The purpose of this study is (1) To analyze the empowerment policies of the Cooperative and MSME sectors in order to create prosperity and economic equality, especially at the Government Level of the City of South Tangerang, (2) To see the participation of the Cooperatives and MSMEs in economic development in the South Tangerang region and (3) To position Cooperatives and MSMEs in the economic structure of South Tangerang. The method in this study is a qualitative method. Data were taken from interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis was performed using 4 stages namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are that the Cooperative Conditions in the South Tangerang Region in the last 3 years (2016-2018) experienced significant fluctuations. South Tangerang Cooperative experienced an increase in business volume which indicated that the South Tangerang Cooperative experienced an increase in operations, as well as a significant increase in SHU (Remaining Operating Results) in 2018 of Rp. 5,941,879,460 or an increase of 42.15% of the total SHU distribution in the previous year. While the condition of SMEs in South Tangerang experienced an increase in the total type of business from 2016-2018, Pondok Aren was the largest contributor to SMEs in South Tangerang, which was 23% of the total number of types of SMEs. The conclusion in this study is the total number of types of SME Classification as many as 33,596 from 7 districts in South Tangerang. This has a tremendous impact on the economy. Whereas in terms of cooperatives the increased business volume of cooperatives indicates an increase in operational terms while the increase in SHU (Remaining Business Results) will be useful for cooperative members to meet their daily needs. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk menganalisa kebijakan pemberdayaan sektor Koperasi dan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) dalam rangka menciptakan kesejahteraan dan pemerataan ekonomi khususnya di Tingkat Pemerintah Kota Tangerang Selatan, (2) Untuk melihat peran serta sumbangsih Koperasi dan UMKM dalam pembangunan ekonomi di wilayah Tangerang Selatan dan (3) Untuk memposisikan Koperasi dan UMKM dalam struktur perekonomian Tangerang Selatan. Adapun Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu Metode kualitatif. Data diambil dari hasil wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengunakan 4 tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian ini ialah Kondisi Perkoperasian di Wilayah Tangerang Selatan dalam 3 tahun terakhir (2016–2018) mengalami fluktuasi yang cukup signifikan. Perkoperasian Tangerang Selatan mengalami peningkatan volume usaha yang mengindikasikan bahwa Koperasi Tangerang Selatan mengalami kenaikan dalam operasionalnya, serta adanya peningkatan SHU (Sisa Hasil Usaha) yang cukup signifikan pada tahun 2018 yaitu sebanyak Rp. 5.941.879.460 atau naik sebesar 42.15% dari total penyaluran SHU pada tahun sebelumnya. Sedangkan kondisi UKM Tangerang Selatan cukup mengalami peningkatan total jenis usaha dari tahun 2016–2018, Pondok Aren menjadi kecamatan penyumbang paling banyak UKM di Tangerang Selatan yaitu sebanyak 23% dari total jumlah jenis UKM. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini ialah jumlah total jenis Klasifikasi UKM sebanyak 33.596 dari 7 Kecamatan yang ada di Tangerang Selatan. Hal ini memberikan dampak yang luar biasa dalam segi perekonomian. Sedangkan dalam segi Koperasi meningkatnya volume usaha Koperasi menandakan adanya peningkatan dalam segi operasional sedangkan meningkatnya SHU (Sisa Hasil Usaha) akan berguna bagi para anggota koperasi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari. This study aims to find the economic development strategies of converts in the city of Padang. The research approach was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through interviews, documentation and focus group discussions. The research explains that the economic problems of converts to cities in the city are caused by the severance of family relations, lack of ability, lack of converts, lack of assistance and lack of community awareness. The strategy in the economic development of converts in the city of Padang is happy with four processes. First, the making of converts as a means of gathering converts and becomes problem solving for all converts in the city of Padang. Second, capacity building is carried out by conducting trainings that provide theability of converts so that converts have the opportunity to make a business. Third, the provision of financial assistance aims to enable the ability of entrepreneurs who have been trained to be implemented in the form of business through financial assistance from both the government and the private sector. Fourth, supervision and assistance to the business carried out by converts in order to survive and be developed so that they can help other converts. To see the effects of the concept of this strategy it is necessary to implement all of these strategies so that they can be assessed and evaluated in an effort to improve the economy of converts.

