The study of the peculiarities of educational adaptation of young girls and young boys of higher medical education, using the distance format of the educational process, is an important component of research that involves identifying risk factors for the likely development of negative changes in the adaptive resources of their body. The research, based on the application of questionnaires and structured interviews, was conducted on the basis of National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsya, where 110 students of 1-st and 3-rd courses were under supervision during the observation period. The analysis of the obtained data involved the application of descriptive statistics procedures based on the use of a package of statistical analysis applications “Statistica 6.1 for Windows” (licensed № ВXXR901E245722FA). In the course of research the peculiarities of educational adaptation of young girls and young boys who are in the institution of higher medical education during the use of the distance format of the educational process are determined. During the analysis of the peculiarities of educational and, first of all, professionally-oriented education in a higher education institution, it was established that the level of academic success in all taught disciplines (p<0.05) and in professionally-oriented subjects, in the distance learning format was higher than during the period of traditional classroom classes. It was found that distance learning helped to increase (p<0.05) the level of nervous and emotional stress, and the main problems that arose during training in higher medical education in both options for organizing training and 1-st year and 3-rd year students mostly associated either with a feeling of constant fatigue, or with personal reasons. According to the physiological and hygienic assessment of the correlates of well-being of girls and boys at the end of school days in terms of distance learning format should be considered “bad”, which is primarily due to the growing share of relevant data which is primarily due to the increase in the share of relevant data and a decrease in the share of indicators that marked the state of health as “good”. The indicators regarding the peculiarities of the state of health and functional capabilities of the students’ body should have been considered similar.

The article refers about the problems of Russian health care and higher and midlle medical education as integral elements of a single holistic system of the state in the conditions of their commercialization. A serious test for health care was the Covid-19 epidemic, which revealed the consequences of the so-called optimization of the medical industry: lack of an effective plan to prepare for the outbreak, lack of hospitals and beds, trained medical and nursing personnel, necessary equipment and medicines, test systems for determining coronavirus, protective suits, consumables, including masks. In order to understand modern trends, the dynamics of indicators of the state of the medical industry in Tsar 's Russia, the USSR and the Russian Federation after 1991 to the present have been traced. Modern Russia finds itself in a number of positions dropped to the indicators of 1913 (reduction of the number of hospitals and polyclinics, graduation of doctors and paramedics, in fact there is no medical industry, chemical and pharmaceutical production, etc.). The main elements of effective organization of higher medical education are identified, which presents both issues of material support of students and teachers, as well as core issues of educational process. The weaknesses of medical education have been identified, which are due both to the lack of sound State policy to support it and to its consequence - insufficient funding. The materials of the article make it possible to formulate the principles of restoration of domestic medical education as the foundation of the health care system.

Among the key goals of the National Project "Healthcare" is provision of State (municipal) medical organizations with qualified medical personnel. Achievement of this goal largely depends on the quality of medical personnel training. At the same time, noticeable changes have been taking place in the medical education system in recent years: they concern regulatory and legal framework of medical and educational activities, technical equipment and conditions of economic activity of universities, etc. The changing socio-economic context has an impact on both university applicants, their motivation, and those who train future doctors. The article presents an analysis of the results of the study "Development of the human resources potential of the Moscow healthcare" carried out in 2019 under the auspices of the Moscow Healthcare Department, which addressed both the quantitative aspects of the staffing of medical organizations subordinated to the city, and the quality of medical personnel issues concerning professional training. Information on the quality of graduates from medical universities and the factors determining it was obtained through a series of in-depth structured interviews with experts, who were representatives of the capital's medical universities and chief doctors of medical institutions. In the course of the survey, experts expressed their opinion about all factors affecting the quality of medical education: the level of training and motivation of applicants; characteristics of the teaching staff; organization of the educational process, etc. Analysis of the expert opinions testifies to ambiguity of the situation in medical education. The positive aspects include the growing interest in obtaining the profession of a doctor and the demand for knowledge, as well as some improvement in the remuneration of university workers, which has a positive effect on the filling of pedagogical vacancies and the social well-being of teachers. At the same time, practically in each of the components of the quality of medical specialists training — in methodological support, technical equipment, the possibility of obtaining practical skills by future doctors — there have been found problems that require solution.

