The target of managing `ustāż (Islamic Educators) at the Ummul Quro Al-Islami, Modern Islamic Boarding School (PMUQI) is not clearly defined. Teachers who teach are often not in accordance with postgraduate qualifications. Teacher salaries are often deducted. This study aims to reveal the processes of recruitment, selection, placement, training, assessment and salary/compensation of educators in PMUQI Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative method. The results of the study show that (1) the recruitment of educators always considers the increase in the number of santri and the number of classes each year, prioritizing alumni; (2) selection is done by collecting administrative files and interviews. There is no test in the selection of teaching staff; (3) placement non test is adjusted to educational qualifications and the ability of educators; (4) training and development are carried out in Islamic boarding schools and madrasas; (5) performance appraisal is carried out by establishing an Honorary Board of Teachers (HBT) and giving performance assessment report cards from foundations and pesantren, (6) giving salary to educators based on length of service, structural positions, teaching hours and educational qualifications.

The quality of human resources is one of the supporting factors to improve the productivity of the performance of an agency or organization. Therefore, competent human resources can support the level of performance, with the performance appraisal will be known that the achievements of each employee, this makes it easy for agencies or organizations to consider in determining the best employees. Decision Support System is a system that is able to manage data and provide the best alternative solutions. The selection of outstanding employees is determined based on criteria and weights, namely: the level of attendance, accuracy of work assignments, leadership, and length of service. Furthermore, the data from the employee is processed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method gives a weighting to each of the criteria used to produce the best alternative value. With this system, it is expected to be able to assist in faster decision making in high achieving employees within the TP 45 Negara Foundation.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to reveal how the quality of education in this Islamic boarding school is, particularly related to education facilities, curriculum and strategies of education quality improve­ments. This study used the qualitative method. Findings of this study are: first, education infrastructure and facilities are relatively complete and adequate, which are supported by the atmosphere of the Islamic boarding school that is full of simplicity and modesty by habituation in implementing clean and healthy lifestyle. Second, the tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion)-based curriculum compiled by the Islamic boarding school occupies the same degree (equal) to the curriculum prepared by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, so that both tafaqquh fi-al din (understanding of religion) studies and general studi­es have high electability, which is able to increase the quality of education and also generates interest and motivation of the people (parents) to put their children to the Islamic boarding school. Third, education in the Islamic boarding school has a strong independency because it is supported by substantial financial resources.AbstrakTujuan tulisan ini untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana mutu pendidikan di pondok pesantren ini, khususnya berkaitan dengan sarana pendidikan, kurikulum dan sterategi peningkatan mutu pendidik­an. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil temuan studi ini adalah: Pertama, sarana dan fasilitas pendidikan relatif lengkap dan memadai, ini didukung oleh suasana kehidupan pondok pesan­tren yang penuh kesederhanaan dan kebersahajaan dengan pembiasaan menerapkan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Kedua, kurikulum yang berbasis tafaqquh fi-al din yang disusun oleh pondok pesantren ini menempati derajat yang sama (equal) dengan kurikulum yang disusun Kementerian Agama, sehinga baik kajian tafaqquh fi al-din maupun pelajaran umum memiliki electabilitas yang tinggi, hal ini mampu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan sekaligus membangkitkan animo dan motivasi masyarakat (orangtua) untuk memasukkan anaknya ke pesantren ini. Ketiga, penyelenggaraan pendidikan di pon­dok pesantren ini memiliki kemandirian yang kuat, karena didukung oleh sumber dana yang besar.

The purposeof this studyis to describe the morphological and         Syntactic interference contained in a collection of short stories Biarkan Aku Memulai work Nurul F. Huda. Sociolinguistics is the study of language variation and use in society. Interference is the event of the use of language elements of one into the other language elements that occur in the speakers themselves. This research uses descriptive qualitative method because to describe the actual realityin order to obtainan accurateand objective. Qualitative descriptive methods were used to analyzethe elements ofa word orphrase that incorporated elements of other languages with the analysis and description of the formulation of the problem is the answer. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, the determination ofthe object of research, the selection of short stories.Based on the analysis of the data in this study can be found that there are six forms of interference morphology, namely (1) the prefix nasal N-sound, (2) the addition of the suffix, (3) the exchange prefix, (4) exchange suffixes, (5) exchange konfiks, (6) removal affixes. While the syntactic interference only on the words and phrases in a sentence. The results of the study it can be concluded that the interference morphology more common than syntactic interference.

