The purpose of this study is to analyze how far the efforts to improve the quality of students in mastering Al-Qur'an Hadith teaching materials, analyzing the content of matriculation material class X Madrasah Aliyah level and analyzing effective and innovative methods in the delivery of matriculation material. The research method uses a mixed approach to the Exploratory Sequential Design. Data collection by interview and observation which then continued with survey instruments in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the study, an increase in the quality of students in understanding and applying subject matter both from the results of cognitive evaluation and its application include: students in sufficient time can read the Al-Qur'an for those who have not, the better and phase reading the Qur'an, easy to understand the hadiths in learning material. Conclusions, from the results of research that has been done, through the addition of effective and innovative matriculation learning can improve the quality of students in mastering Al-Qur'an Hadith learning materials. [Bahasa]: Salah satu unsur konkrit yang sangat penting dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia adalah peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Namun kenyataannya guru kurang mengembangkan kreativitas untuk merencanakan, menyiapkan, dan membuat bahan ajar secara matang yang kaya inovasi sehingga menarik bagi siswa. Kebanyakan aktivitas pembelajaran matematika hanya menyajikan permasalahan dan rumus-rumus saja tanpa memperhatikan penanaman konsepnya. Melihat banyaknya CPNS calon guru pada tahun 2019 ini, terdapat peluang untuk merubah sistem belajar di sekolah agar lebih bervariatif. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengalaman bagi calon guru tentang pembuatan bahan ajar mengunakan Pendekatan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) dalam pembelajaran matematika dan mengahasilkan bahan ajar menggunakan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan (workshop) yang mengedepankan praktik dengan metode on the job training dimana peserta pelatihan langsung bekerja di bawah bimbingan narasumber. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah produk bahan ajar berupa LKS menggunakan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari yang kemudian dibukukan dan diajukan Hak Ciptanya sehingga dapat digunakan oleh guru sekolah Dasar (SD). Setelah diadakan pelatihan diperoleh bahwa calon guru CPNS 2019 memiliki kemampuan yang sangat baik dan memilki berbagai ide kreatif dalam menyusun bahan ajar dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: pelatihan; bahan ajar; PMRI; CPNS 2019 [English]: One of the essential aspects to improve the quality of human resources is to improve the quality of education. But in reality, the teachers are less creative in planning, preparing, and make rich and innovative teaching contents which attract the students. Mostly, mathematics learning activities only present problems and formulas without regard to the inculcation of the concepts. Considering the number of prospective teachers in 2019, there is an opportunity to change the learning approach in schools to be more varied. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide an understanding and experience for prospective teachers about making teaching materials using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Approach (PMRI) in learning mathematics and producing teaching materials using the context of everyday life. This community service is carried out in the form of workshops that prioritizes practice, employing the on the job training method in which the training participants directly work under the guidance of experts. The results of this activity are teaching material in the form of student worksheets using the context of daily life which are then recorded and submitted for copyright so that they can be used by elementary school teachers widely. After the training, it was found that pre-service teachers had very good abilities and a variety of creative ideas in compiling teaching materials in the context of daily life. Teaching material is an important tool to achieve learning goals. Teaching materials can help teachers prepare learning activities, and guide students in learning, both at school and at home. Therefore, teaching materials must be prepared based on the basic principles and steps of the systematic development of teaching materials as well as the assessment criteria to use in the field to ensure the quality of teaching materials developed. This paper discusses developing learning material for ESP (English for Specific Purposes). The method used to describe the development of learning material is by conducting a qualitative in which the writer did the document review of some related articles and books. The discussion area about the definition, the principles, the procedures, and the practical undertaking of developing learning material for ESP. The development of teaching materials for creative and integrated English learning is an effort to facilitate student learning, moving from the old paradigm to the new paradigm. Hopefully, the main target of learning for them is not only the result of learning in the form of numbers, but the courage to show the ability through real action under the skills and knowledge mastered.

describe the implementation of an integrated quality management component consisting of the quality of services provided by the school, human resources in teaching, the school environment, and learning process  in SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang.               The method used in this study, namely by using a naturalistic qualitative approach. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study include the principal, teachers, employees, and students. The validity of the data is done by triangulation, and deeper observation. Analysis of the data used is the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.              The results showed that: (a) the quality of services to students in SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang had met good service standards. This can be seen from the services in the form of facilities and infrastructure which are quite complete in schools; (b) the quality of human resources in the education process shows good teacher resources. This can be seen from the teacher data which shows that the teaching staff at SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang 95% of educators with S1 qualifications in the field of education; (c) the quality of the environment in SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang is already good. This can be seen from the very strategic location of the school because the location of the school is in the middle of the city so that it is easily accessible by the community; (d) the quality of the learning process carried out by teachers at Pangkal Pinang YPAC SLB is good. This can be seen from the realization of the form of activities through learning planning by preparing lesson plans for each subject, then implementing learning, which includes strategies and methods used by teachers in delivering learning material, and evaluation of learning. Keywords: Integrated quality management, student achievement     ABSTRAK Tujuan dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini  adalah untuk melihat pelaksanaan serta mendeskripsikan implementasi  komponen Manajemen Mutu Terpadu yang terdiri dari kualitas layanan yang diberikan sekolah, sumber daya manusia dalam mengajar, lingkungan sekolah, dan proses pembelajaran di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini antara lain kepala sekolah, guru, pegawai, dan peserta didik. keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi, dan pengamatan yang lebih mendalam. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman melalui kegiatan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (a) mutu layanan terhadap peserta didik di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang sudah memenuhi standar layanan yang baik. Hal ini dilihat dari layanan yang berupa fasilitas sarana dan prasarana yang sudah cukup lengkap di sekolah; (b) mutu sumber daya manusia dalam proses pendidikan menunjukkan sumber daya guru yang baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari data guru yang menunjukkan bahwa tenaga pengajar di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang 95% pendidik berkualifikasi S1 bidang kependidikan; (c) mutu lingkungan yang ada di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang sudah baik. Hal ini terlihat dari letak sekolah yang sangat strategis karena lokasi sekolah yang berada di tengah kota sehingga mudah dijangkau oleh masyarakat; (d) mutu proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru di SLB YPAC Pangkalpinang sudah baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari realisasi bentuk kegiatan melalui perencanaan pembelajaran dengan menyusun RPP setiap mata pelajaran, kemudian pelaksanaan pembelajaran, yang meliputi strategi dan metode yang digunakan guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran.

