<p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pendidikan Islam pada masa pemerintahan Sultan Muhammad Mulia Ibrahim Tsafiuddin tahun 1931-1943,  pengaruh Belanda terhadap pendidikan di Sambas pada masa pemerintahan Sultan Muhammad Mulia Ibrahim Tsafiuddin tahun 1931-1943, dan sistem pendidikan Madrasah Al-Sultaniyah. Penelitian menggunakan metode sejarah kritis yang terdiri dari empat langkah, yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Islam pada masa pemerintahan Sultan Muhammad Mulia Ibrahim Tsafiuddin adalah berlanjutnya pendidikan Madrasah Al-Sultaniyah yang masih berorientasi dalam pendidikan agama dan berkembang menjadi Tarbiyatul Islam. Pendidikan Islam di Sambas mendapat pengaruh Belanda terlihat Sekolah Tabiyatul Islam memasukkan semua pelajaran Holland Inlandsche School (HIS) dalam kurikulumnya. Ilmu pengetahuan modern, terutama bahasa Belanda yang diterapkan di sekolah Tarbiyatul Islam dipandang sebagai alat untuk mengejar kemajuan. Sistem pendidikan formal di Sambas melalui Madrasah Al-Sultaniyah mauoun Tarbiyatul Islam menggabungkan pendidikan Islam dan Pendidikan Belanda.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Kata Kunci:</strong> pendidikan, Sultan Mulia Ibrahim Tsafiuddin, Sambas</p><p> </p><p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The aim of this research is to find out the islamic education in era of Sultan Muhammad Mulia Ibrahim Tsafiuddin in 1931-1943, the influences of Netherland to the education in Sambas while the government of Sultan Muhammad Mulia Ibrahim Tsafiuddin in 1931-1943, and the system of education Madrasah Al-Sultaniyah. The methods of this research is a historical research. The methods of the research is descriptive-analitic includes four stages; heuristic, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this research show if islamic education in era of Sultan Muhammad Mulia Ibrahim Tsafiuddin is the continous of the education Madrasah Al-Sultaniyah with the orientation in education of religion and developing to be Tarbiyatul Islam. Islamic education in Sambas gain the influences from Netherland, we can see from Tarbiyatul Islam included all of studied from Holland Inlandsche School (HIS) in their curriculum. The modern science, especially Dutch language in Tarbiyatul Islam seeing as a tool for gain the significant progress. Purpose This paper aims to explore the level of hibah knowledge among Muslims in Kedah and investigate its determinants, consisting of education level, education stream, religiosity, social influence and social media. Design/methodology/approach This study is quantitative in nature. Questionnaires were distributed to collect data from Muslims in Alor Setar, Kedah. In total, 195 questionnaires were collected and data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Findings The study finds that Muslims in Alor Setar, Kedah have good knowledge of hibah. Further, education stream, religiosity, social influence and social media were identified as significant factors that influence their knowledge of hibah. Research limitations/implications The first limitation is its narrow focus in surveying Muslims only in Alor Setar, Kedah. The second limitation is the limited number of determinants used in investigating hibah knowledge among Muslims and the techniques used in analyzing the data. Despite these limitations, the study’s findings provide invaluable insights into the factors influencing hibah knowledge among Muslims in Alor Setar, Kedah. Practical implications This study provides insights regarding the significant personal factors and environmental factors to increase Muslims’ knowledge of hibah. The link between the Islamic education stream and hibah knowledge provides a clear indication that Islamic education can curb the economic problems caused by the substantial amounts of frozen and unclaimed assets in Malaysia. A significant relationship between the environmental factors (social influence and social media) and hibah knowledge also implies that the government and private agencies related to Islamic estate planning and management may use these significant determinants as part of the marketing strategy to increase the usage of hibah as an alternative tool for estate planning. Originality/value This study contributes to a better understanding of Muslims’ knowledge about hibah. The government and related agencies in Islamic estate planning and management can now gain better insights into Muslims’ level of knowledge about hibah and the factors influencing their knowledge of hibah as an effective tool for Islamic estate planning and management. Hence, more effective strategies can be recommended to enhance the knowledge of Muslims on hibah. The findings of this study should be of value to the government in its effort to address the increasing number of frozen estates in Malaysia.

