The Effect of I-CARE Learning Model on the Students' Metacognition

The general objective of this study was to find and analyze empirically the effect of the I Care learning model on the students' metacognition. The method used in this research was the experimental method. The affordable population in this study was grade X students of SMK Assyafiah which is located at Jalan Bukit Duri No.29, South Jakarta 2016/2017 academic year. The sample of the study was 60 students obtained through random sampling method that the researcher mixed in the population so that all subjects were considered the same. Data collection was done by documentation techniques (learning model variables) and test techniques (student metacognition variables). The collected data was then analyzed using the t-test. Before the data was analyzed, first descriptive statistical analysis and data requirements test (normality test, homogeneity test) were carried out. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of the I Care learning model on the students' metacognition. In other words, students' metacognition who used the I Care learning model was higher than the students' metacognition who used constructivism learning model.

Abstract. This research is a classroom action research  that aims to improve the students’ learning outcomes of IPA in class VII A, through the Iqro’ learning model with support of video media in SMP Negeri 2 Amali at Bone regency. Subject of this research consisted of 18 students of class VII A of SMP Negeri 2 Amali consisting of 10 men and 8 women in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. This research was conducted in two cycles with six meetings. The data retrieval of students’ learning outcomes is done in the end of every cycle. Technique of data collection in this research used instrument in the form of a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice consist 25 numbers. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The result of data analysis showed that the average value of students learning outcomes increase from 70,78 in the end of cycle I increase to 85,11 in cycle II. The completeness of students’ learning outcomes in the end of cycle I 61,11% and become 88,89 in cycle II. It can be conclude that the Iqro’ learning model with video media improve the students’ learning outcomes of IPA in class VII A SMP Negeri 2 Amali at Bone regency. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ingin mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Universitas Bangka Belitung. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 321 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh pada indikator plan sebesar 4,11, Indikator preference sebesar 4,00, Sedangkan indikator desire yaitu sebesar 3,39 bahwa minat berwirausaha mahasiswa dalam kategori tinggi,. Pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan dalam kategori efektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pendidikan kewirausahaan berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap minat berwirausaha. Simpulan penelitian menyatakan bahwa semakin efektif pendidikan kewirausahaan yang diberikan, maka semakin tinggi juga minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Universitas Bangka Belitung. Abstract: The aims of study is to know the influence of entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial interest of Bangka Belitung University students.The sample of this study was 321 respondents. Using proportional random sampling for technique sampling. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analyses. The results of the descriptive analysis are obtained in the plan indicator of 4.11, preference indicator of 4.00, while the desire indicator is 3.39 that the interest of entrepreneurial students in the high category. The influence of entrepreneurship education in effective category. The results show an entrepreneurial education that is simultaneously influential towards entrepreneurial interest. The more effective research is the entrepreneurial education, the higher the interest of students from the University of Bangka Belitung.

This study aims to study the interaction of Intellectual Auditory and Repetition (AIR) learning on mathematical problem solving abilities and self-efficiency of students in Class X of SMA Negeri 1 NA IX-X Aek Batu City. The population of this study was all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 NA IX-X Aek Batu City in the 2018/2019 academic year while the sample was class X-IPA 2 which was studied by 40 students. Data collection techniques using essay tests (pretest and posttest) were used for problem solving and the questionnaire was used for self efficacy. Data were analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. From these results, obtained tcount> ttable: 18.78> 1.83 and the significant value is smaller than the significant level value that is 0.002 <0.05. Therefore it is the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model for students' mathematical problem solving abilities. For self efficacy, 80% results were obtained, thus positive student self efficacy towards the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model. Can solve the problem of mathematical compatibility and significant student self-efficacy towards the Auditory Intellectualual learning model and the Repetition model.

This study aims to examine the effect of the work environment (X) on employee performance (Y) at PT. Budi Anugrah Bersama. The approach taken is quantitative and type of research (explanatory research). The population and sample in the study were 61 people. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and questionnaires. Likert scale variables are examined. The questionnaire was tested with a validity test and a reliability test. Data processing using SPSS version 21.0, analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis testing with simple linear regression.The validity test results for the working environment are valid because r > 0.3 and the reliability test shows reliable because of alpha cronboarch> 0.6. Normality test is obtained at 0.05 and it is said that the data is normally distributed and on the normal line the plot shows the point of the graph spreading around the diagonal line and following the diagonal line.The conclusion of this study has a significant effect on the work environment by 72% on the performance of employees at PT.Budi Anugrah Bersama.Keywords: Working Environment, Employee Performance

