TINDAK TUTUR ILOKUSI SANDIAGA UNO DALAM TALKSHOW MATA NAJWA

The purpose of this article is to find out the illocutionary speech acts of Sandiaga Uno in the mata najwa talk show in TRANS 7 based on the form and type. The data obtained by the author comes from the utterances spoken by Sandiaga Uno in the Mata Najwa talk show on TRANS 7 which is re-aired on Najwa Shihab's Youtube channel April 15, 2021. The author collects data using listening and note-taking techniques. A speech act is an utterance that contains action as a functional unit in communication that considers aspects of the speech situation. Speech acts are classified into three, namely locutionary speech acts, illocutionary speech acts, and perlocutionary speech acts. In this article, the writer analyzes the illocutionary speech acts. Illocutionary speech acts are speech acts that are usually interpreted with explicit performative sentences. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the forms of illocutionary speech acts obtained are declarative and imperative forms. While the types of illocutionary speech acts obtained are assertive, directive, and expressive.

This research is entitled "Illocutionary Speech Acts in This Program Talk Show NET TV". The purpose of this study is to describe the forms of speech acts of illocution and speech strategies contained in this program. This research uses the illocutionary speech act theory proposed by Searle and the speech strategy proposed by Blum-Kulka. At the data collection stage the listening method is used to help with the note taking technique. Stages of data analysis using contextual methods. The stage of presenting the results of data analysis using formal and informal methods. In this program, NET TV Talk Show found five types of illocutionary acts, namely assertive, directive, expressive, commissive, and declarative. There are five data as assertive acts, eleven data are directive, ten data are expressive, four data are commissive, and three data are declarative. This study found three types of speech strategies, namely direct speaking strategies, indirect speaking strategies, and signaling strategies. There are five data are direct speaking strategies, three data are indirect speaking strategies, and two data are signaling strategies.

This thesis is about the analysis of speech acts found in the talk show “Hitam Putih” on Trans 7 (Episode 18th December 2017). The research question of this thesis were (1) What kinds of the illocutionary acts used in host and main guest stars utterance in “Hitam  Putih” talk show? And   (2)   How   perlocutionary   acts implied  in  host  and main guest stars utterance in “Hitam Putih” talk show?. The objectives of this research were to identifying and analyze the types of the illocutionary acts and the perlocutionary acts  implied  in  host  and  main  guest  stars  utterance  in  “Hitam Putih” talk show. This research used a qualitative method to describe   and   analyze   the   utterances.   The   technique   of   data collection were (1) Download the video of talk show Hitam Putih from  YouTube.  (2)  Transcribe  the  conversation  by  listen to   the video  in  several  times.  (3)  Reads  and  observes dialog from the script. (4) Classified the types of illocutionary acts which finding in conversation.   The   technique   of   data   analysis   were   (1)   The researcher identified  the  illocutionary  act  and  perlocutionary  act from the host and main guest stars utterance in Hitam Putih    talk show.     (2)     Described     and     analized     the utterances   which include  illocutionary  and perlocutionary acts by using pragmatic approach. (3) Concluding the data analysis. The result of this thesis show  that  assertive  illocutionary  acts  is  the  dominant  types  of speech act. There are 29 assertive of illocutionary acts, 14 directive of   illocutionary   acts,   15   expressive   of   illocutionary   acts,   1 commissive of illocutionary    acts.    Perlocutionary    acts    which occurs  between the speakers and the listener in the form of give statements, give questions, body language, expressions, and following the speaker’s direction. Keywords: Speech Act, Illocutionary Acts, Perlocutionary Acts, Hitam Putih, Trans 7

