Diabetes mellitus occurs, one of which is characterized by hyperglycemia that occurs due to insulin abnormalities or insulin action (Perkeni, 2015). The 2018 Riskesdas survey showed an increase in the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in people over 15 years of age. High carbohydrate intake can affect the incidence of diabetes mellitus. This is caused carbohydrates that have been broken down by the body into glucose will be circulated throughout the body and the glucose balance will be controlled by the pancreas by releasing the hormone insulin. If a insulin produced is few, the glucose level in the blood will be excess and increase the occurrence of hyperglycemia. This study aims to analyze the relationship between consumption of sweet foods, body mass index and abdominal circumference with the incidence of diabetes mellitus in adults aged 26-45 years in DKI Jakarta based on the Riskesdas 2018 analysis. The results of the bivariate test with chi square showed a relationship between consumption of sweet foods (p = 0,000), body mass index (p = 0,000) and abdominal circumference (p = 0,000) with the incidence of diabetes mellitus. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between consumption of sweet foods, body mass index and abdominal circumference with the incidence of diabetes mellitus in adults aged 26-45 years in DKI Jakarta.

Exclusive breastfeeding practice in Ngombol public health center is below the regency target which was only 54.4% from 80% in Purworejo in 2019. Program to improve exclusive breastfeeding such as counseling is one of the best ways to increase community participation as this is a crucial phase to fulfill newborn nutrition needs. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of media counseling on increasing breastfeeding practice and improving newborn weight in the first-month-old. We created a quasi-experimental design with one group pre-test and a post-test with a control group design. Of 40 post-partum mothers and newborns were recruited in this study. Data collection was gathered such as socio-demography, breastfeeding observation form, and newborn’s weight both before and after the one-month intervention. The intervention group had been counseled with media such as leaflets, breastfeeding flipcharts, breast props, and newborn dolls. On the other hand, the control group had no received counseling with media. A statistical paired t-test test was created to find the association between those variables using SPSS 20.0 for windows. The mean average of newborn weight after the intervention was 1,005.55 g and 964,50 g for the intervention and control group, respectively. There were differences before and after a month of giving exclusive breastfeeding between the control and intervention groups (p<0.001). Mothers in the intervention group had 80% achieved minimum recommended weight gain (≥800 g/month). Exclusive breastfeeding counseling with media has an impact on improving newborn weight at the first-month-old in Ngombol Public health Center, Purworejo-Indonesia. Using media during breastfeeding counseling regularly may help the awareness and knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding for mothers, yet improve breastfeeding practice.

Atherosclerosis is a progressive disease causing a coronary heart disease (CHD). Atherosclerosis is related to the levels of LDL in the blood. An increased LDL in the blood can be prevented by consuming soluble fiber and antioxidants from such Kepok banana peels. The aim of this study is to know the effects of Kepok banana peel flour infusion in various dosage on LDL serum level of male wistar rats which were treated with a repeatedly heated cooking oil. This study used post test control group as experimental design in which 24 male rats were randomly categorized in five groups,  namely (1) a negative control group, (2) a positive control group treated with a repeatedly heated cooking oil and distilled water, as well as the groups treated with a repeatedly heated cooking oil and 0.5, 1, and 2 ml/rats of Kepok banana peel flour solution, for group (3), (4), and (5) respectively. LDL level were measured by using calorimetric method . The result of this study showed that the highest average levels of LDL obtained in control positive group K(+) was 14,25 mg/dl and the lowest average level of LDL obtained in the group treated with a repeatedly heated cooking oil and 0.5 ml/rat  was 11,2 mg/dl. It can be concluded that Kepok banana peel flour can not significantly reduce the mean of LDL serum level of male Wistar rats treated with repeatedly heated cooking oil (p>0,05)

High blood pressure is defined as systolic blood pressure that is equal to or above 140 mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure equal to or above 90 mm Hg (JNC VIII, 2013). In 2018, the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is based on the characteristics of the age 45-75 years and above with an average of 58.33% (Riskesdas, 2018). The aimed of this study was to determine of fiber intake, stress levels, and physical activity with blood pressure in pre elderly and elderly at RW 03 Lubang Buaya and RW 09 Kampung Tengah, East Jakarta. This research method is observational with cross sectional approach followed by 80 respondents with simple random sampling technique Data collection was taken, namely blood pressure measurement using a Sphygmomanometer, fiber intake using the Food Recall form 2 x 24 hours (Weekend and Weekday), stress levels with the DASS-14 questionnaire, and physical activity with the Baecke questionnaire. Data processing was analyzed by univariate and bivariate using Chi-Square test. The results of bivariate analysis with chi-square test showed a significant relationship between fiber intake (p value = 0.007), stress level (p value = 0,000), and physical activity (p value = 0.022) with blood pressure. There is a relationship between fiber intake, stress level, and physical activity with blood pressure in the elderly and elderly in Lubang Buaya and Kampung Tengah.

Group of adolescents who have eating behaviour disorders, food intake restrictions, alcohol consumption, drug addiction require special nutritional attention. In 2013 there were 73% of obese teens in Indonesia. This prevalence increases every year. This study aims to determine the risk of eating disorders and their relationship with excessive food intake. This study was cross sectional design with the simple sixe of 97 girls in grade of university level. Risk of eating disorders was determined by using questionnaires Eating Attitudes Test (EAT-26). Intake of nutrient was collected by semi quantitative questionnaires. Data analyszed by Chi-square test using SPSS. The results found that among girls, 5% were at high risk of eating disorder, more than 50% have over intake of energy, protein and fat, and 46,4% have over intake of carbohydrate. There was no relationship between risk of eating disorder and energy and macronutrient intake. However, those who were at high risk of eating disorder have over intake of energy, carbohydrate, protein, and fat. Adolescent girls who were at high risk of eating disorders have higher intake of energy and micronutrients. It is recommended for further research on eating disorders risks, eating behaviour and body image.
