Medan is the third-largest city in Indonesia, so Medan has various kinds of relics used as tourist attractions. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a fall in the number of tourist visits and the lack of promotional facilities for potential tourists who will visit. The important circumstances of the conditions that encourage the development of City Tourism Empowerment in the Era of Society 5.0 based on Virtual Reality as one of the researchers' efforts in developing new tourism concepts during a pandemic by using the research method used are the combination method. The survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires to determine the public's perception of VR technology for tourism, especially designing Virtual Reality 3600, using the 6-stage MDCL design model in building VR applications. It was determining the correct hotspot, switching interfaces, and display flow that made it easy. The application results were then tested as VR-based tourism content in Medan city tourism to get a response time value of <1 second and a UAT value of 94% from 20 users from 18-50 years of age.

Abstract Riau has many new tourist attractions that are no less attractive to tourist attractions that are already well-known in other regions of Indonesia, but are not widely known by domestic and foreign tourists. So far, the promotion of tourist attractions is only based on writing and photos of one side that is less interactive. Increasing the promotion of tourism locations is needed to increase the interest of tourists to visit the place. One effort that can be done in the development of media promotion of tourist attractions is to use current technological developments, such as a Virtual Tour application. Virtual Reality (VR) application which is designed to be used as a medium of information and tourism promotion in Riau province. The impression of a virtual reality tour using 360°degree photos makes users feel as if they are in the environment. The research method used is the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages which include analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The sample data was used as many as 18 tourism sites taken from 3 districts namely Pekanbaru City, Kampar and Rokan Hulu. Based on the results of the study obtained all the functions of the application run well and are expected to help tourists and the public provide information about the location of tourist attractions and can increase the potential of tourism in the province of Riau, especially Pekanbaru City. Selama ini promosi tempat wisata hanya berdasarkan tulisan dan foto satu sisi yang kurang interaktif. Meningkatkan promosi lokasi pariwisata diperlukan untuk meningkatkan minat wisatawan untuk berkunjung ke tempat tersebut. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam pengembangan media promosi tempat wisata adalah dengan menggunakan perkembangan teknologi saat ini, seperti sebuah aplikasi Virtual Tour. Aplikasi Virtual Reality (VR) yang dirancang digunakan sebagai media informasi dan promosi pariwisata provinsi Riau. Kesan virtual tour reality menggunakan foto 360° derajat membuat pengguna dapat merasa seolah-olah berada di dalam lingkungan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Model pengembangan  ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yang meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Data sampel digunakan sebanyak 18 tempat pariwisata yang diambil dari 3 kabupaten yaitu Kota Pekanbaru, Kampar dan Rokan Hulu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapat semua fungsi aplikasi berjalan dengan baik dan diharapkan dapat membantu wisatawan serta masyarakat memberikan informasi tentang lokasi tempat wisata dan dapat meningkatkan potensi pariwisata di propinsi Riau khususnya Kota Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the factors that cause a decrease in tourist visits and efforts made by the Ternate City Tourism Office in overcoming the decreasing intensity of tourist visits in Sulamadaha Beach Tourism Attractions. Ternate located in North Maluku Province. Ternate is one of 10 districts in North Maluku Province that have many tourist attractions, for example Sulamadaha Beach. Sulamadaha Beach is an attraction that is managed directly by the Ternate City Tourism Office and the local community, Sulamadaha Beach has beautiful underwater  natural beauty, according to data from the Ternate City Tourism Office Sulamadaha Beach is the most popular destination for tourists, but this does not last long as it is known from the data of tourist visits that Sulamadaha Beach every year has decreased, related to this, it will be research about  "The efforts of the City of Ternate Tourism Office in Overcoming the Decreasing Intensity of Tourist Visits in Sulamadaha Beach Attractions" The research method used in this study is the type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that there are several factors that cause a decrease in the intensity of tourist visits in Sulamadaha Beach Tourism by using the concept of Sapta Charms, namely safe factors, orderly factors, and friendly factors, Ternate City Tourism Office has also designed several programs to stabilize the problem. The article presents a description of the research method and the results of research regarding the difference in the reception of space depending on the way it is perceived. The research concerned one space (the square in front of the building of the Eastern Innovative Centre of Architecture at the Lublin University of Technology) and three different reception methods. One group of respondents was physically in the square, the other group virtually – with the use of virtual reality (VR) technologies, and the third one saw only pictures of the square. Each group of respondents chose the emotions with which they identified most from the semantic scale developed for this study. The results of the groups were compared, and the conclusions were presented in the summary. The study was conducted to evaluate the possibility of using VR technology and photographs to study emotions that a given space evokes in its recipients.

