In the article have been described opportunities of realization of forming the public and social competences on the physical education lessons. It is based on questionnaire of physical education teachers from Lviv region and on pedagogical experiment to which middle school age pupils are involved. The verification was conducted and established the influence of named directions during trainings and motor games that were chosen specially on forming the public and social pupils’ competences. The level of forming of specified competences among middle school age pupils was determined and checked during the research. It was found out that implemented approaches and applied motor games positively influenced on increasing the level of public and social competences. Positive changes were noticed  in the level of self-confidence (the level of low self-confidence has decreased from 40% to 10%, the adequate one has increased on 20% (55% from the beginning and 75% after the experiment), the high self-confidence has doubled (from 5% to 10%), too high self- confidence has increased on 5%). In the strategy of pupils’ behavior, the ability to make a decision during problematic situation become better in 7,5 times (10% in the beginning and 75% after the experiment). The need in extra help has decreased in 4 times (from 80% to 20%). The level of sociability and cooperation in children groups has increased in the average level of sociability on 15% (from 45% to 60% after the experiment) and in the high level of sociability on 20% (from 20% to 40%). No children with low level of sociability were noticed. The small positive tendency to grow was found out in  children adaptation to school studying (the  high level of cooperation has increased on 5%, the average – on 15% and low level has decreased on 20%). Modern society is facing  new challenges, one of which is the formation of individuals who are able to make extraordinary decisions and effectively establish relationships in a rapidly changing reality. Background. The paper strives to answer the question what is optimism expression for middle school age students in physical education classes. The following hypothesis was tested: optimism expression of boys would be higher than those of girls. The aim of our study was to examine the optimism expression for middle school age students in physical education classes. Methods. The independent random sample consisted of 214 students of middle school age (108 girls and 106 boys). According to the attendance of physical education classes respondents by were divided into two groups: those who did not attend physical education classes for one month or more were assigned to the group of students not attending physical education classes, and others – the group of students attending physical education classes. The measure of optimism expression was evaluated using Dember’s Optimism/Pessimism Scale. Results. The hypothesis that optimism expression of boys would be higher than that of girls was confirmed. The comparison of optimism expression between boys and girls revealed that optimism expression for boys of middle school age was higher (p < .05) than that of girls. The comparison of optimism expression among students attending and not attending physical education classes revealed that middle school age students (boys, girls) attending physical education classes were more optimistic (p < .05). Conclusions. It was found that the optimism of middle school age boys was higher in physical education classes comparing them to girls of the same age, and middle school age students (boys and girls) who attended physical education classes were more optimistic.

The author of the article, based on the analysis of scientific views of scholars and current legislation of Ukraine, elaborates the ways to improve administrative and legal mechanism for ensuring the rights of business entities in the field of taxation. It is substantiated that the objective prerequisites for improving administrative and legal mechanism for ensuring the rights of business entities in the field of taxation are: 1) low level of trust of entrepreneurs in the tax service; 2) high level of corruption in the agencies of the State Tax Service; 3) imperfect mechanism of legal regulation of tax advice; 4) low level of quality and efficiency of functioning of administrative and legal mechanism of ensuring the rights and lawful interests of business entities as taxpayers, etc. It was stated that the first step towards improving administrative and legal mechanism for ensuring the rights of business entities in the field of taxation should be the improvement of the relevant administrative legislation. The expediency of improving the organizational structure of the State Tax Service is substantiated. Emphasis was placed on the need to improve the interaction of the State Tax Service with other public authorities and the public on ensuring the rights of business entities in the field of taxation. It is noted that the deep and constructive interaction of the State Tax Service of Ukraine with other public authorities and the public is undoubtedly an important guarantee of high quality and efficiency for ensuring the rights of business entities.