<p><em>This study aims to find out the types of directive speech act and politeness strategies</em><em> </em><em>used in Satu Jam Lebih Dekat talk show on TVOne. The method used in this article is descriptive</em><em> </em><em>method which describe the data systematically, factually, and accurately. The uninvolved</em><em> </em><em>conversation observation technique was used in collecting data in which this means that the present</em><em> </em><em>writer does not involve in the dialogues.</em><em> </em><em>Meanwhile, for data analysis technique, the present writer</em><em> </em><em>used pragmatic competence-in-dividing. The main theory of this article is the pragmatic theory of</em><em> </em><em>Searle’s Speech Act and Brown and Levinson’s Politeness Strategy. The results indicate that the types of directive speech act of Satu Jam Lebih Dekat program are to please, to request,</em><em> </em><em>to ask, to</em><em> </em><em>order, to invite, to forbid, to convince, to obligate, to show, to hope, to want, to warn, to advise, and</em><em> </em><em>to request. In addition, the politeness strategies are bald on</em><em> </em><em>record, positive politeness, negative</em><em> </em><em>politeness, and off record. <p>The objectives of this research are: to describe the forms of speech acts and to show the most dominant speech act and the reasons of its use; and to describe and define the politeness principle found in the the goods sale and purchase process at traditional markets in Surakarta.</p><p>This research used the descriptive qualitive method with the pragmatics approach. Its sources were conversations or dialogues. The data of the research were utterances and their contexts which contain speech acts and which apply the cooperative principle in the goods sale and purchase process at traditional markets in Surakarta, namely: <em>Pasar Gedhe</em> market, <em>Pasar Klewer</em> market, <em>Pasar Ledoksari</em> market, <em>Pasar Nusukan </em>market, and <em>Pasar Mojosongo</em> market. The collection of the data used the listening method. The data were collected through tapping, uninvolved conversation observation, recording technique, and note-taking techniques. They were analyzed by using the means-end techique. The result of the analysis was presented with informal and formal methods.</p><p>There are five types of speech act employed by the sellers and the buyers to express their intentions, namely: utterances, (b) verdictive utterances, (c) directive utterances, (d) commissive utterances, and phatic utterances<em>.</em> The most dominant speech act used in the goods sale and purchase process at traditional markets in Surakarta is commisive utterances as indicated by 88 data. In relation to the cooperative principle, in the goods sale and purchase process at traditional markets in Surakarta some speech acts adhere to the cooperative principle, but some violate it. The adherence to and violence of the cooperative principle are balanced in term of frequency i.e. 95 data for each. The latter is due to the intentions of the sellers and the buyers to show their politeness.</p><p>There are applications of the speech act theory, the cooperative principle, and the politeness in the dialogues between the sellers and the buyers in the the goods sale and purchase process at traditional markets in Surakarta</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Keywords:    </strong>Speech act, cooperative principle, sale and purchase process, pragmatics</p>

Tujuan yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk tindak tutur dan efek dari tindak tutur pada bak truk di Terminal Sisemut Ungaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode padan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui bahwa pada penggalan wacana pada bak truk di Terminal Sisemut Ungaran terdiri dari jenis tindak tutur konstatif, performatif, lokusi, ilokusi, perlokusi, representatif, direktif, ekspresif, komisif, langsung harfiah, langsung tak harfiah, tak langsung harfiah, tak langsung tak harfiah. Selain itu, efek yang ditimbulkan dari tindak tutur dalam penggalan tuturan wacana pada bak truk ditemukan dalam penelitian ini efek positif meliputi introspeksi, mendorong. melegakan, memaklumi, bersimpati, menurut. Efek negatif dalam penelitian ini meliputi tersinggung, dewasa.   The objectives in this research is to describe the from of speech acts and the effect of speech acts and the effect of speech acts on the tank truck in Terminal Sisemut Ungaran. Data analysis is done by method of padan. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the discourse fragments on the truck at the terminal of ungaran sisemut consisted of the type of speech act konstatif, performative, locution, ilocution, perlocution, representative, directive, exspressive, commissive, directly literal, directly not literally, not literally, not directly literal. Besides the effects of speech acts in discourse on the truck found positive effects include introspection, push, a relief, tolerance, sympathy, according. Negative effects in this study include offense, adult.

<p>This research is conducted based on two purposes; they are to identify the types of expressive speech act found in the statuses of the Facebook users, and to explain the modes of expressive utterance used in the statuses. Therefore, the data source is the social network that is Facebook and the data are the statuses of the Facebook users. The data are collected by using observational method, followed by non-participant observational technique and taking-note technique. The data analysis is based on pragmatic identity method proposed by Sudaryanto (2015) which is also supported by the theory of the types of expressive speech act by Ronan (2015), and theory about the modes of utterance from Alwi, et al (2000). The analysis result shows that there are fourteen types of expressive speech act in the statuses. They are the expression of agreement, disagreement, apology, gratitude, sorrow (sadness), exclamation (complaint), volition (hope), anger, disappointment, encouragement, satire, annoyance, pride, and congratulation. Meanwhile, the modes of expressive speech act that are used consist of declarative mode, interrogative mode, and exclamative mode. The importance of this research is to reveal or show that there is something else the Facebook users want to say behind their statuses. Sometimes, they do not really state what they mean in their statuses. They use indirect way and there lies the use of expressive speech act which can be stated in different way.</p>

