The number of girls and boys among the surveyed was the same - 26 children of each gender. A "non-existent animal" projective test was used to assess the psychoemotional sphere of the children. We appliedthe psychometric method by Ch.D. Spielberg, Yu.L. Haninto determine the reactive anxiety (RА) and personal anxiety (PA). The questionnaire by A. Bass, A. Darki was used to single out the various aspects of the symptom complex of aggression and to calculate the index of aggression (IA) and the index of hostility (IH). Sleep quality was assessed with the help of the Pittsburgh Questionnaire. Results and discussion: Assessment of the psychoemotional condition of the children, who were in quarantine for COVID-19, showed the significant violationsin the majority of them (95.15%), which were characterized by the manifestations of anxiety (78.85%), aggression (59.62%) and exhaustion (15.38%). A high level of anxiety was found to be more often in the girls (25.00%), while in the boys, it was registered almost 2 times less (11.54%), and on the contrary, a high level of aggression in the combination with anxiety orwithout itwas determined more often in the boys (26.92%) than in the girls (13.46%). The frequency of exhaustionsymptom complex did not depend on gender. A more detailed description of the level of anxiety, performed with the help of psychometric methods Ch.D. Spielberg, Yu.L. Hanin, confirmed that the high levels of both personal and reactive anxiety were more inhering in the girls. Assessment ofthe forms of aggressive behavior showed that the manifestations of physical aggression and negativism were the most typical features for the boys, while the indirect aggression, resentment and guilt were observed in the girls more often. Thehighlevels of IA werefoundtooccur almost 3 times more oftenin theboys than in thegirls, whilethehighlevel of IH wasdetected equally often both inthegirls and intheboys. In the children who were in quarantine for COVID-19, psychoemotional conditions were often accompanied by sleep disorders, at the same time, they were observed more often in the girls than in the boys.

Objectives. To study some peculiarities of psychophysiology of children and adolescents with scoliosis and to assess its dynamics after surgical treatment. Material and Methods. Total of 58 patients with scoliosis of grade III–IV at the age of 10 to16 years were examined, out of them 17 were operated on by Cotrel – Dubousset technique. Control group consisted of 18 practically healthy individuals of similar age. Clinical, rontgenologic and psychophysiologic methods of analysis were used. Psychoemotional state was assessed by depression level, indexes of personal and reactive anxiety, and by patients’ attitude to their disease and vital functions. Psychovegetative reactivity was evaluated by oculocardiac, cardiac-sinus and celiac-plexus reflexes. The patients were examined three times: before operation, in six and twelve months after operation. Results. Psychophysiologic status of children and adolescents with scoliosis essentially differs from that of normal ones. Psychoemotional disorders are characterized by a high level of depression, situational and personal anxiety, and by violation of social adaptation, and psychovegetative disorders – by increase in lability and reduction of reactivity of the vegetative nervous system. Conclusion. It was revealed that the psychophysiologic status of children and adolescents with scoliosis has essential peculiarities. In the nearest postoperative period the positive dynamics is mainly seen in psychoemotional status, but psychovegetative state remain without any essential dynamics.

Currently, the implementation of innovative non-invasive methods for controlling the state of the human organism under stress conditions is highly actual. Long-time intellectual burdens lead to the chronic stress and may result in the exhaustion of antioxidant system. The aim of the research is to study the characteristics of the antioxidant status in saliva under the conditions of intensive intellectual activities. In order to carry out the experiment, we collected the cohort of 123students aged from 20 to 22 years of the second and third years of the V.F.Voino-Yasenetsky Krasnoyarsk State Medical University. The examined materials, namely saliva, had been taken by direct spitting into test-tubes. Saliva was collected twice: firstly background sampling had been taken during the course of regular classes when the students were supposed to be in the state of emotional balance; secondly, the test sampling had been made in the time of examination session characterized by considerable intellectual burdens. We carried out questionnaire survey for the students using Spielberger-Hanin and Nemchin-Taylor tests. With the help of these tests, we determined the situational and personal anxiety as well as the predisposition to stress development. Antioxidant status was evaluated by Н2О2-luminol-dependent chemiluminescence technique. Chemiluminescent tests were performed by tablet luminometer TriStar LB 941, (made by Berthold). We had proved the existence of the association between the antioxidant status of saliva and the state of intellectual tension. We have noted that during a session in a group with the high level of uneasiness indices have grown, in a group with the low level of uneasiness they have decreased. We can suppose that in the time of examination sessions there is an increase in the common level of anxiety under the lowering of antioxidant activity. In intellectual stress, the antioxidant system performs the interception of radicals less intensively, because the speed of active forms of oxygen (AFO) neutralization is decreased. So, under the conditions of intensive intellectual activities, the degradation of antioxidant protection is observed. It is caused, supposedly, by the lowering of the activity of the enzymes of peroxidase protection. The pro-oxidant system also works less efficiently. This is confirmed by the decline of such markers of CL-fluorescence as maximum intensity, amplitude and light sum, which showed AFO number.

The article is devoted to the problem of psychological maturity of the individual. The basic theoretical approaches to the phenomenon of maturity of the person are considered. The concept of «maturity» correlates with the study of existential aspects of human life and is considered from the point of view of its significance for society. In the course of ontogeny, maturity acts as a criterion and a condition for the successful development of various social roles, statuses, biological and socially determined functions. Psychological maturity is defined in the narrow sense as an indicator of the work of sensory, mnemonic and intellectual functions of a person; in the broad sense – as a period of conscious regulation by a person of his own behavior, which involves the realization of man as a person. There are two main approaches to understanding the structure of psychological maturity of the individual. According to the first approach, the concept of mature personality can be described by such properties as synergy, autonomy, responsibility, contact, self-acceptance, decentralization, tolerance, depth of experiences, life philosophy and creativity. According to the second approach, the structural model of the person’s psychological maturity, which consists of cognitive, motivational and behavioral components, is considered. Formation of conditions for psychological maturity is an important task for mental development in youth. The article presents the results of studying the features of emotional sphere of students with different levels of psychological maturity. In the group of boys and girls with a high level of psychological maturity, emotional profiles dominated the emotions of interest and joy. Moderate levels of personal anxiety and reactive anxiety were diagnosed. Indicators of aggressiveness and hostility are slightly higher than average values. The dominant man infestation of aggression is a verbal form. Sufficient development of emotional intelligence for students with a high level of psychological maturity is revealed. In boys and girls with a low level of psychological maturity, the main emotions were interest, joy and shame. High levels of personal anxiety and reactive anxiety are revealed, as well as the general level of aggressiveness. The results of the study of emotional intelligence indicate low values for all scales, which in sum form the low integrative values. At a high level of psychological maturity, boys and girls are characterized by a higher level of cognitive activity, emotional stability, and developed emotional intelligence. On the contrary, boys and girls with a low level of psychological maturity are more likely to prevail in the emotional profile of negative emotional experiences, anxiety, negativism and self-inducing reactions.
