Health Education in Efforts to Prevent Scabies at Islamic Boarding School of Harsallakum Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bengkulu Scabies is a skin disease caused by the Sarcoptes scabiei parasite that invades the skin of humans or animals. The high prevalence of scabies is generally found in environments with high population density and high interpersonal contacts such as prisons, Islamic boarding schools, and orphanages. There has been no research on the prevalence of scabies in the Harsallakum Islamic Boarding School, Bengkulu city. However, based on information from the school, there were several students who have been infected by skin disease with clinical symptoms of scabies. This community service program was aimed to provide education to students about preventing scabies infection. The service activities included delivering material about scabies, distributing leaflets, post-test and pre-test. This activity was attended by 65 participants. Evaluation included pre-test and post-test about the education carried out. The instrument to measure the level of students' understanding was the form of a questionnaire. The average value of the pre-test was 55.18 while the average value of the post-test was 80.26. It was concluded that this educational activity could increase the knowledge of the students of the Harsallakum Islamic Boarding School in Bengkulu about scabies disease. To optimize the prevention of scabies transmission, it is recommended to increase health education activities by involving health workers.

The KPSP (Pre-Development Screening Questionnaire) examination which is carried out for early detection of growth and development of children aged 0-72 months is actually not only the task of health workers, but also people who often interact with children, one of which is Playgroup and Kindergarten teachers. But unfortunately, it’s very rare for these playgroup and kindergarten teachers to understand and carry out KPSP examinations for their students. This study aims to analyze the relationship of health education about KPSP with the knowledge of playgroup and kindergarten teachers about KPSP. It was pre-post test design, the sample werw taken randomly by simple random sampling on 33 playgroup and kindergarten teachers at Permata Hati Bangkalan and Taman Posyandu Eforbia Bangkalan. The data were analyzed using paired T-test with a significance of =0.05 using SPSS. The results showed that there was a relationship between health education about KPSP with the knowledge of Plygroup and Kindergarten teachers about KPSP (p value < 0.001). The average value of teachers knowledge about KPSP has increased before and after health education, from 49.39 to 62.88. It can be concluded that educational activities through health education are effective in increasing the knowledge of Playgroup and Kindergarten teachers about KPSP.

Depression in the elderly if not immediately dealt with quickly can cause brain shrinkage, so that the elderly will experience a decrease in quality of life, decreased social and physical function, disability, suicide risk and increased mortality in the elderly. This study aimed to determine the effect of reminscene group therapy on depression in the elderly at BPPLU Kota Bengkulu. This study used a pre-experimental one group pre test and post test design. The population in this study were 60 elderly at the BPPLU in Bengkulu City. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling techniques as many as 14 elderly. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with Shapiro Wilk data normality test and Paired T test. The results showed that the average depression before reminiscene therapy was 8.21 with a standard deviation of 1.626, the average value of depression after reminiscene therapy was 6.71 with a standard deviation of 2.234, there was an effect of reminiscene group therapy on depression in the BPPLU city Bengkulu. It is expected that health workers can routinely carry out group therapy in treating depression in the elderly. Keywords: depression, elderly, reminiscene group therapy

Background: Choking deserves attention because it often happens to children. The inappropriate handling of choking becomes a vigilance. Caution and handling of choking become crucial even to cadres of Posyandu (the centre for pre- and post-natal health care and information for women and for children under five) in Karangsari Village. Thus, providing them with health education is necessary.Objective: To identify the influence of health education about handling choking on children through booklet media on the knowledge level of Posyandu cadres in Karangsari Village.Research Methods: This is a quantitative research using pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design approach. The research sample was taken through a total sampling technique. There were 30 cadres fulfilling the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research instrument consists of pre and post-test questionnaire, which was modified and had been tested for its validity and reliability.Research Result: The research result indicates that the knowledge average value obtained by the 30 respondents before being given health education is 61.50 and after being given health education is 88.00. The result of bivariate analysis using t-test sample paired test shows the p-value of 0.0001.Conclusion: There is an influence of health education about handling choking on children through booklet media on the knowledge level of Posyandu cadres in Karangsari Village.

