One of the most important and influential educational components is the teacher. Because the teacher is a central figure in improving the quality of education in students. Teachers in carrying out their duties are required to carry out various conditions, duties and responsibilities as instructors, educators and trainers. With a variety of demands that are so big and heavy, teachers in reality sometimes pay little attention to and implement these demands, so that they will influence and reduce the quality of education, especially students. The concept of teacher exemplary in terms of Islamic education is very important and is a very influential method in the process of formation and development of students. And this has been applied by the Apostle to his friends. As an educator, the teacher who becomes a character, role model and identification for students and their environment the teacher must implement the quality of his personality which includes authority, responsibility, independence, discipline, code of ethics, compassion, and mingling with society in daily life both in school environment and outside the school environment. Thus, the example of the teacher implemented in daily life will lead to the achievement of the goal of Islamic education to the fullest. From the explanation above, this is where the importance of this theme is about the example of the teacher in the perspective of scientific education to be studied by the author in the study of literature as a consideration or reference for educators, especially teachers.

Abstract Education policy should be supported by educational actors (teachers) who are at the forefront. Efforts to improve the quality of education need to be done gradually based on the strategic plan. One of the efforts to improve teachers' professionalism is through the supervision of teaching. The principal in fostering teacher professionalism is by way of coaching, including (1) developing teachers’ knowledge by suporting them to persue higher education, (2) developing teaching strategy by helping them make learning device, and (3) developing teacher code of ethics by providing role model. ملخص سياسة التربية لابد أن يؤيدها عامل التربية الذي يوجد في المقدمة وهو المدرس الذي يمارس عملية التعليم .ومحاولة ترقية جودة التربية لابد أن تنفذ تدريجيا معتمدا على الخطة الاستراتيجية .ومحاولة ترقية كفاءة المدرس تكون بوسيلة إشراف التعليم .ويمكن أن يقوم مدير المدرسة بتنمية كفائة المدرس عن طريق )إشراف كفاءة المدرس العلمية، وذلك عن طريق 1 : الإشراف، )2 . تشجيعه في ترقية مستوى دراسته بمواصلة دراسته إلى المستوى الأعلى إشراف استراتيجية التعليم، وذلك عن طريق مساعدته في إيجاد والوسائل )إشراف في الناحية السلوكية للمدرس، وذلك أن يكون مدير 3 .التعليمية المدرسة قدوة لغيره. Abstrak Kebijakan pendidikan harus ditopang oleh pelaku pendidikan yang berada di front terdepan yakni guru melalui interaksinya dalam pendidikan. Upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan perlu dilakukan secara bertahap dengan mengacu pada rencana strategis. Salah satu upaya peningkatan profesional guru adalah melalui supervisi pengajaran. Kepala sekolah dalam membina profesionalisme guru adalah dengan cara pembinaan, meliputi; 1) Pembinaan keilmuan guru, yaitu salah satunya dengan cara mersupport/mendorong peningkatan kualifikasi guru untuk meningkatkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi 2) Pembinaan strategi pengajaran, yaitu dengan cara membantu guru dalam pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran. Dan 3) Pembinaan kode etik guru, yaitu bahwa, kepala sekolah dapat di jadikan teladan.

The leadership is needed by Islamic education those who have a strong soul and aware that education is required by a nation. It is not uncommon for Islamic education leaders to carry out their duties only at the level of implementation and administration of government policies. The leader of Islamic education must be someone who fully understands the Leadership Concept and has a vision for the future and has the desire to bring the organization forward and become an agent capable of answering the challenges of changing times because Islamic education institutions themselves are dynamic institutions and have an enormous responsibility for all parties, especially Religion, society, and the State. The success of the school in achieving the goal is one of the primary keys, namely the principal. In achieving the goal of an Islamic education institution that becomes the guide of the success of the headmaster, it is determined by the management's ability and leadership capacity. For the educational environment, educational leadership is a leadership that focuses on improving the quality of education. Besides the quality, leadership is also needed to increase teachers and administrator performance and school environment.

The article is about arts education in Canadian schools, used as a tool for the development of students’ key competences. It is proven that arts education fulfils a lot of functions (develops individual capabilities, provides right to education and cultural participation, improves quality of education and the expression of cultural diversity) and has various benefits (intrinsic and extrinsic) for people. It contributes to overall development of students (moral, physical, cognitive, emotional etc.), enhances their motivation and academic success. The article shows that arts education is a powerful tool for developing Essential Graduation Learning- some of the key competences for school graduates: aesthetic expression, citizenship, communication, personal development, problem solving, technological competence, spiritual/moral development.

