This research revolves around the causes of female dropouts in Karachi at different educational levels, including primary, secondary, high school and university levels. In this research exploratory sequential mixed method has been used. After the literature review, the phenomenological research method for the qualitative phase of research has been adopted. In this regard, the interviews have been taken by different educationalists in Karachi on the basis of their experience and age via the convenience sampling method. All the hypotheses have been tested and accepted at this stage. Under the umbrella of results of the first phase, the questionnaire has been designed for quantitative research, i.e. the second phase of the research. The sample size for the second phase is 200; the data has been collected via quota sampling. The frequency of every element included in the quantitative phase has been detected separately by using descriptive analysis through SPSS. Finally, conclusions have been made on the basis of data analysis.

University is a representative facility to develop independent character through entrepreneurship event at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Serambi Mekkah, Banda Aceh. It is argued that the university can reshape the future leaders of a country. This study aims to develop an independent character through an entrepreneurship event at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Serambi Mekkah, Banda Aceh. The long-term aim of this research is to create university alumni having high integrity, independent soul, and entrepreneurial spirit. The research designed as Research and Development (R&D) conducted within two phases. In the first phase, a survey on method and approach utilized as an input for the development of entrepreneurship learning methods. In the second phase, the trial of the entrepreneurship learning method will be conducted in the field with the involvement of students and lecturers. The research method is using a mixed method approach. As the data collection method, the researcher conducts interviews, documentation, and observation. Additionally, the Likert scale is used during quantitative research. The total population of this research is 130 students from four different departments within the Faculty of Islamic Studies. The sample itself is thirteen students from the population. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The data analysis technique utilizes quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that from 13 respondents of the entrepreneurship event, there are only two brave students who open independent businesses and new employments after finishing their studies. Both of the students are coming from the PAI department: T. Basyira opens a cafe named "Moment Caffee" besides BBG College Darussalam; and Muliani who opens a grocery store at Ateuk Pahlawan. Both of them successfully manage their time to graduate on time and to work in their businesses. Abstrak Perguruan Tinggi merupakan sarana yang representatif dalam mengembangkan karakter mandiri melalui kegiatan entrepreneurship pada Fakultas Agama Islam di Universitas Serambi Mekkah, Banda Aceh karena perguruan tinggi dinilai mampu membentuk cikal bakal calon pemimpin bangsa. Penelitan ini bertujuan mengembangkan karakter mandiri melalui kegiatan entrepreneurship pada Fakultas Agama Islam di Universitas Serambi Mekkah, Banda Aceh. Tujuan jangka panjang penelitian ini adalah  untuk mewujudkan lulusan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki integritas yang tinggi, memiliki jiwa mandiri, dan mampu menciptakan lapangan kerja baru. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan dalam dua tahap. Tahap pertama melakukan survey tentang pendekatan yang digunakan sebagai masukan dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran entrepreneurship. Tahap kedua, dilakukan uji coba pengembangan pembelajaran entrepreneurship di lapangan dengan melibatkan mahasiswa dan dosen. Metode penelitian ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan mixed method. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Pada penelitian kuantitatif, peneliti menggunakan skala likert. Dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 130 mahasiswa Fakultas Agama Islam yang terdiri dari 4 program studi, peneliti mengambil sampel sebanyak 13 orang dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisa data menggunakan analisa deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 13 mahasiswa yang dilakukan uji coba dalam kegiatan entrepreneurship, hanya 2 orang mahasiswa yang berani membuka usaha mandiri.  Kedua mahasiswa tersebut berasal dari jurusan PAI yakni T. Basyira yang membuka kafe dengan nama “Moment Caffee” di samping Kampus BBG Darussalam dan Muliani yang membuka warung kelontong di Ateuk Pahlawan. Keduanya mampu menyelesaikan kuliahnya tepat waktu sambil bekerja. Kata Kunci: karakter mandiri, entrepreneurship, dan integritas

ABSTRAK The purpose of this research is to explain the effect of Internal Factors toward student interest in entrepreneurship on Economics and Business Faculty of Jambi University. Sampling techniques used on is Non-Probability Sampling with Convenience Sampling Method. The number of respondents is 100 consumers. Technique analysis for this research use descriptive analysis to describe the research variables and multiple regression analysis to find the effect between research variables using SPSS 20.0. The fungi kingdom is among the important topics of biology, and students can develop misunderstandings and misconceptions about this subject.This study aims to determinemisunderstandings and misconceptions of 5th-grade students about fungi. The participants of the study consisted of 22 (12 girls, 10 boys) fifth graders of an elementary school in Erzurum city center, which was determined by the convenience sampling method. In this qualitative study, a 'semi-structured interview form' was used. The form includes 16 open-ended questions prepared following the learning outcomes of the curriculum. The data collected in the study were subjected to descriptive analysis and the findings were presented by calculating the frequency and % values. The findings indicate that the students have misunderstandings and misconceptions on the structure of mold, yeast, and fungi, their feeding, whether they are alive, their classification, reproduction, living conditions, etc.At the end of the study, some suggestions were made on the teaching of the biology concepts with examples from daily life, usage of visual elements during teaching, more laboratory applications. It is also suggested that similar studies should be implemented with different grade levels and sample groups.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of taxation socialization, tax service quality and tax rates on individual taxpayer compliance at the Padang Satu Primary Tax Office. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all individual taxpayers registered at the Padang Satu Primary Tax Office. Sampling was done using the Convenience Sampling method, with the Yamane formula calculation and a sample of 100 taxpayers was obtained. The data collection method used is using a questionnaire, and the analysis used is multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 16. The results of the study show that: (1) Tax socialization has a positive significant effect on individual taxpayer compliance, (2) Service quality tax does not affect the compliance of individual taxpayers, (3) Tax rates do not affect individual taxpayer compliance.Keywords: Taxation Socialization, Tax Service Quality, Tax Rates and Individual Taxpayer Compliance.