Scabies is a skin disease caused by investment and sensitivity by Sarcoptes scabei mites, often found in Islamic boarding schools, because of the place was humid and the students' knowledge about life style was lack. Health Education was intended to increase the knowledge of the students at Al-Arifin Islamic boarding school about scabies and how to prevent it. The method of implementation in this community service activities was started from planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation. Health education was carried out through lectures and discussion by leaflets and PowerPoint presentations. The results showed 70.00% of participants gave an excellent rating of health education. Scabies health education activities provide benefits to improve health degree of public health specifically in the boarding school environment. Health education about scabies in the boarding school environment was very useful for increasing the knowledge of the students.

Background: Considering the poor health literacy and high prevalence of risk factors of NCDs in the slums, health education remains prime intervention. Indeed, successful intervention requires programmes tailored not only to local needs and available resources but also the way it is implemented in the community. The objective was to assess the knowledge of NCDs and NCD care, identify the barriers that impede community level workers from providing services pertained to achieve and maintain healthy living among the community.Methods: It was a qualitative study (FGD) conducted on 30th November 2017 among community level workers of Urban Health Unit and Training Centre (UHU and TC), Chetla, Kolkata. A thematic qualitative analysis was conducted to identify significant themes in the data.Results: It was found that everyone was aware of Non-communicable Diseases. In terms of physical activity, lack of time, whereas in tobacco, it had become a habit from the young age, poor knowledge about healthy diet were the main challenges in adopting the healthy lifestyle. Health education to create awareness is crucial in tackling NCDs.Conclusions: The study revealed that the community workers were aware of the importance of health education and poor awareness regarding healthy lifestyle among people was the main challenge. By delivering holistic interventions that address multiple lifestyle risks and incorporate relapse prevention strategies, health trainers could potentially have a significant impact on control of NCDs.

Nutritional problems are  present in most class IV-V as much as approximately 35% of the students at MI Kedungturi Mufidah sub-district of Sidoarjo . Knowledge is one of the factors that affect a person's nutrition. This research aims to know the influence of health education on knowledge of students of class IV-V on a balanced nutritious food at MI Kedungturi Mufidah sub-district of Sidoarjo. This research used the pre experimental design (One-Group Pre-post-test Design). The population in this study were all the students of class IV-V MI Kedungturi Mufidah sub district of Sidoarjo, which were as many as 62 students, with the method of stratified random sampling obtained 54 respondents. The independent Variable was health education and the dependent variable was the knowledge of students. The collection of data by using a questionnaire and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test Test. Knowledge of students of class IV-V on a balanced nutritious diet prior to Health Education most (61,1%) of respondents have knowledge enough. Knowledge of students after health education mostly (72,2%) of respondents have good knowledge. Test results Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test suggests health education influencing students knowledge. The knowledge of students become better after health education. Health education influencing students ' knowledge about balanced nutritious meals. Influence happens is an increase in knowledge of students after being given health education regarding a balanced nutritious food. Health education is a method that can be used to increase knowledge, due to related parties (teachers and health workers) can be scheduled on these activities on a regular basis with a different topic.

Scabies is a highly contagious skin disease in humans and other mammals caused by the parasitic mite sarcoptes scabiei. The main transmission of scabies is from direct physical contact, so scabies is susceptible to spread in a closed environment that is densely populated, such as houses, dormitories, and boarding schools. The location of the training is at Sulaimania Boarding School in Kuta Baro District, Aceh Besar Regency. The objective to be achieved from the training activities is to increase the knowledge of students at Sulaimania Islamic Boarding School, through the dissemination of knowledge about clean and healthy living behaviors to prevent scabies. The method used in the form of lectures, practice and frequently asked questions. Evaluation of training activities is carried out by distributing questionnaires before and after the activity. The evaluation showed that overall there was an increase approximately 60.34% in students' understanding of the prevention of scabies and healthy and clean living behaviors and the participants benefited from this training.

Hypertension is an increase in persistent blood pressure which can be at risk for cardiovascular diseases. An uncontrolled increase in blood pressure can cause damage to the, heart and blood vessels. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of deep breathing therapy on blood pressure in hypertension patients in the work area of Wara Health Centre. The research design used Quasi Experiment, one group pre-test and post-test design, to 22 respondents selected by accidental sampling. Respondent's blood pressure was measured (pre-test), then breathing therapy was carried out for 15 minutes, then the respondent's blood pressure was measured (post-test). This intervention was carried out for three consecutive days for each respondent. The results indicated the average value of systolic blood pressure before deep breathing therapy get the probability value of 0.000 showing 0.000 <0.05 and the average value of diastolic blood pressure before deep breathing therapy get the probability value of 0.000 showing 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that there is an effect of deep breath therapy on blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the working area of Puskesmas Wara. It is recommended to apply breath therapy in the treatment of hypertensive patients, carry out training for health workers, cadres, and also families, so that this therapy can be carried out independently by patients at home.

