Employee performance has a contribution to the development of a company. The personal performance of an employee can influence by competency and work motivation factors. This research was arranged based on theoretical analysis as well as empirical studies. The research aims to define a structured thinking concept about the relationship between competency variables, work motivation, and employee performance. Worker performance is the result of efforts achieved by a person or group who work in a company. Then competence leads to the employee’s deep and inherent personality. Work motivation is the driving force that makes an employee use his/her abilities to complete the works. Further research can examine conceptual frameworks in business, manufacturing, and service organizations.

Factors such as work motivation and job satisfaction are essential to each other must be present in a company for employee performance. Work motivation and job satisfaction will increase employee commitment. These will enable the organization to be more productive and deliver excellence when employees are more interested in their work. The result is higher in quality, and employees are more fulfilled. Hence, the paper explores the difference in the extent of work motivation and job satisfaction of employees when grouped according to demographics such as age, sex, educational attainment, years of service, employment status, and position. Likewise, it determined the relationship between employees' work motivation and job satisfaction for the Year 2019-2020.

This research is aimed at understanding the relationship of leadership style and compensation on employee performance at PT SSBP considering that the two independent variables are the main factors that determines the success of a company as general as well as PT SSBP. The research obtained data from 144 respondents out of 210 total employees. A questionnaire was prepared to catch their perception on leadership style and compensation and how they affect their performance in the company they work with. From the data obtained and the analysis result shows that the relationship and the contribution of leadership style and compensation on the performance of employees is strong and significant, either partially or simultaneously. Therefore as managerial instruments, leadership style and compensation are extremely important factors to be considered and continuously updated in order to keep and maintain employees motivation that in turn will boost their performance,

PT Bandar Abadi Shipyard is a company engaged in manufacturing and the company is working to improve the quality and quantity of production in the ship building and ship repair. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of organizational culture variables and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Bandar Abadi Shipyard. The study population was 50 people and the samples used are saturated sampling technique. This study using multiple linear regression data analysis with the help of computer software SPSS version 20.00. Analysis of the data used to test the validity and reliability levels, classical assumptions and hypothesis testing. Results from this study indicate that the organizational culture (X1), and work motivation (X2) positive and significant impact on employee performance (Y) and simultaneously the organizational culture (X1) and work motivation (X2) positive and significant impact on employee performance (Y)

This study aims to examine the effect of compensation, environment and leadership style on employee morale and performance through study motivation at PT. EX. This study used a sample of 95 respondents, namely employees of the production section of PT. EX. which is taken using non-probability sampling techniques from the population or production employees. The data analysis technique used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Square (PLS) approach using the Smart PLS version 3.0 software. The results showed that: Compensation and work environment have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, compensation and work environment have a positive and significant effect on morale, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and employee morale. Leadership style has no effect on work motivation, employee performance and morale. Compensation and work environment have no effect on employee performance. Compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work motivation, work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through work motivation, compensation has a positive and significant effect on work motivation through work motivation, the environment has a positive and significant effect on morale through work motivation. In addition, motivation cannot mediate the relationship between leadership style and employee performance, and motivation cannot mediate the relationship between leadership style and morale.

The purpose of this research is to explain the analysis of the influence of work discipline and work motivation of Jambi employees (CV. Adeeva Construction Study) simultaneously and partially this type of research used in this research is associative research which aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The variables referred to in this study are variable X1 (Work Motivation), variable X2 (Work Discipline) and Y (Performance). The results of the study based on the results of multiple linear regressions proved that the variables of Performance, Discipline, and Motivation had a significant effect on Employee Performance (CV. Adeeva Construction Study). Based on the research results that are expected to be input, PT Adeeva should make performance performance a major part of the company so that the company's activities can run even better. And the need for motivation to all employees to work better in the future by giving rewards to employees who excel in order to motivate all employees to work better.

This research was conducted at PT Sejahtera Indobali Trada Tabanan Branch. The number of samples taken is 54 employees, with the method used is a saturated sample. Data collection was obtained from the results of interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used the classic assumption test, path analysis (path analysis), sobel test and VAF test. The results of the study are career development has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation. Career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect in mediating the relationship between career development and employee performance. Employee performance is a measure of the quality of human resources in a company, because employee performance is one important factor for the achievement of a company's goals. Employee performance can be influenced by several factors, such as training, work environment and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of training and work environment to employee’s performance with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as the intervening. This research was conducted at the Semarang City Education Department by taking a sample of 115 respondents registered as active officials of the Semarang City Education Department. Data collection method is done through a questionnaire. Data analysis uses path analysis. The results of the study concluded that there is an influence of training and work environment on OCB, the influence of OCB on employee performance and OCB is able to mediate the relationship between training and work environment on employee performance.

Performance appraisal is an activity controlling the management of a company. This study is an empirical study that aims to determine the effect of performance appraisal and promotion of their work motivation and their impact on employee performance at Serambi Mekkah University. The research was conducted at Serambi Mekkah University. The populations in this study were all employees at Serambi Mekkah University which amounts to 105 people. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires. Primary data were analyzed with path analysis with the aid of SPSS software. The results showed that, performance appraisal and significant positive effect on work motivation. Performance appraisal and promotion of positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at Serambi Mekkah University. In addition, work motivation can enhance the role of employees in Serambi Mekkah University.

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara beban kerja dan kerjasama tim terhadap kinerja Pegawai dengan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening. Jumlah populasi sejumlah 175. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan 158 responden yaitu dari Pegawai Negeri pada Polri di Bagsumda Polres Jajaran Polda Jateng. Alat analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen (beban kerja) mempengaruhi kinerja Pegawai. Motivasi kerja terbukti sebagai variabel mediasi antara beban kerja terhadap kinerja Pegawai.</p><p>This study aims to determine the relationship between workload and teamwork on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable. The total population is 175. The sample of this study used 158 respondents, namely from the Civil Servants at the National Police in Bagsumda, Central Java Regional Police. The analytical tool used in this study is SEM. The results showed that the independent variable (workload) affected the employee's performance. Work motivation is proven as a mediating variable between workload and employee performance.</p><p> </p>

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on employee performance. The effect of organizational commitment mediates the relationship between work motivation on employee performance and job satisfaction on employee performance and psychological capital, which moderates the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance. The object of this research is the employees of the state civil apparatus. They work in government agencies in the education sector of the Directorate of Senior High Schools in Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with one hundred and ten respondents, sampling using a saturated sample technique, and a questionnaire as a measuring tool. Data analysis used the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to test the model's suitability in this study with the help of the SmartPLS version 3 application. The results of this study conclude that work motivation, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction affect employee performance, organizational commitment can mediate the relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance but cannot mediate the relationship between work motivation and employee performance, and psychological capital can moderate the relationship between job satisfaction with employee performance.
