Breast milk contains more than a hundred kind of nutrient that needed for baby’s growth and development. But now theres so many mother that didn’t give breast milk because they didn’t produce enough. One of the method that can increase the poduction of breast milk is with giving the breast feeding mother katu’s leaf. This research head for analyze influence of consumption the leaf of Sauropus Androgynus (L) Merr (Katu) that related with raising prolactin hormones of the breast feeding mother and babies development in Wonokromo Surabaya district. This research is Quasi Experiment research with using the post test-only control group design. The population that being the target for this research is all of the breast feeding mother that consume katu’s leaf as many as 18 and 6 people as control. The research unit as many as 24 respondent obtained with using simple random sampling technique. Free variable is extract of katu’s leaf and dependent variabel is prolactin hormones and baby’s development. Collect the data with using check list, and examination of blood samples with pra screening of development questionnaire Result of One Way Anova test between consume katu’s leaf extract with the level of prolactin hormones obtained a significant difference (p = 0,000). The conclusion of this research is the treatment 2 and 3 have the significant result. To increase the production of breast milk and baby’s development maximally the breast feeding mother be expected to consume the katu’s leaf 2 until 3 times a day.

Background: Fatigue in pregnant women can lead to cesarean delivery, also triggering problems during pregnancy, childbirth, and the puerperium. Therefore, there is a need for non-pharmacological interventions to reduce the level of fatigueObjective: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of giving progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) and aromatherapy to complaints of fatigue in pregnant womenMethods: This is a quasi-experiment with pretest and post-test with control group design. The sampling technique was simple random sampling, consisted of 52 respondents who were divided into two groups. The statistical using a paired t-test and independent t-testResults: After the administration of PMR and aromatherapy interventions, the fatigue score decreased significantly from 5.15 to 3.15; p<0.001. In the control group, the fatigue score was reduced from 5.04 to 4.00; p<0.0001. There was a significant difference in fatigue scores in the intervention and control groups (3.15 ± 1.592 vs. 4.00 ± 0.980; p<0.05).Conclusion: Combination progressive muscle relaxation exercises and aromatherapy are effective in reducing fatigue scores in pregnant women