<p>The general objective of this research is to discover and analyze empirically the <br />influence of mastery learning math concepts and creativity together to discipline <br />behavior. Affordable population in this study was student of mathematics university fourth semester regular morning Indraprasta PGRI South Jakarta. 100 samples are obtained through a multi- stage random sampling method. The research design used through correlation techniques with three variables consisting of two independent variables, namely mastery of mathematical concepts and creativity in learning as well as the dependent variable, namely behavioral discipline. Data was collected through questionnaire techniques (variable learning creativity and disciplined behavior) and engineering tests (variable mastery of mathematics concepts). The collected data were <br />then analyzed using correlation and multiple regression techniques. Before the data were analyzed, first performed descriptive statistical analysis and test data requirements (normality test, linearity, and multicollinearity test). The results showed that: there is a significant influence mastery of mathematical concepts and creativity to learn the discipline of behavior, with a correlation coefficient of 0.781 and 0.610 coefficient of determination or 61 % mastery learning math concepts and creativity jointly influence the behavior of the discipline. The resulting regression equation y = 42.693 + 0.279X1 + 0.505X2. This may imply that the higher a person's mastery of mathematical concepts the better the behavior of the higher discipline and creativity to learn the higher discipline <br />behavior. <br /> <br /><br /></p>

ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh  model pembelajaran problem posing berbantuan scaffolding terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa  dan mengetahui bagaimanakah peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMA  yang terdiri dari 10 kelas dan jumlah keseluruhan siswa kelas X sebanyak 407 orang. Sedangkan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih dua kelas yang menjadi sampel penelitian secara random sampling, didapat kelas X MIA 6 dan X MIA 5 yang masing-masing berjumlah 40 orang. Kelas experiment yaitu kelas X MIA 6 menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Posing Berbantuan Scaffolding dan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas X MIA 5 menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Konvensional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment. Sebagai alat pengumpul data digunakan data pretest dan postest dalam bentuk test isian pada materi teorema phytagoras untuk pretest dan materi aturan sinus dan cosinus untuk postest, dimana masing-masing soal berjumlah 9 soal yang sudah divalidkan. Selanjutnya untuk alat pengumpul data yang lain digunakan juga data N-Gain, data ini diperlukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada kelas experiment dan kelas kontrol. Sebelum dilakukan uji normalitas dan homogenitas sebagai syarat uji hipotesis, terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata data pretest.  Hasil penelitian  kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran problem posing berbantuan scaffolding lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran problem posing berbantuan scaffolding dengan kata lain “terdapat pengaruh  model pembelajaran problem posing berbantuan scaffolding terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa”.Pada data N-Gain untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada kelas experiment dan kelas kontrol diperoleh hasil bahwa jumlah siswa pada kelas experiment yang memiliki N-Gain tinggi sebanyak 10 siswa ataupun 25% , jumlah siswa pada kelas experiment yang memiliki N-Gain sedang sebanyak 23 siswa ataupun 57,5%, dan jumlah siswa pada kelas experiment yang memiliki N-Gain rendah sebanyak 7 siswa 17,5%, sedangkan jumlah siswa pada kelas kontrol yang memiliki N-Gain tinggi sebanyak 6 siswa ataupun 15%, jumlah siswa pada kelas kontrol yang memiliki N-Gain sedang sebanyak 13 siswa ataupun 32,5%, dan jumlah siswa pada kelas kontrol yang memiliki N-Gain rendah sebanyak 21 siswa 52,5%, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis kelas experiment lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Kata Kunci : Quasi Experiment, Problem Posing, Scaffolding ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine whether there is an effect of learning model of problem posing scaffolding assisted to the mathematical communication ability of grade X S and know how improvement of mathematical communication ability students. The population in this study is the entire which consists of 10 classes and the total number of students of class X as much as 407 people. While the sample in this study selected two classes that become random sampling samples, obtained class X MIA 6 and X MIA 5, each amounting to 40 people. The experiment class is X Class MIA 6 using model of Problem Posing Scaffolding Assisted and control class ie class X MIA 5 using Conventional Learning Model. This type of research is quasi experiment. As a data collection tool, we use pretest and postest data in the form of content test on phytagoras theorem material for pretest and sine and cosine rules for posttest, where each problem is 9 validated questions. Furthermore, for other data collection tools used also N-Gain data, this data is needed to know how to improve students' mathematical communication ability in experiment class and control class. Prior to the normality and homogeneity test as a condition of hypothesis testing, firstly tested the similarity of two average pretest data.  Research result  can be concluded that the mathematical communication ability of grade X students which is taught using learning model of scaled-assisted problem posing is higher than mathematical communication ability of grade X students which is taught without using problem learning model with scaffolding assisted by word Other "there is the influence of learning model of problem posing scaffolding assisted to the mathematical communication ability ". In N-Gain data to find out how to improve students' mathematical communication ability in experiment and control class, it is found that the number of students in experiment class with high N-Gain is 10 students or 25%, the number of students in the experiment class that has N-Gain 23 students or 57.5%, and the number of students in the experimental class with low N-Gain were 7 students 17.5%, while the number of students in the control class with N-Gain was 6 students or 15% Students in the control class who had N-Gain were 13 students or 32.5%, and the number of students in the control class who had low N-Gain was 21 students 52.5%, it can be concluded that the improvement of mathematical communication ability of higher experiment class Than the control class. Keywords : Quasi Experiment, Problem Posing, Scaffolding.