This research article highlights the context within which IT organizations has grown in India and the extent of human resource management (HRM) practices and systems practiced in this sector. Using a mixed method approach involving both in-depth discussion with senior HR executives and self-completing questionnaires, the data have been collected from selected ITorganizations in Chennai. The results emphasize the way the specific HRM practices such as selection and recruitment, work environment, performance appraisal, training and development and compensations are implemented. The survey suggests the existence of formal, structured, and rationalized HRM systems in IT organizations. A number of insights related to HRM practices are shared by the HR senior executives interviewed peeling more light on the functioning of the IT companies and their challenges. The analysis provides original and useful information to both academicians and HR practitioners and gives ideas for further research in the area of HRM practices in IT organizations in India.Selection and recruitment, Training and development and compensations are having significant and positive impact on Job satisfaction.

This study aims to provide an overview of the process of cultural change through total quality management in Islamic perspective carried out at Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School. The method of the study is qualitative method by using in-depth interview techniques with informants. This research was conducted at the Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School, Depok City, West Java. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis with the stages of reducing data, triangulating data, presenting data descriptively, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results showed that cultural change through total quality management at Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School was seen from 7 focuses. The focus of planning for Islamic boarding schools is still focused on current conditions. The focus of the organization is participatory by involving all individuals to improve the quality of education and to develop Islamic boarding schools. The focus of control is still in the form of monitoring and supervising each section based on the existing SOP. The focus of communication has been two-way communication. The focus of the decision is still reactive and not based on well planning even though decisions are made based on deliberation and consensus. The focus of functional management has not been fully integrated. The focus of quality management is still reactive because it is still in the stage of finding the best and most suitable method to be applied in Islamic boarding schools. Therefore, the process of cultural change at Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School has begun to occur.

The aim of this article is to describe the writing of Muṣḥāf al-Qur'ān Sciences Education Foundation (YPIIQ) Wonosobo still written by hand in this sophisticated era. The type of this research uses the field research by a qualitative method approach which finds out the phenomenon and analyse the existing data. The process of collecting data uses interview, observation and documentation techniques, and it has found some interesting things. Firstly, the emergence of the tradition of writing Muṣḥāf by hand and giant size departing from KH. Muntaha's idea, he is the caretaker of the Al-Asy'ariyyah Taḥfῑż al-Qur’ān Islamic Boarding School, Kalibeber, Mojotengah, Wonosobo, Central of Java. The devotion of KH. Muntaha Al-Hafidz to al-Qur'ān made him to finally realise the grand Qur'ān  writing project. KH. Muntaha al-Hafidz also wants to continue writing Al-Qur’ān  that had been written by his grandfather, namely KH. Abdurrahim (1860-1916 AD). Secondly, before writing, there are certain provisions that must be carried out by writers namely they must be in a sacred condition when writing the muṣḥāf,  do the sunnah prayers of two raka'at and  write it accompanied by fasting except several days that are forbidden to fast. Thirdly, the strong factor that encourages the tradition of writing muṣḥāf at the Qur’ān Sciences Education Foundation (YPIIQ) Wonosobo is still being carried out till now because of devotion to teachers and wants to always glorify the muṣḥāf.

This article aims to determine how important the vocational skill education for students in the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School of Kersamanah Garut. The background of this research is that ideally the person who was educated both formal and non-formal schools at least have the skills of life that it faces, especially in the world of work. In fact there are a lot of unemployment among educated either issued by the formal and non-formal education is still unused and still many educational institutions interventioned with offices and civil service, and there are still doubts in the world of work on the output issued boarding. Therefore it is necessary to study "Education Vocational Skills (Case Study In Darusaalam Islamic Boarding School Kersamanah Garut)", This study aims to describe and analyze the development of vocational skills in applied as future supplies students. It uses the method to achieve the goal of research is to reserch descriptive qualitative method. Data retrieval is done by interview, observation and documentation. Results from this study showed that the Darussalam Islamic Boarding school is a boarding school that equip students with vocational skills through extra-curricular activities in the form of education life skills oriented vocational education skills such as : organizational and clerical schools , or in the form of a course in which there are education vocational skills such as : automotive , sewing and culinary art , or other training by bringing in trainers from outside schools , in order to motivate students to become productive graduates who are able to enter public life line

