This study aims to describe students’ perceptions of the benefits of project-based learning in translation class. The project focuses on the students’ perceptions and the benefits of translation project. The research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive data analysis technique. The participants of this study consist of 25 university students. The qualitative data were analyzed by questionnaire and students’ reflection adopted from Siregar (2018). The results of the research revealed that the students’ responded positively to the benefits of PBL in Translation Class. It further shows that the project-based learning model can train creative thinking, collaboration, English skills improvement, and challenging hence it is suitable to be applied in Translation class

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted to determine the impact of changes to the Slims to Inlislite system at the SMK Negeri 9 Bandung Library. The research method that researchers use is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used by researchers for research are observation and interviews. Descriptive data analysis method, with data analysis technique in the form of data reduction. Presentation of data, drawing conclusions, and verification. . The results of research that have been researchers show that the impact of the Change in the Slims to Inlite Automation System at the SMKN 9 Bandung Library, has an impact on convenience for librarians. In Inlislite there is also a feature that provides information regarding borrowing data, such as sanctions or fines and delays in returning books which are only confirmed by scanning a barcode. So that it can overcome the queues of visitors and can also save time and effort for librarians in their work.Key words: Automation impact; Slims; integrated library system (Inlislite); School library ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dari perubahan sistem Slims ke Inlislite di Perpustakaan SMK Negeri 9 Bandung. Metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti untuk penelitian yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Metode analisis data deskriptif, dengan teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data. Penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. . Hasil penelitian yang telah peneliti menunjukan bahwa dampak Perubahan Sistem Otomasi Slims Ke Inlislite Di Perpustakaan Smkn 9 Bandung, memberi dampak kemudahan bagi pustakawan. Di Inlislite juga terdapat fitur yang memberikan informasi  data peminjaman mengenai seperti misalnya sanksi atau denda dan keterlambatan waktu pengembalian buku yang hanya dikakukan dengan scan barcode. Sehingga dapat mengatasi antrean pemustaka dan juga dapat menghemat waktu dan tenaga pustakawan dalam pekrjaannya.Kata kunci: dampak otomasi; slims; integrated library system (inlislite); perpustakaan sekolah

In accordance with PP No. 8 of 2012 and the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 73 of 2013 requires universities to implement a curriculum that refers to the IQF. In the PGMI study program, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang has implemented a curriculum system that refers to the KKNI. This study aims to determine the application of the curriculum referring to the KKNI in the PGMI study program of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Where in this study, researchers look for sources of descriptive data in the form of words or opinions from research subjects. Data collection was carried out by interview and observation methods. The analysis technique of data collection, presentation and conclusion. Data analysis was carried out on data collection and after all were collected. The results show that in general the KKNI curriculum has been implemented in the PGMI UIN Raden Fatah Palembang study program which is decent and good.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android untuk memudahkan pemahaman konsep trigonometri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang didukung data kuantitatif. Model Pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu ADDIE. Karya inovasi ini dibuat dengan macromediaflash 8. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 8 siswa pada ujicoba kelompok kecil dan 30 siswa pada ujicoba kelompok besar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data kualitatif dengan menggunakan model Miles Huberman.Hasilpengembangan diperoleh sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa untuk mempermudah mengingat rumus trigonometri. Kata kunci: Media pembelajaran, android, konsep trigonometri Abstract [The Development of Interactive Android Based Learning Media to Facilitate Understanding of Trigonometric Concepts]. The purpose of this research is to develop interactive android based learning media to facilitate understanding of trigonometric concepts. This research is a development research with qualitative approach supported by quantitative data. Development model used is ADDIE. The innovation work was made with Macromedia Flash 8. The subjects in this study consisted of 8 students on a small group trial and 30 students on a large group trial. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and interviews. Qualitative data analysis technique using Miles Huberman model. The results of the development obtained a learning media that can help students to simplify remembering the trigonometric formula. The data analysis technique uses the followingtechniques: 1. Data collection, 2. Data reduction, 3. Data presentation, 4. Conclusing drawing / verification. In thisstudy, the validity of the data used data triangulation: 1. Technique triangulation, 2. Time triangulation. Theresults of the research that can be formulated that the language expressions used by merchants are Javanese,Indonesian and Madurese.