This research is experimental research. The population in this study was all students of Class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sumarorong. Samples of 42 people consisting of class VIII A of 24 people and class VIII B as many as 18 people taken in random sampling. In this study used test instrument study results, learning model implementation sheet, and student activity sheet. The Data obtained is analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on data analysis results, both groups are normal and homogeneous distributions, so that hypothesis testing is performed using Test-t statistics. Based on the test-T statistics obtained: 1) The median value of the experimental class pretests 54.94 while the control class is 53.80, and the average Postest experimental class is 78.17, while the control class is 68. 2) for the implementation of the Inkuiri model's execution sheet after analyzed was obtained an average of 94%, as well as the activity sheet of students for the experimental class obtained 61% while the control class was 38%. and test-T acquired significant 0.024 < 0.05 This indicates that H0 was rejected and H1 received. Thus, it can be concluded that the Learning model inquiry affect the outcome of mathematics for students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 sumarorong.

This study is aimed at identifying the effect of using Cabri 3DV2Plus software with a learning model of cooperative interaction settings of students who get conventional learning seen from the level of students' abilities (high, medium, or low). The research uses a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were students of class XI. The sampling technique was done by random sampling, and a sample of 182 students was obtained. The instrument used in this study was a test of mathematical understanding. The data collection techniques for mathematical understanding were carried out by giving a pretest and a posttest. The statistical analysis carried out was a normality test and a homogeneity test as a condition for taking the treatments, and a t-test to see the average difference in each class. From the t-test, the tcount and ttable values were obtained respectively. tcount1 = 11.20  ttable = 2.042, tcount2 = 9.819  ttable = 2.042, and tcount3 = 4.861  ttable = 2.042 then overall H0 is rejected; meaning that there is influence of using Cabri 3DV2Plus software with the learning model of cooperative interaction settings of students who get conventional learning in terms of the level of students' ability (high, medium, or low).

This study aims to determine the effect of adversity quotient and need for achievement on entrepreneurial intention through entrepreneurial attitude. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 155 people with a sample of 112 people. Sampling uses probability sampling with proportional random sampling. Data collection was carried out by using a questionnaire and documentation. To analyze the data, the researcher used descriptive statistical analysis, classic assumption test, path analysis and hypothesis testing using t test and multiple tests. The analysis shows that: (1) adversity quotient influences entrepreneurial attitude, (2) need for achievement influences entrepreneurial attitude, (3) adversity quotient influences entrepreneurial intention, (4) need for achievement influences entrepreneurial intention. (5) Entrepreneurial attitude influences entrepreneurial intention, (6) entrepreneurial attitude is able to mediate the effect of adversity quotient on entrepreneurial intention, (7) entrepreneurial attitude is able to mediate the influence of need for achievement on entrepreneurial intention.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic disease that can be controlled with medication. Handihaler® may be an option in the control of COPD, but the use of techniques Handihaler® is lacking in patients can cause treatment to be not optimal, therefore, the role of pharmacists to explain how to use Handihaler®. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of how to use information given Handihaler® pharmacists in pharmacies in East Surabaya. This research is non-experimental research with cross sectional method, and using observation techniques in the form of a checklist. Sampling by non-random sampling method by using purposive. The data will be processed with descriptive statistical analysis. The research sample as many as 22 pharmacies. The results showed that the steps 1, 2, 3, and 4 can be explained properly, whereas no pharmacist to explain step 16. Therefore, community pharmacists need to increase knowledge to support the pharmacist's role in providing information on how to use inhalers to improve the effectiveness COPD therapy.