This research will further explore the practice of Good Financial Goverance (GFD), with case studies on the partnership process that took place between the city government of Makassar with PT.GMTD in managing the finances for the participation of local government capital. The research will focus on actor relationships taking place between actors involved in capital partnerships as a recipe offered by Good Financial Governance. The research used qualitative method with researcher location in Makassar South Sulawesi, Indonesia.The main argument of this study is to question the claims of Good Financial Governance, which relies on economic development issues and good financial governance by opening investment shells and the involvement of actors outside the government. For this study, the claim is completely wrong. The results of this study found that good financial governance actually gave birth to a new problem that is Exclusivity Actors. Exclusivity of actors as a consequence of the unequal amount of capital on actors involved in Good Financial Governance. Exclusion of Actors Governance impact on the limits of power between governance actors to be biased, depending on the composition of capital in partnership.Keyword : Exclusivity of Actor, Good Financial Governance, Capital Governance

This article discusses the pillars that are at the root of maintaining harmony among religious communities in North Sulawesi Province. When in several cities in Indonesia riots and conflicts occurred only in the City of Manado (North Sulawesi Province) there were no riots and conflicts, whereas when viewed from demographic status that is similar to cities that occurred riots, Manado City has the potential for conflict. However, there are three pillars that make conflict and riots not occur, although it cannot be denied that there are always events that are related to the issue of SARA (Suku, Agama, Ras, dan Antar Golongan; Stands for Ethnic, Religion, Race and Intergroups) that can be the cause of riots in North Sulawesi Province. However, it can always be handled well so that riots and conflicts do not occur. The method used in this study is a qualitative method using anthropological and sociological approaches. The three pillars are the pillar of culture, pillar of religious leaders and the choice of government. The first pillar is culture to be one of the pillars of harmony in North Sulawesi Province because of the existence of mapalus culture. The second pillar, namely religious leaders, becomes a mobilizer in the community and plays a role in calling for sovereignty. The third breakdown is the government in which the government takes an important role by collaborating with religious leaders to safeguard harmony in North Sulawesi Province.Artikel ini membahas mengenai pilar-pilar yang menjadi akar dari terjaganya kerukunan antar umat beragama di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Ketika di beberapa kota di Indonesia terjadi kerusuhan dan konflik hanya di Kota Manado  (Provinsi Sulawesi Utara) tidak terjadi kerusuhan dan konflik, padahal jika dilihat dari status demografi yang mirip dengan kota-kota yang terjadi kerusuhan, Kota Manado berpotensi untuk terjadi konflik. Namun terdapat tiga pilar yang membuat konflik dan kerusuhan tidak terjadi meskipun tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa selalu saja muncul kejadian yang berkaitan dengan isu sara yang dapat menjadi pemantik kerusuhan di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Akantetapi, selalu saja dapat diatasi dengan baik sehingga tidak terjadi kerusuhan dan konflik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan antropologis dan sosiologis. Tiga pilar tersebut yaitu pilar budaya, pilar tokoh agama dan pilar pemerintah. Pilar pertama yaitu kebudayaan menjadi salah satu penopang kerukunan di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara karena adanya budaya “mapalus”. Pilar kedua yaitu tokoh agama menjadi penggerak disalam masyarakat dan berperan dalam menyerukan kedaiman. Pilar ketiga yaitu pemerintahan dimana pemerintah mengambil peran penting dengan bekerjasama dengan tokoh agama untuk menjaaga kerukuanan di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara.

Nautical tourism according to Hidayat (2000: 15) are activities related to marine which includes relaxing on the beach or enjoying the natural surroundings, swimming, surfing, diving, water sky and touring around, or in other words all the potential economic value that can be utilized to increase the income of the surrounding communities and increase state revenues. The purpose of this study was to determine the development undertaken by the Government of the city, to find out the sale of the City and to determine the role of the community in supporting marine tourism activities Beach Marina. This research is located in the Marina Beach of Semarang as has been defined as marine tourism area in the city of Semarang. This research uses descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques including data collection, data reduction, data presentation and decision making. This study uses descriptive qualitative research and quantitative descriptive. The conclusion of this study is the development undertaken by the Tourism Department of Semarang and manager of the Marina include a variety of development, promotion conducted on marine tourism Marina Beach include promotion in tourism events with regional and national scale, in cooperation with the stations, local TV, the role of the public against marine tourism Semarang inclined slightly for the management of Marina handed over to private parties. Wisata bahari menurut Hidayat (2000:15) adalah aktivitas yang berkaitan dengan kelautan yang meliputi santai di pantai atau menikmati alam sekitar, berenang, surfing, diving, water sky dan tur keliling, atau dengan kata lain segala potensi yang mempunyai nilai ekonomi sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat sekitar serta meningkatkan pendapatan negara. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pembangunan yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Kota Semarang, untuk mengetahui promosi dari Pemerintah Kota dan untuk mengetahui peran masyarakat dalam mendukung kegiatan wisata bahari Pantai Marina. Penelitian ini berlokasi di kawasan Pantai Marina Kota Semarang sebagaimana telah ditetapkan sebagai kawasan wisata bahari di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembangunan yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Pariwisata Kota Semarang dan pengelola terhadap Pantai Marina meliputi berbagai pembangunan, promosi yang dilakukan terhadap wisata bahari Pantai Marina meliputi promosi di event wisata dengan skala regional maupun nasional, bekerjasama dengan statisun tv lokal, peran masyarakat terhadap wisata bahari Kota Semarang cenderung sedikit karena pengelolaan Pantai Marina diserahkan kepada pihak swasta.