This research is aimed to know (1) the difference of the students’ cognitive study results that used integrated-interconnected (confirmative models) physics module and physics module of heat. (2) the effect of using integrated-interconnected (confirmative models) physics module concering about the student’ cognitive study result. (3) the effect of using integrated-interconnected (confirmative models) physics module concering about the student’ interest in learning. This is a quasi-experiment research with Matching Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The variables consist of free variable that has the integrated-interconnected (confirmative models) physics module and bound variable that has the students’ interest and their study result. The population are all of 11th grade students of MAN 1 Bandar Lampung. Taking sample in this research is done by simple random sampling technique, so XI MIA2 is chosen as the experimental class and XI MIA3 is chosen as the controlling class. Instrument used in this research consist of pretest and posttes question, quesionnaire of the students’ interest and respons in learning. The technique of analysing data use T-test and simple regression analysis. The results of this research show that (1) there is a defference of the students’ cognitive study results that used integrated-interconnected (confirmative models) physics module and physics physics module of heat (tcalculation = 2,365 > ttable = 2,023, so Ha accepted). (2) there is a effect of using integrated-interconnected (confirmative models) physics module concering about the student’ cognitive study result with coefficient of regression 1,082. (3) there is a effect of using integrated-interconnected (confirmative models) physics module concering about the student’ interest in learning with coefficient of regression 0,624.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan problem solving antara anak yang distimulasi menggunakan media busy book dengan anak yang distimulasi dengan metode konvensional kelompok A Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan non-equivalen post test only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok A Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2018/2019, yang berjumlah 157 anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah eksperimen pada kelompok A1 TK Santa Maria yang berjumlah 20 anak dan kontrol pada kelompok A1 di TK Lab Undiksha yang berjumlah 17 anak. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 5% dan dk = 2,03 dengan demikian thitung>ttabel (15,882>2,03) maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak sehingga hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan problem solving antara anak yang distimulasi menggunakan media busy book dengan anak yang distimulasi dengan metode konvensional kelompok A Gugus VII Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Dengan demikian media busy book berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan problem solving anak kelompok A Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Kecamatan Buleleng tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Kata-kata kunci : Kemampuan Problem Solving, Busy Book, Media Pembelajaran, Anak Usia DiniAbstractThe purpose of the study is to determine the significant differences in problem solving abilities between the children who were stimulated by busy book learning media and the children who were stimulated by conventional method in group A Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Buleleng Sub-district in academic year 2018/2019. This study used a quasi-experimental with non-equivalent design with post-test only control group design. The population of this study was all children in group A Taman Kanak-kanak Gugus VII Buleleng Sub-district in academic year 2018/2019 which consisted of 157 children. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling technique. There are 20 children in experiment group in group A1 at TK Santa Maria and 17 children in control in group A1 at TK Lab Undiksha. The hypothesis testing used t-test with a significant level of 5% and dk = 2.03, thus tcount> ttable (15,882> 2.03) then H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected so the results showed that there were the significant differences in problem solving between the children who were stimulated by busy book learning media with the children who were stimulated by conventional method in group A Gugus VII Buleleng Sub-district in academic year 2018/2019. The research aimed to find out the effectiveness of describing and drawing picture technique in teaching transactional speaking at the second semester students of English Education Department at State Islamic University of Alauddin Makassar. This research employed quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design with pre-test and post-test. The population of this research was the second semester students of English education department at State Islamic University of Alauddin Makassar. The population was selected by using purposive sampling technique to determine the sample for experimental class and control class. The instrument used in this research was test. The test was used in the pre-test and post-test. The data indicated that there was a significant difference between the students’ post-test in the experimental class and post-test in the control class. Based on the findings of the research, the researchers concluded that describing and drawing picture technique was effective in teaching transactional speaking. This study aims to analyze the improvement and profile of students' conceptual understanding through a local wisdom-based inquiry model. This research used mixed method with a sequential explanatory design. The population in this study were all class 5 students from six elementary schools in Mayong Jepara. The selection of sample of this study used simple random sampling technique. The study has two sample of class 5 of SD Negeri 2 and SD Negeri 3 Mayong Lor with 27 student and 30 student as the sample, respectively. The first stage is a quantitative method in the form of a true-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group design type. Data collection was used test, to know the understanding of the student on heat transfer concept. Then completed using documentation and interview for qualitative stage. Then for data analysis was used n-gain test and description according to Miles and Hubermans models. Based on the conceptual understanding score shows the average score obtained by the experimental class student was increased from 51.48 to 77.41 and the control class obtained an average increase from 52.33 to 66.00. The results of the average difference test of students’ conceptual understanding show that the sig. (2-tailed) value generated is 0.001 < 0.05, it indicates H0 is rejected, which means that there is a difference in conceptual understanding between the inquiry class and the local wisdom-based inquiry class. The profile of concept understanding on each indicator of class 5 students on the theme of heat and its transfer through the inquiry model as a whole is included in the good category with a percentage of 79.32 and the results of the interviews showed that students are easier to understand the material conveyed through direct observation to the roof tile manufacturing company.

The demands of professional teachers to design technology-assisted learning that can facilitate all students to develop their potential. the fact that the quality of students' adaptive reasoning in solving math problems is still low which has an impact on other mathematical competencies. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the improvement of adaptive reasoning abilities between students who have implemented Search Solving Create and Share learning assisted with Microsoft Mathematics and conventional learning. The method used is quasi-experimental with the non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group design. Through the Simple Random Sampling technique, two classes were selected, namely class X1 and X2 one of the SMA in Bandung Indonesia. Test instrument: story questions about adaptive reasoning abilities. Analysis using independent T-test data. Result: There is a difference in the improvement in adaptive reasoning abilities between students who using search-solve-create- share learning assisted by Microsoft mathematics compared to conventional learning. Students' difficulties in solving story problems with adaptive reasoning abilities can be minimized by getting used to solving non-routine story problems. Learning search-solve-create-share assisted by Microsoft mathematics accustoms students to convey assumptions, provide reasons for answers, draw conclusions from statements, and students can find patterns of various mathematical problems through multi-interactive media.

