Choronic energy malnutrition is health problems in women reproductiveage. The purpose of this study was assessed association betweennutrition knowledge, energy and protein intake with chronic energymalnutrition. Design study was observational study with cross sectionaldesign. The Sample were taken by exshautive sampling with collected152 praconseption women. Study was conducted in Boalemo regency.Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis which was chisquare test. The result showed that there were only 2,6% in age lessthan 20 years, most of educational level les than nine years 66,4%,92,8% had occupation as house wife, 28,8 % choronic energymalnutrition, 52,6% low nutrition knowledge, 55,9% low energy intakeand 54,6% low protein intake. Bivariate analysis showed women whohad CEM with low nutrition knowledge 51,3% higher than high level ofnutrition knowledge 2,7%, low penergy intake 37,6% higher thanadequate energy intake 16,4%, low protein intake 36,1% higher thanadequate protein intake 18,8%. Chi square test showed there wereassociation between nutrition knowledge (p = 0,000), energy intake (p =0,007) and protein intake (p = 0,029) with chronic energy malnutrition inpraconseption women. It was concluded tha low nutrition knowledge,low energy and protein intake had association with chronic energymalnutrion.

Background: Adolescence is a period of life with specific health and developmental needs. Nutrition in adolescents is necessary to be considered because it has to be in a  balanced form. The data of Sleman District Health Office 2016 showed that 114 adolescents in Public Health Center of Mlati 1 had undernutrition. Also, it showed that the highest prevalence was at Vocational High School of Muhammadiyah Mlati, which was 42% male and 31% female students. This study aims to know the association of nutrition knowledge, protein-energy intake and adolescents’ nutritional status at Vocational High School of Muhammadiyah Mlati, Sleman Yogyakarta.Design and Methods: This was an observational analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The subjects were adolescents aged 15-18 years, selected using stratified random sampling with a total of 58 persons. Data collected were analyzed using the Spearman Rank Correlation for bivariate technique (where α = 0.05).Results: It was shown that 81.0%  had a good nutrition knowledge, 91.4% had deficit energy intake, 82.8 %  had deficit protein intake, and 58.6% had severe nutritional status. Bivariate analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between nutrition knowledge and nutritional status (p=0.394), but energy intake and nutritional status were related (p=0.010 <α = 0.05). Furthermore, protein intake and nutritional status had a significant relationship (p=0.039 <α = 0.05).Conclusions: To be concluded,  there was a correlation between the protein and energy intake and nutritional status of adolescents.

The importance of knowing the nutritional status of mothers before pregnancy can improve nutrition problems that will be sustainable in infants will be born. The risk of SEZ in women of childbearing age (WUS) has an impact on infants with LBW so that it will increase the number of malnutrition in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge, attitudes, energy and protein intake to the risk of chronic lack of energy (SEZ) in women of childbearing age (WUS) in Hibun Village, Sanggau District. This type of research is an observational study with a cross-sectional study design with a purposive sampling technique, the number of research samples is 70 respondents with criteria aged 18-35 years both those who have given birth and have not and are not pregnant. Data analysis included univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test with a confidence level of 90% (α = 0.10). The results showed that there was a relationship between energy intake (p = 0.009) and SEZ risk in women of childbearing age and there was no relationship between knowledge (p = 0.196), attitudes (p = 0.226) and protein intake (p = 0.483) with SEZ risk in women of childbearing age in Hibun Village, Sanggau District. There is a relationship between energy intake and the risk of SEZ in women after fertility. There is no relationship between knowledge, attitudes and protein intake against the risk of SEZ in women after fertility. The need for counseling on SEZs for WUS to increase knowledge carried out at posyandu is carried out by health workers and cadres carried out periodically and continuously

Background: The prevalence of malnutrition in Indonesia is still high. One of potential factor contributing to the high prevalence of malnutrition is improper complementary feeding pattern and breast feeding practices. In the community there are three complementary feeding patterns; those are traditional feeding, industries feeding and combination.Objective: This study was conducted to analyze the association between complementary feeding, energy and protein intake, and breast feeding status with nutritional status of infants 0-12 month old.Method: This study used a cross sectional design. Subjects were 151 infants 0-12 month old. Complementary feeding pattern and breast feeding status were collected using interview methods. Energy and protein intakes were collected using food recall methods. Nutritional status was measured using weight for length (WHZ). The chi square test was used to analyze the data.Result: There wasn’t any association between complementary feeding pattern and nutritional status of infants 0-6 m.o. old (p=0.04) and 6-12 month (p=0.62). There wasn’t any association between energy intake and nutritional status of infants 0-6 month old (p=0.40), but there was any association in infants 6-12 month old (p=0.01). Protein intake associated with nutritional status of infants 0-6 m.o. old and 6-12 month old (p=0.033 and p=0.04). Breast feeding status didn’t associated with nutritional status of infants 0-6 month old and 6-12 month old (p=0.689 and p=0.10).Conclusion: Complementary pattern and breast feeding status were not associated with nutritional status. Energy intake was associated with nutritional status of infants 6-12 month old. Protein intake associated with nutritional status of infants 0-6 month old and 6-12 month old.