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of village head elections after the implementation of the Bontomatinggi Village Head election in Maros Regency in 2016. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach to analysis and using the theory of political mobilization, data collection using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used by the author is a qualitative data analysis technique that is by searching and compiling systematically from the results of interviews, observations and documentation and then selecting the data needed and making conclusions that are easy to understand.Based on the results of the study, direct and indirect mobilization models and the impacts that occurred in the community after the election of Maros Regency Bontomatinggi Village Chief occurred several models such as socialization of village head candidates, mass mobilization, open campaign (direct mobilization model) and dialogical campaigns conducted from home to home (direct mobilization model). The impact of the model and after the election is that there is an unnatural mobilization model such as intimidation and threats to voters, giving facilities and money politics, black campaigns and spreading slander. Some of the factors that influence the voters' decision to elect a village head are the lack of education level of the community, mobilized communities are afraid that there will be violence and utterances of hatred from the candidates and the successful team if they do not follow their wishes. Keywords : Political Mobilization Model, the impact of village head elections

Baduy  is a tribe that applies isolation from the outside world. They are not familiar with school, because school as formal education is opposed to their lifestyle. This study aims to explain the background and development of Baduy people whom are neglected, marginalized, and overlooked despite they live in Java island. The research method used is descriptive, case study type. The case is about why the Baduy tribe is neglected, marginalized, and overlooked. The Baduy tribe lives in Kanekes village, 39 km from Rangkasbitung city, 120 km from Jakarta. Data collecting uses interview and observation from January 2012 to June 2013. Data analysis uses qualitative data analysis technique. The results show five phenomena in the origin and development of the people which lead them to be neglected, marginalized, and overlooked. This study leads to conclusion that Baduy people need humanitarian assistance; and Paulo Freire’s conscience is one of the alternatives in providing humanitarian assistance to them.

This study aims at describing the lexico-grammatical features that differentiate Black English from White English as well as investigating the features of English used by both black people and white people in the movie Akeelah and the Bee. Descriptive design and qualitative approach were used to achieve the research aims. Data were collected through documentation method and analyzed by using qualitative data analysis technique. Data were listed, classified, analyzed, discussed, and summarized at the end. It was found a total of 82 data indicating the features that differentiate Black English from White English. Among those data, 45.1% data showed the use of slang, 24.4% data showed the use of optional auxiliary be, 14.6% data indicated the use of multiple negation, 6.1% data indicated the use of identical singular and plural verb forms, 4.9% data showed the use of aspectual markers: be, BIN, dən, 2.4% data showed the use of specific phrases, and 2.4% data indicated the use of negative inversion. Meanwhile, 11 data were found in regards to the features that were used by both black people and white people in the movie. Among those data, 81.8% data showed the use of slang, 9.1% data indicated the use of specific word, and 9.1% data showed the use of optional auxiliary be. The findings indicated that Black English has its own lexico-grammatical features which make it distinct from White English. However, there were some features of Black English which are used in White English. Keywords: Black English, White English, lexico-grammar

This research is a Classroom Action Research with 2 (two) cycles which aims to improve students' creative thinking abilities through contextual approaches in mixed count operations material with qualitative approach. Data collection is done through observation, evaluation tools, interviews, documentation, and worksheets. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative Data triangulation is used to test the validity of the data. The data obtained came from three different sources, observers, teachers, and students. This research show most students become active gradually in learning activities. With a contextual approach students are motivated in finding meaning and concepts, observing, analyzing, determining completion strategies and alternatives to find the final result. An increase in students' creative thinking abilities in the aspects of fluency and flexibility from the pre-action stage to the end of the second cycle with a percentage of 25% to 60% (fluency) and 17.5% to 55% (flexibility).

<p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kreatif mahasiswa jurusan komputer di Kota Padang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner yang dibuat menggunakan <em>google form</em> kemudian disebarkan kepada responden penelitian yang berjumlah 115 mahaiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan persentase per indikator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa tergolong rendah pada indikator memberikan penjelasan lebih lanjut dan menarik kesimpulan, serta keterampilan berpikir kreatif untuk berpikir secara lancar dan orisinil mahasiswa masih rendah.</p><p> </p><p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The research aimed to describe the critical and creative thinking skills profiles of students majoring in computer in the city of Padang. The research method used descriptive research. Data were collected through a questionnaire made using google form and then distributed to 115 respondents. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis using percentages per indicator. The results showed that the students' critical thinking skills were low on the indicators of providing further explanation and drawing conclusions, and the students' creative thinking skills to think fluently and originally were still low.</em></p>

The radicalism movement that has taken root in the present must be prevented. Anti-radicalism education can be used as an effort to prevent the development of terrorism and radicalism in Indonesia. The values ​​of anti-religious radicalism in Islam originating from the Qur'an and Hadith are integrated into subjects in Islamic boarding schools. The concept of anti-radical Islam such as prohibiting killing, doing damage, and the command to do love for fellow human beings in the material taught. Anti-radicalism education requires the santri to respect differences. Thus, it can indirectly break the radicalism movement in Indonesia. The research method in this paper uses a qualitative approach, in collecting data using the method of observation, interviews and documents. While the data analysis technique uses editing, verifying and analyzing analysis techniques. The results of this study are the Strategies of Al Ma'ruf Islamic Boarding School in preventing 3 types of religious radicalism, namely: Exemplary Strategy, Coaching Strategy and Habit Strategy.