Abstract The purpose of this article is to develop a learning module for the Evaluation of Teaching Indonesian at the Indraprasta University PGRI Jakarta using the Dick and Carey development model. The implementation of this instruction includes how a prospective teacher is good at evaluating teaching materials so that the lecturer feels the need to develop teaching materials to improve the quality of teaching materials using formative evaluation consisting of One-to-one evaluation by experts, One-to-one evaluation by Learners, Small Group Evaluation, and Field Trial by making a blue print of each formative evaluation activity. This writing aims to help teachers to increase motivation, activity, creativity, and critical thinking of students in solving problems in class. The way to increase student motivation in learning in class is to choose the right learning model with ongoing learning material. One learning model that increases students' creativity and critical thinking in problem solving is a Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. To improve students' insights in order to easily solve problems there is a need to do tasks, if students do not do the task then they must accept the agreed upon consequences when making learning contracts, thus modifying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with task strategies and forced. The results of the modification of learning with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model through forced and forced strategies are expected to improve the learning process so that students become more disciplined and do not waste time doing assignments. The advantages of modifying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with task and forced learning strategies are increasing student learning motivation, improving the quality of learning, training students' understanding by giving assignments continuously, teaching discipline to students in order to be accountable for tasks assigned, and reducing laziness in students.

Teaching materials by integrating local culture makes easier for students to understand the subject matter in the learning process. The aims of the study is to measure the effectiveness of teaching materials based on local wisdom of agriculture in Binjai in improving the students problem solving abilities. The research method was a quasi experimental which use non equivalent control group in the pretest posttest design. The sample of study were students of Senior High School grade X in Binjai that consisted of experiment group which used teaching materials based on local wisdom of agriculture in Binjai and control group that used student handbooks. Teaching materials are tested by material experts and technology experts to ensure the quality of teaching materials. Data collection was conducted through test. The results showed that the teaching materials based on local wisdom of agriculture in Binjai effective in improving students problem solving abilities in the experimental group students based on the results of N gain value was 0.67 which has medium criteria. It means teaching materials based on agricultural local wisdom of agriculture in Binjai can be used as one of the teaching materials in learning activities.

Three Stages

This study aims to develop English language materials of front office for second semester students of the eleventh grade at SMK N 2 Singaraja. This study adopts the Design and Development (D&D) which is guided by data collection through six instruments, namely questionnaires for teacher and front office staff, Google form for teachers and students, checklist for students, and checklist for expert judges. There are three stages that the researcher takes to complete this study, namely designing, developing, and evaluating the quality of the teaching materials (product) so that it can be categorized as a good material. The result is that there are four topics developed by the researcher, namely (1) Renewal of reservations, (2) Cancellation of reservations, (3) Handling of group reservations orally and in writing, and (4) Handling of individual reservations orally and in writing.

Traditional methods of evaluation are limited in their ability to answer key questions often of interest to process evaluators, such as heterogeneity in the ways individuals adopt new programs. In this article, we demonstrate how a statistical approach, Latent Class Analysis, can help improve the quality of process evaluations and illustrate its use in an evaluation of an educational technology integration program in a large school district. In this illustration, we were interested in detecting variability in the ways teachers adopted the new program. We defined classes based on a set of innovative teaching strategies associated with educational technology. Results showed five distinct subgroups of teachers, based on level of program adoption. Results also demonstrate that specific school support strategies (professional development and personalized computing devices) facilitated program adoption. These findings can help to inform individualized support for teachers to optimize the ease and quality with which they are able to adopt new skills in the classroom.

Background: Communication skills are essential for nurses in providing health services. Efficacious communication will impact in the quality of care and patient safety. This manuscript is to identify factors predisposing implementation of effective nurse communication. Method: This study that data was retrieved uses systematic review design. Data was retrieved from database ProQuest, SCOPUS, EBSCO, Science-Direct, JSTOR, and Wiley-Online in the period of 2011 – 2017. The study was done for journal, article and literature review by applying the keywords nurse communication, health’s communication, effective communication of nurse. Results: A total of 12518 studies was found from six databases. From, the number of these direct search, systematic review identifies conformity based on the title, so that it obtained 31 studies with a title that suitable for a selected discussion. The total of selected papers were 16 studies and identified Efficacious communication. Analysis result from the paper research was there were 16 papers that complement the criteria determined. Six factors are identified to have effect in an implementation of effective nurse communication: (1) intelligence and self-efficacy, (2) Communication Skills, (3) Work Experience, (4) Perceptions, (5) Socio-cultural, and (6) Organization culture.