Abstract Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah was one of the Islah Minangkabau scholar that play a huge role in the Islah Islamic thought and Islamic education reformation. Even though his education background is informal and was only received in the Minangkabau region, he can be regarded as an exemplary scholar that is very progressive and can be regarded highly with other Islah scholars. His biggest contribution that gives a huge impact towards the Muslim Minangkabau community is the Islamic education reformation with modern orientation. This model of modern Islamic education Institution that was introduced by Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyah became a prime example to the establishment of other Islamic education institution. Thus, this research will study the Islah movement in Minagkabau and the biography of Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah. In addition, the objective of this research is to analyse his role regarding the thought purification and Islamic education reformation in Indonesia.This research is a qualitative research that utilizes the content analysis as the research design with the use of historical research method.The finding of this research shows that Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah was one of the Islah scholars from the 20th century. Even though he did not receive a formal education and only receive his education in Minangkabau, he emerge as one of the reformation figure of Islah that have a huge impact to the Islah movement in Minangkabau especially the Islamic education reformation and also the Islah of Islamic thought in Minangkabau. The Islamic education reformation that has been done by Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah become the foundation and model of the Islamic education reformation in whole of Minangkabau and Indonesia. Walaupun beliau mempunyai latar belakang pendidikan yang tidak teratur dan hanya belajar dalam wilayah Minangkabau, namun beliau merupakan seorang tokoh ulama yang begitu progresif dan mampu menyamai tokoh-tokoh islah terkemuka yang lain. Sumbangan terbesar beliau yang memberi impak besar kepada umat Islam Minangkabau ialah pembaharuan pendidikan Islam berorientasikan moden. Model institusi pendidikan Islam moden yang diperkenalkan oleh Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah menjadi contoh kepada penubuhan institusi pendidikan Islam yang lain. Justeru, kajian ini meneliti gerakan islah di Minangkabau dan biografi Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah. Selain itu, objektif kajian ini juga menganalisis peranan beliau terhadap pemurnian pemikiran dan pembaharuan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Kajian ini merupakan kajian yang berbentuk kualitatif menggunakan analisis kandungan sebagai reka bentuk kajian dengan menggunakan metode kajian sejarah. Hasil kajian mendapati Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah merupakan seorang daripada ulama islah abad ke-20. Walaupun beliau tidak mendapat pendidikan yang sistematik dan hanya belajar di Minangkabau sahaja, beliau mampu muncul sebagai tokoh pembaharu dan islah yang memberi impak besar kepada gerakan islah di Minangkabau terutamanya reformasi pendidikan Islam dan juga islah pemikiran Islam di Minangkabau. Pembaharuan pendidikan Islam yang dilakukan oleh Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah menjadi asas dan model kepada pembaharuan pendidikan Islam di seluruh Minangkabau dan juga Indonesia. Studies on religious education teacher’s competences in Aceh could not be separated from studies on state’s intervention toward education. State hegemony occurs in the form of regulation formalization which regulates efforts for improving qualification and competence of teachers. The research showed that the presence of Act No. 14, 2005 and the Government Regulation No. 74, 2008 had been used as legal reference to encourage the improvement of Aceh religious education teachers’ qualification and competence. This is a qualitative study in which triangulation in data collection was used. The data was then collected through documentations, observations, and deep interviews. This work emphasizes that improving teachers’ competences in Islamic education system in Aceh was in accordance to and did not contradict with national education system and moreover strengthen the content of Act No. 14, 1005 and Government Regulation No. 74, 2008. Qualification and competence of religious education teachers in Aceh underwent improvement better than previous term. However, teachers experienced that socialization process and implementation of regulation has yet to receive upmost attention. The study also suggests that religious education teachers’ qualifications and competences will significantly contribute to the development of religious education quality, thus Islamic education transforms intently in national and state relations order.

Vaccines are one of the most significant innovations of modern science. Worldwide, millions of lives are saved each year by the vaccine. Vaccine hesitancy, which represents the refusal to receive vaccines when vaccination services are available and reachable, is a major obstacle to global health. While vaccine hesitancy has been present for many years, its damaging effects are likely to be more evident during the COVID-19 pandemic than ever before. This study aimed to find out common causes of vaccine hesitancy, assess COVID-19 vaccination acceptance rates worldwide, and present the approaches by which vaccine hesitancy rate can be reduced. This study revealed though vaccine hesitancy is a worldwide phenomenon, the causes differ from country to country or reign. More studies are needed to address COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy, especially in the Middle and South America, the Middle East and North Africa, Central Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe. The leading causes of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy are found lack of confidence towards the government or pharmaceutical companies, less concern about the outcome of SARS-CoV-2 infection, and shortage of supply of different types of COVID-19 vaccines. Healthcare personnel and social media play an essential role in addressing vaccine hesitancy. Convincing the general population about the safety and effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines, the consequence of being unvaccinated, and the delivery of free vaccines in an easily accessible way can reduce vaccine hesitancy rate.

This paper analyzes Mohammad Hatta's idea of modern Islamic education. Mohammad Hatta is not only known as a national figure and the first Indonesian vice president, but also a faithful, active individual in the field of Islamic education. He also expresses his idea regarding Islamic education in papers. Islamic education discourse still emerges as an important discussion topic today. This paper is the result of a qualitative study with literature review. The study aimed to discover Mohammad Hatta’s idea of modern Islamic education, which still emerges as a problem in today's Indonesian Islamic education. In this case, it is necessary to provide a representative, modern Islamic education in order to deliver ideal Muslim scholars. The study found that the construct of Mohammad Hatta’s idea on modern Islamic education was to create coherence between religion and modern science, comprising sociology, history, and philosophy. Such an idea is not merely an abstract, it was applied through the establishment of Sekolah Tinggi Islam (Islamic College) in 1945 as a modern Islamic higher education.