Stunting is one of major problem in the world, including Indonesia. Its prevalence 30.8% in 2018. It is a chronic growth faltering caused by low food intake and long-term disease makes child shorter than the average of the same age. The objective of the research was to assess the relationship of caries experience and food intake with stunting in 6-8 years-old elementary school children in Pantai Labu in 2018.The research used a cross-sectional approach. The samples were 144 aged 6-8 years-old, taken by using a cluster sampling technique. Stunting was assessed by measure the value of height to age, caries experience was measured by using the def-t index and food intake were calculated by using food recall 24 hours. The data were analyzed by using the Chi-square test and multiple logistic regression tests. The result of this study indicated that stunting children occurred due to high caries experience (52.4%) and low protein intake (54%). The result of Chi-square test showed that there was the relationship of caries experience (p=0.004; PR=2.150, CI=1.216-3.799), and protein intake (p=0.001; PR=2.376, CI=1.338-4.219) with stunting. The result of multiple logistic regression tests indicated that low protein intake the most dominant correlate with stunting (p=0.001; PR=3,950, CI=1.725-9.405). The conclusion was high caries experience and low protein intake was risk factor for stunting. Stunting in children is 3 times comes from low protein intake and have a chance about 89% causing stunting compared to good protein intake.

One of the increasing benchmarks of the progress of a nation is seen from the life expectancy of its population. Increasing life expectancy is reflected in the increasing number of elderly (elderly) population. The increasingly elderly population in Indonesia will have a major impact on the management of health problems. This study aims to see aims to know the history of illness, energy intake and protein intake with nutritional status in the elderly in the work area of ​​Padangmatinggi in Padangsidimpuan Health Center.This research type is quantitative with cross sectional research design. This study was conducted by assessing the food method of food recall 24 hours. Nutritional status with IMT / U. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people who are elderly. Data analysis is univariate, and bivariate with Chi Square Test. The result of bivariate test shows that there is correlation between history of illness (p=0,000), energy intake (p=0.000), and protein intake (p=0.000) with nutritional status. Cadres should more often give counseling about balanced nutrition to the community, especially elderly to improve knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of balanced nutrition in elderly and always monitor nutritional status of elderly through posyandu elderly in order to maintain normal BMI. The health office is more often to monitor the nutritional status and health of the elderly in the working area of ​​Padang municipal health center of Padangsidimpuan in order to maintain the normal nutritional status in the elderly and the elderly to avoid degenerative diseases.

Implementation of the food is a series of activities that constitute a system includes activities or sub-system of budgeting food, planning menus, making estimates of foodstuffs, provision or purchase groceries, reception, storage and distribution of food ingredients, preparation and cooking of food, assessment and distribution food, recording and reporting and evaluation carried out in the framework of the provision of food for the population in the institution. This study aims to determine the relationship of the acceptability of food energy and protein intake in students in the dormitory MAN Model Singkawang. This type of research is observational with cross sectional approach. Sampling using simple random sampling technique to obtain a sample of 48 students. Primary data collected included the acceptability of food, intake of energy and protein intake. While the secondary data includes a general overview of the research and the number of students that will be investigated. The analysis used include univariate and bivariate analysis using chi square test. Based on statistical analysis using chi square test, shows that there is a relationship between the received power of food to energy and protein intake in students in a dormitory MAN Model Singkawang (p <0.05).

Implementation of IMD in hospitals has decreased from the previous year and has not reached the target set by the government. Some IMD implementation processes have not been carried out according to applicable standards. So that babies do not get an IMD in accordance with existing SOPs. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinant factors associated with the implementation of the IMD by midwives in the Midwifery and Maternity Room Emergency Room (IGD) at the Anutapura General Hospital in Palu. This research method is analytical with cross sectional approach. The population of this study was that all midwives in the obstetrics emergency room and maternity room at Anutapura Palu Hospital were 37 respondents. The sample in this study is total sampling. The analysis used was univariate, and bivariate analysis using the chi square test with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05). The results of statistical tests on variable knowledge of midwives with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.018 (p value <0.05). APN training with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.697 (p value> 0.05). length of work with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.029 (p value <0.05). and peer support with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.007 (p value <0.05). Conclusions there is a relationship between knowledge, length of work, peer support with the implementation of the IMD, and training factors that have nothing to do with IMD implementation. The strongest factor in the relationship is peer support. It is recommended that the Anutarapura Palu Hospital be able to motivate midwives so that they can further enhance their role in the implementation and provide support to their colleagues so that the implementation of the IMD can be carried out in accordance with applicable standards.Keywords: Knowledge, APN Training, Duration of work, Implementation of IMD

