The purpose of the article is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the grain market of Ukraine and justify priority measures for its further stabilization, increase competitiveness and increase efficiency. Research methods. In the process of research a number of methods were used: abstract-logical - to formulate conclusions; comparative analysis - to compare indicators and identify trends in their change; tabular - for a visual representation of the results of the study; statistical - in determining the variation in the volume of grain production; calculation and design - to develop balances of cereals and justify their forecast indicators; monographic - detailing the current state and problems of the grain market of Ukraine; graphic - to illustrate market trends in the studied grain market. Research results. The tendency of significant growth of production and export of grain crops in Ukraine is revealed. It is investigated that there is a steady increase in supply in the grain market, which is formed mainly due to production volumes. The result of a comprehensive analysis of export flows in the grain market of Ukraine is a developed forecast of grain exports. The forecast balance of grain and leguminous crops by main types has been developed. The price situation on the domestic grain market in terms of major crops is analyzed and the world grain market situation is studied. Priority measures have been systematized that will contribute to the further development of the domestic grain market and the strengthening of Ukraine's leading position in the world grain market. Scientific novelty. Methodological and practical aspects of studying the problems of the grain market and developing directions for sustainable development of the grain complex of Ukraine have been further developed. Practical significance. These approaches and research results can be used by public and sectoral authorities in the organization of monitoring and development of priority measures to increase the competitiveness of domestic grain potential in world markets. The purpose of the article is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the efficiency of grain production in Ukraine, to identify priority factors of influence and to justify directions for its further improvement. Research methods. In the process of research a number of methods were used: abstract-logical - to formulate conclusions; comparative analysis - to compare the efficiency of grain production and identify trends in their change; tabular - for a visual representation of the results of the study; statistical - in determining the variation of production volumes and efficiency indicators of grain crops; calculation-constructive - for calculation of indicators of efficiency of production of grain crops and substantiation of their normative indicators; monographic - when detailing the current level of efficiency of the grain economy of Ukraine; factor analysis - to determine the factors influencing the profitability of grain production. Research results. Research has established a trend of stability of grain production in Ukraine. The progressive dynamics of growth of size and transformation of structure of expenses for production of grain crops is established, imbalances between growth of expenses and results of managing of commodity producers of grain crops in the context of regions of Ukraine are revealed. A comprehensive analysis of indicators of absolute and relative efficiency of grain production. The factor analysis of change of indicators of profitability of production of grain crops in Ukraine is carried out. The levels of normative prime cost and equivalent price of 1 ton of winter wheat and corn for grain are calculated. The main directions of increasing the efficiency of grain production are proposed. Scientific novelty. Methodological and practical aspects of studying the efficiency of grain production and substantiation of the directions of its increase have been further developed. Practical significance. These approaches and research results can be used by public and sectoral authorities in the organization of monitoring and development of priority measures to improve the efficiency of the domestic grain industry. The purpose of the article is to assess the main trends in the functioning of the world market for sheep products to determine the strategic guidelines for the industry in Ukraine. Research methods. In the process of research, the dialectical method of cognition, a systematic approach to the study of economic phenomena and processes were used; abstract-logical method - for generalizations and formulation of conclusions; monographic - for detailing the conjunctural components of the world market for sheep products; empirical - for a comprehensive assessment of the current state of the research object; historical - for structuring in time the main trends in the development of the market under study; comparative analysis - to compare indicators and identify the dynamics of their changes over time; tabular - to reflect the results of research, graphic - to visually display the results of the price ranks of the main products of sheep breeding; statistical groupings - for the distribution of countries into groups according to different factors. Research results. The retrospective and the current state of the market of sheep products in the world have been investigated. The analysis of production volumes and livestock of sheep in the world in the context of the largest producers is carried out. It was revealed the strengthening of specialization in the meat and dairy direction in the world sheep breeding. The countries of the world have been ranked according to the level of purchase prices for 1 ton of sheep meat, 1 ton of wool and 1 ton of sheep milk. The dynamics of exports and imports of live sheep, sheep meat, wool and sheep cheese in the context of the main exporters and importers for the period 2012-2018 is considered. It has been established that, taking into account the global trends in the development of the sheep products market, in Ukraine it is advisable to increase the production of sheep meat in large-scale farms, which will satisfy the existing demand for these products in the world. Also, one of the promising areas for the development of the industry can be the production of elite sheep cheeses, starting with small craft production of regional brands. Scientific novelty. The analytical assessment of the world market situation for the main types of sheep products from