Utilization healthy booklet the provision of information to mothers of child under 5 years of age who have Maternal Child Healthy Booklet with additional information of nutritional intake or local supplementary feeding, health care, stimulation and visit to posyandu (center of integrated health services) through the lecture questioning method with using modules and leaflets. This study aims to determine the intervention utilization healthy booklet against growth and development of child under 5 years of age. The type of research used in this study is quasi experiment with non-randomized pre-test-post-test control group design. Sampling technique is exhaustive sampling amounted to 100 respondents. Where there are 2 groups (intervention and control), each amounted to 50 respondents. The result showed that there was a significant difference of knowledge (p=0.000), attitude (p=0.000) and practice (p=0.000) of before and after obtaining intervention. Conclution in this study is utilization maternal child Healthy Booklet more effective to improve linear retradation and cognition of child under 5 years of age at Baubau City.

Surgery is a medical procedure that can trigger anxiety, lavender aromatherapy is one alternative intervention that can be done to overcome this anxiety. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of lavender aroma therapy on the anxiety of pre cataract surgery patients. The research method used was quasi experimental pre and post test with control group design. This study was conducted on 30 respondents selected through consecutive sampling technique and divided into two groups, namely 15 people in the control group and 15 people in the treatment group. The results of this study showed that through the Wilcoxon test found p=0.008, there was a significant effect of lavender aromatherapy on anxiety in the treatment group. In the Mann Whitney test found p=0.006, there was a significant difference in the effect of lavender aromatherapy on anxiety in the treatment and control groups. Thus, there is a significant effect of the lavender aromatherapy on the anxiety of pre-cataract surgery patients. Nurses can provide aromas of lavender therapy to reduce the anxiety of preoperative patients so that the surgical procedure can work well.

Background: Normal Childbirth Care or APN is a standard or a reference for childbirth assistance and a breast crawl, or called IMD, in Indonesia; however, there is lack of its implementation in the midwifery practice. Breast crawl is considered effective in increasing breast milk production among postpartum mothers.Objective: The aim of the study was to determine the effectiveness of breast crawl by midwives to increase the breast milk production in postpartum mothers in Kendari, Indonesia.Methods: True experimental study with posttest only control group design. A total of 30 midwives participated using a total sampling technique. Respondents were given intervention regarding the implementation of breast crawl using the breast crawl pocket book as a research instrument. Data were analyzed using Mann-Whitney test to determine the differences in respondents who were given IMD intervention using the breast crawl pocket book and the control group who did not use the breast crawl pocket book.Result: There was a significant difference between respondents who were given intervention using pocket books and the control group who did not use pocket books with p = 0.039 (0.05).Conclusion: There was a significant difference between the breast milk production of postpartum mothers who were given breast crawl intervention and those who were not given breast crawl intervention by midwives. This intervention is therefore recommended as one of midwifery cares in the community health centers.

This study  aims to determine the relationship of increasing the parameters of knowledge, attitude, and action through individual therapy and group activity therapy in improving the preparedness of patients facing earthquake disaster at mental hospital. This reserch methode use Experimental design with true experiments model design (pre test-post test control group design). The sampling technique used is simple random sampling with sample size of 30 patients drawn from 9 intermediate inpatient rooms. Patients were divided into three group; 10 controls, 10 individual, and 10  group activity therapy. Data were collected through interviews and obsevation. The results showed that there was no increase of post-test in the control group on the parameters of knowledge, attitude, and action. The highest increase was found in the action parameter of 10.7 ( increase 60%) for individual therapy 7.3 (increased 52.52%) for group actifity therapy.. Therapy of individual modalities and therapy group activities are indicates existence in improving the knowledge, attitudes, and actions of patients in the face of the earthquakes.
