Ternate city has several modern and traditional markets. This study focuses on the traditional markets. They are found in several locations, such as in Gamalama village, Dufa-Dufa village, and Bastiong village. Meanwhile the local government builds traditional markets in Kota Baru village. The existence of traditional markets as centers for trade contribute to the Local Own-source Revenue of the region from retributions. Ternate's Own-source Revenue increased during the period of 2010 to 2015, as well as the level of retribution as one of its contributing factor. This study aims to determine the development of traditional market retribution and their perks sector of the Local Own-source Revenue of Ternate City. This study was carried out in Ternate City. This study is a descriptive research with secondary data analysis. The data were analyzed with simple linear regression tools in time series formatted as Y = β + x. The study findings reveal that there is a very strong relationship between Local Own-source Revenue and traditional market retribution. The correlation coefficient (R) of 0.987 and the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.975 illustrate 97.5% contribution to the revenue. It recommends the Ternate Local Government to perfectly manage the retribution to realize a positive relationship between the fees taken and the service provided. This is mutually beneficial between the government and the community in general.

The government's efforts in structuring traditional markets in Rengasdengklok District, Karawang Regency are deemed ineffective, because the traders leave the building in the market and prefer to sell on the side of the road which causes traffic jams every morning. The government is in the process of constructing a new market building to move traders to a new location. The problem that occurs in the arrangement of this traditional market is the absence of a proper building for traders and traders, which is difficult to arrange properly. As a result, the traders filled the main road of Rengasdengklok and left traces of rubbish on the side of the road. In addition, there is no parking space for buyers. Researchers used the theory of the main components of government strategy (X) from (Mulgan, 2008) which consisted of 5 sub variables, namely purposes, environment, direction, action, and learning. In addition, the researcher uses structuring theory (Y) from (George R Terry, in the book Principles of Management (Sukarna, 2019) which consists of 6 sub variables, namely man, material, machines, method, money, and market. The method used is explanatory. Research with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using literature study, questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The population in this study were traders, amounting to 1,314 people. While the sample in this study amounted to 93 people. The sampling method using purposive sampling. Data analysis technique used is the Pearson product moment correlation analysis, hypothesis testing and determinant coefficient. The results showed that the respondents 'responses about the local government strategy were 65.6%, based on the percentage score criteria respondents' answers were categorized as strong. This happens because the government's strategy in conducting market structuring it is good, as for the results in market structuring traditional at 79.0% this is based on the criteria for the respondent's score in the strong category. This is because the market arrangement is good. The influence of local government strategy on traditional market arrangement can be seen that the contribution of influence is 23.8% based on the interpretation guideline of the low coefficient of determination. This happened because there were no proper buildings for traders to sell. Then the remaining 76.2% is influenced by other factors not examined by the researcher.

