This study is an exploratory descriptive research that attempts to explore the measurement indicators of debtors’ behavior in microfinance industry. It employs as much of previous studies showed little attention in the relation of debtor's behaviour and non-performing loans. On the contrary, they spotlight more on the banking-specific information and macroeconomics factors. Therefore, this research tries to discover the debtor's behaviour which is assumed to have an impact on non-performing loans. The behaviours which employed and proposed are impulsiveness, risk-taking behaviour, and trustworthiness. This study aims to inquiry the measurement scales of proposed behaviours as well as test the validity and reliability of those indicators by employing exploratory factor analysis (EFA). The result shows that there are three indicators accepted being a measuring instrument of impulsiveness, two for risk-taking behaviour, and four signs for trustworthiness. It also examines in the descriptive analysis of the debtor's behaviour based on their socio-demographic criteria such as gender, age, marriage status, and wage. The research result would give an insight into both empirical and practical advantage in terms of microfinancing management. Theoretically, this paper serves a valid and reliable of debtors’ behavior measurement scales that would contribute for future research in testing the relation of such behavior variables to non-performing loans.

This study aimed to establish the effect of cash dividend announcement on share price reaction of the firms listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE). This study used Event Study methodology with purely secondary drawn data from 24 firms listed on the NSE who meet the study threshold with an event window of eleven (11) days during the year 2008-2013. The study adopted the descriptive research design and sampling de-sign being purposive. STATA version SE12 was used to produce a descriptive analysis. The findings indicate that the share price reaction to dividend announcement is posi-tive for a dividend increase and negative for dividend decrease and constant for the constant dividend. The study therefore recommends that the effect of the dividend on the firm’s share price is very crucial for not only the literature but also for the regula-tion and supervision of the capital market and that further development of accounting standards, increased auditing skills, and advances in investor education will likely make dividends even more important in the future. Following these findings, it would be useful to also consider the following directions for future research on whether there is any joint effect of cash dividend, bonus issues, and right issues on the share price of firms listed on NSE.

In relation to organizational performance measurement, there is a growing concern about the creation of value for people, society and the environment. The traditional corporate reporting does not adequately satisfy the information needs of stakeholders for assessing an organization’s past and future potential performance. Practitioners and scholars have developed new non-financial reporting frameworks from a social and environmental perspective, giving birth to the field of Integrated Reporting (IR). The Economy for the Common Good (ECG) model and its tools to facilitate sustainability management and reporting can provide a framework to do it. The present study depicts the theoretical foundations from the business administration field research on which the ECG model relies. Moreover, this paper is the first one that empirically validates such measurement scales by applying of Exploratory Factor Analysis on a sample of 206 European firms. Results show that two out of five dimensions are appropriately defined, along with some guidelines to refine the model. Consequently, it allows knowledge to advance as it assesses the measurement scales’ statistical validity and reliability. However, as this is the first quantitative-driven research on the ECG model, the authors’ future research will confirm the present results by means of Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA).

The purpose of research is to determine the level of importance and the implementation of tourist facilities for tourists through the method of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) in Pusat Konservasi Pantai Penyu in Pariaman city. This research consists of 3 indicators of tourism facilities, namely: basic tourism facilities, complementary tourism facilities, tourism support facilities. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive research with survey method. The population in this study are all tourists who visit Pusat Konservasi Pantai Penyu with large population and the number is not known for sure. Sampling technique is non probability sampling, by using purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study amounted to 81 tourists. Data collection using questionnaires based on Likert Scale that has been tested for its validity and reliability. Based on the research result, it is concluded that in general the level of importance and the implementation of tourism facilities for tourists through the method of Importance Performance Analysis of 40% of tourists stated that tourism is important and needs to be provided and maintained in the restaurants, daily market, souvenir shop and mushalla.

The mechanics of running have been studied for hundreds of years. With the increase in interest in running as a recreational activity in recent years, running-related injuries have become common. Hundreds of studies on the mechanics of running have been conducted over the past few decades. However, the relationship between the mechanics of running and injury is still not well understood. This article describes the evolution of the study of the mechanics of running, with a focus on their relationship to injury. A brief historical review is presented, followed by a summary of the era of descriptive research and, finally, an overview of the more recent generation of hypothesis-driven research. The article concludes with suggestions for future research that may lead to greater insight into the relationship between lower-extremity biomechanics and injury.

Objective The purpose of this paper is to examine the relations between the concepts of service quality, perceived value, satisfaction and intention to pay in the context of theatrical services in the city of Medellín, Colombia. Design/methodology Quantitative research was carried out on a sample of 274 individuals who had attended the theatre at least once in the previous year. The information was gathered in October 2014 using an online survey. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to test the validity and reliability of the measurement scales, and a structural equations model was developed to test the hypotheses. Findings Satisfaction with overall service and with the central service (i.e. with the performance itself) was the major predictors of consumer intention to pay. Limitations/implications of the research Future research could replicate the analysis presented here for other cultural services and different geographical contexts. Practical implications Theatres should focus their efforts on offering a basic service (a theatrical presentation) that meets the cultural and artistic expectations of the public, but should also bear in mind that audiences expect to be treated well when they go out and want to feel comfortable. Originality/value This paper contributes to understand the factors that influence theatre clients’ intention to pay by taking into account the factors that affect satisfaction and perceived value of the theatregoing experience. It also contributes to academic reflections on the cultural consumption in the field of the theatrical arts in the Latin American region, where this is a new field of research.

Research conducted to obtain empirical evidence how the influence of independent variables of intellectual intelligence to accounting with moderating variables of emotional and spiritual intelligence. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with explanatory descriptive or explanatory research. This method is an explanatory research that proves the existence of causal relationship of independent variable (independent variable) that is intellectual intelligence; moderating variable (emotional and spiritual intelligence); and dependent variable (accounted dependent variable). Research begins by conducting library search, followed by primary data collection conducted by using questionnaires and secondary data through data analysis. And for the use of data analysis consists of descriptive analysis, classical assumption test and verification analysis with the method of Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). This study is a census study with homogeneous and limited population of 92 students, all students of Accounting Graduate Program at UNSOED. Conclusion of research result that is: (1) Intellectual intelligence have influence either positively or signifikan to accountancy. Thus intellectual intelligence can lead students to more easily understand accounting, (2) Intellectual intelligence can be strengthened by emotional intelligence on accounting both positively and significantly. (3) Spiritual intelligence can strengthen the influence of intellectual intelligence on accounting both positively and significantly.

This article aims to develop a short form of the locus of control scale. The study was conducted in two stages: a study of 66 respondents as pilot testing which aims to test content validity, structure validity, and internal consistency. Study 2 was conducted on 328 respondents used to test the validity and reliability of the scale evaluated by the PLS-SEM method (such as internal consistency, convergent validity, and discriminant validity). The analysis concludes that the 8-item locus of control scales tested have adequate validity and reliability. A short form locus of control scale was developed and validated in this study, so it can be used in future research and evaluation for HR management practitioners in employee selection Keywords: locus of control, EFA, CFA, scale construction
