This study describes the strength, concentration, interest, physical activity and body mass index between regular schools and Islamic boarding schools based schools. The results of this study were carried out as material for evaluating the interests of interests. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research. The sample in this study were high school students in regular schools and Islamic boarding schools in Kab. Bojonegoro. The number of regular students is 221, students of Islamic boarding schools are 245. The instruments used to measure the variables of this study include: the strength variable (Push Up, Sit Up, Back Up). Concentration variable using grid concentration test. Interest variables using a questionnaire. The physical activity variable used the international physical activity questionnaire (IPAQ short). The body mass index variable uses the national nutritional obesity formula. This research was conducted semi-online. Items of interest and physical activity were carried out offline, while physical fitness, concentration and body mass index were carried out boldly. Regular school excels at item strength and physical activity. Islamic boarding school-based schools are superior in concentration and interest. Regular school students tend to be obese than boarding school students.

The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the problems of underweight, overweight and obesity in young people of high school in Drenas, respectively a sample of 150 adolescents (73 males and 77 females aged 17 years). The research was conducted in the physical education class, initially was performed measurement of weight and height then the questionnaire with 26 questions. Data were collected with the statistical program SPSS version 21.0, descriptive analysis was performed with (Mean and standard deviation), all variables were tested for normality, significant level (significant level p <0.05). Results of anthropometric characteristics, the average age was 17.2 years. Weight / kg for men was 59.4 kg for women 57.3kg the average for both genders was 58.3 (± 6.2) kg. Height / cm  males 1.68cm,  females 1.61cm the average of both genders was 1.64 (± 6.6) cm. BMI body mass index kg / m² in men 21.0, women 22.1, the average of both sexes 21.55 kg / m5. The results show that men have lower BMI (p> 0.05) 21.55 kg / m² than girls with 22.1 kg / m². Data showed underweight males are 12%, and females 10%. BMI Normal male 74%, and female 69%. Overweight males 11%, females 13% while a significant difference was observed between obese boys and girls (obese) males 3% and females 8%. The analysis of the questionnaire showed that small percentages are involved in collective or individual sports, the most pronounced participation in sports was identified: football, volleyball and basketball, and relatively satisfactory were physical activity in household activities. It is recommended to build outdoor fitness and sports gyms, as well as the opening of various sports clubs in this area, and to have more research in this area, to prove the institucions how important are places for sport and physical activities.

Background: Scoliosis is a deformity of spine that has excessive lateral curve. The deformity could becaused by postural adaptation to an imbalance of local trunk muscles or by another risk factors. There are tworisk factors, that are obesity and physical activity, which have not been studied in Indonesia yet about theircorrelation with scoliosis The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between body mass index andphysical activity with scoliosis in young adults.Method: Study design was cross sectional. The subjects were High School students in Depok, recruited byconsecutive non-random sampling. The body mass index (BMI) was measured by body weight (Kg)/bodyheight (m2). The intensity of physical activity measured subjectively by International Physical ActivityQuestionnaires (IPAQ). Detection of postural scoliosis was by inspection and palpation and the deviationmeasured by scoliometer. The data were presence in univariate and bivariate, analyzed by the Pearsen Chisquare.Results: This study conducted in 165 subjects, the mean of age was 16-17 years old. There was no correlationbetween BMI and scoliosis (p=0,11). However the higher intensity of physical activity has correlated with thelower frequency of scoliosis (p=0.00).Conclusions: The lower intensity of physical activity increase the frequency of the postural scoliosis, in theother hand there was no correlation between BMI and scoliosis in young adults.Keywords : Scoliosis, Obesity, Physical activity

