta angket tanggapan guru dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penerapan Brain based Learning tipe keterpaduan webbed dibandingkan dengan tipe keterpaduan connected untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dan penguasaan konsep dimana rerata N-Gain baik untuk KPS maupun penguasaan konsep pada kelas keterpaduan connected dan  kelas keterpaduan webbed berada pada kriteria sedang. Hasil angket tanggapan guru dan peserta didik memberikan tanggapan baik terhadap model pembelajaran. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kontekstual Terhadap Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Anak Kelompok B Tk Gugus I Kecamatan Kuta Selatan. Jenis peneltian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eskperiment) dengan rancangan Desain non equivalent post test only control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 269 anak kelompok B TK Gugus I Kecamatan Kuta Selatan. Sampel pada penelitian ini diperoleh menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan metode rubrik penilaian kemampuan membaca permulaan. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan mengunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Analisis statistik inferensial menggunakan uji-t ditemukan nilai thitung 12,586 dengan db = 34 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, sedangkan thitung > ttabel. Sehingga ini dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok anak yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kontekstual dengan kelompok anak yang tidak memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak. Kata-kata kunci : Pembelajaran Kontekstual, Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan, Anak Kelompok B AbstractThis research aim to knowing the effects of the contextual learning model on the ability to read the beginning of child group b of kindergarten group I sub-district South Kuta. This type of research is an experimental research pseudo (quasi-experiment) with a non-equivalent post-test only control group design. The population on this research is 269 child group b of kindergarten group I sub-district South Kuta. Sample on this research is obtained using technique Simple Random Sampling. The data collection method used is a data collection method in the form of observation and assessment rubric method read the beginning. Data collected analyzed with used descriptive statistics analysis and inferential analysis. Statistics inferential analysis used t – test value obtained tcount 12,586 for db = 34 on significance level 5%. while tcount> t table. This research aim to examine the effect of multimedia assisted inquiry training learning model for students physic concept mastery. This type of research is quasi experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The research population was all students of XI MIA MAN 2 Mataram with a purposive sampling technique. The XI MIA 4 class was chosen as the experimental class and the XI MIA 3 class as the control class. hypothesis testing using independent t-test with 5% of significance level. Hypothesis testing yielded the concept mastery t count is 3.20 higher than the t table which has a value of 1.99. Based on the provisions, Ho is rejected and it is concluded that there are differences in mastery of physics concepts due to the practice of multimedia assisted inquiry training learning model. It means that there is a better increase of concepts mastery in the experimental class than the control class. This result can be proved by the N-gain test, where there is an increase of 53.92% in the medium category for concept mastery in the experimental class greater than the control class with an increase of 41.92% in the medium category.