Scabies is known in Indonesia as skin diseases commonly known as a skin disease caused by infestation and sensitization to saccoptes scabiei. Scabies is also known as infectious disease worldwide with an estimated 300 million cases annually. This prevalence varies and fluctuates every time. The prevalence of  scabies in Indonesia is around 6-27% of the general population. The purpose of this study was to determine changes in attitude about clean and health life of  students after being given health education.The research  design was  Pre Experimental design. The population was all students  in boarding school Mukhtariyah Shafi'ites 1 in Beji village, district. Jenu Kab. Tuban. The sample was 80 people determined by random sampling . The Data were collected using a questionnaire which is then analyzed by Spearman and Wilcoxon tests.The results showed attitude of  boarding schoolstudents about clean and healthy life in preventing the  scabies disease before being given health education and after being given health education has increased. The  test results analysis using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test showed  pretest and post-test yield value of p = 0.000 (<0.05), which means it's very significant.            Health education was very effective in changing attitude of students, so it was advisable to further improve the implementation of health education at the boarding school in the district of Tuban. ABSTRAK Hipertensi merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang menjadi salah satu penyebab utama kematian di dunia. Berdasarkan data Puskesmas Dadok Tunggul Hitam terdapat kasus dengan diagnosa hipertensi sebanyak 5.587 jiwa (2018) meningkat menjadi 6.367 jiwa (2019). Salah satu intervensi yang dapat dilakukan yaitu pemberian edukasi tentang hipertensi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Dadok Tunggul Hitam pada bulan September 2020. Kegiatan diawali dengan pemberian pre test untuk melihat tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penyakit hipertensi, kemudian pemberian edukasi kesehatan tentang penyakit hipertensi. Pelaksanaan penyuluhan kesehatan dilaksanakan dengan memberikan edukasi terkait hipertensi kepada masyarakat melalui media Whatsapp Blast, dan diakhiri dengan post test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuannya. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat terhadap pasien yang terdiagnosis penyakit hipertensi dari 15 orang pasien terdapat 5 orang (33%) memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik tentang hipertensi sebelum diberikan penyuluhan. Setelah diberikan penyuluhan secara daring melalui media Whatsapp Blast  dari 15 orang pasien terdapat 12 orang (80%) memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang hipertensi dan upaya pencegahannya. Dapat disimpulkan adanya pengingkatan pengetahuan tentang upaya pencegahan hipertensi setelah diberikan edukasi dengan media Whatsapp Blast. Disarankan agar pemberian edukasi dengan media Whatsapp Blast dapat dilakukan bagi petugas kesehatan dalam memberikan promosi kesehatan kepada masyarakat tentang pencegahan penyakit hipertensi.Kata Kunci: Hipertensi; media whatsapp blast; edukasi  ABSTRACT                                                                                          Hypertension is a non-communicable disease which is one of the main causes of death in the world. Based on data from the Public Health Center Dadok Tunggul Hitam, there were cases of hypertension from 5,587 people (2018), increase to 6,367 people (2019). The intervention from this case by providing education about hypertension. The activity was carried out at the Public Health Center Dadok Tunggul Hitam in September 2020. The activity started by giving a pre test about hypertension, then providing health education about hypertension. The health education is delivered through the Whatsapp Blast media, and ends with a post test. The results of the activities for patients diagnosed with hypertension, from 15 patients there were 5 patients (33%) who had a good level of knowledge before given education. After given education through Whatsapp Blast media, there were 12 patients (80%) who had good knowledge about hypertension and its prevention efforts. It can be concluded that there is an increase in knowledge about hypertension and prevention after given education through Whatsapp Blast media. It is suggested that education using Whatsapp Blast media can be carried out for health workers in providing health promotion to the public regarding the prevention of hypertension.Keywords: Hypertension; whatsapp blast media; education
