Abstract Despite the development of increasingly modern era, traditional ceremonies which are a noble culture still play an important role in the society live. One of them is Nyadran culture, it has meaning for society since it contains Islamic moral values. This culture is an acculturation of Javanese-Hindu culture with Islam. Islamic education plays an important role in human life. We as Muslims should apply the Islamic values in our daily lives as a guide to reach happiness living in the world and the hereafter. Many teenagers in high school age are reluctant to carry out congregational prayers in mosques, they prefer hanging out and riding out their motorbikes, parents' advice is no longer ignored. This is a moral decline in society that appears today. This research is a qualitative-descriptive. The techniques of data collection were interviews, documentation and observation. Data analysis techniques were data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. Meanwhile, to test the validity of the data, we used data triangulation and member checking techniques. The results of this study showed that the Nyadran culture is a process of sending prayers to ancestors who have passed away. This culture has been conducted by the society from generation to generation from their ancestors. The ceremony is held in Rajab, Thursday wage night Friday Kliwon. The first process that society do in this tradition is cleaning the grave, then praying together on Wednesday evening which starts at 24.00, followed by slaughtering goats on Thursday morning, after that the core of Nyadran process is praying together, recitation and distribution of food and meat goat Keywords: The Islamic Values of Sadranan Culture Abstrak Meskipun perkembangan zaman semakin modern, upacara tradisional yang merupakan budaya luhur masih memegang peranan penting bagi sebagian masyarakat dalam kehidupannya. Upacara tradisional yang memiliki makna serta nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam didalamnya salah satunya adalah budaya Nyadran. Budaya nyadran merupakan akulturasi budaya Jawa-Hindu dengan Islam. Pendidikan Islam sangat berperan penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Nilai-nilai ajaran Islam seharusnya kita terapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai pedoman untuk menuju kebahagiaan dunia dan akherat. Semakin merebaknya sistem perjudian di wilayah Ngijo, anak seusia SMP sampai SMA enggan untuk melaksanakan melaksanakan sholat berjamaah di masjid, mereka lebih suka untuk nongkrong dan motor-motoran, nasehat orang tua sudah tidak dihiraukan lagi. Inilah salah satu bentuk kemerosotan akhlak di masyarakat yang muncul saat ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif-deskritif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Untuk menguji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa budaya nyadran adalah suatu proses mengirimkan doa kepada para leluhur yang sudah meninggal dunia yang sudah berlangsung secara turun temurun dari nenek moyang. Waktu pelaksanaannya pada bulan Rajab, hari kamis wage malam Jum’at kliwon. Proses tradisi nyadran yang diawali dengan besik kubur atau membersihkan pemakaman, kemudian berdoa bersama pada hari rabu malam yang dimulai pukul 24. 00, dilanjutkan dengan pemotongan kambing pada hari kamis pagi, setelah itu inti dari nyadran yaitu doa bersama, pengajian dan pembagian makanan dan daging kambing. Pasraman, ashram, padukuhan or gurukula are traditional education systems in Hinduism that have been rooted since ancient times. Hindu that realizes that education is an important aspect in human life. In Bali, the history of Pasraman has been known since ancient times. In folk tales there are scattered touches of education and the existence of padukuhan or pasraman creating a place for Bali to receive education in ancient times. This article describes Pasraman as an effort to improve the quality of education based on spiritual and culture. The research was conducted at pasraman in Bali with qualitative descriptive and data analysis using Ethnographic Content Analysis (ECA). The results showed that Pasraman still find the spirit and its relevance in today's modern era. Because the character order becomes an important foundation to support efforts to improve the quality of national education. It will also directly linked to efforts to improve human resources Excelling as proclaimed by the provincial government of Bali.

Lately, the emergence of various problems in human life, especially in education. One of the issues or issues that are quite viral in this modern era is the fragility or in other words the shifting of Islamic values about tolerance towards all tribes and cultures. Therefore, the presence of this study aims to examine how the concept of Islamic education in overcoming various human problems or in the term "humanizing humanity" in the sense of Islamic education as a potential transaction process in culture related to specific Islamic values in dealing with ethnic, cultural differences, and various problems of human life, especially in education. By using a philosophical approach which is one branch of philosophy that discusses the nature of human knowledge. His philosophy is similar to Islamic education taught by the Prophet long before his preaching that did not look at ethnicity, religion, culture, and nation.

