Preconception care is any intervention provided to women and couples of childbearing age, regardless of pregnancy status or desire, before pregnancy, to improve health outcomes for women, newborns and children. The aim this study was to assess level of knowledge among reproductive aged women and to find out association between selected demographic variables and knowledge. A descriptive cross sectional research design was used to conduct the study. Non probability purposive sampling technique was used to select 220 reproductive aged women in Pokhara, Metropolitan city-32; Janachautra, Malmul. Data was collected through structured interview schedule and analyzed using SPSS version 16. Data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi-square test. The findings revealed that about 20 percent of respondents possessed poor knowledge followed by 64.5 percent of the respondents possessed average level of knowledge and 15.5 percent of respondents possessed good level of knowledge. The mean score for the level of knowledge was 50.6±10.6. There was statistically significant association between level of knowledge on preconception care with education, number of children, heard about preconception care, source of information (p<0.005). It concludes that majority of the respondents had average level of knowledge so, awareness program is required to to prevent the health risks of women and offspring in the near future and to improve the different aspects of knowledge regarding preconception care.

Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Association among variables was measured by Kruskal–Wallis H test. Result: More than half of the 200 women surveyed, 133 (66.5%) had average level of knowledge and 61 (30.5%) adequate and 6 (3%) inadequate level of knowledge regarding preconception care. Similarly, 196 (98%) had low utilization and 4 (2%) had high utilization level. There was statistically significant association between educational level of respondents with the level of knowledge (p=0.05) and their husband’s educational level (p=0.00). There was no significant association with age, type of family, occupation, monthly family income, number of pregnancy, history of abortion/still birth and age at first pregnancy. Conclusion: This study shows more than half of respondents had an average level of knowledge about preconception care whereas only 2% had high level of utilization of care.

Sale village consists of 86 families with a number of children to 58 children aged 1 to 4 years, 31 of them are users of milk bottles. A survey from March to November 2014 data obtained 30% of the existing number of infants with diarrhea.Research purposes. To determine the corelation of maternal behavior in cleaning milk bottles with the incidence of diarrhea in the village of Sale District of Plaosan Magetan.Methods. The research design correlation with the approach of cross sectional method. Subjects were 31 mothers who have children with saturated sampling technique in which the entire population is used as a sample. Data obtained by questionnaire to determine the behavior of the mother in cleaning the bottles and the incidence of diarrhea in infants. The data obtained and analyzed by chi-square test with p = 0.05.Results. shows the behavior of the mother in cleaning milk bottle with both categories as many as 11 people (35.48%) and bad category 20 (64.52%) whereas the incidence of diarrhea result children who often experience diarrhea as many as 16 children (51.61% ) and rarely experience diarrhea as many as 15 infants (48.39%). Results of analysis using the chi-square test p 0.04 was obtained so that the value of p <0.05, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The conclusion from this study is that there are corelation mother's behavior in cleaning milk bottles with the incidence of diarrhea in the village of Sale District of Plaosan Magetan. Keywords: Behavior, Milk Bottle Hygiene, incidence of diarrhea.

Abstract: Mother's knowledge about breastfeeding techniques will bring a deep understanding of the good or bad impacts of giving breast milk. The method in this study uses a cross sectional research design with the population of all post-partum mothers in the work area of the Wori Health Center in Manado. Sampling is done by non-probability sampling with pruposive sampling technique. The number of samples is 51 respondents. Data is presented in the form of Frequency Tables. Data analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square analysis method. The results of the study, the majority of respondents have good knowledge and attitude. Respondents who use the wrong breastfeeding technique for respondents who have poor attitudes and knowledge. From the chi-square obtained results from the level of knowledge with breastfeeding techniques with a value of p = 0.00 smaller than α = 0.05. Whereas the attitude for breastfeeding technique has a value of p = 0.01 smaller than α = 0.05. In conclusion, the results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes with breastfeeding techniques in postpartum mothers. Keywords: Knowledge Level, Attitude, and Breastfeeding Techniques Abstrak: Pengetahuan ibu tentang teknik menyusui akan membawa pemehaman yang mendalam pada dampak baik ataupun buruknya pemberian ASI. PT Arto Metal International is one of the metal components manufacturers, where theproduction processes are using machinaries which its operations may lead to accidents. One ofthe effects that can be caused by the production machines might happen if workers are notcareful, they might got pinched by plong engine, etched plates and exposed debris grams. Therefore, this study aims to determine the factors associated with the incidence of workplaceaccidents in this company. The methods used in this study were analytical methods, because this researchexamined the relationship between 2 (two) variables. Based on its times, this study wascategorized as cross-sectional study, due to variables such as risk factors and effect factorswere observed at the same time. Sampling technique was done by simple random sampling, and analysis was used to determine the relationship between 2 (two) variables using Chi Square. The results showed that employees injured at workplace as much as 94.3%. Theresults of analysis of Chi - Square showed that there were four variables significantlyassociated with the incidence of workplace accidents, they were the use of PPD to theincidence of occupational injuries (p value = 0.025), the level of knowledge to the incidence ofoccupational injuries (p value = 0.047), the ages to the incidence of occupational injuries (pvalue 0.025) and the length of services to the incidence of occupational injuries (p value0.005).Therefore, it is suggested that the company perform incident controlling actionswhether technically, administratively as well as adding a number of Personal ProtectiveDevices (PPD) for workers so that all workers can use it while working. Keywords: Workplace Accident, Personal Protective Devices

Introduction: The coverage of MKJP were 6.99% (implants), 7.15% (IUD), 2.78% (MOW), and 0.53% (MOP) indicating the use of MKJP contraceptive methods in Indonesia decreased from the previous year (RI Ministry of Health, 2018). The low use of MKJP has been a cause of stagnation in birth rates over the past decade. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between service costs, husband support and fear of action against the use of long-term contraception methods at the Umi Rahma Clinic in Bekasi in 2019 Method: Using descriptive analytic design with Cross Sectional approach. The study population was all EFA women who performed family planning at the Umi Rahma Clinic in Bekasi in 2019, a sample of 50 respondents using the Accidental Sampling technique using a questionnaire. This study uses univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square statistical tests Result: . Chi-Square statistical test results service costs for the use of MKJP obtained P-Value 0.002, support for the husband of the use of MKJP obtained P-Value 0.001, fear action against the use of MKJP obtained P-Value 0.001. Discussion: Long-Term Contraception Methods, because costs greatly affect all actions that will be taken by couples of childbearing age, one of which is in the selection or decision-making on the use of contraceptive methods. In conclusion there is a relationship between service costs , husband support and fear of action towards the use of MKJP.