Background:  A trend towards in increase of hypertension in adults and children. If criteria of hypertension according to JNC VII 2003 applied to the population aged 15-17 years in Indonesia, the prevalence of hypertension in adolescents was obtained 5.3% nationally. Examination of blood pressure and factors related to blood pressure are of particular importance in children due to the decline in physical activity and weight changes contributing to blood pressure elevations that occur at this point in maturation. Blood pressure levels begin to increase as children approach adolescence. Weight control and physical activity regularly are recommended to prevent blood pressure elevations in both adult and youth.Objective: Determine the relationship between body mass index and physical activity with blood pressure in high school students in Pekanbaru.Method: This is an analytic observational study with cross sectional design. This study was involved 353 high school students in Pekanbaru who meets inclusion and exclusion criteria through cluster sampling technique. Data collected by direct measurements such as weight, height and blood pressure whereas physical activity and characteristic of the subject was collected by questionnaire. The results of the data collection were analyzed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis.Results: There is a correlation between body mass index with systolic (p=0.000; r=0.238) and diastolic blood pressure (p=0.010; r=0.136). Each increase in 1 kg/m2 body mass index was linked with an increase of 2.339 mmHg systolic blood pressure and 0.979 mmHg diastolic blood pressure. However, there is no correlation between physical activity with systolic (p=0.829) nor diastolic blood pressure (p=0,643). Multivariate analysis showed that sex and screen time activity were factors most dominantly affecting blood pressure.Conclusion: There is a correlation between body mass index with blood pressure. However, there is no correlation between physical activity with blood pressure.

The purpose of this paper was to determine the level of physical activity and healthy nutrition in children aged 3-6 years from Mitrovica. The research was attended by 94 children aged 3 - 6 years from two kindergartens in Mitrovica. As a parameter that measured the weight and height of the children,  it was calculated with the standardized procedure of Body Mass Index (BMI)  then was calculated according to the standard formula used by (Betterhealth, 2016). Also, after extracting other information through the questionnaire, a quantitative research was conducted through the parents of 94 children who were part of the measurements. A questionnaire was used to collect the data, which was previously translated and adapted into Albanian with permission to use it. The questionnaire was combined by three different questionnaires such as: the lifestyle questionnaire (Wilson et al., 2008), the physical activity questionnaire Pre-PAQ test (Dwyer et al., 2011) and the nutrition questionnaire (Rysha et al., 2017). The data collected during the research were placed in the statistical program SPSS version 21.0, and the presentation of this data was done through a descriptive analysis. The results that came from  this research showed that the effect of physical activity, lifestyle and nutrition have quite a high impact on body mass index in children. From the results we saw that the children of the two kindergartens from the municipality of Mitrovica did quite well in terms of physical activity, where in the questionnaires that were answered 89.4% of children were active more than an hour a day by walking and doing other activities. Also, the results regarding the questions in which they were asked about the time that children use the phone were at a satisfactory level, where a large percentage of parents, 77.7%, declared that their children did not use the phone  more than an hour a day. While in terms of nutrition, there have been many results which need more detailed analysis and to take preventive measures such as consumption of energy drinks, carbonated beverages, fast food, etc. From the measurement of children aged 3-4 years only one child turned out to be overweight with BMI = 18.7, while the rest came out with BMI with normal limits. As for children aged 4-5 years, one child turned out to be underweight with BMI = 12.4 and one obese with BMI = 21.9 and the others with BMI with normal limits. And out of children aged 5-6 years one child came out overweight with BMI = 17.7 and two others obese, one with BMI = 19.7 and the other BMI = 19.8 and the other children had normal weight (Betterhealth, 2016).

Prediabetes mellitus is a condition of a person's blood sugar, which, if in a fasting state, ranges from 100-125 mg / dL (IFG) or 2 hours after eating, the blood sugar level is 140-199 mg / dL. Physical activity and BMI are factors that trigger prediabetes mellitus. Therefore it is necessary to hold preventive efforts to reduce the rate of development of prediabetes mellitus which is increasing and increasing public awareness regarding the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The purpose of writing this literature is to analyze physical activity and body mass index on the incidence of prediabetes mellitus in high school students. The research writing method used a literature review. Data were collected from 30 journals which were then selected into 22 journals with related variables, namely physical activity and body mass index with the incidence of prediabetes mellitus, a sample of high school students aged 15-18 years . The results of the literature review are that physical activity plays a role in controlling blood sugar and Body Mass Index (BMI) contributes to the occurrence of prediabetes if followed by an unhealthy waist circumference, less physical activity results in an increase in BMI which ultimately triggers prediabetes mellitus.