Abstract Conflict becomes part of contemporary phenomena that embraces all dimensions of human life, starting from the level of individuals, society, to relations between countries. Conflict in all of its variety, both economic, political conflicts, even conflicts between civilizations, cannot be separated from the "on-name" religion. Islam which teaches love and peace is distorted into Islam that teaches conflict. Islamic education in a broad context is responsible for the formation of logical thinking of humans who like to spread terror and conflict. This paper examines how the Sufism approach in Islamic education plays its part as the Islamic tradition that teaches Islam in the form of love and spreads Peaceful Islam and has A peace of mind with research Library research that uses qualitative descriptive analysis techniques with the results of research that is mystical approach in Islamic education fundamental alternatives in order to reduce conflict and bring peace.       Keywords: Education, Islam, Peace, and Sufism.   Abstrak Konfik menjadi bagian dari fenomena kontemporer yang melanda seluruh dimensi kehidupan manusia, mulai dari tingkat individu, masyarakat, sampai hubungan antar negara. Konflik dalam ragam rupanya, baik konflik ekonomi, politik, bahkan konflik antar peradaban, tidak bisa dilepaskan dari “atas-nama” agama. Islam yang mengajarkan cinta kasih dan perdamaian didistorsi menjadi Islam yang mengajarkan konflik. Pendidikan Islam dalam konteks yang luas bertanggungjawab atas terbentuknya nalar berpikir manusia yang suka menebar teror dan konflik. Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana pendekatan sufisme dalam pendidikan islam menjadi bagian dari tradisi Islam yang mengajarkan Islam dalam rupa cinta kasih dan menebarkan Islam Damai dan berwawasan perdamaian dengan jenis penelitian Library research yang menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan hasil penelitian yaitu pendekatan sufistik dalam pendidikan Islam adalah alternatif fundamental dalam rangka mengurangi konflik dan mewujudkan perdamaian bangsa. Salah satu teladan prakteknya dapat dilihat dari ulama-ulama Nusantara. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Islam, Perdamaian, and Sufisme.

The purpose of this study is to increase student activity and learning outcomes through the application of problem based learning learning models. This type of research is PTK. Subjects of grade IV students. Data collection techniques using tests, observation data, activeness assessment rubrics. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of the activeness of learning activities in pre-cycle (64.87%) 24 students inactive in the first cycle increased to (24.32%) 9 students were quite active and in the second cycle increased to (83.78%) 31 students were active. Whereas for pre-cycle learning outcomes showed completeness of (41%) 15 students completed then increased in cycle 1 to (54%) 20 students completed and (81%) 30 students completed in cycle II. Thus the application of problem based learning learning models can improve the activeness and learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Panjang 03.

This paper discusses the management of Islamic Cultur through habituating Dhuha Prayers in Improving Student Discipline. Islamic Cultur is a practice of habituating Islamic values, one of which is the implementation of habituation in congregation. This culture is implemented and familiarized in order to improve student discipline. Prayer is a compulsory worship that must be performed by every Muslim. Prayer services will be able to keep the culprit from the heinous and unjust practices. Prayer is one of the worship services that has disciplinary implications for the culprit. This research belongs to the type of qualitative-descriptive research that is expected to be able to uncover various information with a careful and meaningful description-analysis. Sources of data in this study include the principal, student staff and staff and teachers of Islam. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. As for the data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and data analysis. The results of this research are (1) Management of Islamic Cultur held through habituation of Dhuha Berma’ah (2) Habituation of Dhuha prayer in congregation can improve student discipline.

<p>Islam provides the guidance of human life from the smallest problem to the greatest affairs, ranging from household affairs, sleep, eat and drink up to the affairs of the nation and state. This paper raises how Islam covers all aspects of life as a religion of humanity. If taken seriously in the verses of the Qur'an or as Sunnah, will undoubtedly be found, that the core of the teachings of Islam is faith and righteousness. Islam is more than a formal religion, but it is also a great treatise for social transformation and a challenge to personal interests. Islam is a humanism, a religion that is very concerned with humanity as a central goal. This is the basis of Islam. Therefore, the greatest task of Islam is actually to transform social and cultural transformation with Islamic values.</p><p> </p><p>Islam memberikan tuntunan hidup manusia dari persoalan yang paling kecil hingga ke urusan yang paling besar, mulai dari urusan rumah tangga, tidur, makan dan minum sampai pada urusan bangsa dan negara. Tulisan ini mengangkat bagaimana Islam mencakup segala aspek kehidupan sebagai agama kemanusiaan. Jika dicermati secara serius dalam ayat-ayat al Quran maupun as sunnah, niscaya akan ditemukan, bahwa inti ajaran Islam adalah iman dan amal saleh. Islam lebih dari sekedar sebuah agama formal, tetapi juga risalah yang agung bagi transformasi sosial dan tantangan bagi kepentingan-kepentingan pribadi. Islam adalah sebuah humanisme, yaitu agama yang sangat mementingkan manusia sebagai tujuan sentral. Inilah dasar Islam. Oleh karena itu, tugas terbesar Islam sesungguhnya adalah melakukan transformasi sosial dan budaya dengan nilai-nilai Islam.</p><p> </p>

In this modern era, as culture evolves into a popular culture mixed with western culture, there is still a community that wants to maintain the tradition of local cultural heritage, in the field of literacy. This is also reflected in a study that will raise researchers this time. The community is called “Tanah Aksara”. Researchers raised research on the Meaning of Local Culture Symbol for “Tanah Aksara” Community in Bandung. “Tanah Aksara” has its own characteristic in Bandung, which upholds the cultural heritage of the local script. They have peculiarities that characterize their identity through the attributes of clothing or other symbols that characterize the main individual in the “Tanah Aksara” community. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are observation persistence, data triangulation, and referential adequacy. Researchers use communication theory to analyze this research is the theory of symbolic interaction. The results of research that has been done by the researcher shows that the meaning of local culture for the Tanah Aksara community include: (1) Symbol as the formation of identity for the Tanah Aksara community; (2) Symbols as preservation of local traditions and cultures for Tanah Aksara communities; (3) Symbols as preservation of the script of the archipelago; (4) Symbols as symbols of ancestral heritage/ ancestors; (5) Symbols as an encouragement of social activities.

