Pengaruh Asertivitas Siswa dan Persepsi pada Matematika Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas IX SMP Shalahuddin Malang

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of student assertiveness and perception on mathematics on student mathematics learning achievement. (2) the effect of student effectiveness on students' mathematics learning achievement. (3) the effect of perception on mathematics learning achievement. The results of this study concluded, (1) students' assertiveness had a positive and significant effect on mathematics learning achievement of students of class IX of SMP Shalahuddin Malang, (2) Perception on mathematics had a positive and significant effect on mathematics learning achievement of students of class IX of SMP Shalahuddin Malang (3) Both asertivity students and students' perceptions of mathematics simultaneously influence the student's mathematics learning achievement. That is, the higher the student's assertiveness and the better the students' perceptions of mathematics the more mathematics learning achievement of students of class IX of SMP Shalahuddin Malang.

The purpose of the research was to find out correlate between learn time management, motivation to learn, and learning facilities with mathematics learning achievement on 8th  grade students at the whole district of Danurejan Yogyakarta. The genre of this research is descriptive researchment. The population in this research were all students of 8th grade students at the whole district of Danurejan Yogyakarta with amount 593 students and the samples taken at proportional random sampling with amount 113 students. Data collection method used was a questionannaire and a test technique. Analysis using descriptive analysis of data, multiple regression, and partial correlation. In the major hypothesis test is obtained R = 0,747 and R2 = 0,558 with sig=0,000 < 0,05. Then in the first minor hypothesis test is obtained ry1-23 = 0,443 with         sig=0,000 < 0,05; the second minor hypothesis test is obtained ry2-13 = 0,370 with sig=0,000 < 0,05; and the minor third hypothesis test is obtained ry3-12 = 0,344 with sig=0,000 < 0,05. So there is a positive and significant correlation between learning time management, motivation to learn, and learning facilities with mathematics learning achievement on 8th grade students at the whole district of Danurejan Yogyakarta as collective and partial. It is expected that students care about learning time management, motivation to learn, and learning facilities to  mathematics learning achievement increasingly.

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of mathematics learning achievement for students who are subject to the Problem Based Learning model assisted by CD Learning and CD Interactive as well as Conventional learning models on flat-build material. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 223 Jakarta Timur in the academic year 2017/2018. By using selected cluster random sampling techniques VII 3 as the control class, VII 6 and VII 7 respectively as the experimental class PBL models assisted CD learning and assisted PBL models CD Interactive. Data were obtained by documentation and tests, then analyzed by Normality, Homogeneity, One-way Variant Analysis (ANOVA), Two-party and One-party Similarity Test. The results showed that there were significant differences between mathematics learning achievement of students who were taught by learning using PBL models assisted by CD Interactive, PBL models assisted by CD learning and conventional learning. Learning achievement of students who get learning using CD Interactive media is better than students who get conventional learning. Likewise, the learning achievements of students who get learning using CD Learning, media are better than students who get conventional learning. In addition, there were no significant differences between the mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught using PBL models assisted by CD Interactive and students using PBL models assisted by CD Learning.

Teacher has a very important role in creating an exciting and enjoyable learning environment in math lessons.Learning atmosphere is not exciting and fun for students usually to create learning activities that are less harmonious.As in SD 06 Perawang Barat is still low learning achievement of mathematics students, especially VD class with the number of students 32 people.Based on the mathematical repetition value of grade VD students contained in table 1 can be concluded that most students have not reached the established KKM that is 60 in 2012/2013           Another effort that teachers do is to provide practice questions (PR). Then the teacher also repeats the material that the students have not understood. But the effort made by the teacher has not achieved the expected result; low student learning achievement to mathematics is a material for researchers, that the need for mathematics learning that can improve the results of learning mathematics.               The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of direct learning model in groups can improve student achievement on the subject matter of the fractional matter in the VD SDN 06 Perawang Barat class in the even semester of the academic year 2012/2013?       The form of this research is collaborative classroom action research, in collaborative classroom action research involving teachers, principals, and outsiders in one team simultaneously, with the aim of improving learning outcomes, the development of theory and teacher performance improvement. This team relationship is a partnership, meaning that the position of team members with each other is the same that aims to think about the issues to be studied in classroom action research. In this case the researcher serves as a teacher. Action will be done is in order to improve the results of teaching mathematics at class VD SDN 06 in Perawang Barat.               The data in this study were collected with observation sheet and mathematics learning result test. Observations were made to the activities of the students and teachers during the learning process for each meeting by filling out the observation sheets that have been filled in by observing the observation sheets of each teacher and student behavior on the observation sheet. While data is about mathematics learning result collected through daily test (UH1) and daily test (UH2) which contains problem based on indicator that will be achieved based on lattice test result of learning.               The data obtained in this research is then analyzed through descriptive analysis.Descriptive data analysis aims to describe data about student learning outcomes on subject matter using in problem solving.               Based on the results of research and discussion concluded that the application of direct learning model in groups can improve student learning achievement at VD SDN 06 in Perawang Barat class on the subject matter using fractions in problem solving.

