As in the other areas, the management of waqf land in PCM Turi, Sleman, DIY has not been optimal, even though it has great potential if managed properly. This is due to the knowledge, insight and skills of the PCM Turi in managing the waqf land into a productive garden and making the waqf land as a medium for da'wah is still limited. Therefore, a community service program was conducted with several methods including coordination, counseling, technology transfer, training, as well as mentoring and evaluation. The results of the community service program show that the community service program has been carried out well, with the establishment of productive fruit and vegetable gardens. PCM Turi gains knowledge and skills in managing waqf land into productive land, so that it can become a media for da'wah bil hal and become an example for the other PCMs in managing the waqf land

The problems faced by the children of Banjarmasin Al-Ashr Orphanage are almost the same as those faced by other orphanages in the city of Banjarmasin, namely, lack funds and personnel or volunteers who help and guide orphanage children to develop their skills and creativity as a provision in carrying out life after the completion of the orphanage. The purpose of this community service program is to make the children of the Al-Ashr Orphanage have a strong and more independent motivation by providing them with the knowledge and skills they will use to prepare themselves for the future. While the target of this activity is to make the children of the Al-Ashr Orphanage have design skills in making invitations, brochures, and banners as well as online businesses. The method used is training and guidance, where training is carried out with presentations and practices.

Formalin and borax are dangerous chemicals that are often misused as food preservatives. Various inspections have been carried out to minimize the use of formalin and borax in food, but there are still many formalin and borax in foods. The community, especially housewives, should have the ability to identify the presence of formalin and borax in food in order to protect family members from the exposure of those chemicals. Housewives in Pamijen Sub-District do not have knowledge and skills to identify formalin and borax content in food yet. Through this community service program, housewives in Pamijen Sub-District are expected to be able to test formalin and borax content in food independently. The program began with counseling about the food characteristics that contains formalin and borax; and the impact on health. This program continued with training on how to identify and practicing on how to detect formalin and borax in some food samples with a simple and an easy method. The results indicate that this program can increase patricipants’ knowledge about formalin and borax; and skills to identify them. Keywords: preservatives, formalin, borax, food

Galur Subdistrict is an area that has abundant art and tradition potential and is in great demandby its people. Unfortunately, the art performances and traditions that are carried out only aim merelyto continue what have been done through generations. On the other hand, the influx of modernarts has become a threat to preserving traditional culture, especially among young people who aresupposed to be the guardians of the traditions. Tis encourages Javanese Literature Study Programto carry out a community service program consisting of a series of training program as the StudyProgram’s concern and real action for cultural preservation.The training program is carried out through mentoring in motivating, counseling, education,discussion, and consultation. By using such mentoring techniques, it is expected that the result of theprogram will be optimum, namely raising public awareness to increase language literacy, knowledgeof literature, and the knowledge of the art performances they have. In turn, they will be able tomanage the performances as a professional art performance organizer in the region.The outcomes of the community service program comprise the increasing ability of participants inreading and writing simple texts using Javanese alphabet, participants’ ability to compose macapatsongs and sing them, the participants’ ability to write Javanese poems with the rinengga language,the participants’ ability create a series of dances and nursery rhymes to be performed, and theparticipants’ ability to become masters of ceremonies. Abstrak Sebagai agent of change mahasiswa dituntut tidak hanya memiliki ilmu dan keahlian sesuai dengan bidangnya, tetapi juga siap untuk terjun ke dalam masyarakat mengimplementasikan ilmu dan keterampilan yang mereka milliki, membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan riil yang sedang dihadapi masyarakat atau memberi pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat supaya mereka bisa hidup lebih baik. Untuk memenuhi tuntutan tersebut institut teknologi sepuluh nopember (ITS) menyelenggarakan program kuliah kerja nyata (KKN) kepada mahasiswa. Sesuai dengan wilayah keilmuan mahasiswa yang berbasis pada teknologi dan aplikasinya, maka kegiatan KKN juga bertema teknologi serta aplikasinya sehingga kegiatan-kegiatan KKN di dalam masyarakat juga tidak lepas dari tema teknologi dan aplikasinya. Dengan demikian, KKN ITS menjadi sarana yang tepat untuk membantu masyarakat menghadapi era revolusi industri sekarang ini di mana teknologi dan aplikasinya menjadi inti keberlangsungannya. Kata Kunci: pemberdayaan masyarakat, KKN tematik, penerapan teknologi, revolusi industri Abstract As agents of change, students are required not only to have knowledge and expertise in their fields, but they must also be ready to be in the community to implement the knowledge and skills they have, help solve real problems faced by the community or provide knowledge and skills to the community so they can lead better life. To meet these goals, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November (ITS) conducted community service program (KKN) for students to communities. In line with ITS students’ background, the themes of KKN were related with technology and its applications, so that the KKN activities in the community were also inseparable from the theme of technology and its application. Thus, KKN ITS is the right medium to help the community in facing the current era of the industrial revolution in which technology and its application serve as its core. The aim of the Community Service Program, Kuliah Kerja Nyata- Pembelajaran dan Pemberdayaan Kepada Masyarakat (KKN-PPM) is to improve the skills of society in Sindanglaya village, Cinangka. The problem faced does not know the use the waste of plastic to produce the useful and selling value products. The method of implementing this service is through (1) Survey through observation, interviews, and analysis of problems and potential of the village, (2) Training on making paving block from the waste of plastic. The results of this program are increasing knowledge and skills of the community regarding training on making paving block from the waste of plastic. This program is expected to facilitate the community in increasing their knowledge and skills in processing the waste materials into products that are useful and have selling value, therefore that the societies in Sindanglaya become productive communities.

