The COVID-19 pandemic was a surprising event in early 2020. Patients were confirmed positive and patients died increasingly showing an increasing trend. Good knowledge and perception from the community are needed to break the chain of distribution of COVID-19. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of public perceptions about the risk of COVID-19 in Indonesia. This research is a descriptive study and used 134 respondents from several regions in Indonesia and taken used an accidental sampling technique. Data collection using a questionnaire consisting of 19 statements to measure people's perceptions about the risk of COVID-19. The results showed that the level of public perception in this study was 85.8%. The results of this study can be used as a basis for relevant parties in planning actions and also in formulating policies to break the chain of COVID-19 distribution in Indonesia.

Osteochilus spilurus, which has been known to be of minimal use, is an important economical fish in East Belitung. Public perceptions related to consumption and understanding of these fish need to be known as the community's point of view in utilization and management. This study was conducted to obtain information about people’s perceptions about Cempedik Fish from the citizen and related business actors in Gantung District. Information and data collection techniques in this study were carried out with three kinds of methods, namely, interviews, observation, and discussion. Public perception of Gantung District, Belitung Timur Regency towards Cempedik Fish shows that more than 79% of respondents recognize and consume these fish with the majority of consumption obtained from trade. Season and methods of catching Cempedik fish are understood to be more than 65% of respondents. Most of them assume that the size and number of fish are not changing. But they hope protection and cultivation for the continuity of production. The limited availability of Cempedik Fish products outside the rainy season is a potential for its development as an aquaculture commodity for meeting market demands and the sustainability of populations in their natural habitats.

A quantitative approach was used to assess the knowledge regarding prevention and management of water borne diseases among mothers of under five children. Simple random sampling technique was used to select the mothers of under five children for study.100 samples collected from selected areas of mehsana. The duration of data collection was 1 day. The results of the study revealed that majority of the study sample (58.63%) have average knowledge regarding water borne diseases, 71.5% of the study sample having knowledge about causes and risk factors of Water borne diseases, 68.22% of the study sample having knowledge about prevention of Water borne diseases and 70.36% of the study sample having knowledge about management of Water borne diseases.

Kehilangan gigi dapat menimbulkan dampak emosional serta menyebabkan berkurangnya kemampuan untuk melakukan aktivitas pengunyahan dan berbicara. Melihat akibat yang ditimbulkan maka seharusnya gigi yang hilang diganti dengan gigi tiruan. Pada umumnya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pembuatan gigi tiruan, masyarakat lebih memilih mengunjungi tukang gigi daripada pergi ke dokter gigi. Salah satu alasan yang memengaruhi seseorang memakai gigi tiruan yaitu persepsi terhadap status kesehatan gigi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di desa Treman kecamatan Kauditan berlangsung selama bulan April-Oktober 2013. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan membagikan kuesioner pada sampel yang berjumlah 107 orang.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persepsi masyarakat berdasarkan waktu memiliki skor tertinggi yaitu 398 termasuk kategori baik, persepsi masyarakat berdasarkan keterjangkauan memiliki skor sebanyak 395 termasuk kategori baik, persepsi masyarakat berdasarkan biaya jumlah skor yaitu 379 termasuk kategori baik, persepsi masyarakat berdasarkan kebutuhan memiliki skor sebanyak 366,6 termasuk kategori baik, dan persepsi masyarakat berdasarkan kompetensi memiliki skor terendah yaitu sebanyak 236,25 termasuk kategori cukup.Kata kunci : persepsi masyarakat, tukang gigi, pembuatan gigi tiruan ABSTRACTTooth loss can cause emotional effect and also reduce the ability to chew and speak. Based on these, missing teeth should be replaced with dentures. In general, to meet the needs of dentures, same people prefer visiting dental handyman rather than dentist. One of the reasons that affect a person to wear denture is the perception of dental health status. This research is a descriptive study. This study was conducted in Treman village, on april-oktober 2013. The sampling technique was done with purposive sampling by distributing questionnaires to the sample that consist of 107 people.The results of this research showed the public perception based on the time has the highest scores that is 398 including good categories, the public perception based on the affordability has 395 scores categorized as good, the public perception based on the cost has 379 scores including as good categories, the public perception based on the needs has 366,6 scores categorized as good, and the public perception based on the competence has the lowest scores as many as 236,25 including enough category. This study aims to analyze unemployment in Kelurahan Gates Nan XX Lubuk Begalung Subdistrict of Padang City which is seen from the aspect of family social status, education, income and time allocation. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation. To test the validity of data used Triangulation Technique. The results of this study indicate that unemployed are classified as half-unemployed come from families who have low economy. This can be seen from the work of parents as Fishermen, Merchants, and Daily laborers. Furthermore, many youth drop out and choose to work as fishermen, casual laborers, and fish traders in Gates Nan XX Village with an average income of Rp 50,000 per day and have 3-5 hours working hours per day. Keywords:Unemploymen

The purpose of this study was to describe public perceptions of people’s housing programs for handling slums in Malaysia. Malaysia has begun organizing and fostering communities that have lived in slums since 1998 in the 'slum-free Malaysia vision 2005' program, and today Malaysia can be said to have successfully resolved slums, through public housing programs. The type of research used is this research is descriptive qualitative, using accidental sampling as sampling technique. Data collection methods used are interview and documentation methods, with research instruments in the form of interview guidelines. The results showed that the community strongly agreed with the existence of The People’s Housing Program (PPR), especially for the lower middle class and poor people in Malaysia. This program is able to realize the dream of the poor to be able to have a place to live that is suitable for living with family. Furthermore, the program itself is acknowledged by the community as being able to deal with slum settlements in Malaysia, and the poor who are biased in occupying slum areas voluntarily move to the houses provided by this PPR. So, people's perception of the Public Housing Program is very supportive especially to deal with slums in Malaysia.