Formation of a school maturity at children of younger school age is the main objective of modern education. Special attention in the last decades is paid to children with disturbances of a musculoskeletal system, in particular, to children with the cerebral palsy (CP). Such children study at special correctional schools which prepare the pupils for independent life and work in society. Research objective: to estimate adaptation of children of younger school age with cerebral palsy to occupations at correctional school. Materials and methods. 75 children with the diagnosis are examined: Cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia mild or moderate severity, delay of psychomotor development, pseudobulbar dysarthtia. All children studied in state-funded educational institution for children with limited opportunities of health special (correctional) comprehensive school (the IV look) No. 584 "Ozerki" of Vyborgsky district of St. Petersburg (school No. 584 "Ozerki"). The age of children was from 7 to 11 years. The following indicators were estimated: quality of life of children by means of the questionnaire of PedsQL for category of children of 8-12 years, electroencephalogram indicators, the neurologic status, extent of disturbance of the speech. Children were examined by the neurologist, the psychologist and the logopedist. Results. 72% of children had the average and low level of adaptation. According to classification by L.A. Wagner (1989), “the low level” of adaptation prevailed at boys (42.2%) (the negative relation to school, suppressed mood, frequent complaints to an illness). “High level” also dominated at boys (33.4%) while at girls “the high level” of adaptation was observed only at 6 people (20%). Clinical inspection taped that at children the hyper excitability syndrome prevailed (at boys – 51.2%, girls – 63.3%). Also it was noticed that extent of disturbance of the speech depends on degree of a lesion of the central nervous system and also on age and sex features. The quality of life of children of elementary school is reduced. In scales of the questionnaire of PedsQL “physical functioning”, “emotional functioning”, “life at school” points don’t exceed 50. Only in a scale “social functioning” an indicator more than 70 points. Conclusions. The complex rehabilitation including the medical, psychology and pedagogical and logopedic care is necessary for children of elementary school of school No. 584 “Ozerki”.

Introduction. The number of children with speech disorders increases from year to year. Work on the development of speech at preschool and school educational organizations is not always planned, systematic, and coherent. This composite group of children is insufficiently studied in pedagogical science and practice. In classes on speech development and children’s independent activity, not enough time is devoted to collective activities. Materials and methods. The pilot study involved 147 children from four preparatory groups and two first grades of the elementary school in Orekhovo-Zuevo (Moscow Region, Russian Federation). The following research methods were used: analysis of foreign and domestic scientific literature, survey, and experimental research. The results were compared using Pearson's chi-squared test χ2. The study used the authors' toolkit adjusted for the conditions of the experiment. Results. The study showed a fairly high quality of the toolkit prepared for testing. Initially, the groups of respondents showed a low level of speech development – 47% (69 children), an average level – 51% (75 children), and a high level – 2% (3 children). Collective activities were widely used at the formative stage during class time and after classes. The results of the control stage (low level 8.1%, average 47.3%, high 44.6% of children) convincingly demonstrate the effectiveness of using collective activities in speech development (χ2 = 96.813; p < 0.01). Discussion and conclusion. The toolkit chosen for collecting primary information was shown to be of sufficient quality. The study showed the effectiveness of using active social and psychological education methods (in particular, Olympiads, creative workshops, creative weeks, collective creative activities) by teachers of pre-school educational organizations and primary school teachers to develop children's speech. An important condition for the development of speech in children of older preschool and primary school age is using collective activities, insufficiently studied in Russia and abroad, in the pedagogical process.

The public sector plays an important role in the process of creating a quality of business environment. The objective of the paper was to present new scientific knowledge in the field of legal risk in the SMEs sector of the V4 countries. For this purpose, weights of selected factors of legal risk were quantified and there were compared the trends of the Czech Republic with other V4 countries. Empirical research was conducted via questionnaire survey on a sample of 1.585 respondents. On the basis of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the level of legal risk in the V4 countries was relatively high; this risk negatively affects business activities in the SMEs of the V4 countries. A major part of enterprises in the V4 countries evaluate the legal risk as unacceptable. Entrepreneurs in the V4 countries negatively evaluated the fact that the dynamics of legislative changes is too intensive and has a negative impact on their business activities. SMEs in the V4 countries considered the business environment to be too strictly regulated. On the other hand, entrepreneurs showed a high level of self-confidence in the knowledge of basic legal norms in business. Legal risk is perceived differently in individual countries. The lowest intensity of legal risk is perceived by SMEs in Hungary; the highest level of perceiving legal risk was shown in Poland. Empirical research showed that the size of enterprise and education of entrepreneurs do not have a significant impact on the formation of entrepreneurs´ attitudes in terms of legal risk.