Background: Numerous studies have shown an effect of rapidly spreading SARS-COV-2 on combined anxiety-depressive disorders and maladjustment syndrome occurrences. Objective: To determine the primary medical students’ reactive anxiety level and the final scores of their educational progress in distance learning during the SARS-COV-2 pandemic. Materials and Methods: The study involved 824 students at medical universities in Saratov and Moscow. The assessment of the reactive anxiety level was carried out according to the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, STAI; the average score of students' academic performance was calculated according to the data of the technological platform "1C: Enterprise" version 8.4.1. The survey was completed during distance learning in May 2020. The quality of distance learning was compared to a similar score for 2019, when students were trained in a traditional way. Statistical analysis was conducted using Statistica 6.0. Results: It was shown the presence of moderately severe disorders among the primary medical students according to the average score of reactive anxiety (43.28 ± 12.85), that expressed more in females s (p<0.05), After distance learning, lasting 25% of the whole course, the overall performance score in theoretical knowledge did not change significantly (p>0.05) but the practical skills suffered much especially in time trend (p<0.05). Novelty: It was found that a high level of the reactive anxiety negatively affects the students' adaptive capabilities and the education quality. The specificity of programs at different faculties can determine the state of the students' psychological status. Findings:Timely transition to online classes during pandemics helps to preserve the students' mental well-being and the quality of the educational process. The duration of distance learning for a practical course should not exceed 25% of the whole course. Doi: 10.28991/esj-2021-SPER-07 Full Text: PDF

The coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has become a challenge to higher education worldwide, affecting roughly over 90% of the student community. Due to the pandemic issues, it was essential to adjust the educational process to changing circumstances. Efforts to curb the spread of the disease, including social distancing and self-isolation, have led to the need of initiating a new approach of education and developing effective communications in medical education with the organization of online education from 23.04.2020. The Saint Petersburg state pediatric medical University of the Ministry of health of Russia has adopted the Discord platform for distance learning. Training courses have been organized for physicians working in hospitals that have been sorted out to operate with patients with coronavirus infection using the Moodle platform with access to register and monitor trainees as well. Instructing teachers to work in these Internet scopes required fewest time, which allowed them to switch to distance learning in due time. In order to attest the timeliness and adequacy of the response of the higher medical education system in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, in this article, the experience of the transfer of the Department of infectious diseases of adults and epidemiology to running educational activities in remote mode. The possibility of conducting online classes not only theoretical, but also practical in the specialties of infectious diseases and epidemiology with students, residents, postgraduates and physicians was demonstrated.

Annotation. Physiological and hygienic assessment of the main regime elements of educational and extracurricular activities of young girls and young boys in higher education is an essential component of research, which involves identifying risk factors for the likely development of negative changes in the functionality and adaptive resources of their organism. The research, based on the application of questionnaires and structured interviews, was conducted on the basis of National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, where under supervision during the observation period were 110 students who studied on 1 and 3 courses. The analysis of the obtained data and their prognostic evaluation involved the use of descriptive statistics procedures based on the use of a standardized package of statistical analysis applications “Statistica 6.1 for Windows” (licensed № ВXXR901E245722FA). In the course of the research a comprehensive physiological and hygienic assessment of the main regime elements of educational and extracurricular activities of students of higher medical education in the organization of distance learning and identified their leading differences from similar characteristics when using traditional forms of education. It was found that the share of indicators on the duration of continuous study activities of students, which are considered unfavorable and those that exceed its maximum allowable time range (more than 9 hours, from 8 to 9 hours and from 7 to 8 hours), under the use of distance format was lower than the proportion of similar indicators in the classroom. At the same time, the opposite picture is registered during the analysis of data on the features of educational and meaningful preparation for practical classes carried out at home. Among distance learning students, data that reflected the indicators of the duration of the dynamic component in the structure of the daily time budget had to be considered significantly lower. In the course of a subjectively significant generalized assessment of the daily activities of young girls and young boys, it was found that it should be considered more intense in terms of the use of distance learning technologies. The obtained results should be further used both for the development of methods for comprehensive assessment of the state of adaptive resources of students, taking into account the peculiarities of their daily activities, and during the scientific substantiation of effective use of health technologies in higher medical education.