The rationale behind the research is the Hungarian government’s decision to introduce daily physical education lessons in schools. The system was expanded to all grades by the 2016/2017 academic year. It aims to improve students’ health consciousness and sports habits. Hungarian high school students’ physical activity, participation in competitive sport, body mass index and lifestyle determiners were examined with regard to gender. Altogether, 333 students completed the anonymous questionnaire, their average age was 16.12. Their Body Mass Index (BMI) was used to estimate the prevalence of obesity. The association between BMI and lifestyle determiners was analysed. 63.8% of girls and 70.4% of boys exercise daily or several times a week. Girls love individual sports, while boys would rather choose team sports. More boys participate in competitive sports (26.2%) than girls (16.5%). Both genders’ biology marks are better than those of students who do no sport. 46.81% of girls and 27.59% of boys have been on a slimming diet, and a high percentage of girls were on a slimming diet, even those with a normal BMI. The results suggest that despite having five physical education (PE) lessons every week, students want to get more exercise. However, a lack of time and fatigue prevents them from doing so. Most children chose PE as their favourite subject, but out of all sporting venues it is at school that they like doing sport the least. ABSTRAK   Kejuaraan Renang Pelajar Bulanan Provinsi DKI Jakarta merupakan program pemasalan olahraga renang bagi pelajar tingkat Sekolah Dasar dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui antropometri peserta yang menjadi juara dalam setiap bulan pelaksanaannya. Metode yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes dan pengukuran indeks masa tubuh peserta yang hasilnya diklasifikasikan ke dalam norma yang ditentukan dalam mengukur indeks masa tubuh. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa rata-rata indeks masa tubuh atlet putra dan putri peserta Kejuaraan Renang Pelajar Provinsi DKI Jakarta dalam kategori normal. Hasil tersebut memberikan gambaran kepada pelatih untuk meningkatkan program latihan sehingga dapat mencapai hasil yang maksimal dalam rangka peningkatan atlet ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi.   Kata Kunci : Indeks Masa Tubuh, Atlet Renang, Antropometri   ABSTRACT   The DKI Jakarta Province Monthly Student Swimming Championship is a swimming sports program for elementary and junior high school students in DKI Jakarta Province. This study aims to determine the anthropometry of participants who won each month of its implementation. The method used is a test and measurement of the body mass index of participants whose results are classified into the norms determined in measuring the body mass index. The results of this study indicate that the average body mass index of male and female athletes participating in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Student Swimming Championship is in the normal category. There was made an assessment of the physical development of 319 rural schoolchildren who are brought up in families and in boarding schools. Anthropometric data of boys and girls aged 6-17 of years were analyzed. Normal growth rates for 91.3-94.3% of rural schoolchildren were established; Tall children were more often identified in families, and undersized one were revealed among those living in boarding schools (up to 8.9%). Normal values of body mass index were determined in 69.7-88% of schoolchildren; Overweight - in 10-26,9%, and body mass deficit - in 1,9-3,4% of children. In children living in families, high values of body mass index were detected by the order more often than low values (21.9-26.9% and 1.9-3.4%). In boarding students, the body mass index was the same in all age periods. Normal ratios of waist circumference to hip circumference were determined in 66.7-90% of schoolchildren. In this case, the predominant deposition of fat on the hips was found only in boys (25.7-33.3%); Abdominal fat deposits were found in 2.9% of boys living in families and in 10-17.6% of girls living in families and boarding schools. The authors believe that irrespective of the living conditions (family or boarding school), rural schoolchildren develop changes in the distribution of fat, possibly due to the peculiarities of the pubertal period.