Many studies on the implementation of quality management programs were carried out by previous researchers. However, the study on the soft or human factors in the implementation of quality management programs is still poorly explored. Therefore, this article aims to analyze soft factors in the implementation of quality management programs at Selangor Islamic Religious Council or Majlis Agama Islam Selangor (MAIS). This study uses a qualitative method involving MAIS as a case study. Semi-structured interviews were used as a data collection method and supported by relevant documents collected from MAIS. A total of fifteen informants comprising top management and MAIS officers were interviewed to obtain in-depth information on the subjects studied. The findings reveal that there are six soft factors emerged in the implementation of quality management programs at MAIS namely leadership, training and development, teamwork, customer focus, Syura and rewards. This study demonstrates that soft factors has helped facilitate the implementation of quality management programs in MAIS. The results of this study can be used as guidance by managers in public or corporate organizatons in their efforts to implement quality management programs effectively.

Abstrak Kegiatan dakwah yang dilakukan kelompok Jamaah Tabligh dan Pesantren Hidayatullah di Tanah Air telah banyak ditulis. Artikel ini hanya menambahkan saja satu lagi penelitian tentang kiprah kedua institusi tersebut, terutama jejak-jejaknya di wilayah perbatasan Skow Papua, yang berbatasan langsung dengan wilayah Papua New Guinea (PNG). Dai-dai dari kedua lembaga tersebut terus berkiprah dan belakangan memungkinkan terjadinya konversi warga PNG ke Islam.  Tulisn ini juga untuk menambahkan literatur tentang jarangnya penelitian kegiatan dakwah di perbatasan. Paper dari hasil riset lapangan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan tentang seberapa jauh dakwah kedua institusi tersebut di kawasan perbatasan Skouw, termasuk capaian keberhasilan dan hambatan-hambatannya. Temuan penting dari riset ini antara lain, gerakan dakwah yang dilakukan oleh lembaga-lembaga seperti Jamaah Tabligh ini ternyata menyuguhkan bukan semata persoalan gerakan kesalehan berdasarkan anjuran agama, namun ternyata juga menyajikan jalinan kerjasama dan juga solusi untuk mencapai level kehidupan lebih baik, terutama untuk kalangan muallaf. Kata Kunci : Jamaah Tabligh, Pesantren Hidayatullah, Dakwah, Rute Perdagangan, hambatan budaya   Abstract Proselityzing activities carried out by Jamaat Tabligh and Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School in Indonesia has been widely published elsewhere. This article is only to add one more study about these two Islamic group that deals chiefly with their specific proselytization activities in Skouw border Jayapura, Papua. This gate splits between Indonesia and Papua New Guinea (PNG). Dai or Islamic proselytization activists of both group continue to keep their dakwah activity that possibles to convert local PNG people into Islam. This paper is based on field research which is approached by qualitative method. Its aim is to respond the question to what extend missionarism of both Islamic religious group at Skow border area, what are achieved so far and what challenges to it. The essential result of this research shows that Islamic missionarism of both group focusing not merely on pietic movement based on relegious tenets, but also stressing on networking between Indonesian and PNG people. Also, it shows the problem solving for gaining economic wellfare, especially for new Islamic converters (muallaf). This study aims to see the potential of students in digital literacy transformation entering the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 at the Modern Muhammadiyah Boarding School Sleman Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation and interviews with 10 students. The results of this study found that students have mastered the technology of digital literacy transformation of students in the potential of mastering digital literacy. This is because Islamic boarding schools still limit the length of time they use technology. Although this pesantren has used modern pesantren. Pesantren leaders must balance religious education with technology so that graduates are not less competitive when they enter tertiary institutions and the world of work. For future researchers, it will be deeper in digging up information and using more samples.