This study presents a research report on improving students’ Learning results on IPA through Video. The objective was to find out whether students’ learning result improved when they are taught by using Video. It was conducted using classroom action research method. The subject of the study was the Grade IV students of SDN 187/IV Kota Jambi which is located on Jln. Adi Sucipto RT 05 Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, and the number of the students were 21 persons. The instruments used were test. In analyzing the data, the mean of the students’ score for the on fisrt sycle was 65,4 (42,85%) and the mean on cycle two was 68,5 (37,15%) and the mean of the third cycle was 81,4 (100%). Then it can be concluded that the use of video on learning IPA can improve the students’ learning result. It is suggested that teachers should use video as one of the media to improve students’ learning result on IPA.Keywords : IPA, students’ learning result, video

Implementation of the 2013 curriculum is very different from the previous curriculum, there are still many obstacles that we know greatly affect the learning outcomes, both in terms of media used, the assessment in the 2013 curriculum is more complicated than the previous curriculum then the methods used to convey the learning materials that want to be taught not effective or even incompatible with the material to be conveyed. This research method is a classroom action research conducted in improving the learning process, with four meetings. The assessment taken in this study is an evaluation evaluation of each meeting in the form of attitudinal value, value of knowledge and skill value based on teacher's book on theme 4 "Healthy is Important" with sub theme 1 "Importance of Health and Environment". On the attitudes that appear attitude of self-confidence, curiosity and independence Already entrusted by 20.68% confidence, and curiosity while mandated 6.2% lower because students are still not familiar with the implementation of the curriculum 2013. Results of student knowledge seen the development in excellent value at the first meeting of 36.4%, at the second meeting decreased to 30.3%, while at the third meeting experienced a 52.25% increase again. While on the results of these students' skills on four meetings emerged every meeting with a very good category at the first meeting of 18.1%, at the second meeting increased to 27.3%, the third meeting decreased to 20.68%, while at the fourth meeting increased again by 65.62%.

