This research aims to determine the education effect of balanced nutrition guidelines using puzzle on Al Fitriah Private Elementary School Students, Medan. The type of research used is quasi experiment. The study was conducted on 45 students using a questionnaire before and after the intervention. The statistical test used is a paired t-test. The results showed an average score of respondents knowledge before being given nutrition education by 10.96 and increasing after being given nutrition education using puzzle media to 16.84. The results of the analysis using paired sample t test obtained a value of p = 0,000 where p <0.005. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the variable knowledge of fifth grade students of Al Fitriah Medan Private Elementary School before and after being given nutrition education using puzzle media.

<p>The aims of this study was to determine the ability to master the concept of elementary school students through the implementation of critical multiliteracy learning models. This research was conducted on fifth grade students of elementary school. The research method used in this study was a quasi-experimental method. The participants in this study amounted to 39 students. Data was collected using tests and rubric. Analysis of data in this research using the t test with SPSS version 20.0 program for windows. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the mastery ability of the explanatory text concept of students experienced a significant increase and was included in the sufficient category. This can be seen from the pretest score obtained by students at 34.74 and the posttest results at 64.23. Based on the results of the t test the significance value is 0.00˂0.05 thus it can be concluded that there are significant differences between the mastery of students' concepts before and after being given treatment using critical multiliteracy learning models.</p>

The unbalanced eating behavior of school-age children is influenced by the level of nutritional knowledge. The purpose of this research is to analyze the comparison of media education with videos and pop-up books on the knowledge of balanced nutrition guidelines for elementary school students. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The total sample used in the study was 90 students who were taken by probability sampling and then divided into two groups, 45 students were given education with video media (P1) and 45 students were educated with pop-up book media (P2). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney test with a significant level of 0.05. The results obtained are that there is a difference in the level of knowledge of the pop-up book group before and after education (p=0.0001) and there is no difference in the level of knowledge of the video group before and after education (p=1.00). Pop-up book media is more effective in increasing students' knowledge level of balanced nutrition compared to video, so pop-up book media can be an alternative media used to provide education to elementary school students.

This research was motivated by several reasons: (1) there was a misconception of some elementary school geometry materials that were considered essential; (2) the form of evaluation given was dominantly objective/multiple choice; (3) teachers' teaching methods tend not to be contextual; and (4) students' way of thinking simply to take the practical one. Through this research, it is expected to obtain information about: geometrical reasoning in elementary schools according to Bruner's theory, problem solving and mathematical representations. Theresearch was conducted in a descriptive analytic form, with the following steps: (1) giving questions for the geometry reasoning test for SMP; (2) analyzing answers according to the criteria of reasoning; and (3) mapping students' answers to the results of the analysis according to the profile criteria. The data obtained were analyzed, and the results were described to illustrate the condition of the geometric reasoning abilities of elementary school students. Theresults obtained in this study were: (1) The Mastery of the concept of geometry in each junior high school/equivalent. The target with the acquisition of an average score from all schools was 55, which was quite low because there were some students who did not master the concept of geometry and there were other mathematical concepts related to solving test questions; (2) There was no significant difference in the mastery of geometry concepts for male or femalestudents for each SMP/equivalent target, except for one school, namely SMP Negeri 17, which was because males are superior to females in three questions with a difference in the percentage of numbers of significantly correct; (3) The mastery of geometry concepts in each junior high school. The target of studying each geometry material was considered good, except for question number 1 with the subject of the Pythagorean Theorem, because students were dominant in not being able to use the relationship between concepts, especially the operation ofthe compounding form and the roots.

School age children are groups that is prone to experiencing health problems due to low knowledge of clean and healthy life behavior. To increase their knowledge, an attractive promotional media namely snake and ladder is needed so that the delivery of material is easily accepted by them. The purpose of this method is as a stimulus medium so that elementary school students can easily understand on how to improve clean and healthy life behavior. The research method was quasi-experimental with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population were 85 elementary school students of Ujong Tanjung in IV, V and VI grade who had been given an understanding of CHLB. The sample consisted of 30 people who would be given a pre-test and post-test who were previously given snake and ladder media intervention. The results showed there was a significant improvement on student’s knowledge after they got intervention with snake and ladder media where during the pre-test the respondents who had good knowledge were 11 people (36.7%) but after being given the intervention, it was increase into 22 people (73.3%). On the other hand, respondents with poor knowledge category on pre-test were 19 people (63.3%), after being given the intervention, it was decrease into 8 people (26.7%). Based on the results of Wilcoxon test, it was found Pvalue = 0,000 < α =0.05, it is indicated there is a significant difference on respondents’ knowledge about clean and healthy life behavior (CHLB) before and after given the intervention through Snake and Ladder (SAL) media. The conclusion is there is the difference in the level of respondents’ knowledge on CHLB (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior) before and after the intervention through Snake and Ladder (SAL) media.

