These days it takes a very special vampire movie to stand out. Like Twilight, the Swedish film Let the Right One In is a love story between a human and a vampire but there the resemblance ends. Let the Right One In is not a romantic fantasy but combines the supernatural with social realism. Set on a housing estate in the suburbs of Stockholm in the early 1980s, it's the story of Oskar, a lonely, bullied child, who makes friends with Eli, the girl in the next apartment. 'Oskar, I'm not a girl,' she tells him and she's not kidding. They forge a relationship which is oddly innocent yet disturbing, two outsiders against the rest of the world. But one of these outsiders is, effectively, a serial killer. While Let the Right One In is startlingly original, it nevertheless couldn't have existed without the near century of vampire cinema that preceded it. This book looks at how it has drawn from, and wrung new twists on, such classics as Nosferatu (1922), how vampire cinema has already flirted with social realism in films like Near Dark (1987) and how vampire mythology adapts itself to the modern world.

The article is devoted to the analysis of two dominant security concepts in the modern world. Given the long bipolarity of the world, due to the dominance of the Horde and Westphalian concepts of security, the question arises about the place of Ukraine in this coordinate system. In the process of research, a historical analysis of the emergence, formation and dissemination of two, alternative concepts of security, which are characteristic of countries with different governance models. It was found that Russia and China, given the geographical and geopolitical situation and the peculiarities of the historical process, adapted and creatively refined the Horde concept of security inherent in the state of Genghis Khan. Instead, Western European countries, and later the United States, formed a concept of security based on the principles laid down by the Westphalian system in the seventeenth century. The main features of the Horde concept of security (according to H. Chkhartishvili), which is based on strict centralization, sacredness of the ruler's personality and the dominance of privileges over rights, are highlighted.

The purpose of the study is to group the countries of the world according to the availability and legality of abortion and to identify patterns of development of tourist flows of abortion tourism. The research methodology includes a system of methods and techniques: monographic method (used to process materials from literary sources and Internet resources), statistical method (used to assess the prevalence of abortion), cartographic method (used to visualize the legality and availability of abortion around the world), classification method (used to group countries according to the criterion of the level of availability and legality of abortion). Research results. The geography of tourist flows of one of the types of medical tourism (abortion tourism) was analyzed. It arose as a result of the possibility of obtaining medical procedures abroad, prohibited or restricted in their own country. Attention was focused on the factors of legality and accessibility of these medical services in the countries. There are four groups of countries on the availability of abortion: 1) freedom of abortion; 2) abortion for medical and socio-economic reasons; 3) abortion for medical reasons and in other exceptional cases; 4) complete ban. The right to terminate a pregnancy at the woman's request is guaranteed in 71% of developed countries and in 16% of developing countries. Most countries that restrict abortion throughout the territory or in its separate administrative units - this is the state of Africa and South Asia and Latin America. But abortion tourism is the most intensive in Europe. The controversy over abortion has not abated. The two main groups in discussion call themselves "for choice" (with an emphasis on women's right to choose) and "for life" (with an emphasis on the unborn child's right to life). The scientific novelty of the work is that the proposed grouping of countries according to the legality and availability of abortion, outlines the factors of abortion tourism. The main directions of tourist flows of abortion tourism in Europe are determined. The practical significance of the results of the work is that they can be used to shape the tourism policy of Ukraine, as the state is involved in the field of abortion tourism as a recipient of tourist flows. The results of the study also contribute to solving social and demographic problems in the context of depopulation and deteriorating public health. After all, abortions are factors that negatively affect the reproduction of the population and women's health.

The subject of this research is the examination of evolution of the idea of self-determination of peoples based on the fundamental works of the Russian and foreign scholars, thinkers of the antiquity and modernity. The author considers the transformations experienced by the principle of self-determination at various historical stages of development; as well as builds a corresponding systems of the development cycles. The conclusion is made that after conception of the idea of self-determination, the colonial powers viewed this concept as ethical, seeing the threat to legitimacy of the established order. Therefore, throughout almost a century, the leading countries refused to include this right into the corresponding international and domestic documents. The main conclusions are as follows: after consolidation of the principle in the Charter of the United Nations, it became the foundation for the emergence of news states and destruction of the colonial world; the principle served as a leitmotif for the development of human rights and international relations, but at the same time became a threat and challenge to the territorial integrity; wars between the countries are replaced with the civil and interethnic conflicts; the world is captured with such phenomena as state nationalism that subsequently grew into extremely radical forms, such as fascism and Nazism; the modern international law actively promotes the two competing principles – territorial integrity and self-determination; in modern world, the right to self-determination is not limited by peoples under the colonial past – there occur new forms of self-determination that threaten the existence of sovereign states. Uncertainty of the status of the newly emerged states formations serves as the source of domestic and international tension, which inevitably leads to intergovernmental clashes and negatively impacts geopolitical situation in separate regions and in the world as a whole.

Is it possible to integrate the methodology in Ukraineand why. Why Finland is taken requires further investigation. the methodologyof the study is to analyze the methodology of schools and how the school year isplanned in Finnish schools. Grading system for primary and secondary students.Historical information on the formation of specialized institutions in Finland. Thefirst experiments of implementation of this methodology in the education ofUkraine. the scientific novelty is to identify, based on analyzed materials from amore developed country, the basic techniques of Finnish educational institutionsin the course of education for possible implementation in Ukraine. conclusions Inthe author’s opinion, the main aspects of Finland’s education were revealed. Studieshave shown that Finnish education is one of the most successful in the world.Finland’s education system ranks first in terms of knowledge, number of childrenwho enjoy reading, second place in the natural sciences, and fifth place inmathematics. “According to PISA, Finland is considered to be one of the mostsuccessful countries in the system. Here, children are not just gobbling upinformation, they can use it to solve life’s challenges, and this is extremelyimportant. Our business is not to adopt the Finnish system – it is simply impossible, but to multiply our positive experience with their methods and practices to makeour children competitive in today’s world. Unfortunately, today’s school educationin Ukraine does not give maximum results for our children, ”Anna Novosad said. She also emphasized that Ukrainian children are facing new goals and newchallenges related to globalization and other complexities of the modern world.“We must move away from the tradition of suffering of the Ukrainian people, which we transmit to our children through Ukrainian literature,” – EducationMinister Anna Novosad [1]. She is right, because without the necessary reformsin Ukrainian education there is no future. Reform will be effective when we trustthe teachers and the teachers trust the children. “Big starts with small”, you needto set the right goal. For example, in the USA – to become the number one countryin the world in all directions, in Poland – to be in line with European standards. We need something in the middle where Ukraine can take a worthy place in theworld.

In the modern world protecting the right to life encounters various obstacles. Personalistic ethics encouraging attitudes pro vita is also taking the dialogue with contemporary philosophical and political currents, including those that do not accept the integral concept of man, but rather they are in favor of his reductionist vision, which in turn it lead to reduced ability to protect human rights, despite their proclamation as the rights of individuals. Appearing in this position „anthropological error”, it also leads to a reductionist vision of social structures such as family, society, nation or state. Moreover, such a vision of man and the world around him, it also determines the constitutional dimension of the state. Consequently, this leads to the creation and operation of various forms of democracy that instead create conditions for legal protection of the right to life from conception to natural death, legalize abortion and euthanasia. This is a serious contemporary threat to the right to life.