ABSTRAK  Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian bubuk daun Moringa oleifera (MO) terhadap kuantitas dan kualitas semen sapi peranakan ongole (PO). Metode penelitian menggunakan percobaan lapang dengan rancangan acak lengkap dengan tiga perlakuan pemberian MO sebesar 0 kg/ekor/hari (P1); 0,05 kg/ekor/hari (P2) dan 0,1 kg/ekor/hari (P3). Analsis data menggunakan one way analysis of variance. Masing-masing perlakuan terdiri atas empat ekor dengan tiga periode pengamatan sebagai ulangan, yaitu periode pertama dan ketiga tanpa MO, dan periode kedua diberikan MO pada P2 dan P3. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa volume dan pH semen perlakuan P1, P2 dan P3 tidak berbeda semua periode pengamatan. Motilitas massa spermatozoa P2 dan P3 periode kedua dan ketiga menunjukan nilai +++ berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dibandingkan dengan P1 (++); motilitas individu  perlakuan P1 menunjukkan nilai terendah 60,56±2,94 % (P<0,05) dibandingkan P2 dan P3 pada periode kedua dan ketiga (75,50±2,29 dan 72,50±2,34%). Konsentrasi spermatozoa P2 dan P3 periode kedua dan ketiga menunjukkan rata-rata  >1.350 juta/ml berbeda nyata (P<0,05) daripada P1 (876±152juta/ml), sedangkan total spermatozoa motil menunjukkan nilai tertinggi 5.647±829 juta/ml pada P3 periode kedua.Viabilitas spermatozoa P2 dan P3 menunjukkan nilai >88-89 % beda nyata (P<0,05) daripada P1 (<84 %) pada periode kedua dan ketiga, sedangkan nilai abnormalitas spermatozoa yang terbaik adalah P2 sebesar 4,30% pada periode kedua dan P3 sebesar 5,33% pada periode ketiga. Disimpulkan pemberian bubuk daun MO dengan dosis 0,1 kg/ekor/hari dapat memperbaiki kuantitas dan kualitas semen (viabilitas dan total spermatozoa motil) sapi pejantan PO.Kata kunci:  kuantitas dan kualitas semen, Moringa oleifera, sapi pejantan ABSTRACTThe research aimed to determine the effect of Moringa oleifera (MO) leaf powder on the quantity and quality of semen of ongole crossbreed. The research method used was a field experiment with a completely randomized design with three treatments giving MO of 0 kg/head/day (P1); 0.05 kg/head/day (P2) and 0.1 kg/head/day (P3). Each treatment consisted of four heads with three periods of observation as replications, namely the first and third periods without MO, and the second period was given MO on P2 and P3. Data analysis used a one-way analysis of variance. The results showed that the volume and pH of semen treated P1, P2, and P3 didn’t different in all observation periods. The second and third period spermatozoa mass motility of P2 and P3 showed that the value of +++ was significantly different (P<0.05) compared to P1 (++); Individual motility of P1 treatment showed the lowest value 60,56±2,94 % (P<0.05) compared to P2 and P3 in the second and third periods (75,50±2,29 and 72,50±2,34%). The second and third periods of P2 and P3 spermatozoa concentrations showed an average of >1,350 million/cc significantly different (P<0.05) than P1 (876±152 million/cc), while the total motile spermatozoa showed the highest value of 5,647±829 million/cc in the second period P3. The spermatozoa viability of P2 and P3 showed values >88-89% significantly different (P<0.05) than P1 (<84%) in the second and third periods, while the best spermatozoa abnormalities were P2 at 4.30% in the second period and P3 at 5.33% in the third period. It was concluded that the giving of MO leaf powder at a dose of 0,1 kg/head/day could improve the quantity and quality of semen (viability and total motile spermatozoa) of Ongole Crossbreed bulls. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui penelitian tindakan kelas dengan melibatkan subjek sebanyak 39 orang mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Tenik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Unimed, menyangkut permasalahahan implementasi contextual teaching-learning melalui riset mini dalam perkuliahan metode penelitian pengajaran. Masalahnya adalah apakah implementasi kontekstual teaching learning melalui riset mini dapat meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam membangun proposal penelitian?. Penelitian dilakukan dalam 5 siklus dengan target capaian yaitu 85% mahasiswa mencapai skor ≥ 80. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu ada peningkatan dari siklus ke siklus berikutnya, yaitu pada siklus I ada 12 orang mahasiswa (30,76%) mencapai target; pada siklus II ada 19 orang   mahasiswa (48,71%) mencapai target; Pada siklus III ada 24 orang mahasiswa (61,53%) mencapai target; Pada siklus IV terdapat sejumlah 28 orang mahasiswa (71,79%) yang mencapai target; dan pada siklus V terdapat 34 orang mahasiswa (87,17%) sudah mencapai target. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian disimpulkan bahwa implementasi contextual teaching learning melalui riset mini dapat meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam membangun proposal penelitian.   Kata Kunci: Implementasi kontekstual teaching learning   Abstract: The research was conducted through action research involving subjects as many as 39 students of electrical education department of  technical faculty Unimed, concerning the problems of contextual teaching learning implementation through mini rsearch in education research method course. The formulation of this researh problem is “whether the implementation of contextual teaching learning through mini research can improve students' competencies in building research proposal?. The study was conducted in 5 cycles with a target achievement of 85% of students achieving a score of ≥ 80. The results are an increase of the cycle to the next cycle, the first cycle, there were 12 students (30.76%) targets; in the second cycle there are 19 students (48.71%) targets; In the third cycle there were 24 students (61.53%) targets; in the fourth cycle there are a number of 28 students (71.79%) to reach the target, and the cycle of V contained 34 students (87.17%) has reached the target. Based on the findings of the study concluded that the implementation of contextual teaching learning through mini research can improve the competence of students in developing research proposals.   Keywords: Contextual teaching learning implementation