the standpoint of Ukraine's integration into the international market for these products was further developed. Practical significance. The research results can be used by public administration bodies in determining the national policy of sheep industry development, the formation of a strategy for its development, taking into account export opportunities in the short and long term. The article deals with the artistic echoes of the ideas of the German romantic author E.T.A. Goffman in the novel “The Collector” by the English postmodernist J. Fowles. The aim of the study is to prove that Hoffmann’s concept of dividing people into inhabitants and artists, burghers and creative persons, ordinary and elected ones, i.e., philistines and enthusiasts, found its artistic echo in the images and situations of the novel “The Collector” by J. Fowles; as well as to generalize and adapt scientific and theoretical material on this problem to the students of philology while their preparation for practical and seminar classes. The research methodology is to extrapolate Hoffman’s concept of enthusiasts and philistines to the text of the “Collector”, as well as to determine the confrontation between these two types of people as one of the leading themes of Fowles’ novel. Research results. It is emphasized that Hoffman has divided all his characters into two unequal groups: enthusiasts and philistines. It is established that in Hoffmann’s stories the world of enthusiasts symbolizes full of life existence with all the richness of ideas, emotions, contradictory and complex feelings typical for a search person; the world of philistines, instead, personifies a dim imitation of a real life, i.e. a “mechanized” existence, in which there is no creative impulses, creative initiative. In his works Hoffman warns mankind of the danger of such existence emphasizing the need to protect the world of enthusiasts. It is proved that Hoffman’s thoughts were prophesied. Less than 150 years later, their echo has found its artistic reflection in the works of modern English writer John Fowles, in particular in the novel “The Collector”. In the images of the protagonists Miranda and Frederick Clegg, John Fowles depicted two opposite worlds, which are considered a symbolic continuation of the confrontation of Hoffmann’s enthusiasts and philistines. Miranda represents a modern type of enthusiast, a search person who is choked with emotions and feelings, intuitively realizing that this is the meaning of her life. Clegg generalizes a modern type of a philistine – an ambitious, limited tyrant, full of hidden malice and hatred for those who are spiritually richer and smarter. Hoffman’s warnings have also come to the fore in the fact that philistines can make enthusiasts their victims, as it is illustrated in the novel on the example of the tragic fate of Miranda. Scientific novelty. Reminiscences of Hoffmann’s ideas about the confrontation between enthusiasts and philistines, generalized in the images and types of “The Collector” by J. Fowles, reminding of the eternal antagonism between love and hatred, good and evil, creative living principles and a mundane existence, constitute the scientific novelty of this article. Practical significance. The results of the study can be used for further research of J. Fowles’ literary heritage. The article will be also useful for the students of philology while their preparation for seminars and practical classes.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the current state of the meat market in Ukraine, to identify trends in its development. Research methods. The following methods have been used generally accepted methods and techniques: a set of scientific methods of abstract and logical method (induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, analogy and comparison, formalization) for develop theoretical positions and analyze the situation in the meat market; statistical when assessing the meat market; tabular for visual representation of the research results; graphic for identify and illustrate trends of the research economic phenomena. Research results. The meat market is an important component of the food market of the country, on the stability of which the living standards of the population and the food security of the country largely depend, has been generalized. Meat and meat products are among the most important foods. It has been found that the meat market operates in rather difficult economic conditions. Meat producers increase production volumes with the decline of certain branches of animal husbandry In the livestock industry of Ukraine there are transformational processes that cause changes in the meat market structure. The meat market structure is considered and the peculiarities of its functioning are revealed. Poultry meat has been found to have a monopoly on the meat market. The increase in poultry meat production is primarily due to the growing demand from the population and the food industry. The basis of the "meat diet" is poultry meat, as the most available type of meat has been determined. Scientific novelty. Production of poultry meat in Ukraine is the most profitable has been specified. The rapid return on investment in poultry production has led to increased investment in the industry, the construction of modern large poultry farms and the creation of powerful vertically integrated companies. Pork production has stabilized somewhat. However, African swine fever causes significant damage. Raising cattle remains a non-profit business. The trend of cattle slaughter continues in Ukraine,. At the same time, the main producers of cattle meat are households. Analytical assessments and determinations of factors influencing meat production and further development of the meat market have been further developed. Practical significance. Analytical materials of the article have been based on relevant official statistics, which can be can be used for addressing development of the meat market. The Impact