The objectives of this research: 1) what factors become a problem so that school cooperative still not become sharia based school cooperative? 2) How is the strategy to realize sharia cooperative in school? This research used a qualitative approach, i.e., Analytic Network Process (ANP). In applying the ANP method, the researcher does the following: 1) structuring the hierarchical complexity into the homogeneous clusters of the factors, 2) performing the measurements into the ratio scale at all the lowest levels of the hierarchy/ network, 3) synthesizing. Data used in this research is primary data collected from questionnaires and in depth interview with experts, the policy holder, students, and teacher coach. The results of the research show that 1) The factors that become the problem of difficulties in realizing sharia-based school cooperatives are less student participation, limited capital and infrastructure, knowledge of sharia co-operatives that are less good than students and teachers, and lack of coaching from the local cooperative office. 2) There are two strategies as a solution, i.e., an internal strategy which is the policy of school leadership to support the establishment of sharia-based school cooperatives; And external strategies that should be carried out by the government to support and develop sharia cooperatives including sharia-based school cooperatives.

The terms in the philosophy of Islamic education need more attention because of the variety of content and methods that sometimes appear paradoxes in their studies. This could be the result of the theoritization of Islamic education which was still dominated by classical Islamic thinkers in the pre-modern era. Moreover, the term philosophy is still not recognized as a part of comprehensive Islamic studies. Through historical research, this article intends to explore further the basic terms of Islamic education which are infused from Arabic. Rather than other terms, ta'dib has a historical syncornization and scope that corresponds to the fact that education is a human right in a scope that includes the basics in the Quran and Hadith.

Student’s mental representations of physical concepts are often different from those of scientists. The research aimed to identify and compare mental representations of light propagation time by school children aged 10 (132 subjects), and 14 (109 subjects) years old. This research was conducted through individual interviews in which the students were asked to locate light propagation time in various tasks-experimental situations. The results of this research show that even though the students of two groups face difficulties in understanding light propagation time, as they grow older, they make statistically significant progress in constructing the conception of light propagation time. These findings allow to seek out educational perspectives on the understanding of the conception of light propagation time in organised scholastic environments. <p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peran pers pada masa Orde Baru di Pontianak tahun 1966-1974. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metod penelitian sejarah dengan langkah-langkah heuristik (Pengumpulan sumber), verifikasi (Kritik sumber), interpretasi dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pers sebagai bagian dari sistem komunikasi, menempati posisi strategis dalam masyarakat Pontianak. Pers berperan sebagai jembatan komunikasi timbal balik antara pemerintah dan masyarakat, serta masyarakat dengan masyarakat sendiri. Sejarah pertumbuhan pers di Pontianak telah menempatkan kekhususan posisi dan ciri-ciri khas yang melekat pada pers sebagai lembaga kemasyarakatan. Pers mempunyai peranan dalam pengawasan pembangunan nasional sebagai realisasi dari tanggung jawab sosial sebagai alat kontrol sosial. Pemerintahan Orde membutuhkan kestabilan umum dalam menjalankan roda kepemerintahan dan menjaga wibawa negara.Pada awal masa orde baru pers di Pontianak memiliki peranan membantu pemerintah dalam menertipkan gejolak serta peristiwa yang terjadi di Pontianak. Pers terlihat sebagai satu tindakan nyata dalam propaganda pemerintah. Today, Instagram social network is one of the most popular in Ukraine. In addition, it is the most dynamic web resource, because its developers regularly optimize all features. If it was previously used only as a platform for distributing photos and their short descriptions, today it is a resource that also plays an important role in creating and disseminating information and messages. It is a social network that has won a large audience, especially young people. That is why it also influences the formation of public opinion and the image of the country and its authorities. Instagram is a particularly valuable resource in the work of a journalist, because nowadays it plays the role of the original source, as here you can find the latest and most interesting information directly from the participants of the informational events. The peculiarities and ways of submitting content on the account of the Office of the President of Ukraine and on the personal profile of Volodymyr Zelensky on the social network Instagram, as well as the motivation of the posts, are being examined in this scientific paper. The main "messages" which are created and distributed in order to form a positive image of the government authorities have been analysed. The main disadvantages, as well as the positive tendencies of the analysed in the work Insta-pages, that affect the image of Ukraine in the international arena, have been distinguished. A comparative analysis of the State Institution account (Office of the President of Ukraine), and the personal page of V. Zelensky, which previously had nothing to do with the political life of the country, has been done. Modern science needs researches in the field of Instagram accounts. After all, in order to work effectively on such a resource, it is necessary to optimize all knowledge and skills in this area. And compliance with all the requirements and following the trends of Instagram will help to form a positive image of our country in the world.