Pessimism is the attitude or perspective of an individual who is depicted by uncertainty, despair, and there is no hope for something faced. Conversely, optimism is the attitude of someone who sees things positively. This study aims to find out how students who have optimistic and pessimistic attitudes, and find out the differences in students' mathematics achievement between optimistic and pessimistic students, and if there are better ones. This research was conducted in 4 (four) State High Schools in Semarang City, and 498 XII graders has been chosen randomly. The result is that 55% of students are pessimistic, and 45% are optimistic. The research hypothesis that there are differences in mathematics learning achievement between optimistic and pessimistic students has been proven in the results of this study. Significant differences were also confirmed through the results of statistical calculations, and can be indicated by the average score of the optimistic students is higher than pessimistic students. Further discussion is needed on the implications of the results of this study on mathematics education broadly.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling, jumlah siswa yang menjadi sampel sebanyak 44 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu, kuisioner kecerdasan emosional dan dokumentasi prestasi belajar dari nilai rapor. Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi r = 0,417. Nilai rtabel = 0,297 untuk N = 44 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Nilai rhitung (0,417) > rtabel (0,297) maka diputuskan menerima hipotesis alternatif (H1) dan menolak hipotesis awal (H0). Artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Palu. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional dan Prestasi Belajar Matematika The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence with mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. The population of this study is all students of VIII grade at SMP Negeri 8 Palu consisting of 5 classes. The sample was obtained by using random sampling technique. The total number of the sample was 44 students. The data collection used two instruments, namely, emotional intelligence questionnaire and documentation of learning achievement from the report card. The results of data analysis using product moment correlation test obtained correlation value r = 0.417. Value of rtable = 0,297 for N = 44 with significance level 5%. The value of rcount (0.417)> rtable (0.297) then decided to accept the alternative hypothesis (H1) and reject the initial hypothesis (H0). This means there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and mathematics learning achievement of VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Palu. IMPROVEMENT OF LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ON LESSONS OF LIMIT THROUGH VARIATION PEER-TEACHING MODELSThis research aims to improve Mathematics learning activities and improve mathematics learning achievement of the Limit material through the variation peer-teaching models model for class XI MIPA 3 students in the 2018/2019 academic year. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 9 Bogor. This research was conducted from January 2019 to June 2019. The subjects in this Classroom Action Research were students of SMA Negeri 9 Bogor in class XI MIPA 3, totaling 35 students consisting of 13 male students and 22 female students. Data collection techniques with written tests and observations. Data analysis using comparative description analysis and qualitative description. The results of this Classroom Action Research are: students' mathematics learning activities in the initial conditions, cycle I and cycle II have increased. The average score of student learning activities in the initial conditions of 2.74 increased to 3.77 in the first cycle and increased to 4.30 in the second cycle, while the mathematics learning achievement of students in the initial conditions, cycle I and cycle II increased. The average value of student achievement in the initial conditions of 39.13 increased to 71.17 in the first cycle and increased to 88.13 in the second cycle. The percentage of students who completed also increased, in the initial condition, students who completed learning were only 17.14%, increasing to 50% in cycle I and increasing to 80% in cycle II. This increase is due to the variation peer-teaching models learning method, all students can be actively involved in learning. Students who are appointed as tutors are active in helping their group members overcome learning difficulties. Students who have difficulty learning actively ask questions and discuss with tutors who are their own friends.