<p><em>Based on data from the Indonesia Ministry of Health in 2015, In Indonesia, new professional nurses were just 2% of the total nurses. This figure was much lower than the Philippines which has reached 40% with bachelor and master level as their education. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age, and leadership with the performance of health personnel</em><em>. </em><em>The design of this research was analytical research with Cross Sectional Study. The population in this study was all nurses and doctors who served in the internal room, children, surgery and midwifery</em><em>. </em><em>Sampling using total sampling</em><em> </em><em>by questionnaires. The data was processed by univariate and bivariate analysis using Chi-square test</em><em>. </em><em>The result showed that 57,8% nurses had poor performance, 56,3% doctors had poor performance, 64,4% nurses had average age 26-35 years, 56,2% doctors had average age  36-45 years, 64.4% nurses have poor leadership, </em><em>and </em><em>50.0% of doctors have less good leadership</em><em>.</em><em> There is a relationship between age</em><em> and </em><em>leadership with the performance of health personnel.</em><em></em></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p>Berdasarkan data kemenkes RI tahun 2015 jumlah tenaga kesehatan terbanyak yaitu perawat sebanyak 147.264 orang (45,65%). Di Indonesia, perawat profesional baru mencapai 2% dari total perawat yang ada. Angka ini jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan Filipina yang sudah mencapai 40% dengan pendidikan strata satu dan dua. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara umur, kepemimpinan dengan kinerja tenaga kesehatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain penelitian analitik dengan Cross Sectional Study. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua perawat dan dokter. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan Total Sampling. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Data diolah dengan analisis univariat menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 57,8% perawat memiliki kinerja kurang baik, 56,3% dokter memiliki kinerja kurang baik, 64,4% perawat memiliki umur rata-rata 26-35 tahun 64,4%, 56,2% dokter memiliki umur rata-rata 36-45 tahun, 64,4% perawat memiliki kepemimpinan kurang baik, 50,0% dokter memiliki kepemimpinan kurang baik. Terdapat hubungan antara umur dan kepemimpinan dengan kinerja tenaga kesehatan.</p>

Abstract Background This study aimed to assess the level of trust in the COVID-19 risk communication efforts in Nigeria. Methods We conducted a descriptive cross-sectional study among community members aged 15 years and above in Ondo state in October, 2020. Data were collected using an interviewer-administered questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 22. Descriptive statistics were summarized using frequencies. Trust was ranked from “1” implying “Low level of trust” to “7” denoting “High level of trust”. We conducted bivariate Chi-square test on respondents’ level of trust in the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and socio-demographic characteristics. The level of significance was set at p<0.05. Results Among the 691 respondents, 244 (35.3%) were aged 21 to 29 years, and 304 (51.4%) used the NCDC to obtain COVID-19 knowledge. Overall, 205 (41.8%) had high level of trust in the NCDC. Furthermore, 51 (51.5%) individuals aged 30-39 years had high level of trust in the NCDC (ᵡ2=17.455, p= 0.001). Also, 114 (48.5%) persons who lived with children below 18 years had high level of trust in the NCDC (ᵡ2= 8.266, p= 0.004). Conclusion Policy makers should prioritize the involvement of young and educated persons in COVID-19 risk communication strategies.

High blood pressure is defined as systolic blood pressure that is equal to or above 140 mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure equal to or above 90 mm Hg (JNC VIII, 2013). In 2018, the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is based on the characteristics of the age 45-75 years and above with an average of 58.33% (Riskesdas, 2018). The aimed of this study was to determine of fiber intake, stress levels, and physical activity with blood pressure in pre elderly and elderly at RW 03 Lubang Buaya and RW 09 Kampung Tengah, East Jakarta. This research method is observational with cross sectional approach followed by 80 respondents with simple random sampling technique Data collection was taken, namely blood pressure measurement using a Sphygmomanometer, fiber intake using the Food Recall form 2 x 24 hours (Weekend and Weekday), stress levels with the DASS-14 questionnaire, and physical activity with the Baecke questionnaire. Data processing was analyzed by univariate and bivariate using Chi-Square test. The results of bivariate analysis with chi-square test showed a significant relationship between fiber intake (p value = 0.007), stress level (p value = 0,000), and physical activity (p value = 0.022) with blood pressure. There is a relationship between fiber intake, stress level, and physical activity with blood pressure in the elderly and elderly in Lubang Buaya and Kampung Tengah.