The term, 'inang-inang pasar' is referred to Bataknese market female vendors who sell basic commodities in the traditional urban markets. They have the image of hard working and tough vendors who fight against poverty in towns. Their activities as vendors in traditional markets indicate their strategic role of women as the agents of economic resilience and the agents of health security in their families. Here, their toughness in supporting their families by being vendors at Sembada traditional market, Medan. However, their toughness becomes a dilemma caused by Covid-19 pandemic. In this case, the government implement prokes (health protocol) from 3Ms to 5 Ms (wearing masks, washing hands, doing social distancing, avoiding crowd, and staying home), including in the area of the traditional markets where they sell their merchandise. The Prokes of Covid-19 in traditional markets have caused various responses from them. The reality is that they have not been ready to practice the policy on this 5 M Prokes since most of them lack of awareness of adhering to it due to the vulnerable of their health habitus. It seems that they can become the carriers and local transmitters of Covid-19. This situation worsens their condition and the people surrounding them such as their own family members. <p>The role of fertilizers is significant in increasing production andquality of agricultural commodities. Availability of fertilizers to farmers should be conducted to meet six precise principles:precise in time, precise in size, precise in type, precise in place, precise in quality and precise in the right price. By having these principles farmers can apply a balanced fertilizer technology in accordance with specific recommendations. This study was conducted to assess the distribution of fertilizer subsidy policy in Rokan Hilir, Riau province, Indonesia. Rokan Hilir was chosen because nearly 50% of its revenue comes from agriculture, so that understanding the policy of subsidized fertilizer is noteworthy.</p><p>This study was conducted in five districts in the administrative area for Rokan Hilir. The method used in this study is qualitative approach with descriptive research. Data collected in this study consist of primary and secondary data on the effectiveness of policy implementation of fertilizer distribution.</p><p>The results showed that a wide range of alternative approaches have been made to overcome the fertilizer scarcity problems, either by local government or fertilizer manufacturers in Rokan HIlir. The local government asked manufacturers of fertilizers to supply fertilizer in the area in need. This policymay overcome the fertilizers’ shortages and dampen the rise in fertilizer prices in the market. Using this approach, the subsidy was only reflectingdelivery cost to the farmers. However there are some issues that need attention: the audit of the production costs and the operational structure of fertilizer producers need to be performed. This is because there are expenses that irrelevant to the operation of fertilizer producers and large enough. Another concern is no control of fertilizer distribution from upstream to downstream. To overcome this, the Minister of Agriculture should give more authority to local government to control fertilizer distribution. So that the local government head (regent)may distribute the fertilizer subsidy based on land acreage not only acts as fertilizer distributor. In this era, a lot of activities that can not be separated from the practice of cheating or fraud , no exception In the government . Inspektorat Sumenep is the leading institution of internal Local Government in preventing and detecting fraud in the Local Government appropiate Perbup Sumenep No. 29 of 2008 . Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep need attention on the issue . This is due to Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep an agency with the largest number of assets and managing large budgets . These conditions led to the formulation of the problem is How Inspektorat Sumenep role in preventing and detecting fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep. This study used a qualitative approach in which the focus of this study is Inspektorat role in preventing and detecting fraud at Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep . Primary data obtained by direct interviews with the parties directly related to the determination of the source of research data in a qualitative study using nonprobability sampling . The sampling technique used was purposive sampling . The conclusion of this study, role of the Inspektorat Sumenep in the prevention of fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep still not maximal . This is due to Inspektorat Sumenep not supervise from the planning / budgeting and not optimal in overseeing and assisting the implementation of the SPIP as an instrument of fraud prevention in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep . The role of Inspektorat Sumenep in the detection of fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep done by conducting an audit of financial and asset management in each financial year.Keywords: fraud, government, inspektorat.

This study was performed to update and generate prediction equations for converting digestible energy (DE) to metabolizable energy (ME) for Korean Hanwoo beef cattle, taking into consideration the gender (male and female) and body weights (BW above and below 350 kg) of the animals. The data consisted of 141 measurements from respiratory chambers with a wide range of diets and energy intake levels. A simple linear regression of the overall unadjusted data suggested a strong relationship between the DE and ME (Mcal/kg DM): ME = 0.8722 × DE + 0.0016 (coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.946, root mean square error (RMSE) = 0.107, p < 0.001 for intercept and slope). Mixed-model regression analyses to adjust for the effects of the experiment from which the data were obtained similarly showed a strong linear relationship between the DE and ME (Mcal/kg of DM): ME = 0.9215 × DE − 0.1434 (R2 = 0.999, RMSE = 0.004, p < 0.001 for the intercept and slope). The DE was strongly related to the ME for both genders: ME = 0.8621 × DE + 0.0808 (R2 = 0.9600, RMSE = 0.083, p < 0.001 for the intercept and slope) and ME = 0.7785 × DE + 0.1546 (R2 = 0.971, RMSE = 0.070, p < 0.001 for the intercept and slope) for male and female Hanwoo cattle, respectively. By BW, the simple linear regression similarly showed a strong relationship between the DE and ME for Hanwoo above and below 350 kg BW: ME = 0.9833 × DE − 0.2760 (R2 = 0.991, RMSE = 0.055, p < 0.001 for the intercept and slope) and ME = 0.72975 × DE + 0.38744 (R2 = 0.913, RMSE = 0.100, p < 0.001 for the intercept and slope), respectively. A multiple regression using the DE and dietary factors as independent variables did not improve the accuracy of the ME prediction (ME = 1.149 × DE − 0.045 × crude protein + 0.011 × neutral detergent fibre − 0.027 × acid detergent fibre + 0.683).