Food production and agriculture play a key role in providing the world’s population with food. A special place in the world food market is given to the grain complex, which occupies an important position in the system of world agri-food markets and is a strategic branch of the national economy of each individual country. This article assesses the current state and conjuncture of the world grain market based on the analysis of statistical data on the production, consumption, trade and prices of cereals, as well as on the basis of studying reviews and reports of leading analytical agencies, in particular FAO reports. In view of the relevance of recent events related to the experienced global economic shock, an assessment of the impact of the global pandemic on the world grain market is given. The forecasts of further growth of the world grain market and the subsequent position of its leading participants are presented. It is concluded that the markets for major cereals are well secured, the outlook for global production and consumption is generally positive, and that cereal trade is expected to grow, but at a slower pace. Large exporters and importers of cereals will maintain their leading positions with some possible changes in their participation shares. The main trends in the development of the world market for cereals are listed and disclosed, associated mainly with population growth, increased yields, changes in consumption patterns, expansion of the livestock sector, technological progress, the functioning of global value chains and the actions of large participants in relation to state and tariff regulation of the grain complex.

The paper presents an assessment of the current state of grain production in the region, determines the main sectoral strategy of increasing the economic efficiency of grain production. The comprehensive analysis of the development of the industry made it possible to compile a correlation and regression model of the grain yield and leguminous crops, which allowed determining the most significant factors – the expenses of fertilizers, plant protection agents and the maintenance of fixed assets. A methodological approach to the grouping of regions according to the level and efficiency of grain production is proposed, which allows identifying the main zones of concentration and specialization of grain production. The formation of the regional grain cluster, uniting all participants in the production, processing and sale of grain and grain products, stimulating an increase in the volume of grain production in agricultural organizations of the region by 2024 up to 13614.3 thousand centners, the profitability of the industry – up to 31.04 % is substantiated.

The grain market is a sphere of grain circulation, strategic interests for multinational corporations, which includes its processing. The growth in demand for wheat is due to the growing population in the world and other factors that affect the country’s food security. Communication interaction between producer and consumer creates an organizational system in the form of various forms of markets: markets, fairs, auctions, exchanges and more. The trend of increasing the cost of grain is observed around the world because production volumes are insufficient to meet all the needs of the population. The grain market is the main lever in the Ukrainian market. The strategy for the development of grain crops affects the reproduction of the country’s economy as a whole and changes in macro and microeconomic indicators. The climatic conditions of the regions are important factors for the prosperity of the grain market and ensuring yields. A favorable political climate is impossible without the export of domestic products, namely grain. Many countries cannot produce enough grain and import it. A significant share of grain production is concentrated in developed countries, so ensuring it is an important issue around the world, the solution of which is to finance the import of grain crops, including wheat. Ukraine has a huge land potential (chernozems), as well as the prospects and opportunities to expand areas for sowing, thus increasing grain production and strengthening its position in the world market. Grain is an important type of product and has its own versatility, a number of countries around the world annually purchase significant volumes of sourdough products. Ukraine fully meets its domestic needs and is one of the exporters of grain to the EU and the world. Increasing grain yields will help increase production. Due to its uniqueness and long storage time, grain remains a necessary component of the population’s life. Not every country is able to increase production, for this it is necessary to apply strategic measures, in particular in agricultural policy. This is intervention in the grain market, agricultural subsidies and others. Grain resources consist of stocks of previous periods, production and imports. In Ukraine, grain production is increasing. Demand for quality products exists in both domestic and foreign markets. High commodity grades of wheat can be produced under favorable natural conditions, so additional investment in growing quality products is a significant economic lever that ensures the economic growth of the country. Methodology. The purpose of the article is to analyze the grain market and study the role of the state in building a strategy for the development of grain exports. Empirical research methods were used in the study. A comparison of the main indicators of the world grain market and Ukraine’s place in it was made. Due to the use of theoretical research methods, in particular analysis and synthesis, the main features of the grain market were identified and characterized. The main factors influencing the development of the world grain market were identified. High quality of grain production and processing increases the country’s competitiveness on the world market. Results. According to the results of the study, it can be concluded that over the past year, despite the trends of coronavirus in the country, Ukraine has strengthened its position and taken a leading position in the production and export of cereals. Factors that affect grain yields in the world also affect yields in Ukraine. Practical implications. During the strategic analysis in our case, we found that the world grain market is affected by many factors: reducing the area for planting in developing countries, increasing grain use, wheat is beginning to occupy a leading position as a food crop, increasing cereal consumption by traditional rice producers, especially in China. The volume of export resources and competitive products is an important advantage of Ukrainian products on the world market. Practical studies have shown that the volume of production and export of Ukrainian grain to international markets also depends on the world grain market. Value/originality. These studies make it possible to determine the country’s place in grain exports to international markets and factors influencing the development of international trade.