The goal to be achieved in this service program is to help compile and make financial statements CV. Kasih dan Sayang. Specific targets to be completed are knowledge and skills in preparing and formatting financial statements. The problem in preparing financial statements is knowledge and skills in the recording of business finances. Therefore, the challenges in this target group need to be overcome by increasing knowledge and training in making financial statements that are easy and helping financial records for partners. The method that will be used in this service program is participation method. CV. Kasih dan Sayang were given financial statement training. The results of this community service activity are trainees who are able to provide training materials that are supported by using financial statements formats in the form of MS. Excel is in accordance with the case of business transactions. In addition, the financial statement format is in the form of an MS. Excel will tidy up and make it easier to make business financial statements.

Desa Cipacing merupakan kawasan dengan lahan pertanian yang produktif akan tetapi seiring terjadinya perubahan orientasi kawasan di Kecamatan Jatinangor dari yang tadinya kawasan pertanian menjadi kawasan pendidikan, Desa Cipacing pun turut berubah menuju kawasan industri. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan alternatif kegiatan kewirausahaan dengan manfaat kepada kebersihan, keindahan dan kenyamanan lingkungan warga khususnya lingkungan rumah dengan pemukiman padat juga memberikan keuntungan dari hasil menanam bibit jeruk lemon di pekarangan untuk peningkatan pendapatan sekaligus kegiatan kewirausahaan keluarga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk pengambilan sample adalah dengan menggunakan purposive sampling, disertai survey dan wawancara sedangkan untuk membuat analisa menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan peran warga aktif. Hasil dan temuan dari pengabdian ini adalah dapat diketahui bahwa masyarakat Desa Cipacing khususnya di RW 01, 07, 15 dan 18 sudah menyadari bahwa dengan adanya program penanaman tanaman jeruk lemon, masyarakat memahami bahwa penghijauan lingkungan sekitar sangatlah diperlukan mengingat wilayah Desa Cipacing merupakan pemukiman padat penduduk. Akan tetapi disisi lain masyarakat belum memahami secara jangka panjang bahwa bibit jeruk lemon tersebut bisa menghasilkan profit keberlanjutan untuk setiap keluarga.  Dengan demikian, diperlukannya pengembangan sebuah lembaga sosial seperti GAPOKTAN (Gabungan Kelompok Tani) yang dapat mengembangkan potensi warga dengan usaha bibit jeruk lemon dari mulai proses cara menanam, merawat, hingga sampai menjual produk untuk memenuhi permintaan pasar. Cipacing village is farmland which is so productive but facing the issue of the oriented area changing that frequently occurs in Jatinangor sub-district from farmland to educational area, it also transforms Cipacing village into industry area. This community service program proposes to give alternative solution relating to entrepreneurship with cleanliness, beauty and safety for the home environment especially densely populated but also it can make a profit from planting lemonade seeds in the courtyard to increase the income and for the entrepreneurship family. The method that is used to take samples is purposive sampling with survey and interview while for analyzing uses qualitative analysis and people’s involvement.The result and findings from this program can be figured out that with cultivating lemonade, the people comprehend that greening is a must due to Cipacing village is densely populated. On the other side, the people are far away from understanding that in the future planting lemonade seeds can be a sustainable profit for every family. Therefore, it takes social institutions such as GAPOKTAN (the farmer group) that could develop the people’s potency by planting lemonade seeds from the beginning process of how to plant, maintain until selling the product to fulfilling the market demand.

ABSTRAKPengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para perempuan yang berusia produktif mengenai kewirausahaan serta memanfaatkan peluang bisnis di era digital dan di masa pandemi, sehingga para perempuan dapat berdaya secara ekonomi. Program pengabdian masyarakat melibatkan 132 perempuan berusia produktif dari seluruh Indonesia. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap. Tahap pertama adalah memetakan usaha yang akan membantu perekonomian para perempuan. Tahap kedua adalah tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap ketiga adalah tahap evaluasi untuk memastikan para peserta dapat memiliki panduan dalam memulai atau mengembangkan usahanya. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sebagian besar peserta (75%) memiliki motivasi yang tinggi untuk memulai dan mengembangkan usaha yang diukur dengan skala motivasi berwirausaha. Selain itu, semua peserta memandang bahwa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat karena menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam berwirausaha. Dengan demikian, diharapkan para perempuan mampu berdaya secara ekonomi baik di masa pandemi maupun pasca pandemi. Kata kunci: era digital; kewirausahaan; pandemi; perempuan; pemberdayaan ABSTRACTThis community service aims to provide productive women with skills and knowledge regarding entrepreneurship and take advantage of business opportunities in the digital era and during the pandemic so that women can be economically empowered. This community service program involved 132 participants from all over Indonesia. The implementation of this community service program is carried out virtually or through webinars. The results of this activity indicate that after gaining knowledge and skills most of the participants have high motivation to start and develop businesses. In addition, all participants saw that this activity was very useful because it added knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship. Abstract Purpose: The Community Service Program (PKM) is located in Kerinjing Village, Tanjung Raja District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The targeted target audiences are housewives in the village. This activity aims to: (1) socialize the potential benefits of family medicinal plants (TOGA) as healthy drinks that can increase income, (2) socialize the correct way of planting family medicinal plants so that the quality is better, arousing the motivation of the target community to develop family medicinal plat processing. Method: The methods applied in this training include counseling on several theories that support the potential and composition of family medicinal plants, how to plant and process medicinal plants into various beverage processed products, suitable packaging methods, practice, and assistance. Community service activities are carried out through lectures and demonstrations. Results: The output produced from this activity include: (1) increased knowledge and skills of housewives regarding the use and processing of family medicinal plants, (2) increased knowledge of how to plant and pack good products, and (3) increased motivation for developing a business to use family medicinal plants. Conclusions: After the activity, there is an increase in knowledge and skills to develop a business to use family medicinal plants, their potential, and how to process them into healthy drink products, as well as proper packaging methods. In addition, this activity also increases the motivation of housewives who are participants to develop businesses in the field of beverage products based on family medicinal plants.

The community service program carried out by the Mechanical Engineering Department, Padang State Polytechnic lecturer is an activity in order to fulfill the Tridarma of Higher Education for the 2018 budget year. The activity was held in the form of SMAW 2F welding improvement training for the youth of Koto Luar, Pauh sub-district, Padang. In this area, there are many high school graduates who have not dared to enter the real workforce because they feel they do not have sufficient skills to join the field workforce. On the other hand, the Koto Luar village is currently developing very fast, because there has been assimilation between migrants and indigenous people. Along with increasing population, of course also followed by the addition of living facilities. To synergize the increase in progress with its human resource capabilities, various knowledge and skills are needed, one of which is the electric welding skills knowledge of SMAW 2F. Its welding training was attended by 21 Koto Luar youths for 4 days at the Mechanical Engineering department workshop. Expected abilities after training, Koto Luar youths are able to properly weld 2F methods according to welding standards, so that later participants are expected to enter the world of welding work. After debriefing the participants can take part in the welding training well, so that they get the SMAW 2F welding certificate signed by the director of the Padang State Polytechnic. The welding enhancement training activity of SMAW 2F received positive support from the chairman of the Community Empowerment Agency (BPM) and village leaders, because this activity had long been wanted by the community. The Koto Luar community hopes that the training to improve SMAW 2F's welding ability for youth in Pauh Padang sub-district can be carried out continuously, because many young people are interested in SMAW's welding knowledge, the goal is to be able to open entrepreneurs and fill jobs around Lambung Bukit, Koto Luar , and Limau Manis Padang.