This research concerns on improving students’ writing achievement in the report text through film.  The objective was to find out the improvement of students’ writing achievement in writing the report text through film. This research was conducted by using action research method. The subject of the research was XI IPA grade students of SMA SWASWTA JOSUA Medan. The numbers of students were thirty one students. They were taught writing the report text through film. The instruments used were writing report text test, diary notes, interview sheets, questionnaire sheets and observation sheets. In analyzing data, the mean of students’ score for the first competency test was 43.1, for the second competency test was 64.8 and for the third competency test was 76.3 and the total percentage of improvement from the first competency test to the third competency test was 84.1%. The conclusion is that through watching film can improve the students’ writing achievement in the report text. It is suggested that teachers should apply watching film as one of media to improve students’ writing achievement in the report text.

The purpose of this study is to determine the meaning of coffee for Barista in specialty coffee shop. The concept used in this study is the concept of self-image or an individual image. The concept of self-image also explains the feelings and thoughts of individuals. The research method used is qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Whereas data collection is done by conducting observations, interviews and literature studies. The results of this study show that the meaning of coffee for Barista in specialty coffee shop is the deeper their understanding of knowledge about coffee, the stronger the meaning conveyed to their customers and also to increase the sense of self respect as Barista. Besides that, the interaction built between the Barista and the customers can also strengthen the characteristic of the coffee shops, which is to be the specialty coffee shop in the third wave era.

ABSTRAK Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen humas radio Rama FM Bandung dalam meningkatkan pemasang iklan dari mulai tahapan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan sampai dengan pengawasan, metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mengetahui karakteristik  dengan cara berinteraksi secara langsung dan mendalam mengenai sebuah program dan ringkasan yang digambarkan pada konteks di atas mendasari untuk menggali dan mendeskripsikan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dijalankan oleh radio Rama FM Bandung dalam meningkatkan pemasang iklan. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualittaif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kegiatan manajemen humas radio Rama FM Bandung dalam meningkatkan pemasang iklan dimulai pada tahapan pertama yaitu perencanaan pembuatan proposal, inovasi program, pengemasan iklan dan penyampaian iklan. Tahapan kedua yaitu pengorganisasian dengan komunikasi, membentuk team, pertimbangan tugas, dan persetujuan dari pimpinan. Tahapan ketiga yaitu pelaksanaan sesuai tugas, presentasi, pelaksanaan tugas sesuai susunan, pelaksanaan kegiatan. Tahap keempat yaitu pengawasan koordinasi, kinerja team yang bertugas, program yang berlangsung, dan pengawasan proses sebagai bahan evaluasi. ABSTRACT This writing aims to determine radio public relations management Rama FM Bandung in increasing advertisers from the stages of planning, organizing, implementation to supervision, this research method uses a case study method to determine the characteristics by interacting directly and deeply about a case and summary illustrated in the above context underlying to explore and describe the activities carried out by radio Rama FM Bandung in improving advertisers. The analysis of this study uses descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the radio public relations management activities of Rama FM Bandung in increasing advertisers began in the first stage, namely the planning of making proposals, program innovation, packaging of advertisements and delivery of advertisements. The second stage is organizing with communication, forming teams, considering assignments, and approval from the leadership. The third stage is the implementation of tasks, presentations, implementation of tasks according to the arrangement, implementation of activities. The fourth stage is monitoring coordination, the performance of the team in charge, the ongoing program, and monitoring the process as an evaluation material.
