This research aims to find out how sales are growing in Rilexindo Auto Accessories stores and how promotional costs affect sales in Riexindo Auto Accessories stores. The research was conducted in one of the branches of rilexindo group company namely 'Rilexindo Auto Accessories' store using sales data and promotional costs from 2017 - 2019 which is divided into 4 quarters. The data is processed with a development formula and a simple regression method with the promotional cost as a free variable (X) with sales as a bound variable (Y). The results showed that sales growth at the 'Rilexindo Auto Accessories' store with the highest sales was in 2017 in the 2nd quarter of Rp. 1,227,010,000, and the lowest sales were in the 3rd quarter of 2019 at Rp. 415,800,000. Promotional costs significantly affect sales at Rilexindo Auto Accessories stores, this is indicated by thitung > ttabel's 21,482 > 2.26 with a correlation coefficient of 0.990 and a significance rate of 0.000 (<0.05).

As students who have an educational background in Islamic Economics, each has a different perception of Islamic Banking. There are still students who compare Islamic banks and conventional banks, a doubt toward the operational saving system, financing or discounting, and the existence of conventional Banks being more affordable than Islamic banks in remote areas. This study aimed to examine the effect of religiosity on students' interest in saving in Islamic banks. This type of research was quantitative with data analysis using a simple regression method. The results showed that the t count was 14,832, and the t table was 1,975 < t count 14,832 with a significance of 0.000 under 0.05. Therefore, it concluded that religiosity significantly affects the saving interest of students at Islamic Banks.

Along with high competition, the ability to survive in the business world strategic leadership is needed to face the competition. Strategic leadership that has dimensions of vision, business model articulation, information delivery well, clever in handling power, and emotional intelligence is one of the factors needed in the company in choosing the appropriate strategy competitiveness. While the competitive strategy itself has a dimension of leadership that low cost, differentiation, and focus. This study aims to measure great strategic leadership, competitive strategy and how much strategic leadership relationship and competitive strategy in SMEs cafe and restaurant. The population of this study is 557 SMEs cafe and restaurant it Kecamatan Bandung Wetan, with a sample of 50 SMEs. The methodology used is descriptive method associative. In this study using simple regression method obtained regression equation Y = 16043 + 0,306X, it means to have a positive relationship of 0.401. The result of research stated that strategic leadership influence 16,08% toward competitive strategy at SMEs cafe and restaurant. Seiring dengan persaingan yang tinggi, kemampuan bertahan di dunia bisnis. Kepemimpinan strategis dibutuhkan untuk menghadapi persaingan. Kepemimpinan strategis yang memiliki dimensi visi, artikulasi model bisnis, penyampaian informasi dengan baik, pandai dalam menangani daya, dan kecerdasan emosional merupakan salah satu faktor yang dibutuhkan dalam perusahaan dalam memilih strategi bersaing yang tepat. Sedangkan strategi bersaing itu sendiri memiliki dimensi kepemimpinan yang berbiaya rendah, diferensiasi dan fokus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur strategi kepemimpinan yang hebat, strategi bersaing dan seberapa besar hubungan kepemimpinan strategis dan strategi bersaing di UKM kafe dan restoran. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 557 UKM kafe dan restoran Kecamatan Bandung Wetan, dengan sampel 50 UKM. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif asosiatif. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi sederhana diperoleh persamaan regresi Y = 16043 + 0,306X, artinya memiliki hubungan positif sebesar 0,401. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kepemimpinan strategis berpengaruh 16,08% terhadap strategi bersaing di UKM kafe dan restoran.

Every firm operating in a dynamic and competitive environment must employ competitive strategies in order to enhance performance and remain relevant to the market. The automotive industry in Kenya has experienced shifts within the last couple of years that have disadvantaged automotive firms’ sales and this despite adequate capacity to supply local demand. Consequently, a persistent decline in volume sales has negatively impacted performance of these firms in overall, reducing competition to price wars that are not a viable option in the long run. This study therefore, sought to investigate the effect of Porter’s generic strategies on performance of selected automotive firms in Nairobi City County, Kenya. The specific objectives of the study were; to determine the effect of cost leadership strategy on the performance of selected automotive firms in Nairobi county, Kenya, to investigate the effect of differentiation strategy on the performance of selected automotive firms in Nairobi county, Kenya and to establish the effect of focus strategy on the performance of selected automotive firms in Nairobi county, Kenya. The scope entailed a study of selected new vehicle firms in the automotive industry in Nairobi County, Kenya. The study was anchored on three theories that included the market based view, the resource based view of the firm and Porter’s diamond theory of national advantage. Descriptive research design was adopted. The study used simple random sampling to attain the sample size and data was collected through drop and pick method using semi structured questionnaires. To ensure reliability in the questionnaire, Cronbach’s alpha correlation coefficient was used where a level of above 0.7 confirmed internal consistency. Pilot testing was done on ten respondents and Pearson’s product correlation coefficient was used to check for correlation between the study variables. A multivariate regression model was used to determine the relative importance of each variable to the study. Data collected was presented in graphs, tables and charts and a conclusion of the study drawn. The study revealed that cost leadership was significant in influencing the organizations’ performance. The study also revealed that differentiation affected their organizations’ performance to a great extent. The study also revealed that the focus strategy improved the sales growth in the firms thereby resulting to overall organization performance. The study recommended that the management of the automotive firms should often review their pricing structures and be geared towards minimizing their operational costs so as to offer cost friendly vehicles to the clients. The study also recommended that the firms’ management ensure they develop quality vehicles and embrace differentiation strategy so as to remain competitive in the market. The study also recommended that the management fully adopt the focus strategy to help in improving the sales growth in the firms thereby resulting to overall organization performance as well as improving on the product innovation which would lead to improved market share.