The problem in this research is the head of the school can manage all the components or resources that exist in the school environment with good so thatstudent achievement continues to rise in academic and non academic. The purpose of this study is: (1) Describe and analyze so that the head of school in implementing managerial competencies in SMP Islam Al Azhar 15 Cilacap. (2) Describe and analyze the response of the teachers and education personnel  of the competence of the managerial head of school in SMP Islam Al Azhar 15 Cilacap. (3) Describe and analyze the contraints of the head of school in implementing mangerial competencies in SMP Islam Al Azhar 15 Cilacap. The results of this study are: (1) The head of the SMP Islam Al Azhar 15 Cilacap has been making efforts to utilize existing resources in the school environment both from human resources, school facilities and infrastructure, financial resources of the school, and the advancement of technology in the field of information and communication, which includes 16 type of competence; (2) support of personal is realized by setting up the school adminstration well in order to improve the quality of education, as for the support of educators is realized with:  create lesson plans, implement learning process and assesment and evaluation; The head of SMP Islam Al Azhar 15 Cilacap get the constrains in implementing  managerial competencies, namely limitations in manging the school’s finances.

Abstract Education is the way to prepare the next generation with excellence and competitiveness and Islamic education is no exception. Islamic education, which aims to form the perfect man (insan kamil), is faced with complicated problems of globalization era characterized by the transformation of information. Islam must dominate the quality of education, to be both resistant and flexible with the times. To form a solid Islamic education takes various steps. Reconstruction of the essence and urgency of Islamic education is a way to drown out the dichotomy of science, since all sciences, according to Islam, comes from one authority. The concept of pluralism education should be done so that Muslims are not conflicted in the belief monopolistic practices. By understanding and accepting diversity, the nature of tolerance and inclusivity have been more mature so that Muslims are able to exchange thoughts for the future progress. The term "reconstruction" in this paper indicates that there has been existing paradigm used in Islamic education. However, this paradigm must now be designed or renewed so that Islamic education is able to build a democratic, religious, innovative, and ready person to face the challenges of the transformation of great and rapid information. Keywords: Islamic Education, Essence and Urgency of Islamic Education, Information Transformation, Islamic Education and Information Transformation Abstrak   Pendidikan adalah cara untuk menyiapkan generasi yang unggul dan memiliki daya saing. Tak terkecuali bagi pendidikan Islam. Pendidikan Islam yang bertujuan untuk menbentuk insan kamil dihadapkan pada permasalahan pelik akan derasnya globalisasi yang ditandai dengan era transformasi informasi. Mutu pendidikan Islam harus mendominasi, agar bersifat resisten dan fleksibel dengan perkembangan zaman. Untuk membentuk pendidikan Islam yang kokoh diperlukan berbagai macam langkah. Rekonstruksi essensi dan urgensitas pendidikan Islam merupakan cara untuk meredam dikotomi ilmu, karena pada hakikatnya semua ilmu menurut Islam bersumber dari satu otoritas. Pendidikan yang berwawasan pluralisme perlu dilakukan agar umat Islam tidak terbentur dalam praktik monopoli keyakinan. Dengan memahami dan menerima keberagaman, maka sifat toleransi dan inklusif semakin matang sehingga umat Islam mampu melakukan tukar pikiran demi kemajuan bersama. Term “rekonstruksi” di dalam paper ini mengindikasikan bahwa sebelumnya telah ada paradigma yang digunakan dalam pendidikan Islam. Hanya saja, paradigma tersebut kini harus dirancang atau diperbaharui kembali agar pendidikan Islam mampu membangun masyarakat yang demokratis, religius, inovatif, dan siap untuk menghadapi tantangan transformasi informasi yang begitu hebat dan pesat.   Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Islam, Essensi dan Urgensitas Pendidikan Islam, Transformasi Informasi, Pendidikan Islam dan Transformasi Informasi

Whether or not Islamic education is highly dependent on the quality of leadership that is in it, an Islamic education leader must be able to direct his lead to achieve educational goals. In this journal discusses Al-Ghazali's thoughts about ideal leadership in Islamic education. This study uses literature review through primary sources from Al-Ghazali's thought books and secondary from various sources, then analyzed and criticized using content analysis. The research results obtained are that in substance the leadership must always aim to achieve the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Al-Ghazali always puts on all activities aimed at achieving the pleasure of Allah Almighty. There are four basic components of personal leaders in the world of Islamic education. First he must have managerial skills that are able to make planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. Second, he must have a trustful and responsible nature. Third, he must be a role model, which is a good example so that his leadership feels comfortable carrying out his orders. The fourth is always in running the leadership bound by syara law.