This study aimed to evaluate an English course-book for eight graders entitled “When English Rings the Bell” published by the Ministry of Culture and Education of Indonesia in 2014. The study discussed what the teachers perceived as a good quality course-book and what recommendations they expected for the improvement of the course-book. The study was carried out in Bengkayang District. It employed a mixed-method with 15 English teachers as the research subjects.  It applied the convenience sampling method and collected data using a questionnaire designed based on Tomlinson’s course-book evaluation framework and analyzed by interpreting the subjects’ answers. The finding revealed that the teachers perceived the course-book positively with some recommendations for its improvement.

There are differences between the preference of women and men as consumers. Women are more emotionally unstable, and open to feelings and aesthetic experiences. In this intense competition between local and imported footwear which is global brands, it is challenging for local footwear products to survive in the industry. It is a requirement for the brands (in this research, local footwear brands) to understand the attitudes of the customers from time to time, especially women. Hence, the marketer needs to understand the factors influencing customer purchase intention for local footwear products. This research is a quantitative research that conducted to explore the objective of the study. The method used is surveying by questioning the respondents to gather information. The researcher has conducted the survey through an online questionnaire as a tool for data collection with the total of 242 respondents. The population of this study is consisted of women between age 15-54 years old that have ever been buying local footwear products. In this study, as part of convenience sampling, we select non-probability sampling which is a judgmental sampling. Then, the data are analyzed using validity, reliability, classical assumption, pearson, simple linear regression, and descriptive analysis. After the analysis sequence has been performed, the formulated comprehensive description of findings are presented. Keywords: women, local footwear product, customer attitude, purchase intention

Almost all activities in all sectors are supported by technology and information. Fintech has attracted much attention, but the current use of Fintech is still in doubt. This study aims specifically to determine the specific benefits that are felt as well as the negative impacts arising from the use of Fintech together can influence the use of Fintech repeatedly, specifically for the younger generation. This type of research is quantitative research. The sampling method used is Quota Sampling. In this study, 20 samples will be taken from several universities in Malang. Based on the results of the research and discussion of this study, it can be concluded that the higher the economic benefits and comfort provided by Fintech, the higher the recurring assistance for Fintech. Financial risk (financial influence) as a moderating variable that influences the effect of economic benefits (economic benefits) on the continuation of financial technology intentions (intention to use repeatedly in financial technology products). The financial risk offered by Fintech means the higher interest in using Fintech because of the higher the level of Fintech usage the higher.

Abstract: The Knowledge Society, Tamarind, Cough. Cough is one of the body's defense mechanisms, especially respiratory should be managed properly. Coughmechanism depends on five components: cough receptors, afferent nerve center, cough, nerve efferent, and effector. Based on preliminary studies conducted by the authors obtained the data that the knowledge society is very diverse Bakung village. The purpose of this study to determine the knowledge society Bakung village, Jogonalan, Klaten of tamarind to cough. This research is descriptive quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique using a quota sampling with 30 respondents. Data collection instruments used were questionnaires knowledge of tamarind. Data was analyzed by descriptive analysis. Results of analysis of the data showed that respondents who have a good knowledge of a number of 27 respondents (90%), while respondents who have sufficient knowledge of three respondents (10%). The conclusion of this study that people's knowledge of tamarind to cough, with both categories (90%), and knowledge of the category enough (10%).

Meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) tourism is a specialized area of the tourist industry growing in importance due to the growth of business tourism worldwide. In San Carlos City, the MICE industry is not yet fully developed; assessing the city's potential as a MICE destination is still essential to ascertain if the city has adhered to all the necessary qualifications and has sufficient facilities and services. As a result, using the Five A's of Tourism, the study assessed the potential of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental as a MICE destination and investigated stakeholders' perceived demands, difficulties, and opportunities. Using the quota sampling method, data were gathered from the respondents comprising tourism key players and tourists through a researcher-made checklist questionnaire. Descriptive analysis through frequency count and distribution percentage was used to analyze the data. Based on the findings, the city shows potential as a MICE-destination as determined using the Five A's of tourism. Generally, the study's findings may provide a basis for a proposed three-year MICE Tourism Development Plan of San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