Khittah Nahdlatul Ulama, dijelaskan bahwa jika seseorang mampumenerapkan karakter at-Tawasuth dalam kehidupan nyata sehari-hari,maka akan terwujud beberapa sikap yang mulia. Karakter ini dapatditerapkan diberbagai bidang dalam kehidupan manusia. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mengetahui; 1). Bagaimana konsep AttawasuthAhlussunnah Wal Jama'ah yang tertera dalam Khittah Nahdlatul Ulama; 2). Bagiamana Implementasi Konsep Attawasuth Ahlussunnah Wal Jama’ahdalam membangun karakter anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan MetodeRiset Perpustakaan (Library research) dengan teknik Analisis DeskriptifKualitatif. Data penelitian yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis denganmenggunakan pendekatan deduktif dan pendekatan induktif. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa Khittah NU merupakan landasan resmi dankuat bagi warga Nahdlatul Ulama dalam bertindak, bersikap dan mengambil keputusan. Dalam tubuh NU terdapat karakteristik khas warga Nahdlatul Ulama yang menbedakannya dengan warga lain. Dalam mengaktualisasikan karakter At-Tawasut aswaja dalam membangunkarakter anak dapat diterapkan melalui beberapa amaliyah-amaliyah NUyang didalamnya mengandung nilai-nilai keagamaan, moral yang mulia.Amaliyah tersebut diantaranya adalah Khotmil Qu’an, Pengajaran, ZiarahKubur dan pengenalan budaya lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian inidiharapkan akan menjadi bahan informasi dan masukan bagi paramahasiswa, para tenaga pengajar, para peneliti dan dapat dijadikan rujukan untuk melakukan penelitian selanjutnya. The Khittah of Nahdlatul Ulama is explained that if one is able to apply thecharacter of at-Tawasuth in real life everyday, it will manifest some nobleattitudes. This character can be applied in various fields of human life. This study aims to determine ; 1) How the concept of Attawasuth AhlussunnahWal Jama'ah which is listed in Khittah of Nahdlatul Ulama; 2) How toImplement the Concept of Attawasuth Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah indeveloping children’s character. This study uses the Library researchmethode with Qualitative Descriptive Analysis techniques. The researchdata which is collected then analyzed by using deductive approach andinductive approach. The results of research show that the Khittah of NU isthe canonic and fundamental for Nahdlatul Ulama's citizens in acting andmaking decisions. The citizens oh NU have typical characteristics ofNahdlatul Ulama who distingish with other citizens. In actualizing thecharacter of At-Tawasut of aswaja to build the children’s character can beapplied through some behavior in which contain religious values, honorablemoral. Those are reciting holy Qu'an, Teaching, visiting the tomb to prayhuman who has passed away and introduction to other cultural. Based onthe results of this study are expected to become information material andsuggest for the students, the teachers, researchers and can be used as areference to conduct further research.

This article aims to look at how to improve self-efficacy through guidance and counseling services at SMP 1 Pleret, Yogyakarta. This type of research is qualitative descriptive, data collection methods through interviews and observations. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Results and discussion that there are still many students who have low self-efficacy so they are difficult to achieve good learning outcomes. This is proven by some students rarely doing school work and rarely doing homework also do not have the motivation to excel. BK teachers try through guidance and counseling services in the form of a preventive approach for those with high self-efficacy and a curative approach for students with low self-efficacy. Such as helping students to convince themselves that students are able to do tasks even though it is difficult and able to excel and to convince students to avoid feeling inferior about themselves. Guidance and counseling provided by BK teachers shows significant changes in some students who already have high self-efficacy. So it can be concluded that through guidance and counseling can be an effort to improve student self-efficacy.

Cohesion and coherence in discourse play a role in forming a wholeness in the discourse itself, both discourse and writing. One of the written discourses is the news in the Jawa Pos newspaper, which is the distribution of basic food packages breaking the fast of Ramadhan for the poor in the Tuban area held by PT. PJB UBJOM PLTU Tanjung Awar-awar, in this news is thought to contain elements of cohesion and coherence. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and discourse analysis techniques. The data obtained contains cohesion and coherence. In this data collection, namely by listening to the news and recording it. The results of this study include grammatical cohesion, lexical cohesion and its coherence. Grammatical cohesion includes reference cohesion, recovery cohesion, release cohesion and liaison cohesion. In addition to cohesion there is also coherence that is like the coherence of the means of purpose, the coherence of reasons for action, the coherence of the meaning of reason and so forth. With the discovery of the use of cohesion and discourse coherence in Jawa Pos news.