Abstract: Introduction: Basic Life Support (BLS) refers to the procedures that must be performed in situations of cardiorespiratory arrest or airway obstruction, and therefore, undergraduate students and health professionals must be highly trained to perform. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge about Basic Life Support (BLS) and the associated factors among undergraduate students from the health area in their last year of school in a public university. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study with undergraduate students in Physical Education, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medicine and Dentistry at the Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa, Brazil. Data collection was carried out in 2019, in the last month of course completion, by a trained researcher using a self-administered questionnaire containing sociodemographic data, professional training, perceived self-knowledge and a validated BLS instrument. There was an association between the outcome “undergraduate students’ knowledge” dichotomized as high (≥70% correct) or low level (<70% correct) and the independent variables (sociodemographic data, professional training and perceived self-knowledge) and the performance of the binary and multinomial logistic regression (p<0.05). Results: 191 undergraduate students participated in the study, being 85.6% of the chosen universe. A total of 30 participants (15.7%) had a high level of knowledge on BLS, being students from the Nursing (n = 12) and Medicine (n = 18) courses. While 35.3% of Nursing students and 46.2% of Medicine students had a high level of knowledge about BLS, there were no students from the Physical Education (0.0%), Pharmacy (0.0%) and Dentistry (0.0%) courses. In the crude analysis, the low level of knowledge was associated with younger age (OR=2.75, 95%CI:1.22-6.21), not feeling safe to perform BLS (OR=3.12, 95%CI:1.38-7.01) and the fact that the discipline was not part of the undergraduate course (OR=18.35, 95%CI:2.44-138.1). In the adjusted analysis, the fact that the discipline was not part of the undergraduate course (OR=13.41, 95%CI:1.74-103.12) remained. Conclusion: Most students had a low level of knowledge about BLS, and only students from the Medicine and Nursing courses demonstrated a high level of knowledge. After adjustment, the fact that the discipline was not part of the undergraduate course was associated with a lower level of knowledge about BLS.

The Quality of Life and Contentment with the Realisation of Partial Satisfactions of Students from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in Biała PodlaskaIntroduction. The aim of the work was to define the level of contentment with the realisation of partial satisfactions of female and male 1st-year students from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport in Biala Podlaska, the University of Physical Education in Warsaw (FPES) demonstrating a high or low level of the quality of life. Material and methods. 44 women and 161 men were examined. At the first stage of the research the level of the quality of life was defined with the use of the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS). At the second stage the level of contentment with the realisation of partial satisfactions of people with a high or low level of the quality of life was examined. The level of contentment with partial satisfactions was measured by means of a questionnaire in which partial satisfactions were grouped in 5 categories: social, material, environmental, health and other satisfactions. Statistically significant differences were defined with the use of Pearson's chi-square test (χ2), taking values lower than the significance level p<0.05 as statistically significant. Results. There occur statistically significant differences in the levels of contentment with the realisation of partial satisfactions of female and male students revealing a high or low level of the quality of life. Better material conditions, contentment with the way of spending free time, one's own life achievements and health are conducive to reaching a high level of the quality of life among students. Over 70% of the examined academic youth with a high level of the quality of life perceive their life as great and successful and the conditions in a family as positive. Over 60% of female students and 30% of male students from this group have very strong family bonds. Conclusions. The level of contentment with the realisation of partial satisfactions is connected with the system of values of an individual. Positive and strong family bonds favour a high level of the quality of life. The system of cultural institutions in Biala Podlaska as a university town should be developed more dynamically.