Chemistry is one of the most important courses in the system of pre-university training of prospective specialists with higher medical education. During the pandemic, we had to face some problems when organizing chemistry distance learning. There was a lack of data and opportunities for out-of-class interaction with students, since it was necessary to switch to the remote format in a very short time, literally within a few days. It was necessary to develop a model and methodological support to teach chemistry in the distant format and develop relevant professional competencies. The theoretical basis of the research is the theory of the planned development of mental actions and concepts and activities. Analyzing the results, we came to the conclusion that the implementation of this approach increased the motivation of university entrants to study chemistry. Methodological materials helped to improve the quality of training specifically for foreign entrants who did not know Russian well. The results of the final testing made it possible to conclude that the use of distance education or its elements in pre-university chemistry training is promising, necessary and expedient. All students in one way or another coped with the final certification and received certificates that allow them to continue their studies at a medical university.

The experience of educational work in conditions of quarantine and lockdowns allowed in practice to study the possibilities of distance learning and to form an objective assessment of it in the structure of continuous medical education (CME) for doctors. The survey participants noted the following disadvantages of online distance learning events: the lack of an opportunity to receive information that is of interest to the listener in an in-depth format and in a specific form, because the prevailing volume of videoconferences does not allow for discussions, exchange of experience, review of clinical cases, etc. Distance learning significantly limits the possibilities of practical skills and abilities, the mastering of which is up to 75% of the study time in the format of full-time and part-time education. The positive aspects, from the point of view of distance learning participants, include: the opportunity to get points for registering a teaching staff without interrupting their main work, the ability to choose topics and the modernity of information events. However, the traditional full-time and part-time forms of education also have their drawbacks, namely, for example: to travel and live in the cities where events are held in the absence of state funding for these expenses, that is, at the expense of the doctor himself. The use of innovative educational technologies, such as distance learning and online communication, in the training of doctors cannot fully replace the classical forms of education. The optimal are the combined forms of the educational process organization, which make it possible to rationally use the resource of the participants in the educational process.

The relevance of the study lies in covering the potential of meditative practices in the educational process. The purpose of the study is to carry out a theoretical analysis and outline the probable forms of integration of mindfulness practices into the educational process on the example of teachers, as well as to create a theoretical model of the influence of mindfulness practices on the teacher’s personality with professional destruction. The study highlights the main theoretical models of understanding mindfulness practices. The most effective and most frequently used techniques of awareness practice are analysed. The main educational centres of mindfulness in Ukraine are highlighted. Theoretical analysis of empirical research of foreign colleagues in the field of positive influence of mindfulness practices on the personality is carried out. The causes of professional destruction of teachers are analysed. The expediency and efficiency of this integration are argued. Among the positive changes due to the use of awareness practices by teachers are: improving the level of concentration and recollection; increasing attention to the needs and emotional states of students; creating emotional balance and preventing burnout; increasing the level of stress resistance; improving the quality of relationships at work and at home; increasing productivity and as a result of academic success; forming openness and readiness for selfdevelopment; development of the level of reflection and skills to regulate one’s emotions; improving the psychological climate in the classroom and maintaining overall psychological well-being; improving the quality of life and increasing the subjective feeling of happiness. The scientific novelty lies in the creation and operationalisation of a theoretical model of the influence of mindfulness practices on the teacher’s personality with professional destruction through the lens of cognitive, emotional, physiological, and behavioural levels. It is established that the practice of awareness is the main skill of presence in everything that happens to us, around and inside, in the body, feelings and thoughts