Total fertility rate (TFR) is the universally used indicator to measure and monitor fertility transition and population stabilization. Calculation of TFR requires data on births by age of woman. In the absence of these data, several indirect methods have been proposed to estimate TFR but their application is limited to specific period and place. This paper deduces a simple regression method for estimating TFR based on the current age distribution of women in reproductive age. The method can be used to estimate TFR at local level and for different sub-groups of the population.

This study aims to describe the influence of classical guidance on the ability of socializing class X students in SMAN 2 Garut. In this research, the researcher uses quantitative approach with simple regression method, with the main purpose of this research is to describe and give explanation about the influence of classical guidance to socializing ability of class X students in SMAN 2 Garut. The research is carried out by taking steps: determining the location of the research, determining the research method, determining the population and the sample, determining the data type and the data source, determining the data collection techniques, and finally processing and analyzing the data. Based on the results of research shows that the application of classical guidance provided by teachers BK to students of class X have a very strong influence. The impact of the ability of socializing class X students in SMAN 2 Garut has a high increase after the application of classical guidance. Thus the influence of classical guidance produces a positive value and can help and develop in the ability of socializing class X students in SMAN 2 Garut.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh bimbingan klasikal terhadap kemampuan bersosialisasi siswa kelas X di SMAN 2 Garut. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode regresi sederhana, dengan tujuan pokok dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan dan memberikan penjelasan tentang pengaruh bimbingan klasikal terhadap kemampuan bersosialisasi siswa kelas X di SMAN 2 Garut. Penelitian ini ditempuh dengan menempuh langkah-langkah: menentukan lokasi penelitian, menentukan metode penelitian, menentukan populasi dan sampel, menentukan jenis data dan sumber data, menentukan teknik pengumpulan data, dan akhirnya mengolah dan menganalisis data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan bimbingan klasikal yang diberikan oleh guru BK terhadap siswa kelas X mempunyai pengaruh yang tergolong sangat kuat. Dampak dari kemampuan bersosialisasi siswa kelas X di SMAN 2 Garut memiliki peningkatan yang tinggi setelah adanya penerapan bimbingan klasikal. Dengan demikian pengaruh bimbingan klasikal mengahasilkan nilai yang positif serta dapat membantu dan mengembangkan dalam kemampuan bersosialisasi siswa kelas X di SMAN 2 Garut.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of several variables such as, Competence, Compensation, and Leadership to Employee Performance. The object of this research is the regular employees of PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) West Jakarta. The method used was Descriptive and Simple Regression Method were used to test the hypothesis. Respondents involved in this study were 67 employees. This study uses a purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques by using a questionnaire. The results showed that partially, Competence has effect to Employees Performance, Compensation has effect to Employees Performance, and Leadership has effect to Employees Performance.

The research aims to (1) reveal the work motivation teachers in SMA Muhammadiyah 02 Tj. Sari Medan, (2) reveal the teacher communication at SMA Muhammadiyah 02 Tj. Sari Medan, and (3) reveal the contribution of work motivation to the teachers’ performance in high school Muhammadiyah 02 Tj. Sari Medan. Sample withdrawal is done by probability sampling technique using total sampling method, with the number of samples used is 27 people. Data is collected using a Likert scale that has been tested with validation and its reabilitations. Data in analysis with simple regression techniques. The results of the first hypothesis analysis showed that the correlation coefficient between the work motivation variable (X1) and performance (Y) amounted to 0.263 thus the relationship is relatively weak. Meanwhile, based on the above summary of visible coefficient of determination (R2) obtained from the calculation of 0.069 which gives the meaning that the work motivation (X1) contributes to the contribution of 0.069 x 100% = 6.9% against performance (Y).