Purpose. A study of the current state of the fight against cyber terrorism and cyber extremism in the context of the development of new technologies, when modern achievements of scientific and technological progress are actively used in the area under consideration in order to develop new approaches to solving the question posed. Methodology: the article is based on a reasonable combination of the general scientific dialectical method with legal positivism. Social connections and phenomena, and their interaction with scientific categories are considered in dialectical unity. Consideration of a separate document is based on comparative legal positivism. The work uses scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction. Conclusions. 1. Today there is no comprehensive approach to organizing the fight against cyber terrorism and cyber extremism. 2. At present, terrorism and extremism are actively using in their activities modern capabilities of electronic and information-telecommunication systems and technologies. 3. The current global geopolitical situation in the world does not allow the creation of an effective international system for combating and countering terrorism and extremism, especially in the use of modern electronic and telecommunication technologies. Scientific and practical significance. The article presents some of the author’s positions on how, in the absence of effective legal means of organizing the interaction of law enforcement structures of states, it is possible to consolidate one’s efforts to minimize the spread of cybercrime in the world and, in particular, such most dangerous manifestations of it as cyber terrorism and cyber extremism.

Relevance of the research topic. This article reveals the features of the development of the e-commerce market in the world economy and in Ukraine. The analysis of the state of the e-commerce market is carried out: the main players of the e-commerce market are highlighted, sales volumes are analyzed. It was determined that e-commerce is a relatively new type of economic activity, which is rather actively developing in Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the structure of e-commerce. The problems and directions of development of electronic commerce in Ukraine are also indicated. Formulation of the problem. The problem of e-commerce market development in the world economy and in Ukraine is its structure and new directions of e-commerce development. Analysis of recent studies and publications, which began to solve this problem. The current state of functioning of the e-commerce market in Ukraine in recent years has been studied in the scientific works of N. Apatov, L. Glinenko, Yu. Dainovskiy, A. Maslov, S. Malovichko, A. Chubukov, R. Tsarev and others. In the works of domestic scientists, the analysis of market trends in the electronic market is not considered deeply enough. This problem requires research and affects the development of relations in the Ukrainian e-commerce market. The allocation of previously unresolved parts of the general problem, which the article is devoted to, should be attributed as a result containing an element of scientific novelty, it is possible to position a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the e-commerce market in Ukraine and the world, its structure, features, main problems and development directions. Statement of the problem, the purpose of the study is to study the main characteristics of the modern world and Ukrainian e-commerce market, therefore, the purpose of this article is a comprehensive analysis of the e-commerce market in Ukraine and the world. Method or methodology of research: in the article, the study is based on the theory of scientific knowledge, a systematic approach to the problems under consideration, the study of their relationship and development. Presentation of the main material (results of work). Substantiated what e-commerce is. Proposals on the problems and directions of development of e-commerce in Ukraine. Conclusions in accordance with article. The article notes the positive economic effect of electronic commerce, which is recognized by the world and Ukrainian markets, which is confirmed by the indicators for the Ukrainian electronic market.