Analysis of urban sprawl is an issue that has been continuously attracting attention in the planning and research community. This paper presents the results of an analysis of the growth of the city of Madurai. Madurai is a city in the south part of Tamilnadu, commonly referred to as Temple City with many historical cultural places being safeguarded. The population of Madurai has grown tremendously and hence the need for more build up area has increased during the past 12 years. In our study, we analyze the development of urbanization in terms of Landuse, Landcover between 2007 and 2019 using GLR and PMR values. The growth of population is directly proportional to the value of the land which is evident by the growth in GLR and PMR values. GLR is the guideline value from the government sector for a land while PMR is the privilege market rate for the same land.

Many areas in Indonesia region still have social problems such as poverty, education, and health. The problem requires the local government to conduct communication strategies by increasing regional revenues through tourism. One of the regional efforts is to attract tourists visiting, through the city branding program. This article seeks to analyze the slogan Impressive Probolinggo is related to the tourism communication strategy of the Probolinggo City Government. The data was collected through interviews with City Government institutions, community leaders, and tourist visitors in 2018. The data was analyzed using an interactive qualitative method from Miles Huberman. The results showed that the slogan Impressive Probolinggo City became a city branding the Probolinggo City Government to attract tourists. The slogan is executed through a communication strategy that includes core and field communicators, worth of mouth-based messages, diverse media platforms, and involves community engagement. The government needs to improve socialization and design a more creative and innovative communication strategy so that the tourism potential in Probolinggo city develops sustainably.

The government deployed 8,000 troops in the city, but the escalating violence has raised concerns about the government's ability to resolve the conflict. The economy has changed dramatically since the COVID-19 outbreak began. The impact that occurred in Indonesia was almost on all fronts, and the Government continued to issue policies due to this impact. Tax policies that are designed to provide incentives for affected taxpayers are expected to increase economic growth. This research was conducted to map 14 Tax Policies in three Regulations issued by the Government based on the objective of reducing the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach obtained. Then perform data analysis using three stages of analysis techniques in the form of data collection, data reduction, and concluding. The results of the study state that Indonesia has issued a policy to help taxpayers who are affected by COVID-19. Benefits for taxpayers, namely a reduction in rates to an exemption from income tax, the goal is that the economy which has stopped moving up becomes stable. This research is motivated by the emergence of various conflicts in various cities in Indonesia which is triggered by the activation of ethnicity and religious stereotypes, either individually or in groups in their social interaction. Surabaya is one of the big cities inhabited by various ethnic and religious and those are potential to cause conflict. This study attempts to highlight how the picture of the interaction and the level of trust among ethnic and religious in the city of Surabaya. This study is expected to provide an overview of vertices that have the potential to create conflicts in the future so that it can be anticipated by the Government. Using qualitative method and symbolic interactionism approach, which assumes that the social reality is a series of events that occur in some individuals in the society and lasted consciously and it is related to gestures, vocal, voice, and body expression, it is concluded that the city is a melting pot where people of various ethnic groups and religions merge into one. The conflict occurred because of the characteristics of the groups in conflict distinguishable in the clarity of boundaries between groups in conflict; and the degree of organization of each group are closely related to patterns of interaction and communication that was developed from two sides.

In 1870 the Government of the day had behind it the stronger party in the country; and among its followers in Parliament were the two members for the City of London. Pass a quarter of a century, and come to the Government brought into power by the general election of 1895. Exactly the same two things may be said of it; it too had behind it the stronger party in the country; it too numbered among its followers in Parliament the members for the City of London. Only, whereas the Government of 1870 was Liberal, the Government of 1895 was Conservative. That quarter of a century had witnessed the transfer of the City of London's political allegiance from Liberalism to Conservatism; and therein the City's opinions corresponded to those of the business and moneyed classes generally. So it was, not only in the south of England, but also in the Midlands and Lancashire; though not yet at all to the same extent in Yorkshire, the north-east coast, or Scotland.