Abstract: Stunting is a condition where height is not in accordance with age. It is due to chronic malnutrition which causes nonoptimal brain development that can affect children’s cognitive development, performance at school, and learning ability, as well as consequently influences learning achievement at school. This study was aimed to identify the correlation between stunting and learning achievement of elementary school students at Tikala Manado. This was an analytical study with a cross sectional design. Respondents were elementary school students at Tikala Manado aged 7-13 years that had their average grades. Data were analyzed by using unpaired T-test. The results showed that there were 232 students as respondents. Stunting was found in 103 students (44%) and not stunting in 129 students (56%). The average grade of stunting students was 67.16 and of not stunting students was 68.53. Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the average student grade in stunting students and not stunting students (P=0.215; α=0.05). Conclusion: There was no significant correlation between stunting and learning achievementKeywords: stunting, learning achievement Abstrak: Stunting merupakan keadaan dimana tinggi badan tidak sesusai dengan usia. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan perkembangan otak tidak optimal sehingga berpengaruh pada perkem-bangan kognitif dan performance anak di sekolah, serta kemampuan belajar, yang selanjutnya berpengaruh pada prestasi belajar anak di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan stunting dan prestasi belajar pada siswa Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Tikala Manado. Jenis penelitian ialah analitik dengan desain potong lintang. Responden ialah siswa sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Tikala Manado yang berusia 7-13 tahun dan rerata nilai rapor siswa. Analisis uji statistik yang digunakan ialah uji T-test tidak berpasangan. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan 232 siswa sebagai responden. Stunting didapatkan pada 103 siswa (44%) dan yang tidak stunting 129 siswa (56%). Rerata nilai rapor pada siswa stunting 67,16 dan yang tidak stunting 68,53. Hasil uji analisis menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan rerata prestasi belajar antara siswa stunting dan tidak stunting (P=0,215; α=0,05). Simpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara stunting dan prestasi belajar.Kata kunci: stunting, prestasi belajar

This study aims to analyze (1) the average mathematical problem solving ability of students who can achieve the KKM, (2) the proportion of students who can complete classical completeness of 75%, (3) differences in students' mathematical problem solving abilities before and after the REACT model assisted by fable-math book media is applied, (4) increasing mathematical problem solving abilities. The research method used is quantitative research with a pre-experimental design trial design in the form of one group pretest posttest. Sampling was done by means of purposive sample. The sample in this study were IV grade students in academic year 2019/2020. Collecting data using interview techniques, documentation, and tests. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using statistical analysis in the form of one sample t-test, z-proportion test, paired sample t-test, and n-gain test. After applying the REACT model assisted by the fable-math book media the results of the study showed that the average score of the student's problem-solving ability test got more than 70, the proportion of students who completed the test could achieve classical completeness above 75%, there were significant differences in the pretest and posttest results, and there is an increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities with the medium category.

Abstract The objective of this study was to develop two intervention programs to promote reading comprehension, one for narrative texts and one for expository texts, to be used by 3rd-5th grade elementary school teachers in the classroom. The applicability of the programs was verified. A total of 143 elementary school students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades participated in this study. The students were evaluated before and after the administration of the intervention programs. There were significant differences in the answers of inferential questions about the macrostructure of the narrative texts in the three groups of students evaluated. A significant difference was also observed in the expository texts for the group of 5th graders, indicating superior performance of the students submitted to the programs. The strategies of the informative programs were more effective in improving students’ reading performance on the narrative texts than on the expository texts. Therefore, the strategies used should be reviewed in future studies.

Abstract The study was intended to analyze the reactions of Indonesia's capital markets on events Indonesia tested positive for the corona virus pandemic. The study adopted an 11-day period of event study analysis. The population in this study is the entire company listed on the LQ45 index at the Indonesian stock exchange in February - June 2020. Sampling taken in this study uses an impressive sampling technique. Samples obtained by criteria on this research account number 42 companies. Variables used in this study are abnormal return and trading volume of activity.     The study used paired sample t-test analysis methods. The research indicates that there was no significant difference between average abnormal return before and after the Indonesia announcement was positive the corona virus pandemic. This is indicated by the results of the significant paired sample t-test that have a value of 0.924 > 0.05. Additionally, this study indicates that there was no significant difference in average trading volume activity before and after the events of the Indonesian announcement was positive that the corona virus pandemic. Sufficient consumption of vegetables and fruits is one balanced nutritional indicator. Indonesian people (60.44%) consume fewer vegetables and fruits. The fiber content in vegetables and fruit is very useful for the body. Nutrition education in early childhood aims to shape nutritional behavior to be better. Efforts to improve nutrition knowledge can be done with appropriate, interesting, and easily understood media for children including storytelling methods. Therefore, it is necessary to research nutrition education through a storytelling method to increase the consumption of vegetables and fruits for elementary school children. This study aims to determine the effect of nutrition education through storytelling methods to increase the consumption of vegetables and fruits for elementary school children. This research is a pre-experiment. one group pre-post test. Data analysis in this study using the Paired Sample T-test. The subjects of this study were the elementary school children of 21 North Pontianak totaling 35 samples. The technique of collecting questionnaire data was chosen by direct interview, to see the difference in the consumption of vegetables and fruits. Based on the results of statistical tests of fruit intake scores before and after the intervention of 35 respondents obtained p-value 0,000 <0,05 this indicates that there is a significant difference between the fruit intake score before and after. The statistical test results of vegetable intake scores before and after the intervention were obtained p-value 0,000 <0,05, indicating that there were significant differences in vegetable intake scores in school children.

Consumption of foods that can increase body immunity and are nutritionally balanced for school children especially in the current conditions amid the Covid-19 pandemic. SMPN 2 Bayang is one of the junior secondary schools located in Bayang District, Pesisir Selatan Regency. Healthy eating habits are the most important behaviors that can affect the state of nutrition and health of a person so that it is hoped that through education on balanced nutrition and healthy food for body immunity. The purpose of this community service is to increase junior high school students' knowledge about nutritionally balanced food and increase body immunity. The service began with an introduction to the approach to students and was continued with a pre-test. The next activity is nutrition education in the form of providing materials and simulations in preparing a balanced nutrition menu using video media, post-tests, and question and answer with prizes with community service participants. Participants and school principals were very enthusiastic in participating in the activity, because it was considered very important in the Covid-19 pandemic. From the pre-test and post-test results, it was concluded that there was a significant difference between the level of knowledge before and after nutrition education.