This study examined the role of local government in community development in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria. A total of 420 people participated in the study. The study sample of 420 persons comprised 220 community development officers selected from the study area and 200 adult educators randomly selected from Enugu State. The entire population of the study was used due to the size. A 21-item structured questionnaire developed by the researchers was used as the instrument for data collection. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions. The study revealed that the budget allocation sent by the government to the responsible departments in the local government is not always received as and when due for the effective implementation of community development projects. It was concluded that a higher monitoring authority should be set aside to monitor and supervise the existence of checks and balances between the regulations of the local government areas.

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of community restaurants (CRs), managed by the Government of the State of Bahia/Brazil, for the dimension of access to food. The study used secondary data obtained from the public opinion survey Profile of users of community restaurants in Salvador. The nutritional information was accessed through the analysis of CRs’ menus. Adequate effectiveness of access to food was considered when the CR served meals to 50% to 70% of the users considered the target audience (individuals served by the two CRs located in the city of Salvador/Bahia/Brazil). The participants (n = 1464; 778 as low-income individuals) were adult CR users from Salvador/Brazil. Most of the respondents were male, 40 to 54 years old, not white, had up to 9 years of formal education, without a partner, and living in the municipality of Salvador. The evaluated CRs are effective in serving 53.1% of the target population in their total service capacity. Meal provision only reached an estimated 0.7% of the socially vulnerable community in the district. The average energy value of the meal served by the CR units was 853.05 kcal/meal, with a mean energy density composition classified as average (1.15 kcal/g). The effectiveness of the evaluated community restaurants showed that these instruments were minimally effective in promoting access to food for the low-income population within their total daily service capacity, and the current quantity of these facilities was insufficient. However, these instruments stand out in the fundamental role of promoting the daily distribution of meals to the Brazilian population with the highest social vulnerability levels.

Lack of awareness, lack of availability of non-farm activities, lack of nutritional facilities, inadequate health infrastructure, restricted movement to forest areas, and reliance on herbal medicines are some of the worst conditions that the indigenous population had to face worldwide, during the pandemic. Around 10.45 crore (10.45 million) indigenous population that resides in India are at stake because of economic inequality and social stigma. Lack of developmental measures in India has always led the tribal population to dwell at the margins without proper resources of economic sustenance. The announcements of lockdown and proposals for industrial projects approved during the lockdown period further aggravated their conditions. With the help of secondary data, news reports, and international agency reports, the article tries to critically review the conditions of the tribal population in India, the measures taken by the government, and the role of local organizations in helping tribal people to sustain the pandemic.

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of financial performance on profit growth at PT. Semen Tonasa (Persero) in Pangkep Regency. Data collection using secondary data using samples in this study is a saturated sample (census). The population in this study is the number of years of financial performance (ROA) and the number of years of profit growth at PT. Semen Tonasa (Persero) in Pangkep Regency, which is 36 months from 2015 - 2017, while the sample taken is the number of observations for 36 months (January 2015-December 2017). The data obtained were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis, t test and test coefficient of determination (R²) which processing was carried out with SPSS version 23. The results showed that the proposed hypothesis was accepted because it showed positive and significant hypothesis test results. This means that financial performance has a positive and significant effect on earnings growth.

This study aims to describe the role of local government and the participation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the development of Plastic Woven Crafts in Karanggebang Jetis Village, Ponorogo Regency. The theory used in the formulation of the first problem regarding the role of local government uses the theory of Gede Diva (2009) which divides the role of government in three ways, namely the role of government as a facilitator, the role of government as regulator and the role of government as a catalyst. Second, the participation of UMKM actors uses the theory of Cohen and Uphoff in Distianto (2016) into four forms of participation, namely participation in planning, participation in implementation, participation in the utilization of results and finally participation in evaluation.This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. The technique of determining informants using purposive sampling techniques and data collection techniques carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this research in the efforts to develop UMKM Plastic Weaving Crafts in Karanggebang Jetis Village, Ponorogo Regency, in general, there has been no interference from the government and UMKM entrepreneurs. So far, plastic woven crafts are still not developed. To develop UMKM especially plastic woven handicrafts located in Karanggebang Jetis, it is necessary to have the role of government and participation of UMKM actors.