An illocutionary act is a speech act that is usually identified by explicit performative sentences. The research on illocutionary acts in vlogs is an action that shows the meaning of speech during communication. This study aims to describe illocutionary acts on Fiersa Besari's vlog YouTube channel Jangan Lupa Senyum Part 1 along with its speech function. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. The form of research used here is qualitative research. The data source in this study is the vlog Jangan Lupa Senyum Part 1 on the Fiersa Besari YouTube channel. The data in this study are transcripts of conversations between characters in vlogs. Data collection techniques in research using the observation method and note-taking techniques. The findings in the research in this vlog were only 15 utterances of illocutionary speech acts. From the 15 utterances, 7 data on assertive illocutionary acts, 2 directive illocutionary acts, and 7 expressive illocutionary acts. From this research, it is expected that we can understand the function of illocutionary acts that are relevant to everyday life

The aim of this research are to explain the politeness of directive speech acts and politeness strategy, which supports the effectiveness of the talk show. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data resources are spoken data from three episodes of Satu Jam Lebih Dekat Talk Show on TV One. The technique of data sampling is determined by purposive sampling. The data validation technic in this research is triangulation technic. The result of the research shows that the types of directive speech acts in Satu Jam Lebih Dekat are to please, to request, to ask, to order, to invite, and to forbid. The politeness strategies of Satu Jam Lebih Dekat are bald on record, positive politeness, negative politeness, and off record. The politeness of directive speech acts supports the effectiveness of the talk show because of some factors, such as types of directive speech act and politeness strategy.

AbstrakArtikel ini membahas satu jenis strategi penerjemahan yang berfokus pada penerjemahan pada level kata yang bersifat non-equivalent menurut Mona Baker. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan jenis strategi penerjemahan apa saja dalam taksonomi tersebut  yang diaplikasikan pada penerjemahan kata-kata non-equivalent yang ditemukan pada novel-novel Indonesia sebagai bahasa sumber ke dalam bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa sasaran; dan juga untuk mengidentifikasi apakah pesan yang terdapat pada kata-kata bersifat non-equivalent pada bahasa sumber tersampaikan sama pada bahasa sasaran. Metode yang digunakan untuk membahas aplikasi strategi penerjemahan ini adalah metode kualitatif-komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kata-kata yang bersifat non-equivalent diterjemahkan dengan menggunakan 7 dari 8 strategi penerjemahan yang ada dan secara keseluruhan strategi penerjemahan untuk kata non-equivalent mampu menyampaikan pesan yang terdapat pada kata-kata non-equivalent tersebut meskipun tidak semua secara detil.Kata kunci: strategi penerjemahan, kata non-equivalent, strategi penerjemahan Mona Baker AbstractSpeech act is the activity of uttering speech with a specific purpose. Research on speech acts has been done by many researchers before, but the number is still limited that reviewed the speech acts during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study discussed the types of speech acts on Instagram social media during the Covid-19 period. This study used a pragmatic approach with Searle's speech act theory (1979). The method used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of data analysis, researcher found that 3 types of speech acts, namely 1) Directive speech acts with the implicature of persuading and encouraging; 2) Representative speech acts with the implicature of commanding and challenging; 3) Expressive speech acts with the implicature of encouraging.Keywords: Covid-19, Pragmatic, Speech act

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk tuturan ekspresif pengajar BIPA, dan sintaks pembelajaran dengan metode dengar pandang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitati. Sumber data penelitian adalah interaksi pembelajaran antara pengajar dan pemelajar BIPA dalam video Pesta Akademia 21 Tahun APPBIPA: Kelas Maya APPBIPA Jawa Timur dan Sumatra Utara. Adapun data penelitian berupa kalimat yang mencerminkan tuturan ekspresif pengajar BIPA dan sintaks pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara dengan metode dengar pandang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yang meliputi tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) bentuk tuturan ekspresif pengajar BIPA meliputi ucapan terima kasih, ucapan minta maaf, ucapan memuji, dan ucapan selamat. (2) Sintaks pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara dengan metode dengar pandang meliputi tahapan, penyajian konten oleh pengajar BIPA,  pengajar BIPA menjelaskan konten, pengulangan konten, dan pemelajar BIPA mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara.Katakunci: dengar pandang,  sintaks pembelajaran, tuturan ekspresif Abstract:This study aims to describe the expressive speech act of BIPA teachers and the syntax of learning using dengar pandang method. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. The source of research data was learning interaction between BIPA teachers and learners in the video Pesta Akademia 21 Tahun APPBIPA: Kelas Maya APPBIPA Jawa Timur dan Sumatra Utara. The data were sentences that show the BIPA teacher's expressive speech act and the syntax of learning speaking skills using the pandang dengar method. Data were collected by using observation technique. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman model, including the stage of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results showed: (1) the expressive speech acts of BIPA teachers include thanking, apologizing, praising, and congratulating. (2) The syntax of learning speaking skills using pandang dengar method including stages of content presentation by BIPA teachers, content explanation, content repetition, and BIPA learners develop their speaking skillsKeywords: dengar pandang, learning syntax, expressive speech