Based on Research (RisKesDa) on years 2013 Yogyakarta Special Region is a province with a prevalence of age ≥ 10 years each day smoking as much as 21.2%. There are many reasons teenagers or children age ≤ 15 years of smoking. The factor that causes the child to smoke are from the environment of smoking parents or peers and from the individual himself. This study was conducted to find out the description of parent's knowledge about cigarettes in parents own children smokers age 10-15 years in the Village Modinan. This research is a descriptive study using survey method. The sample was 38 respondents by using Purposive Sampling technique. Measuring tools using questionnaire. Parent's knowledge level on cigarettes in parents own had 10-15 year old smokers in 38 respondents showed that knowledge level was in good category. Obtained 60.5% of parents at the age of 36-45 years, 63.2% of parents have senior high school, 52.6% of parents work as housewife, and 55.4% of unemployed parrent. Knowledge of cigarettes in parents own have 10-15 year old smokers in Modinan Village mayority in the category of good knowledge.

Online learning for Hair Trimming Course using Whatsapp, Zoom, and Elearning2unp applications is conducted by creating a class group and learning interaction using chat features and uploading material files, but the implementation is still not maximal. This study aimed at 1) knowing the students' perceptions about online 1earning facilities in hair trimming course, 2) knowing the students' perceptions about the students’ capacity in using online learning facilities in hair trimming course, 3) knowing the students' perceptions of online learning activities in hair trimming course, and 4) knowing the students’ perception of online learning implementation in hair trimming course. This was a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. The variable was single. The population was the students majoring in the Department of Makeup and Beauty, Faculty of Tourism and Hospita1ity, Universitas Negeri Padang batch 2019 by using the probability sampling technique. This study used primary data. The data collection technique was in the form of questionnaires or structured questionnaires. The instrument was a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The tests applied to the instrument were the validity test and reliability test. The data ana1ysis technique used a descriptive statistica1 ana1ysis. Based on the resu1t of the study, it can conc1ude that the majority of the students batch 2019 have a less positive perception towards the imp1ementation of on1ine 1earning in the hair trimming course. This can be seen from the online learning facilities showing 12.5% (strongly positive), 17.9% (positive), 59% (less positive), and 10.3% (negative). For the educators’ and the students’ capacity in using the online learning facilities, the result is 12.8% (strongly positive), 10.3% (positive), 64.1% (less positive), and 12.8% (negative). Meanwhile, the result for the online learning activities is 7.7% (strongly positive), 46.2% (positive), 33.3% (less positive), and 12.8% (negative). Consequently, overall, the students' perception against the imp1ementation of on1ine learning in the hair trimming course is categorized as less positive. The students are suggested to maximize the use of online learning facilities in the hair trimming course to achieve a better outcome.

This study aimed at assessing the perception of adults towards rape. This descriptive study included 50 adults residing in Delhi, India, selected using convenient sampling technique. A structured interview schedule was used for data collection. Results revealed that people still do not have positive perceptions for rape victims. While majority of the respondents were females, yet many of them responded that a woman was responsible for rape in various situations. This study concluded that the issue of gender sensitization needs to be taken seriously by educationists, sociologists, politicians and common people alike.

This study aims to determine the application of learning electrical materials online using the PhET (Physics Education and Technology) simulation media for grade VI students. This quantitative descriptive study illustrates how the PhET simulation media is used in learning to cognitive learning outcomes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique as many as 10 students of MIN 2 Sidoarjo. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and tests which were sent to students via google form. The student's score is compared to the school's KKM score and the percentage is calculated. The results showed that (i) 80% of students scored above 75 with an average of 85,4 and (ii) 91% of students responded positively to using this application.

Introduction: Homecoming is a social phenomenon in Indonesia every year. To prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the Government makes a Policy to Eliminate Homecoming for Eid Al-Fitr in 2021. Objective: To determine public perceptions regarding the ban on going home for Eid in 2021. Methods: This study uses a survey method with a quantitative questionnaire conducted at the Type C Hospital in Bogor Regency with a sample of 84 respondents. Results: respondents aged 30-40 years agreed not to go home for Eid with a presentation of 80%, over 40 years of age 75% agreed and 25% did not agree. Conclusion: During the Covid-19 Pandemic, greatly affects people's perceptions of traveling back and forth. The majority of respondents agreed to the 2021 Eid homecoming ban due to concerns about contracting or transmitting the Covid-19 virus. Recommendations: There are strict sanctions for violators who continue to go home, scouring the location of crowds during the Eid transportation period, the community continues to maintain health and comply with the Health Protocol.