In the article the creation of the system of monitoring of quality of training of specialists is investigated. The priority directions investigating eff ectiveness of professional education as system training of the popular expert are considered. The purpose of carrying out monitoring of level of achievements of students which is expressed in creation of the mechanism of management of the system of researches of educational achievements directed to reliable estimation and development of students is formulated. On the basis of the analysis of the generalized, private, special and marked out results received during monitoring optimum expansion of quantitative and qualitative criteria, the humanitarian and natural-science methods of a research providing a combination and comparison of the results received by various researches is off ered. The need of introduction of new criteria is proved. The useful recommendations submitted on a solution of the problem of formation of the procedure of monitoring of level of achievements of students as indicator of quality of education are off ered. The importance of work consists in a possibility of synthesis of experience for the purpose of use of secondary professional education by educational institutions.

Educational institutions in which there is an educational process, have a function not only in the aspect of developing science, but also have a mission to improve the quality of personality through good character. In this position, the teacher has a role in instilling inclusive values (tasamuh) in the learning process that can be applied in everyday life as well as the process in developing the potential of their students. Each educational institution or each teacher will have different tasamuh values in each habituation or teaching. Get used to communicating with others using the language of unity, namely Indonesian, helping each other, not blaming others, especially fellow Muslims, especially other religions, and respecting different principles and respecting others. This study focuses on the views of Islamic Education teachers about the concept of tasamuh and the actualization of the tasamuh attitude of Islamic Education teachers in the learning process at SMK NU Lamongan, MTs Putra Putri Lamongan, SD NU Banat-Banin Lamongan. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. This study shows that teachers play a role in developing tolerant attitudes to students in the school environment, social groups and even the community, through habituation and learning Islamic Education. The teacher's perspective on inclusive attitudes also plays a role in shaping the personality of students to be more open and respect all differences.

As an effort to improve the quality of human resources, the development of human resources was important for the goverment to focus on improving the quality of education by provision learning processes with quality education personnel. This article aimed to discussed the principle management of educational staff of the Al-Qur'an perspective. This research was literature studies, namely by examining journals, books, research reports. The result showed that : (1) the Principle of Tawheed, covering the principle of unity of direction and unity of command; (2) Principles of justice and prosperity; (3) The principle of deliberation; (4) Principles of efficiency, effectiveness and productivity; (5) Disilpin principle, integrity and loyalty; (6) The principle of division of authority and responsibility; (7) Principle of Ukhuwah. An understanding of the management principle of the Al-Qur'an perspective in the management of Islamic education institutions will be able to contribute positively, including planning of education personnel, the process of recruitment, selection and placement, and the development of education personnel. The aim of this paper was to examine the quality of the development of ecological awareness through Islamic Education at schools, i.e. based on Islamic Education teachers' stances to determine the extent to which ecology-related content in elementary school textbooks stimulates the development of students' ecological awareness, and to examine the teachers’ attitudes towards the factors of influence and school activities promoting the development of students' ecological awareness. A theoretical analysis method and a descriptive analytical survey method were used. A survey technique was used to gather data. When it comes to research instruments, the Ecology-related Questionnaire for Teachers (UpN - Kundačina, 1998) and the Ecology Values Scale (SV-3, Kundačina, 1998) were used. The research sample consisted of 120 elementary and 120 high school teachers. The results showed that the teachers found the content in the Islamic religion textbooks not adequately designed to support the development of students' ecological awareness, and confirmed that the teachers do not assign equal importance to all environmental factors of influence and school activities encouraging the development of students' ecological awareness: the greatest influence on young people's attitudes towards ecology exerting family, followed by school, the mass media, peers, while the least influence being exercised by the students' spare time. In conclusion, the need to intensify Islamic educational school activities developing the quality of students’ ecological awareness is highlighted.