The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) The effect of motivation on mathematics learning achievement; (2) The effect of interest on mathematics learning achievement; (3) The effect of study time management on mathematics learning achievement; (4) The influence of motivation, interest, and time management on the learning achievement of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tumbang Titi. The sampling used in this study was nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis with the help of the SPSS 25 application. The results showed that: (1) There was an effect of motivation on students' mathematics learning achievement. This can be indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.712 which means that it has a positive effect on mathematics learning achievement; (2) There is an influence of interest on students' mathematics learning achievement. This can be indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.388 which means that it has a positive effect on mathematics learning achievement; (3) There is an effect of time management on students' mathematics learning achievement. This can be indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.466 which means that it has a positive effect on mathematics learning achievement; (4) There is an effect of motivation, interest and time management on students' mathematics learning achievement. This can be indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.726, which means that it has a positive effect on mathematics learning achievement.

This study aims to (1) analyze Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share on mathematics learning achievement, (2) analyze the level of students 'reasoning towards mathematics learning achievement, and (3) determine the interaction of Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share and the level of students' reasoning on mathematics learning achievement. This type of research uses quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. All grade VIII students of State Junior High School 1 Sambi were the population of this study. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, 31 experimental  and 32 control students, with a sampling technique using cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques using documentation, tests, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the ANOVA technique. Two ways with different cells. The results of the study with a significance level of 5% are (1) there is a good effect using Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share on students 'mathematics learning achievement, (2) there is a good effect of reasoning on students' mathematics learning achievement, and (3) there is no interaction between Discovery Learning. Think Pair Share setting and students' reasoning. Therefore, it is concluded that mathematics learning achievement can be influenced by Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share and reasoning. Keywords: Discovery learning setting think pair share; mathematics learning outcomes; reasoning. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, (2) menganalisis tingkat penalaran siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika, dan (3) mengetahui interaksi Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan tingkat penalaran siswa terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment. Seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sambi menjadi populasi penelitian ini. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas dengan 31 siswa eksperimen dan 32 siswa kontrol, dan pengambilan teknik sampling menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi, tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik ANAVA dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian dengan tingkat signifikansi 5% adalah (1) ada pengaruh baik menggunakan Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, (2) ada pengaruh baik penalaran terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, dan (3) tidak ada interaksi antara Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan penalaran siswa. Oleh karena itu, disimpulkan bahwa prestasi belajar matematika dapat dipengaruhi oleh Discovery Learning Setting Think Pair Share dan penalaran. Kata Kunci: Discovery learning setting think pair share; penalaran; prestasi belajar matematika.

Student interest in learning is a very important factor in determining student success in learning mathematics. Various attempts were made by educators and educational researchers to increase student interest in learning. This research is a classroom action research model by Kemmis and Mc Taggart that aims to describe the application of Guided Discovery learning in optimizing students' interest in learning mathematics. The increase in students' interest in learning mathematics is also supported by the results of student achievement. The research data consisted of students' interest in learning mathematics, learning achievement data, and observations of learning outcomes. Data on learning interest in mathematics is obtained through a questionnaire, data on learning achievement is obtained through tests and data on the results of observations of learning achievement are obtained through observation sheets during learning. In general, the results of the study showed that the average student interest in learning mathematics at 83.93 reached the good category. The completeness of student achievement test results reached 83.87% of students achieving the minimum completeness criteria with an average student score of 85.61. The percentage of teacher and student learning outcomes respectively at 83.80% and 76.91% reached the good category. Therefore it can be concluded that the Guided Discovery learning model can be applied to optimize students' interest in mathematics learning especially by paying attention to the results of reflections from this study.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap rasa ingin tahu dan prestasi belajar peserta didik mata pelajaran matematika melalui model pembelajaran matematika realistik. Jenis Penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, satu siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas V SD UMP. Tahapan kegiatan setiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan (planning), Pelaksanaan tindakan (action), Observasi (observing) dan Refleksi (Reflecting). Pengumpulan data rasa ingin tahu dengan menggunakan lembar observasi rasa ingin tahu peserta didik sedangkan untuk mengumpulkan data prestasi belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan lembar evaluasi yang diberikan pada setiap akhir pertemuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran matematika realistik (PMR) dapat meningkatkan sikap rasa ingin tahu dan prestasi belajar peserta didik pada materi keliling dan luas bangun datar pada kelas IV SD UMP.
