Abstract Background Little research has examined how media outreach strategies affect the outcomes of contraceptive initiatives. Thus, this paper assesses the potential impact of an online media campaign introduced during the last six months of a contraceptive initiative study based in Salt Lake City, UT (USA). Methods During the last six months of the HER Salt Lake Contraceptive Initiative (September 2016-March 2017), we introduced an online media campaign designed to connect potential clients to information about the initiative and a brief (9-item) appointment request form (via HERsaltlake.org). Using linked data from the online form and electronic medical records, we examine differences in demographics, appointment show rates, and contraceptive choices between “online requester” clients who made clinical appointments through the online form (n = 356) and “standard requester” clients who made appointments using standard scheduling (n = 3,051). We used summary statistics and multivariable regression to compare groups. Results The campaign logged 1.7 million impressions and 15,765 clicks on advertisements leading to the campaign website (HERSaltLake.org). Compared to standard requesters, online requesters less frequently reported a past pregnancy and were more likely to be younger, white, and to enroll in the survey arm of the study. Relative to standard requesters and holding covariates constant, online requesters were more likely to select copper IUDs (RRR: 8.14), hormonal IUDs (RRR: 12.36), and implants (RRR: 10.75) over combined hormonal contraceptives (the contraceptive pill, patch, and ring). Uptake of the contraceptive injectable, condoms, and emergency contraception did not differ between groups. Conclusion Clients demonstrating engagement with the media campaign had different demographic characteristics and outcomes than those using standard scheduling to arrange care. Online media campaigns can be useful for connecting clients with advertised contraceptive methods and initiatives. However, depending on design strategy, the use of media campaigns might shift the demographics and characteristics of clients who participate in contraceptive initiatives. Trial Registration Clinicaltrials.gov identifier NCT02734199, Registered 12 April 2016—Retrospectively registered, https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02734199.

Covid-19 are one of the viruses that were widely spreaded in 2019 and are still separate until nowadays. Thailand is one of the countries that are highly infected. The majority of people who are infected with this virus tend to have mild to severe respiratory symptoms. Furthermore, anyone can get sick, and it can lead to death. However, the most common symptoms of this virus are fever, cough, tiredness, and loss of taste or smell, on the other hand, characteristics in a minority of people, such as diarrhea and headaches. Due to the impact of the Covid-19 virus, people have to change their lifestyle to the online form. These changes have impacted mostly on economics and education in particular countries, so this problem also affects anxiety among high school students; who must prepare to apply to the university during the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition, we have collected 151 answers from high school students by surveying in order to know the feelings for entrance to the university during the pandemic situation. We found out that 81.3% of the students are highly affected by covid, and only 0.7% of students are slightly affected. We also found out that 55% of the students are worried about university entrance, and only 2.6% of the students were not worried at all. According to the result, most of the students in Thailand are facing the problem about their education and their entrance for the university which are caused by Covid-19. This may lead to illnesses like depression and anxiety. Keywords: Students, Learning, COVID-19, Thailand, University.

ABSTRACT This research aims to determine lecturers’ views on online mathematics education and to get suggestions for its improvement. The participants of the study consist of 15 people who work as instructors in a private university. In the study, the quantitative-qualitative mixed pattern model was used. The data were collected from the participants with the help of an online form containing questions about sex, age, pedagogy status, computer usage levels and ten questions related to research. Participants expressed many positive and negative opinions on the online mathematics education process. Responses were analyzed as the opinions of the lecturers with/without pedagogical formation. According to the data obtained, faculty members with pedagogical formation argue that online mathematics education is appropriate in all aspects; however, those without a pedagogical formation are often against online mathematics education. Recommendations developed as a result of the findings are presented at the end of the study.

In 2020, the global community experienced a culture shock. In March, in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, a quarantine regime was introduced in many countries. Cultural institutions were closed for visiting, many cultural events were canceled. The only possible cultural event was the online form. The form of the online festival was also popular and effective. To implement and receive the planned results of the online festival, it is proposed to use the author’s technology for creating and holding an online festival. The described technology includes a sequence of logically justified technological steps necessary for its implementation. The technology is described on the material of the online puzzle festival of artistic creativity, dedicated to the Year of Memory and Glory «1418 (We cherish memory)». The festival ran from March to April 2020. The timing of it coincided with the beginning of the self-isolation regime.

ABSTRACT Purpose: to know the profile of members of the Brazilian Association of Orofacial Motricity and their knowledge and interest on laser therapy in Orofacial Motricity. Methods: an online form was elaborated covering questions about the speech therapist’s profile, training, and acting, as well as his/her knowledge about the theories of laser therapy and its clinical application. The form was sent via e-mail to members of the Brazilian Association of Orofacial Motricity - ABRAMO, registered in the year 2015. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and the Spearman’s correlation test. Results: only 5 (19.2%) out of the 26 participants reported having contact with laser equipment, and of these, only 1 (3.8%) used it in his/her practice. Regarding knowledge of the method, only 2 (7.7%) were trained, and the majority, 14 speech therapists (53.8%), had an interest in acquiring knowledge on this subject. Speech therapists with a longer training period were unaware of laser therapy (p = 0.03) and did not agree on the use (p = 0.01), but claimed to be interested in the subject (p = 0.05). Conclusion: it was possible to verify that the interest in improvement and insertion in the clinical practice in laser therapy are realities for the research volunteers, but a very small number has the knowledge and makes use of the technique in their interventions.

Subject The changing nature of cybercrime -- and law enforcement response. Significance The low barriers to entry and the difficulties associated with tracking cybercriminals mean that such illicit activity will continue to rise. For many organisations, cybercrime will represent their primary cyberthreat -- above those including cyberespionage and hacktivism (an online form of activism). Adapting to the cybercrime threat is, therefore, crucial. With cybercriminals often adopting innovative tactics, the law enforcement challenge is also constantly evolving, highlighting the necessity of a dynamic response. Impacts Poorer states may emulate North Korean attempts at cybertheft to generate revenue. Malware developers will be increasingly tempted to sell their services to government agencies. The spread of criminal-related malware is global and unpredictable, making almost all regions and industries potential cybercrime targets.
