ABSTRACT Introduction: Occupational Health Nursing (OHN) is very important to be studied by nursing students considering the industial demands are very high on the importance of the health of workers in the future. The problem is they don't get proportional insights to OHN. This needs evidence of its effect on nurses’ work productivity. Objective: The objective is to compare the level of work productivity between nurses who have the OHN insight with those without it, working in the industrial setting. Method: The method is Comparative Study with Cross Sectional Study Design with nursing students, nurses and Indonesian nurses working abroad as the populations. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with a total sample of 130 respondents. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire and Likert Scale, compiled based on the Health Belief Model Theory (HBM). The data were analyzed by the Paired Sample T-test to see the differences between nurses who had received OHN subject and those who had never. Result: The results show significant differences on level of understanding between nurses who have received subject material about OHN with those who have never had it, with a p-value of 0,000. Discussion: Significant productivity differences between nurses who have received lecture material about OHN and those who did not, which can be used as criticism or input for nursing education in Indonesia.

Changes in learning methods to online learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic have an impact on the psychology of students. Constraints related to the implementation of online learning cause students to experience stress. This study aims to investigate the effect of online learning on stress levels in nursing students at STIK Siti Khadijah Palembang. The research was descriptive correlation design with cross-sectional approach, the total sample was 230 students with total sampling technique. Data were collected through online-based questionnaires (google form), namely the online learning constraints questionnaire and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10). Data analysis using the chi-square test. The results showed that most of the students (50.9%) experienced enough problems in online learning and almost all students (90.9%) experienced moderate stress, statistical tests showed that there was an effect (p = 0.007) of online learning with stress levels on nursing students. The obstacles that students feel during online learning such as starting to feel bored, weak internet network, limited internet quota, difficulty concentrating and understanding the material, many lecture assignments, lack of understanding of electronic media are stress triggers for students, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of learning online during the Covid-19 pandemic with stress levels in nursing students.

BACKGROUND: The nursing students should ideally represent relevant and skillful behavior in developing science. Recently, the classical teaching and learning process involving interaction between students was shifted into online learning due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. That ideal condition could not be reached. As a result, the online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic triggers students to deal with stressors such as academic assignments, the difficulty in adapting to home environment, no face-to-face meeting with the fellow students. AIM: The researcher was aimed to analyze students’ coping strategies for burnout and fatigue from online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. METHODS: It was a quantitative research with a descriptive correlation design and cross-sectional approach. The population of the research was the students in the second semester of the undergraduate program in nursing Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. The sample of the research was 83 respondents, which were taken using a purposive sampling technique. RESULTS: Most of the nursing students were positive coping with 47 respondents (56.6%), severe burnout with 71 respondents (85.5%), and fatigue was found in 40 respondents (48.2%); meanwhile, the rest 43 respondents (52.8%) did not experience fatigue. Base on Pearson test, there was a significant correlate between nursing students coping and fatigue (0.00) with moderate correlation at 0.518, although no correlation coping with burnout. CONCLUSION: It is expected for the institution to conduct training about more interactive online learning accessible by the student and train a positive coping mechanism to cope with burnout and fatigue.

From the analysis shows that respondents who gave exclusive breast feeding as many as 57.5% and 42.5% who did not give exclusive breastfeeding. Knowledgeable both mothers of 60.0% and 40.0% of mothers are less knowledgeable, highly educated mothers of 37.5% and less educated mothers of 62.5%. From Chi-Square statistical test showed an independent and dependent variables showed that relation between knowledge (P value = 0.002) and work (P value = 0.006) with exclusive breastfeeding in Puskesmas Semuntul Kabupaten Banyuasin in the year 2012. Thus health workers to give more information about exclusive breastfeeding.   ABSTRAK ASI eksklusif merupakan pemberian ASI sedini mungkin setelah persalinan diberikan tanpa jadwal dan tidak diberi makanan lain, walaupun hanya air putih sampai bayi berumur 6 bulan.
